Our manager mark warburton said in a newspaper yesterday that he's modelled his 4-3-3 system on barcelona's attacking set-up and he studies barca's front 3 of messi, suarez and neymar as he believes they are by far the best team on the planet and play the way football should be played so here comes my question I want to throw out there to all bears, from our front 3 of o'halloran, miller, mckay who is most like who in the Barcelona front 3 in their style of play? Imo on style of play in their role in the front 3 I'd say mckay/ messi, miller/ suarez and o'halloran/ neymar, looking forward to seeing all your opinions and permutations on here.

25 Feb 2016 23:59:46
Rofl mate. Made my day.

26 Feb 2016 06:36:26
Hahahaha pml.

26 Feb 2016 08:00:58
As long as our players don't dive and roll about acting as if their hurt when there not even touched I'll be happy.

26 Feb 2016 06:48:33
Does Miller bite players?

26 Feb 2016 09:07:51
No chance of diving and rolling on these plastic pitches Cee. lol.

26 Feb 2016 09:23:34
Come on lads, it's just a bit of fun. I'd have to agree with your permutation 15. Though I would like to add, I would swap any of our front 3 for ANY of their front 3!

26 Feb 2016 09:54:09
None are like Barcelona that's why they play for us.

26 Feb 2016 10:06:27
How stupid of me to post something like this, people just can't see it for what it is, they can't get the jist of it, way over their heeds! Pieandbovril, you're on the same wavelength as me buddy! You see it for what it is my friend.

26 Feb 2016 11:51:12
A wind up?

26 Feb 2016 12:02:45
Absolute nutter! And, do you not know that most of us know who our manager is?
Tommy.

26 Feb 2016 16:21:24
warburtonthefifteenth - sorry you have obviously banged yer heid on something, hope it gets better soon!

25 Feb 2016 19:04:39
Bigotry has nothing to do with football it is a load of crap, but back to football davie cooper would have been 60 today, still heartbreaking to think of losing the great man so young gazza and laudrup may have been great but to me davie cooper was the greatest of them all the man loved the club have everything stayed when the we were not up to his standard he never moaned in the paper he was too good for that side of the early 80's he loved the club, what would we do to have someone with half of his talent. Coops you will always be the legend the player I always looked out for the one that people of a certain age always wanted to be when we were kids I'm so glad you never seen what happened to our club but we sure miss the man and the legend and hero.

25 Feb 2016 19:54:02
One of the greatest players I have ever seen. A magician with the ball.

26 Feb 2016 08:11:10
The GENIUS that was, DAVIE COOPER, the only player I wanted to be as a kid, and that was above the great George Best, I remember as if it was yesterday coming up to stand on route in silence as the courtege made its way to the church, I CRIED.

26 Feb 2016 08:13:26
i was at the games and replays davie played for clydebank against gers in the cup he ripped us apart.

26 Feb 2016 09:55:06
It's a kind of magic.

26 Feb 2016 12:05:19
Poetry in motion, god bless Davie, and thank you, legend
Tommy.

26 Feb 2016 19:00:16
Managed to convince 2 non Rangers supporters to come with me and a few mate's to a low key European match Rangers v Ives Tampere. Complete masterclass by cooper, ted mcminn and wee fleck playing great as well but cooper tied their full team in knots. My hero and 1 of the few who deserves to be called LEGEND.

26 Feb 2016 23:53:39
Nothing but great, treasured memories of the late, great davie cooper over the years of supporting rangers, coop was a home bird and in his words from the heart 'he played for the team he loved', he could've played anywhere and even the great ruud gullitt said as much to coop in an interview on scotsport that I can remember watching as if it was yesterday, yes you were a left footed magician coop who to this day and for evermore are very sadly missed, taken from this world far too soon, RIP and god bless the immortal davie cooper! An absolute genius!

26 Feb 2016 21:34:54
DC was doing the tricks they're all still trying to do years ago step overs, flicks looking the other way you name plus to go through to international tournaments who had the bottle to sink the crucial pen just a class act as ruud hullit maintains to this day.

