Aye I was nearly there :) I had forgot they lost all there big guns. I think we have a fantastic chance of progressing through this group it's exciting stuff :) Going to Ibrox on saturday to see Weiss and hopefully Jelavic too, they are 2 players who Bursaspor and Villareal will be scared of.

Hi i am a celtic fan and it is close to the draw and i hope rangers get an easy draw and do well in the champions league. As for us being in the europa league i hope its a good night for celtic motherwell and dundee utd hopefully scottish football can do well this year.

Just realised a group stage win is worth almost a million pounds.

£280,000 for playing so x 6 is a minimum of £1.68m

A win is a further £600,000 ! ! Ridiculous money, a draw is a further £300.000! !

So lets be optimistic about Rangers (The only way to be :) )

I'll say 2 wins and 2 draws, we would rake in, £3.48M + the £15m we have already recieved is almost £19m i also expect to progress ( don't laugh )
which is a further £10-15m totalling probably over £30m This would be an unbelievable sum of money for Rangers to recieve, this could write of our debt entirely. A smarter move however ( in my opinion ) would be to pay off maybe 15m of the debt, reducing it to a very managable amount while leaving us £15m to invest in an already strong team which could set us of on some years of dominance.
This is highly dependent on our CL league performance so i know it may not happen, but its not really that far-fetched is it? We've done it before, as have the manky mob so why not? Things are looking up around Ibrox :) so keep your fingers crossed lads.

Jelavic as posted on the rangers website has a work permit just waiting to see if he is cup tied rangers would go through all the crap of trying to sign him if they wernt goin to play him. or even have him in the squad. its crap that peopl saying he isint coming its a don deal.

To all these deluded Fans that believe Bougherra will go even If Rangers accept the offer It's still up to bougherra if he wants to leave and a don't think newcastle would be his preferred destination when he has been linked with better clubs than newcastle. And Martin Bain And Walter Smith have confirmed that they don't need to sell anymore players so why sell our best defender knowing it will anger fans.

Bougherra is not going anywhere or any of our top players for that matter and talk of smith coming it's a nice thought but not realistic he's got another crack at the premiership so not going to happen. There may be another midfeilder on way soon and barizite is 50-50. good to be a bear.

The only issue regarding a work permit is that he is cup tied in Europe if Rapid beat Villa - other than that, you're talking mince.
