I heard MW was unhappy about letting McGregor sign for a title rival but after Queen of the South pulled out he was happy for him to sign for Hibs!

This is where the biscuit tin mentality gets yae. The manky mobs fans have got to see that their board has been shafting them for years. spend peanuts and you get monkeys. I hope we get them in the cup this year. They will be shiting themselves at the thought of it. Watp

Bluebear stevie watch the downsizing over in the east end, timplotion, they will be looking for more player in the scot Alan bracket,as that's all they can afford IMO,thus giving us an excel ant chance of competing with them next season.

Agree0 Disagree2

25 Aug 2015 22:00:44
Seriously though Sutton embarrassing himself big time on the telly now ,shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a microphone

Believable8 Unbelievable3

25 Aug 2015 22:30:59
He called the 3rd official an absolute idiot twice hehe. Oh he was fuming. They he was implying that the ref was crooked because of the disallowed goal. He gave me a good laugh tonight at least. He's actually a good commentator and says it how he sees it so you canny fault him too much. He is always going to be bias for septic understandably.

Agree1 Disagree4

25 Aug 2015 23:07:46
Blue bear stevie no disrespect mate but the mans a fool, how anybody can defend his comments on the kneeing incident I'll never know. There is bias and there is just plain stupid, I'm afraid big Chris falls into the latter category.

Agree1 Disagree2

25 Aug 2015 23:22:41
A hope DH88 hasn't booked any time off work for the champions league group stage games, he seemed pretty sure they would be there. Don't suppose we'll see him for a while now to ask. Shame that

things even more rosy down govan way methinks. Scotland needs a team who can actually reach the group stages and not fail fail at every opportunity.
winning the league every year with no competition and getting humped just like tonight ain't good enuff . in the next few years we will be that team. sorry sceptic but you had yir chance and failed failed. miserably. deecee

Believable3 Unbelievable2

25 Aug 2015 22:27:33
It goes to show the poor state of Scottish football when the team that is head and shoulders above every other team can't make it through to the group stages. Unfortunately it will be several years until we will be in the position that Celtic are in without serious investment. They are miles ahead of us both on and off the pitch.

Haha Allan

Agree3 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 20:44:08
Certainly Celtic can feel hard done by with the disallowed goal but replays of the incident where Leigh Griffiths was booked for knocking Anton Tinnerholm over as he wasted time show that the Scot put his knee in his opponent's groin. That could have been a red card.
Shocking behaviour from such a quality international player!
WATP

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 20:45:11
Griffiths should have been sent off for violent conduct.

Celtic goal should have counted - but saying that they are pish and VVD is SPL class, so he is!

25 Aug 2015 20:50:00
I'll be honest celtic's goal should have stood but Griffiths should have been sent off. Anyway mon malmo finish the job

he could be blind rolling drunk again could mr brown

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 21:10:05
It was pretty biased from Chris Sutton saying there was nothing in it he kneed the big guy in the balls. They can certainly feel hard done by with the goal especially after what Juventus were doing to them at Set pieces a few years back. But hey ho they've had they're luck in Europe usually in the form of reinstatement. Hell mend them as My Granny would say.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 21:35:35
Celtic most unfortunate, can hold their heads high.
HA HA HA HA HA!

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 21:40:45
Wonder if the Kerrydale accounting team will be on later. revised estimates guys,no CL cash, but you should still get 10 million for Van Djik. in rupees or lira maybe.oh dear. out played by a team that you were all slagging Rangers for losing to. Karma.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 21:46:46
Come on Dh88, fire in some shots at the referee, excuses about no competition in the league, how you are still the chumps and let us know how far you are going to get in the europa league mate. Fail fail- Tis the Celtic way.
WATP

25 Aug 2015 21:49:21
12 mill for VVD?What a lump man!Loowell better tidy that deal up quick style before somebody has a change a heart.
I think they done us proud as a nation though,at least they are still in Europe.I don't want to come across patronising by the way,I just want to ram it up their arse!!

