Here's 2 facts. 1, If the atmosphere at Ibrox was electric it would have a positive effect on the team. 2, A drearly silent stadium except for the occassional boo increases tension in the team and has a negative effect.
The fans are called the 12th man for a reason. Get on board regardless of the performance esp as its so early on in the season.

Not too many boos abroad but I Ha e been might embarrassed by much of the bigotry on show (by the minority) that belongs in the dark ages.

Let me fire some names here to jog some memories. Billy Dodds, Rod Wallace, Mark Hateley and Nacho Novo. The common denominator here is that when we signed these strikers, not one of them was the big name expected or wanted by our supporters at the time. They were underwhelming signings as the support were after household names with bigger fees. Each of these guys went on to score barrowloads of goals for us. So maybe the signing we need doesn't need to be a Solanke or a Defoe but just someone who can do it in our league on a consistent basis. Louis Moult might not have set the heather on fire at Preston but may be the ideal option. He would be available at an affordable price and wouldn't command silly wages. The lack of flair would be offset by the wingers we have at our disposal. Couple this with a strong midfield and tighter defencr and we may actually achieve something this year. One player who consistently takes the chances in tight games will be the difference between challenging for trophies this year or not.

Morelos doesn't fill me with confidence, Windass looks like he'll be played out wide. Watched their game tonight v rosenborg and that Edouard does what morelos doesn't - takes his chances. They've also got Dembele and Griffiths up front - and let's face it that's far better than what we've got.

I can't believe the negativity I'm reading on the Rumours page, for goodness sake give SG a chance, I'm happy with his pedigree in the game, and also his knowledge of the game, which extends way beyond what any of us fans know. Once we are up and running, I have a feeling we'll be pleasantly surprised by the quality we're seeing from our team. The reason adam was not great at us. IS because he was used as a left sided midfielder was constantly played out if position. he's a centre mid. Actually disnt realise how many goals he did score for us. Good goals aswel. But yeah definitely passed it we have better in middle of park now.

Hi guys I see Osijek have signed two new defenders today don't know if they qualify to play or not, one from the polish league and one from the Czech. league I think our scouts should take note of this, on an entirely different subject I know Gerrard is trying to build a side of better quality but 90% of our games are in Scotland so I think we should be looking at Louis moult a tried and true striker in our league also hearing windlass might be away if that's the case and we get a fair price I would like to see us sign Michael Frey from Zurich 3 times the player windlass is anyway thoughts lads.

Whichever way you cut it Windass was a mainstay in a side that finished behind Aberdeen and 3 points ahead of Hibs. So if you want to be third stick with Windass. Yes he has qualities BUT not enough for us to take us up a groove. He is 24 now and I am tired of Pollsters stating he has potential.

It really is unbelievable all the rumours about a new striker (which we definitely need) yet we let young Hardie go on loan to Livingston. I know I've ranted on about Hardie for ages but for goodness sake how can we know if he can cut it in the first team if we don't give him a chance. I don't know what 'not cutting it in training' means but he has scored goals for the teams who he has been on loan with before and for Scotland under 21s. Training means nothing unless you can cut it on the park in a match.
