A goal which looked suspiciously offside , when the ball was played to Healy there were 3 or 4 Rangers players clearly offside in the middle of the penalty box

Watch it back as green specs Burley says Healy is clearly onside when Foster plays the ball to him and the four Rangers players in the box are behind Healy when he plays the ball. Learn the offside rule!

with only one win in four old firm games this season the only one that is deluded is you. please give it a rest as you making me yawn.

That doesn't change anything we are still in the title race when we win our 2 games in hand we will be 2 points behind! Our best is still yet to come you have already hit your peak.

"As a Rangers fan I would happily sacrifice the SPL to win the Europa League would others be the same?"

IF we were to win the Europa League, it would go down in Scottish history alongside the feat of Jock Stein et al in 1967.

I would personally like the Rangers to win every competition entered (as we did in 1929) but I think that's unreasonable. I would also like us to top the league winning every game on the way (we're the only team in the world to have done that) but I think that's also unreasonable these days.

I think the chances of us winning the SPL or the Europa are about the same. 50/ 50? Maybe less.

But I never stop believing. And neither should any of you Bears.

50/ 50 for winning the SPL and the Europa? Lol.
For a start you are 40/ 1 in Ladbrokes for the Europa and an outside punt for the SPL.

Re: "{Ed001's Note - I don't, but the Europa League makes very little money, sometimes it can even end up being a small loss.}

Don't quote me on this, but I heard it may be as much/ little as 300k per round. Added to this the profit from each home game it may/ may not add up.

Feel free to delete as applicable. .

Daviet {Ed001's note - that is round about the right amount, but travel expenses have to be taken from that etc.}

Was watching the Rangers game last night , what a p#sh poor game , both teams were absolutely red rotten , but still yous managed to sneak through with a goal which looked suspiciously offside , when the ball was played to Healy there were 3 or 4 Rangers players clearly offside in the middle of the penalty box , but the draw has been kind to yous as usual , even so its another 2 hard games to add to your already overloaded schedule , there are a lot of very good teams left in the tournament , such as , Man City , Liverpool , Villareal , Ajax , Dynamo Kiev and your old foes Zenit so don't think you'll be winning it , your extra excersions will only help Celtic in their quest for the treble , Ally McCoist is up against it next season , an already poor team and he won't be able to do much about it , the poor man hasn't a pot to p#ss in

The usual crap from a deluded tim! The 4 players in the middle might have been offside when the ball was played to Healy but the ball was going to healy wasnt it? nowhere near the guys in the middle then when Healy brilliantly swept the ball across 3 players were miles onside. You don't have to be against referees when you watch our team just when you watch your own team.Celtic fans are getting worse eh? even complaining about refereeing decisions in our games now! WATP.

Here is one happy Celtic fan , I am absolutely delighted that Rangers got through against Sporting , a bit of extra time would have been a bonus , but not to worry the 2 extra games will take its toll on your limited squad , you have more chance of smelling rocking horse dung than you have of winning the Europa League , and will struggle amid fixture conjestion in the domestic games , keep up the good work lads , get as many co-efficient points as you can , it will boost Celtic's chances in the champions league next season , cheers lads .

Have they taken away ties out of European games for Celtic now?? Thats the only way you could progress in europe when was the last Celtic made it beyond October in Europe never mind Christamas?

Re: "one happy Celtic fan"

Good.

I too am glad that we are fighting on all fronts. Unlike some teams, we will fight 'til the day is done.

I note, with interest that the Rangers made you happy. We do try to help out those less fortunate than us.

Over and out.

Re : {Editor's Note: I noticed a large team of maintenance personnel arriving at the Football Rumours HQ earlier - no doubt it will return to a pleasing level of niftiness later today.}

So, reading between the lines, Fat Alex has arrived with a box of spanners and a "internet for idiots" book. lol

Right so lets gauge opinion on here. I know this is a long shot but its more out of interest.