Hahahahaha hohohohoho oh my sides!

Believable2 Unbelievable0

25 Aug 2015 20:11:12
It's a strange position I find myself in right now, I want Celtic to make it through due to it being the best for Scottish football and also gives other teams the hope of beating them to the title(like I said the hope) and at the sametime I want them to drop out. Opinions fellow bears?

Believable0 Unbelievable6

25 Aug 2015 20:32:15
I don't really bother what happens with then in Europe but the referee has really cheated them so far lol,van dijk should stick to defending aswell runs 40 yards and loses nearly every time, at least boughie scored goals.

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 20:34:22
Get them tae f#@k 10 million more in the bank of Ireland helps no other team in Scotland. 'Mon Malmo.

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 20:40:37
Well I hope they get stuffed them and all the other spfl sides have done nothing for the coefficiency, reason is they the are crap

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 20:47:16
Rafbob - they will still get Β£10m in the bank. That'll be the fee for Van Djik when they go crashing out.

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 21:00:14
That is their valuation of the lad, you can't expect anyone to pay asking price for a player who has won nothing other than the domestic title which wasn't exactly a task and when faced with supposed champions league football can't provide the goods?
WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 21:01:53
I like the crashing out bit though haha. Roll on Dh88 and the claims about doing well in the Europa league! Oh and the ref-bating! Lol
WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 21:12:11
That's the thing though it won't be 10 million in the bank immediately as that's not how Transfers usually work.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 21:42:39
Marathon bear that 10 million doesn't even cover there over draught

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 21:58:14
marathon bear

They were getting that Β£10m for Van Dyke whether they went through or not. I am glad they are out and don't have the chance to make even more money. They are an average team with a manager who has delusions of grandeur

Why do we pander to the Dhims who post on here? Yes it is a forum, but the likes of DH 88 are only on here to bump their gums, obsessed and terrified that when we return, their days of watlzing the league are over.I would never dream of posting on a septic forum, We are the only show in town, even the Dhims are obsessed by all things Rangers. Scotlands finest club, and the worlds most successful, it churns them up. To the septic fans BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID, Rangers are goona knock you off your perch. Oh Come on the Malmo.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

25 Aug 2015 19:13:27
There are currently 20 threads on page one in here about 5 of them relate to Darren McGregor, of the remaining 15 they are all started by Rangers fans and EIGHT of those opening posts mention Celtic or relate to Celtic players, now if over half of the time short of a news event you are writing about us I would suggest this place is becoming an old firm site, or, maybe this supposed obsession is more towards us than towards yourselves. But if you want to moan about Celtic interloping in a Rangers site by starting a thread about Celtic in a Rangers site then knock yourself out safetyman but it's fair to say the irony isn't lost on me and others.

Gaz out with the stats lol no offence mate but I've looked at your site Dh88 & Timalloy knows everyone by name. Yous even have a Seperate page on your own site for Rangers posts! I don't mind a bit of Banter when it's almost decent like yourself & Timalloy at times but DH88 deserves to be called out on his played out Sevco Patter. As I type this your teams just conceded. Fail Fail oh & F*ck the Coefficient! I won't pretend to want yous to qualify for the greater good I'm a realist I'd hate to see yous get 10 15 million & not invest it in your squad again.

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 16:48:00
I hate to go back to the Scott allan thing but if mcgregor wasn't in MW plans why was he not offered as part of the deal for allan when we were trying to sign him as we've let him go for nothing and he's joined Hibs anyway?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

25 Aug 2015 20:09:43

Luigi your the wrong person to speak about positivity u never have a good word to say. This season is different from last and the new manager obviously doesn't rate him as highly as he was last season. But really if u release a player because u think he's not good enough what right do u have to say he can't sign for someone?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

25 Aug 2015 10:32:22
Oh and a final point Dh88, who is top of he SPL just now? Hahahaha! Oh yes the same team that won the championship!