25 Feb 2016 19:02:49
For all those asking what happened to Tarik Fagrach, the striker from Feyenoord. He is training with Excelsior in Rotterdam. Don't know whether he has signed for Rangers and he's been punted out on loan till end of season or whether he has signed for Excelsior over here.

26 Feb 2016 09:56:19
People on here said his attitude was shocking and he got punted.

25 Feb 2016 17:27:21
I agree with poster luigi. singing the rebel songs is dinossaur stuff . after a few bevvies I guess it brings the worst (or best ) out in many fans. whatever happened to follow follow etc. simply the best is magic but please please let's bring a bit of class to our club that's been missing since white and his gang and yes gazza is a legend but let's create a couple more like him.

25 Feb 2016 19:07:54
Just to clarify. They are not rebel songs. Can l also clarify, yes we should stop singing songs that wil continually get our wonderful club into so much bother.

25 Feb 2016 20:19:23
what are they then Henderson and what does the pope have to do wi our club.

25 Feb 2016 20:44:16
The pope is one of our behind the scenes investors :) .

25 Feb 2016 21:22:37
Deecee. Rebel songs are Irish republican or nationalist songs. I doubt many Rangers fans will be singing them, unless of course they are Irish republicans or Irish nationalists.

As long as they support Rangers, I couldn't care less.

25 Feb 2016 21:58:51
I don't descriminate either.
Irish Republicans and Nationalists are all welcome at Ibrox. But nae rebel songs allowed!

26 Feb 2016 09:58:42
Talking about songs at ibrox I wish we would stop playing simply the best, other fans might not agree with me but I wish it was gone.

25 Feb 2016 15:41:09
was at the gazza night at the magnum, pure magic paying homage to a living legend gazza.
Press mischief making as usual 1000 gers fans singing along to "simply the best" pure gold.
wee Tam Millar, andy goram gary little (comedian) , great stories from all concerned gazza said he wished he had never left the gers.
No trouble no arrests the place was jumping, so good I`m going to see him again at sands centre Carlisle in march.

25 Feb 2016 16:11:52
According to the DR it was a Sectarian Disgrace of a night. { I wonder who was there? }.

25 Feb 2016 16:12:25
Absolute rubbish- anyone with a pair of ears can hear the added sectarian lines that were added by parts of the audience.

All this chip on the shoulder crap about the media inventing it is possibly the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life. They don't need to, the morons in our support keep doing it no matter how much damage it does the club the purport to love.

It is time the majority of fans who don't do it start speaking up or this crap will be the end of the club or at least ensure a slow death.

We can either reclaim the club from these morons or let them ruin it- we are missing out on a whole generation of new fans because most people in society have the intelligence to see this stuff for what it is- a form of racism. If I had a kid I wouldn't take them to ibrox to potentially sit next to a complete biggot. That saddens me to say that, it truly does.

Just wait to see how we UEFA deal with this when we get back to European football- first fines, then closed door games and eventually they will ban us. Sorry to say but rightly so.

The club has tried, but there is only so much they can do. As fans we could do something but for a variety of reasons don't.

Any "fan" who takes part, turns a blind eye or encourages this nonsense is a **** bag in my eyes. Not a true fan of the club as no true fan would continue to do things which damage the club- they are simply using the club as a platform for their pathetic, narrow minded views. Half the time they don't even understand the events they are signing about.

Please editor, don't ban any responses- it would be good to name and shame anyone on this site who thinks these songs are still acceptable.

25 Feb 2016 17:32:49
Well said luigi, the sectarian add ons etc. are an embarrassment and pathetic tbh.

25 Feb 2016 17:47:58
Spot on Luigi. What was Gazza thinking with his air flute performance and joining in singing STB and TBB. In this day and age everything is caught on camera and sadly shows that nowadays it's far more of a majority not a minority. The Bears Den Forum is shocking nowadays who ever edits it is part of the problem, it has become a hate fest.

