Another result 3 - 0 agst Clyde today. Clean sheet at Ibrox , and fantastic turnout with 47,463 on a cold dreary day with no or limited public transport!

Believable35 Unbelievable18

The biggest club in scotland with the best support who cares about the spl and the shameful supporters

Agree41 Disagree28

With due respect to the other SFL 3 taems we should be doing this every game now without retort.

#1.. Just wonder how content and smug you will be during the winter, as you travel to the smallest grounds in Scotland, watch part time teams beaten by the New Rangers, and celebrate the winning of Div 3, whilst those of us unclean from the other side of the city travel to the main stadiums in Scotland, defeat the strongest full time clubs in Scotland, win the SPL Championship, with access to europes, Oh and off course entertain the best teams in Europe.

Enjoy your New Year in the lower leagues.

Agree12 Disagree27

Shameful supporters @2? It was Craig Whyte that killed your "mighty" club, nothing to do with Aberdeen, Celtic, Dundee Utd fans.

@3

Nice to see you you still have the xmas spirit flowing from you

Cant you just for once bring it in your hear to congratulate Rangers fans for sticking by their club through thick and thin. many of us sincerely congratulated your club on reaching the last 16 of the champions league

as for your comment about Celtic fans travelling to the main stadiums in scotland and defeat the strongest full-time teams in scotland all i can say is

GET REAL MAN

you are struggling to get bums on seats at celtic park never mind travelling to other teams you have resorted to giving away free tickets and not disclosing crowds because they are so poor. i will give you one thing you are right about entertaining the best of Europe and i am envy of this.

the SPL has become meaningless to the majority of Celtic fans because we are not in it. i honestly think it would be the same for us if it was Celtic playing in the 3rd div, our crowds would be no where near what they are. our crowds are what they are because of a number of things.

price is one of them but more important is what we have been through together, the freshness of playing new teams going to new places, not playing the same dross week in week out like we done for years.

so please dont come on here spouting rubbish about visiting all theses great stadiums and playing against these strong teams your fans might not say they are fed up with it in words but they are saying it with not putting bums on seats

Agree20 Disagree15

Is december not winter

Agree6 Disagree7

@3 it's amazing how quickly your head gets swollen. You would think that your team entertains the best teams in Europe season after season instead of once in a blue moon. Don't get me wrong Celtic have done very well to get to the last 16 but don't try and make out it's the norm as your just as likely to get knocked out in the prelims next season. As for entertaining the top teams in Scotland big deal some of the pitches in the 3rd division are better than the so called big boys and I would hardly class Ross County as the place where dreams are made of

Agree17 Disagree6

@3. We're just making the most of where we are. Sorry if were not crying about our situation as you expected and hoped. You enjoy your title romp and we'll enjoy ours.

Agree12 Disagree6

Travel to the main stadiums in Scotland? It might surprise you to know that 2 of the biggest 3 stadiums are in the 3rd division and after Saturday Queens Park will have have a home gate of over 40,000 something nearly all the SPL sides can only dream of

Agree15 Disagree6

No 3 how will you feel when you win the leaugue in the next few years against 11 other sub standard spl teams ,it would be like like the square ball in the bag with the round balls for every draw tainted ? doug t.s.o

Agree17 Disagree7

@3. So your saying you dont wash! because no1 never mentioned anything about your cleanliness! maybe if your that paranoid you should shower more just a suggestion merry xmas ho ho ho...mark

Agree10 Disagree3

You do realise you are playing amateur teams...

Agree6 Disagree7

At 9 maybe but the 2 in div 3 stadiums not as big as the most impressive one in spl

Agree5 Disagree12

At #3 the 21st of December was the shortest day of the year we are now heading back into summer, 1st game after the shortest day over 47,000 at Ibrox v Clyde .....so what is your point

Agree5 Disagree1

@3),

We can only beat what is infront of us. We will happily travel to the smallest stadiums in the country to support our team. We support our team through thick and thin, unlike Celtic fans who only support their club during the big matches. We will travel to Gretna and Annan and fill our allocation whilst Celtic fans are struggling to fill their own stadium. Unfortunately for you us Bears are loving life in the 3rd division and we will celebrate winning the 3rd division title in the same manner we did when we won the SPL title. So you lot enjoy your SPL title, we'll enjoy our 3rd division title a whole lot more!

TTG

Agree13 Disagree2

The spl was meaningless to a lot of fans before your troubles. If it wasn't for european games I wouldn't even bother. Call me a big game hunter bla de bla but I know I'm not alone.