Believable5 Unbelievable6

25 Aug 2015 11:51:19
God that's a couple of minutes u'll never get back! Who cares who's top of the SPL just now! I seem to remember Aberdeen being ahead last year! How many points did the champs win by again? Europe is all we're thinkin about, the SPL can wait! Then we'll stroll it just like we did last year! And never u mind the SPL,u concentrate on getting out the 2nd tier at the 2nd time of askin! Hahahaha

Believable6 Unbelievable1

25 Aug 2015 08:14:07
Dh how come armstrong is all of a sudden good enough hmmm wonder why what if septic get put out tonight they r back to just spl players always been

Believable0 Unbelievable2

25 Aug 2015 09:45:11
No Scotty if we don't make the CL,which isn't going to happen by the way! Then we'll go into the Europa league! Still a massive step up from playin anyone u will face in the 2nd tier this season!! And armstrongs is good enough because he's playin well regularly for the countries biggest club,in Europe and at home!! Nobody u will play this year will be anywhere near Europa league or CL Level! That's a fact! And playin against Alloa and Dumbarton doesn't justify getting picked for a Scotland team who are on a high right now! That's another fact!

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed001's Note - so you judge a player purely because of who he is playing for? Odd one that. Though I did think Armstrong showed some good flashes in the first leg against Malmo, I wouldn't want to judge him on who he is playing for because the lad on the other flank was utter dog turd.}

25 Aug 2015 10:20:15
Seeing how we appear to be talking facts here. Lee Wallace, imho the only current Rangers player good enough for the national team, has already played 8 rimes for Scotland and is now playing the best football of his career FACT.

Dh88 I wi9sh your team all the best for tonight, I'm Rangers through and through, but if we ain't involved I'll shout for any Scottish team.

Agree0 Disagree3

25 Aug 2015 11:12:36
No I judge a player on the level of football he plays at mate.and I and obviously GS think that playin in Scotlands 2nd tier ain't good enough to get included in a Scotland team that's doing well and is in with a chance of euro qualification!

Agree2 Disagree4

{Ed001's Note - then you are a clueless buffoon, just like your posts suggest. Jamie Vardy, Charlie Austin and numerous others were recently playing non league football, does that mean they are crap? These kind of idiotic assessments are embarrassing. Judge a player by how he plays against the level of competition.}

25 Aug 2015 11:57:28
I'm a clueless buffoon! Did they get an England call up when they were playin non league?? No I'll think u'll find vardy had to wait til he played in the EPL for that to happen! And I'm the clueless Buffoon!! U name me one guy who's played in English non league football and been called up for England? That's probably the most idiotic comparison I've ever heard! Hahaha! So a guy has a crackin season in non league football and scores 100 goals, will he be called up? Like I said I've heard a few belters but that's the best yet! Haha and my assessment is embarssing!

Agree3 Disagree7

{Ed001's Note - you really are not very bright are you? You are saying they were crap purely because of where they played, I have just pointed out that is not true. Please just run along and play somewhere else with some other people who are as simple as you and let things sail over their head just as far as you do. Your posts are utter dog turd and you do nothing bar bore the pants off me.}

Agree2 Disagree2

25 Aug 2015 15:22:21
you have got to laugh you judge a player at the level he plays at yet no Charlie Adams in squad yet Charlie MULGREW can't get a game at the midden

Agree0 Disagree1

25 Aug 2015 15:33:01
DH88 whilst I understand the difficulties of "stepping up" if you are in a lower division to go onto do well at international level (and agree nobody non-league has played for England)I would hardly say we are non league.
However let's look at Steve Bull - a wolves player in the 3rd Division in England scored for England against (you guessed it) Scotland including your own Roy Aitken! It's not unheard of :)

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 19:34:42
DH88 says, quote 'Nobody u will play this year will be anywhere near Europa league or CL Level!' - I agree and it will still be true if we draw his team in a cup

