So when ally goes and we get a new manager. will you all still be wanting a new team? How can anyone expect performances from black, law or mcculloch when none of them were ever good enough in the spl. Just cause we signed spl players some of you think they have to be good. The players aren't good enough and its as simple as that.

{Ed039's Note - Black has been horrible since signing never mind not being good enough for Prem)

OP : I've read very few posts on this site saying Black is a good player.
Jig is what he is, a journeyman.
Law was and can be a good player again if deployed properly.

Exactly so why do people expect him to do anything for us 3 years on. he's an old timer for god sake

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - I have never expected anything from them other than his customary yellow card)

Sorry big jig was certainly good enough in the spl and has given us years of graft, goals, leadership, and loyalty admittedly time has caught up with the big fella but there's a man who deserves some credit.

{Ed039's Note - Agreed)

Sotonbear:Agreed mate, just meaning as he is now. Over the years his heart and effort never in question.

@2 You mentioned 3 players, which one are you talking about?

Agree0 Disagree0

We can say this player is no good orthis is not bad but the fact of the matter is macoist can't bring the best out of any of them they are played out of position or starved of the ball he signed boyd who as I feared is hopless not fit and can't fit into the one man up front with another manager the difference would probably be ten times better with some decent coaching and innovative tactics who could be brought in certainly not terry butcher or billy davis maybe s mcoll I don't know but until there is a change in managers we can't really slag players off to much becuse they all done well until macoist got his hands on them even lee waallace

McCulloch played in the premiership for a good few seasons so think it's wrong to have a go at him. How many other current players were good enough to play at that level?

Agree0 Disagree0

Black has always been a nasty wee thug and now because we pay him so much he has become obnoxious with it!! shame on our club that he has ever worn a Rangers jersey. Big Jig is just too old now and should bow out gracefully. Nicky Law, easily SPL standard but not under Ally. As for Boyd he looks about 4 stone heavier than last season, how do you go from scoring 20 odd goals for a team who escaped the play-offs on the last day to being unable to run the length of yourself? answer! Ally McCoist's coaching, training & tactics!

Agree0 Disagree0

Youngwinston1: I can't go the sight of Black in a Gers shirt either mate, also he HATED us when he was at Hearts, still does no doubt. Its the Boyd bit I disagree with. I think he was heavier in his first stint, he doesn't do running lol.
The whole set up needs a change.

Like most bears I'd like to see a couple of NUFC players making their way to Ibrox on loan in January.

But if I was Alan Pardew I'd be dead against that knowing that every single player goes backward under Super Ally's coaching.

Yet another sad indictment of McCoist's reign.

THE SPFL have set a date of December 9 for Charlie Telfer's transfer tribunal. The midfielder moved from Rangers to Dundee United in the summer and the Light Blues are due training compensation. Rangers have so far rejected United's offers for Telfer so an independent panel will now decide the fee next month.
This is one of many baffling decisions by our inept management team, quite happy for an exciting and talented young player with far more to offer than most of the duds we have to watch week in week out. If we had a half descent manager then the young lad would probably be used on a more regular basis, gaining valuable experience and inevitably benefiting the club longterm financially. Jackie mcnamara can at least see the boys potential.

Agree. It's a joke. We now have a link up with some US acadamies. Why bother they have next to no chance of ever getting near the team whilst this clown is in charge.

Agree0 Disagree0

Op and 1) spot on youth has no chance under mccoist read a staggering fact about the hearts game that the combined age of the Rangers team was 406 that's an outrageous scandal maybe we should cash in on Murray park.

Agree0 Disagree0

FFS MAN: You never know, one of these boys could be an absolute gem, they have to get unearthed somewhere.
Saying that, Ally will kill their career before it starts lol. In all seriousness though it looks like we're stuck with Super for the forseeable, he's got to grow baws and drop Black, Miller, Boyd and Jig. The fans will at least give him his due for that, ok he may be clueless but he's been let down as well by the players, a wee statement of intent like that would shake the place up if nothing else.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gkk. Yes, I'd replace Black, Miller, Boyd and Jig with Mackay, Clark, Daly and Gasparotto

Agree0 Disagree0

We should call ally in tomorrow and activate the year on the rolling contract, that will start it running down, he might then get his A**E in gear, or better still walk.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 Just looking at the Record page there and Bomber said he would drop the players I mentioned apart from Black, who should be first. Big Elvis who is manager at Coventry did it recently after losing to a non-league mob, he said at a post match PC that too many players have let him down, and won't wear the jersey again. Now if we are stuck with Ally, I would respect him if he done it. I agree with your replacements also.

2. Read this from a website:

"Hearts had 9 players age 22 & under, we had 9 players age 29 or over. Hearts romping the League with youngsters. "

And by all accounts Charlie Telfer played a stormer for Dundee Utd on Saturday. Not that all Ally's old pals will ever point facts like these out.

All these so called leaders of the supporters groups saying mccoist needs time to get it write, he's had enough time, so get him out now, he's been there 4 years the football is pish, he's clueless. never renewed my s, t but payed at gate, not now finished until he's gone.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree he must go and my call would be for Big Tel. I know things went pear-shaped at Hibs, but he turned Inverness Caley into a really good team and he was/is a Rangers legend who has passion.

There has often been debate about exactly who these fan chiefs represent. After the comments in the paper today I now know for a fact that they DO NOT speak for me. Get behind McCoist if you want to see talent wasted, big lumps up the park and another year in the championship.

Agree0 Disagree0

They seem to think the are more important than they actually are. They don't speak for me or a large number of the support. Really don't know why the papers give them so much coverage

Agree0 Disagree0

He's an inept coach a financial leech, arrogant smug sleakit comes too mind. A legend fast becoming an embarrassment, Do the hounarable thing &walk away ASAP.!!
