i know Neil Warnock iss getting on a bit, but he has had some success over the years. Would he be worth considering? and maybe putting Murty there as his no 2? Warnock seems to have a soft spot for us, but could he take the pressure? guys what do you think?

25 Mar 2018 20:15:14
good shout ritchie

warnocks an experienced no-nonsense manager who can set a team up properly

id be happy with him and murty as no. 2

26 Mar 2018 09:37:03
I can't see Murty taking a lesser role at the club again. If he's not manager next season i think he will want to leave

26 Mar 2018 15:02:17
Neil Warnock would be an interesting appointment, he would certainly put the fear into the dressing room and that's what is missing. Lee McCulloch once told a story about him messing about on the training pitch and all it took was a stare from Walter for him to know he's in trouble. That type of fear isn't there at the moment to do well.

27 Mar 2018 11:05:21
i agree we should go for billy reid and graham potter, aslong as he brings his wee brother harry to work some magic

29 Mar 2018 20:50:32
Warnock, success. Yeah he slightly managed Swansea and Derby. Not high flying clubs. And although I've slated Murty on here many times he's by far a better man manager than Warnock. This is not a move forward.

25 Mar 2018 18:03:44
We will have one player returning next season that doesn't get mentioned much on here. Harry Forrester. he signed a new deal in 2016 until 2019.do you think he will come back and play or do you think he will be loaned out sold or released?

I think he will be transfer listed along with Hodson Haliday Dodoo Alves and MOH don't think we will release anyone with a year left on their contract.

Which players could you see being released from their early contract as rumoured?

25 Mar 2018 16:19:39
ED, I know i'm a regular for asking for polls, but feel i really do want this poll mate, if you don't mind! After reading rather worrying comments in Davie Provan's sun newspaper column this morning, regarding how NO manager that has a more than decent standing in the game, would touch our manager's job, as we're run like the Celtic of the 80's and part of the 90's! He actually insinuated that Walter smith would turn down the rangers job due to having no tools to stop the dominance of them!

He practically said that our board of directors have went down on bended knees to coax Walter smith back as our manager short term to stop Celtic's dominance and Smith had knocked them back! So my poll ED, would be:
Do our supporters want Walter smith back as our manager short term or not at all?

Walter Smith Poll

25 Mar 2018 18:15:31
What would Davie provan know about anything happening at ibrox? We do have problems but I wouldn't worry or care what Davie provan thinks. Or Sutton, Boyd, Ferguson, Thompson etc for that matter

25 Mar 2018 23:26:28
Don't know how any rangers fans could say not at all, sir Walter would be welcome back anytime. We all know it's never going to happen but to say u wouldn't have him back is just nonsense.

26 Mar 2018 02:02:59
Davie who?

26 Mar 2018 10:32:55
he has a point though about the running of the club.
that lot were run on a biscuit tin mentality until their bunnet stepped in and gave them the harsh reality and facts.
DK talks a lot, and says what a lot of supporters want to hear, but imo does fek all.
It's the other guys around who are putting their money where their mouth is.

26 Mar 2018 13:21:42
dk seems to be the problem hear he hardly any money to invest instead using other peoples money and still wanting to call the shots.
that is not the way it works that's why we now find ourselves in the situion off having to go the close brothers as other investers have pulled out because of king.
he neeeds to step aside so the club can move forward come the summer he is just going use more money that is not his the fans season ticket money he needs to invest or step aside and let others do it instead as the cleary don't won't work with him.

25 Mar 2018 12:29:49
Don't think Dodoo has been given fair crack TBH.

25 Mar 2018 12:40:34
Or M o, h. IMO.

25 Mar 2018 17:14:16
Regarding M. O. H. Why on earth did Rangers recall him then not play him. Another concern is Pedro is not doing well at all which could mean we'll end up with Pena again!

25 Mar 2018 17:46:09
M. O. H loan was only until January think we were looking for money or possible swap deal to move him on. Could still be on the cards for the summer I hope

25 Mar 2018 18:08:40
Thanks JohnGreig78 for updating me. What do you think will happen regarding Pena?

25 Mar 2018 19:46:15
Really don't know what will happen with Pena think he will leave along with Herrera but we will take a big hit cash wise. costly mistakes both of them along with Alves

25 Mar 2018 20:29:38
I'd make Pena stand on the touch line so we could all give him it stinking regarding the rangers shorts nose blowing incident if he's even got the cheek to appear back at ibrox

26 Mar 2018 00:23:30
Do folk genuinely think Pena ‘blew’ his nose on Rangers shorts as a sign of disrespect or something? 🤦🏻‍♂️ Jeezo man. Bunch of snowflakes.

He wiped his nose with a pair of Gers shorts man, aye probably not the most clever thing considering how sensitive football fans are, but I genuinely don’t think he meant anything by it

26 Mar 2018 08:44:28
MOH was given plenty of chances, just not good enough I’m afraid. Agree Dodoo has not been given a fair chance. His goals/ minutes played ratio is decent and some explosive match winning goals at that. Recall he destroyed Aberdeen at Pittodrie end of last season.

26 Mar 2018 20:22:01
how can you possibly say plenty of chances? he got minutes here and thee, the occasional half game, personally i think him and Dodoo have been treated like crap

25 Mar 2018 10:51:19
Be interesting in the summer to see if morelos goes for less then 11M then excuses are made why it wasn't higher then we know the China bids were fake .

25 Mar 2018 12:23:57
Dave king , ime sorry mate, i can't agree with above post in re morelos, we couldn't afford too sell morelos at xmass window, as we needed to keep him as his goals are badly needed, in order for us to keep trying to win the league this season, we all know now we won't win the league, but we never knew that at xmass time, hignsight is a wonderful thing eh, steven.

25 Mar 2018 13:00:04
Of course it wasn't a real bid. If it was, hands would have been bitten off.

25 Mar 2018 13:35:39
hahahaha there was no bid for morelos. if there was then close bros would not have been contacted

25 Mar 2018 17:51:38
So we were apparently offered 11 million for Morelos which we knocked back then we get a 3 million loan from Close Brothers with Albion car park and Edmison house as insurance. Make up your own mind.

25 Mar 2018 19:20:07
would you sell the guy who could make the difference to the season for a short term load -answer NO

25 Mar 2018 20:45:04
gees. what a load of mince.

your club never sold morelos for 11 millions because he could have been the difference between 2nd and 3rd?

no wonder your club keeps coming back to the fans for handouts if they are as gullable as you.

Morelos is a poor striker. he's doubled his wages and he will not sell for any more than 3 million

26 Mar 2018 20:23:58
so how many goals has Morelos scored since the transfer widow closed? think about it