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Aug 2015 06:58:18

Dh88 that's not my point septic fans say wallace don't get called up and u says it aswel because the league he plays in so how come players in the english premier league don't get called up before players in scotlands spl double standards yous guys have charlie mulhoo has been injured and gets called up its laughable

Believable3 Unbelievable3

25 Aug 2015 06:56:17
I know exactly what your point is pal! And it's garbage! Brown and mulgrew have been outstanding for Scotland! Craig Gordon is arguably our best keeper and griffiths and Armstrong have started the season really well! Both in the league and Europe! And my point is that our players will be playin CL football this season! The biggest club competition in world football!! Which is easily on a level with an EPL game! What game will Wallace play this year that comes close to that?? So I'll go back to the start and say your point is garbage!

Gordon strachan has earned the right to pick players he feels are good enough for Scotland and is doing a very good job imo, I think people need to realise that playing at the level rangers are playing at doesn't justify international football, the Scottish championship is a poor league with many clubs still part time, I can't see why playing that level of competition would merit a Scotland call up.

Cee Mulgrew was the best player on the park when we beat Ireland at Parkhead, as for Wallace I thought he was outstanding when you were in Division 3 and similarly up until the Petrofac final, from then till the 2 Motherwell games he played every bit as inconsistently as anyone at Ibrox and now on the back of half a dozen good games he's international class again? Behave yourselves, he was called a wage thief by some of you no more than a few months and about 7 games ago, is there any chance of the remotest bit of consistency from any of you?

Do it week in and week out till maybe October and then Strachan MIGHT have something to ponder but given that overall we can be quite happy with our progress and group standing to date I think we let him get on with it with the players who have got us this far.

Spark74 finally someone who talks sense! Scotlands 2nd tier is nowhere near good enough to justify getting into a winning, yeh that's right winning Scotland team!!

So if we play Celtic, and IF they get into the champions league, does that mean that every team who play them are playing at champions league level? No DH88 you're talking p#sh. That's why it doesn't matter what league wall e is playing in to know he is more than good enough to be in that Scotland team! Just a quick read through your own fan site shows you the doubles standards regarding mulgrew! You all slate him for Celtic but as soon as he keeps a rangers player out the Scotland set up he's good all of a sudden? Haha! Very good!

I am a Rangers Fan and a Scotland fan. I don't think Wallace is good enough for the current Scotland Squad. If the likes of Matt Philips who is ranked at Β£10 mill is struggling to get in then what chance does Wallace have. Strachan Has always picked well except from James Forrest. Wallace is not a better player than Andy Robertson

I don't slate him thejuanpacer I think he was a great buy and for the record we did play you, you didn't get one shot on target. Wallace has been good so far this season, he was as bad as everyone else at Ibrox all of last season and even as recently as late May or have you forgot that?

Gaz you could maybe have a point, but I sure lee knew he was bursting a gut while some of his fat teammates were only playing for the wages,so I for one don't hold it against him,it's hard enough trying to carry one or two passengers, but half a team cmon.

I agree billy but by his own high standards he was way short last season, his form arguably declined more than anyone last season given the rest of them didn't have much to decline from in the first place so he suffered more in what was a crap team but Div 3 and some of Div 1 he was great busting a gut all day and night. On 6 games this year does he merit a Scotland call? I'd say not yet.

Now with zelalem in squads getting quite big should loan a couple of young guys out. I think we can take 2 more in, Eustace till Jan pay as you play to give him a chance and an experienced, proven goal scorer. Must be some one out of contract that could do a job up front

Hearts won league last year with 3 players scoring 12 goals each. I don't think we need a striker as long as the goals are shared through the team.

Well I am going to agree with DH88. When Van Djik signs for Southampton he will automatically become a better player playing for a bigger club in a better league.

Darren McGregor apparently agreed terms with Hibs already. Gutted. Wished him all the best before but not to join that lot. Thought players moving to their rivals was against their policies. Surely he could do a job for prem team.
