I see McCoist has again decided not to give youth a chance in tonight's League Cup tie against Queen's Park. Who does he bring in - Peralta for Templeton. If he can't give the kids a chance in matches like this then he never will. Of course, I think we all know that anyway.

And if he plays kids in a match like this as u call it and gets put out ( the way hearts did v livi ) cup you would be on here like a shot giving him.yet more stick ,

To be fair peralta needs games either to get fitness up or being in shop window but I think at wing back he is quite good but usual macoist does not play players in their best positions

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 r. f, Queens Park are amateurs who currently sit fourth bottom in the Scottish Second division, if ally is not willing to give two or three of the younger lads a chance in this game it tells me he never will. It is also very indicative of the lack of coaching ability in our management team that they cannot coach younger lads to compete against an amateur team. Not sure how you can really continue to defend this nonsense but I'm fairly certain you will try.

Agree0 Disagree0

What are you on about. We are not good enough to play a team full of youth players and if mccoist did and we got put out then the Ally haters would be out in force again calling for his head! GET A GRIP

@3 if our youth players were that good they wouldn't have blow a 5pt lead in the league last season & the fact still remains if he would've chopped & changed a winning team and queens did beat us all hell would've broke loose and this c$%* there bottom of this div or that div shocks happen as last nights results. proved

Rossw01, Blue Velvet said 2 or 3 of the younger lads not a whole team! I'm not an Ally hater, I just think he is not a good enough manager/ coach for Rangers. I am quite worried that he sees the need to postpone the East Fife game because of int call-ups, because the players we have missing should not make any difference if we had a half-way competent man in charge!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok then youngwinston. Surely playing our best team is the best policy at the moment. So why play 3 youth players and risk going out of the cup?? If the youth players are good enough then they will break through just like aird macleod etc

Agree0 Disagree0

Blue velvet/youngwinston, It is useless wasting comments[ albeit totally accurate] on A. McC. He has obviously got his own game plan and is consumed with self-preservation. He has no interest in the long term, but maybe he is right as we appear to be on short term thinking regarding funding. The possible £4million input is probably already spent and the future is bleak. I doubt, unless a radical re-think of policy, we will be bust by Xmas. Maybe Mr Wallace should update his Dec. 2013 financial statement to show our true position and save speculation. [ note:- please include all potential share options this time GW. ]

Rossw01, no BS are you saying Ally should stay as manager, please no comment on his salary or the old ''he stood by us'' a simple yes or no.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4, ok rossw01, is this better?

Ally, Congratulations on a fantastic result last night against the Mighty Queens Park. How you motivated your team of full time players on big salaries, some of which have international caps, to overcome the unpaid amateur side you were up against was remarkable, given that they had probably been give the afternoon off from their day job in order to be fresh for the game. Hats off to you for a great achievement and I'm sure if Jose decides to vacate his post, Roman will be right on the phone.

Do me a favour.

Today's post about naming the stadium, I voted yes because to every single Rangers fan it will always be Ibrox and you'll never think about calling it whatever they choose. Livingstons stadium has been called different things The West Lothian Courier Stadium for one but everybody around here calls it Almondvale! Take the cash

ok lemme ask, don't you think maybe SG wasnt good enough? let's be honest here, we have the best GK coach in the country and has been for several years, he would have had a say in these dealings no doubt so maybe he did not see SG as good enough for rangers, or good enough to challenge what we had in bell and simonsen. Stop being so cynical and let's just support the players we have signed, I for one, am getting sick of seeing all these neg posts slating ally and the team, ok we ain't playing free flowing football atm but who in scotland is. If half of you put as much effort in to support the club as you do to degrade the players/managment/tea ladies then we would maybe be in a better place.

I must have missed that article what's the Tea Lady done!

The article in the Mail about Lee Wallace conceding that his Scotland international future chances are slim owes everything to his loyalty in sticking with Rangers, knowing that his international career would be affected. McCoist should make him captain as soon as possible to reward his loyalty to the club. Fair play to you Lee, I wish we had more like you!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

OP: Don't you think the fact that he is being paid more than he would get elsewhere is the key factor rather than loyalty?

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree he has stood by us from the beginning and is a great professional with good character on and off the field thanks for staying even though every transfer window he gets put up there he wants to play for Rangers!

Agree0 Disagree0

Styab wallace has stated he wants to stay at rangers and I for one could see him making lots more money elsewhere so ime mega glad he has stated his disire to be a bear

Agree0 Disagree0

STYAB What are you on about wallace could have walked into any team in the championship in England and got more money than he is on now and also he would have been scotlands first choice Left back so have a bit of respect for a guy that's stood by our great club

Agree0 Disagree0

He would double or treble his wages in a move to The Championship or EPL down south.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4
Spot on mate Wallace who never confessed to being a Rangers fan stayed with the club while other so called Rangers fans couldn't wait to desert. He has given up money and caps to stay with us for that he will always be a true Rangers legend

Agree0 Disagree0

To all above: We'll agree to disagree. If I had the chance to double or treble my wages, as some suggest, I wouldn't be sticking around and I think of myself as someone who's been loyal to all of my employers.