25 Feb 2016 19:50:55
You get disagrees on the posts yet they can't add why they are disagreeing! ( I take it's the so called " Die Hards with there Battle Fever on)

25 Feb 2016 22:23:34
Brilliant press making mischief really? if u where there surely u heard the nonsense either that or your choosing to ignore as if it didn't happen.

26 Feb 2016 10:28:46
Maybe the best approach would be the next time it happens at ibrox the majority of fans could start to boo until it stops, that is just a thought.

26 Feb 2016 12:09:58
Well said Luigi,

26 Feb 2016 12:44:17
You want the tomato seeds as well?

26 Feb 2016 17:41:29
Thanks guys for supportive comments but I find it really worrying that so many posters have clicked disagree- I thought it was a determined minority but perhaps not.

Really wish editors would put up the comments from those that disagree- is it a case of heads in sand or outright bigotry? Either way SHAME on you.

{Ed001's Note - I have not deleted any disagrees, people like Stuzo have been removed for backing the singing of bigoted songs in the past, so they are probably not willing to say anything now.}

27 Feb 2016 10:22:22
Just to mention, simply the best is a great song and while gazza is not the sharpest tool in the box, except with a ball at his feet, don't see why you would have a problem with him singing it,

25 Feb 2016 13:54:30
Hibs have a stronger squad than us and are in great form er oops wait.

In all honesty, except from when they play us, I couldn't give a FF what they do. More interested in the manky mob. With them looking likely to lose one of their, if not their very, best players. They will have to spend big in the closed season, if we get the class of player I hope and expect for next year.

25 Feb 2016 14:30:49
Is that going to be the same class of player you expected to be brought in in the last transfer window too? That didn't really happen rangers time of attracting class players are gone along with the money? There's a 6-10 million hole every season so don't expect loads of class signings as it ain't going to happen.

25 Feb 2016 15:36:27
I'll be surprised if we don't spend £5 million or close. Next year with SPL the deficit will be much less.

25 Feb 2016 22:26:38
I don't think we will be spending that amount of money in our 1st year back mate! money is needed to be spent more quality required all the same!

27 Feb 2016 06:52:48
just read andy goram suggesting king should give warbs 20mil to bring in 5 class players if we get promoted, wage
structure etc will determine who we bring in, can`t see it happening as he has windass and crooks lined up. Let`s just see what the manager does with a reasonable budget, I trust the manager, here`s hoping.

25 Feb 2016 13:09:31
What a choice for Celtic. Listen to their fans and get Stubbs or keep Deila. Win, win for us next season, a season that could see Dundee Utd relegated or Hibs remaining where they are. Times are good and getting better.

25 Feb 2016 13:27:58
Stubbs could be a thorn in our flesh for some time yet, if he can make even a apparently Rangers supporting kid turn his back on us and join them then he obviously has a strong influence over young players, add at to his hatred of Rangers he could be a danger to our hopes,

25 Feb 2016 17:30:47
I don't see how he can be a thorn in our side at all we will go on and win the league and I believe they will blow the play offs and spend another year at championship level! its been cracking me up all this talk hibs have been playing this great football well I've only saw them against us and they have done nothing that really worried me that they would win the league! Hibs will always be stuck with the tag of bottle merchants because they constantly blow it when it matters cup finals and play off etc!

25 Feb 2016 23:35:58
His team has got to win though and beat teams like Morton at home.

25 Feb 2016 21:11:12
stubb did not turn allans head it was money and promises he has the money but the promises have not been kept yhe only other thing he has is skelfs of the bench.

25 Feb 2016 11:03:30
I see on paper talk on sky sports that arsenal are away to let arteta leave at end of season would like to see rangers make a move and sign him. Any1 else feel the same?

25 Feb 2016 11:13:59
Ya if he took about 40grand a week pay cut.

25 Feb 2016 12:45:56
It was mentioned in papers he may be considering retirement and possibly take a coaching role with pep guardian apparently willing to offer a job?

