Be afraid , be very afraid , "Lizzie is coming" there will be no new buyer before Oct / Nov 2012 , Rangers have made 2 attempts to settle their impending tax bill out of court , firstly £3m then £10m both were dismissed out of hand by the HMRC , if there was no case to answer why try to settle out of court? , they are alleged to owe £24m core payment of tax , £12m in accrued interest and will be liable for court costs and penalties for late payment , all in all who in their right mind will want to buy Rangers when counting current debts of £20m , will cost up to £80m , this is the reason Lloyds are snaffling every penny they can , they realise that come the day that they will not be No1 in the debtors queue , time to wake up and smell the coffee chaps , the baw is burst , the glory days are gone ,

ahem. .Rangers allegedly owe a sum of money to HMRC because they used perfectly legal EDTs. HMRC believe this "loop-hole" was oversubscribed and they believe they are owed money. Rangers are not the only club to use these "offshore accounts" as I'm sure you are aware. in fact, Football clubs are not the only COMPANIES to use this facilitiy. Furthermore, they are used by individuals the world over.
What's the source for your £60mill? Don't believe everything you read from Irish-based journos my deluded friend. Anyone would think you subscribe to the consipracy-based theorys out there. .

RANGERS OWE HMRC - £60m
This is a fact.
Rangers have been paying players for years through an EBT (Employee Benefit Trust) which basically is a method of avoiding PAYE taxes.
This has given Rangers and unfair advantage for years as their tax avoidance methods, have meant players having a higher take home pay, without costing Rangers any extra.
Rangers have already offered HMRC £10m to make the case go away, HMRC refused point blank and are going to make an example of Rangers and are looking to the get the full £60m they are owed.
I suggest all you Rangers fans take your head out of the sand.

Its a pain in the a* e reading all the comments about players being spotted at ibrox and murray park by people friends.yet the loads of photographers who are permanently positioned at the airports.the stadium and training facilities don't spot any of these players.

Would be very surprised at the Bebe rumours coming through, for the reasons, as said B4, Cup tied for europe, and wage demand.
I see sky sports transfer centre is linking us with Benetez, and Matavz. . (I really hope We can do something to get Matavz, sell megregor buy Kello as replacement, and fund a bid for Matavz, McGregor has been great, bar a recent f* *-up against Celtic, but i'm sure he'll want a bash at the EPL) What do you think, Ed have you heard anything on the Matavz interest?

Rangers should go for Leigh Griffiths(sp). He is a great player and we could get him for a cut price of 150K with the way Dundee are heading.
Also if Rangers are to sell anyone i reckon it will be McGregor(Unfortunately) as he is the only player we have great cover for. Alexander would slot in nicely and sign Bell for 150K-200k. As we would get 5M+ for Mcgregor i reckon we would get 2M of it. We would also get maybe 500K+ from Adam sell on clause. Bring in Commons from McGregors wage! Can also see us getting Evans/Wilson on loan which would see Webster leave/
Wouldnt be surprised if the Rangers team was this by the end of the window.

Not convinced about this. Bebe is named in the MANU 25-man ECL squad and is cup-tied for European competition. Give Jelavic is also cup-tied, this deal seems a tad short-sighted. .Jelavic was cup tied to the group stages but is eligible for knock out stages. as far as i can remember

He will either be staying in the EPL (as Wegner admitted it will be easier for him to keep an aye on whilst there) or to Spain (as its his native language) . the 2 reported clubs at the top of the chase for him are Bolton and Valencia
Couldnt really see it happening, him coming to Ibrox in any case . . but this puts it to bed. . hopefully.

Kriss Commons will sign a bosman in next 48 hours, furthermore if Rangers recieve the 10% sell-on clause for Charlie Adam sale they will make sign him during the window. (They may still do this even if Charlie stays)
They are seriously considering taking the mars bar superstar goalscorer Boydie back but as they have only £15,000 p, w wages available the £400,000 received for Miller Sale will be required to subsidise the £25,000 p, w wages that Boydie receives and Middlesborough want a 100% wage contribution from the Queens XI. One solution is Boyd taking a pay cut but then why did he leave in the 1st place? Money was the motivational factor can't have been ambition playing in the Championship.
That leaves one other question, where do we get funds for Commons wages?
I won't claim that I am best mates with Walter, the board or Martin no got a Brain Bain just wait and see what materialises for yourselves