Agree3 Disagree1

I notice that many of the posts refer to the crowds. Very few, in comparison, make reference to the quality of football being served up.

Agree4 Disagree3

@ TTG; What a stupid post.Celtic would also fill the allocation for away games, what is it? 1500 -2000? try and think mate

Agree5 Disagree5

@ TTG; and your travelling to Gretna why? Numpty.

Agree2 Disagree0

Rangers average attendance only higher than celtics once in last 12 years stats are there in spl web site go and check so by your reasoning you have only been the greatest fans once in twelve years your share issue pales into insignificanse when you look at how much celtic fans raised also best in world as Ricky Tomlison says my arse

Rangobango

Agree5 Disagree7

@20 well obviously tic will have a larger average attendance since they have a larger stadium capacity.

Agree2 Disagree0

Well no 20 like the peter sarstedt song where do you go to my lovely when your alone in the crowd ( at parkhead with 9 a and 14 thousand ) tell me the thoughts thats surround you cos i cant get through to your head lol doug t.s.o

ninth straight win in all competitions??? pity about the 2 cups you have been knocked out already....!!! otherwise a great comment..lol

Agree18 Disagree17

Over 47 thousand at ibrox today with just 28 thousand in total in 5 spl games just proves what a shambles the spl are without rangers

Agree37 Disagree22

Just back from the game and what you said just about sums us up, not playing great but getting the results and at the end of the day that's what matters, points.
WE're getting there.

isnt it strange the Armaggedon predicted because of no Rangers hasnt happened???
only 1 club in Liquidation..( Rangers) yet at least 3 were to be at deaths door before New year ????
all the doom and gloom still to come???
only people missing rangers in SPL are the Bears...but as long as they are enjoying their time climbing up the ladder of success from obscurity who are we to criticise....
not long until Feb and the wee Game at Dundee to give you a slight distraction from the hustle and bustle of winning the 4th bottom tier league..title 1 or 55 no one really cares except the 50,000 (approx) at Ibrox every 2nd week
next season you will have a pre season, you will be able to arrange glamour friendlies and have training camps in the sun...everything you didnt have this year so no excuses and a real good romp throught 2nd Div is predicted.....WE WILL SEE...ALLY MUST STAY...GOD BLESS Mr GREEN {Ed001's Note - what about Hearts needing to beg the fans to bail them out? Hibs having to get a cash injection from Farmer?}

Agree9 Disagree11

Why are there so many pestimistic tims on here? Your manager has had the worst start to a domestic season in living memory, any real competition and he would be ok the scrapheap as no many fans demanded last season

Agree18 Disagree7

Lets be honest thespl was a shambles with rangers in it

Agree6 Disagree7

@7 4th bottom tier league? does that mean you're in the 1st bottom tier league?

Agree9 Disagree1

To 7.] Season is not yet finished and the bubble is straining, soon to burst. January/ February will be the trying months so when the first spl club goes, then watch the dominoes tumble.

Agree9 Disagree2

@8 no real competition so what is barca benfica and moscow then ........ok its not elginannan and stirling but they can play a bit of football

Agree6 Disagree8

@7 . Look mate your team wer playing Dundee tonight but you took the time to come onto Rangers forum . Another closet fan wanting to join our ranks. Get to th back of the queue. When you get to the front you will ne made welcome .

to ED001..2 x Blips (Hearts and Hibs) do not make for Armaggedon..and to be fair Hearts were in trouble last season even with the mighty cash cow (your readers words) in the same league...and lets face it what is the rush to have Rangers back in the top flight as the fans are going to boycott all grounds that are not managed by ex rangers men...( ie m/well and inverness) so no benefit having Rangers in the top league... {Ed001's Note - hardly blips, 2 of the bigger teams in Scotland in trouble is far from a blip.}

Agree2 Disagree5

26 Dec 2012 21:58:25
to #8...Champions League Qualifiers then group stage and now last 16...better competition than even the old Rangers could muster so a bit of a mute point considering 7 points clear at top of the League with a game in hand and still competing in ALL competitions (thats All competitions eligible for) not too bad a start to a season..........

Rangers = Knocked out of 2 cups early but top of 4th tier league in Scotland and still in 1X cup
so good start for ally too......

Ally must stay

Agree11 Disagree7

@5 did you mean best supported in Scotland ? And one of the best in Britain?