25 Feb 2016 12:57:08
Why not Messi mate?

25 Feb 2016 16:17:33
He ain't getting any younger and i think he would still do a job for us.

25 Feb 2016 10:44:34
Just read about wee Ronny talking up plastic pitches and even saying he wouldn't mind one at CP. Wonder if it's just because MW thinks differently (backed up by scientific evidence I might add) . I think MW is already getting under the wee man's skin and we are not even in the same league yet!
Then when I read the wee man compare Forrest to Messi I nearly choked on my cornflakes!
Taxi for Delia.

25 Feb 2016 11:28:16
The Celtic Board should listen to him and give him his plastic pitch. I'm beginning to understand why they're doing so badly, their squad with 20 midfeilders and unhappy fans.

25 Feb 2016 11:31:06
tradition and history tell us that neither side will ever agree on anything, it's just like politics, the main parties never agree publicly as it would harm their reputation, and Deila's comments are no different, the only surprise to me was that he took so long to think of what to say. He would love to put a plastic pitch on Parkhead? bollocks, he's talking s**te! but hope he stays there because he must be their worst manager since John Barnes.

25 Feb 2016 12:01:32
If Delia has compared Forrest to Messi then the man has well and truly lost the plot. As for his comments on artificial surfaces, well although I disagree with Warbs on the subject - and I see he has just sent another young player on loan to a club with a plastic pitch - I think Delia is only trying to curry favour with his own fans for having a pop at us and this reeks of desperation.

25 Feb 2016 13:09:31
Is Wee David Cooper Templeton Still Injured?

25 Feb 2016 17:37:26
Watched warbs press conference and he says the only injury is waggy.

25 Feb 2016 09:35:18
Well I must say bears I was worried about a close title run in with hibs but they have well and truly blew it now, a cannot see how we could possibly not win this league. 8 points is plenty of breathing space.

Would not b surprised if hibs struggle at the wknd as well off the back of this result. they are due a run of poor form so let's hope it has arrived at the worst possible time for them.

Premiership bound for the bears. Look out manky mob were coming to get you!

25 Feb 2016 14:15:10
Agree and we can surely only get better after our recent form.

Stubbs was giving it the big man saying they can fight on all fronts and the pressure is not getting to them. well yesterday seeing the chances they missed seems to me there is abit of pressure building.

25 Feb 2016 09:29:02
Can the mighty Mortons complete the double over the other green and white mob?

I certainly hope so.

26 Feb 2016 04:13:24
Well they did it a couple of season ago.

25 Feb 2016 09:03:45
Good morning fellow bears! Can't wait to get into work for a laugh lol I work with a few Morton supporters, they'll b happy as Larry, great result for them first and foremost, especially for a playoff place, but even better result for us, and our push for promotion, the leagues won now, nothing's ever won until it's won, but it's over now, 8 points clear and 11 games to go, we'll not drop 8 points and Hibs won't win every game from now on in, Celtic fans keep telling me they can't wait till we're up, but this season they see what everybody else is seeing, and they know we're coming to get them, while their falling back the way, to come and meet us in our travels, they don't want us up, I also hope what am hearing as well in terms of Stubbs going to Celtic is true, cause we've got the better of him, we're under his skin in a BIG way, every single time he gets interviewed Rangers get mentioned, and it's him that mentions us! we've got to him, so I'd love to see him as the new Celtic manager next year, just means we'll be more than ready for them next season!

25 Feb 2016 08:59:16
Just as I thought. Hibs were being over-hyped, including by some who post on this site. Their bottle went again last night. So much for their treble ambitions! Enjoy the play-offs.

25 Feb 2016 10:05:33
Couldn't have said truer words DOIGER! They know who they are and so do we, 'ye men of little faith' in glasgow rangers and 'the magic hat'

27 Feb 2016 10:29:23
Warbs, I would estimate more than 90% on here support Rangers, not just you and your fauning gushing romanticism, we know who they are? Do you mean the guys who give Rangers half their life and a fortune in money, who say when they see something they don't agree with?
