see michael stewart bumping his gums again, at least willie miller is backing rangers at their attempt to get an unbiasd investigation, stewarts hatred of everything rangers is disgusting, he says hand the evidence to the spfl and they will do the right thing aye right, can't believe this guy actually thinks he is intelligent, at least sutton is only a moron but you know where his coat hangs.

25 Apr 2020 18:11:59
Truebluesotrue, quite simply michael stewart is a bitter, twisted, poltis of a man! Pay him no attention, as that's what this sewer rat wants.

25 Apr 2020 19:52:13
SGL, is that all you can do on this site, is criticize everyone. Just because we don't all agree with you! Everyone is different my friend so therefore have different opinions. Wether that's right or wrong is up for debate not criticism. Get a grip my man as we are all getting a bit bored of your moaning.

25 Apr 2020 21:32:40
As far as I know Michael Stewart doesn't read this page mate 🤣 coop wasn't bashing anyone on here, was just his opinion. If you need to see him speaking about someone positively just remember his many Lyndon dykes posts!

25 Apr 2020 21:36:07
The Stuck, don't know where that came. You can't speak for everybody on this site. You are entitled to your own opinion however replace WE with I. I personally don't mind what anybody posts and if I disagree I might reply with a counter argument or just agree/ shake my head. SGL is a dedicated Ger and poster with unoffensive opinions. Keep your powder dry Stuck.

25 Apr 2020 22:26:47
The stuck what are you on about? I'm being critical of michael stewart . Get a grip of yourself!

25 Apr 2020 22:29:35
TGBB, everyone one here is a dedicated Rangers fan/ supporter, that I agree with . I'm a positive person and can't be bothered with negativity and people trying to belittle others. Again, everyone is different.

25 Apr 2020 23:01:41
I'm having a go at michael stewart,
what are you on about the stuck? Why do you see my post about that a******e michael stewart belittling any rangers fan? Explain pal, i'm waiting! 🤔🤔.

25 Apr 2020 23:09:49
Not picking fight bears just thought it was a bit unfair on SGL. As far as everybody is a dedicated Gers fan on this site, disagree LOL, Buzz, Leon etc come on Bhoys where are you when we need you.

25 Apr 2020 23:18:55
Coops, there have been people on here saying exactly the same thing as Stewart said. I do believe he is anti rangers but if we have information then let's stop f%$#$£g about and get it on the table. Never mind 42 clubs having a vote or a meeting let's get it out and take some people down.

25 Apr 2020 23:54:43
SGL, don't bite my loyal friend. Michael Stewart is a relation of mine, so it's pretty hard to listen to negative criticism about him. I personally don't agree with everything he says and sometimes I do have a chuckle at some of his reports.

26 Apr 2020 01:14:06
My take is if we put it out there . it gives them a great chance to cover their tracks and gives them time to come up with every excuse under the sun.

26 Apr 2020 08:36:11
Molsgoals, if our evidence is as damning as we're led to believe, there would be no room for a cover up. The longer this goes on the less credible our information becomes, there must be a time limit for them to agree/ disagree to the request made by us, Aberdeen and Hearts, and, if they disagree, where does that leave us. You can be sure they will be canvassing their supporters behind the scenes as we speak.

26 Apr 2020 08:52:34
If you're going to spend time and energy defending that fud stewart then you're going to be a very busy man the stuck, he deliberately prints inaccurate and divisive statements to make himself look relevant, even the bbc censored him for crying out loud, and you turn on a Rangers man for saying what a lot of posters on here think, you'll be defending sutton next.

26 Apr 2020 09:04:21
Must admit, I like listening to Michael Stewart. don't think he's anti Rangers, he's a bit pro hearts but that's ok and he shoots from the hips a bit but he speaks as he sees it regardless of the consequences.

26 Apr 2020 10:56:25
Michael Stewart is bitter and twisted towards our club because after a trial he got turned away, as he was deemed not good enough, simple as that! Don't take this the wrong way The Stuck, because i honestly don't care if he's related to you or not. The main thing for me is he makes continual, very stupid untrue comments about the club i love and that's why i can't stand the slevering imbocile! Its rangers over him any day for me as he never has a good word to say about rangers. Sorry The Stuck, I make no apologies for my take on him, end of story mate!

26 Apr 2020 11:59:03
Well said SGL👏.

26 Apr 2020 12:11:28
SGL, get over it mate, your taking his comments far to seriously. By the sounds of it your taking life to seriously. Lighten up and chill out, lifes to short. If you haven't anything nice to say then don't say anything at all.

26 Apr 2020 12:33:14
So you think Stewart is a solid upstanding citizen with no axe to grind when it comes to Rangers, The Stuck? I agree 100% with Coops, the man is a bitter trialist who was shown the door by big Eck and as a result can't find anything good to say about us. Sewer rat sums it up for me 👍.

26 Apr 2020 13:17:28
Seeker, if you read my post properly then you'll know that I'm not in agreement with Michael Stewart all the time but on occasion I do have a chuckle to myself. It's the same as Sutton. I don't take them seriously, instead I just have a wee laugh.

26 Apr 2020 14:14:11
coop is right. a good footballer has to be a baseline intelligent one and he has proven time and time again he is not. sorry he is your relative man. sucks. but there it is. himself. irrefutable.

26 Apr 2020 14:28:02
The Stuck 👍.

26 Apr 2020 14:50:50
SEEKER 👍.

26 Apr 2020 22:02:21
Michael Stewart had sterling career with Manchester United Reserves.

27 Apr 2020 00:27:04
Nae luck the stuck, I'm related to a few proper twits myself, if it makes u feel any better 👍.

27 Apr 2020 08:42:12
Nobody likes us, everybody hates us. Why is that. because we are Rangers

27 Apr 2020 08:44:16
Truebluesotrue, i just read ms and his shyte in the newspaper, i say don't give this guy any time to annoy us, after all who was he? , the first guy to go on an unemployment scheme in footie i think, but he has never won a medal or gong in all his life as a professional football player, don't give people like him the time of day, a yts prog while unemployed, that's all he is known for, he got travel expenses right enough.

27 Apr 2020 08:48:44
Mick stewart, a pudit with no medals, lol.

25 Apr 2020 16:01:47
The corruption in Scottish football knows no bounds. It is rotten to the core. Rangers will never get to the bottom of this latest blatant attempt to 'crown' Celtic as champions while offering league reconstruction to appease the other teams. Perhaps we should tell the SFA/ SPFL to 'shove it where the sun doesn't shine', apply to join English League 2 and start from there. I'm sure the English teams, especially at that level, will love Rangers and our fantastic support, home and away. At the same time, the money our fans have been pouring into the coffers of the other Scottish clubs will dry up. No Old Firm matches, so Sky would certainly pull out (tough luck Celtic) . We'd progress through the leagues in 3 years ago into the EPL. Berwick Rangers have played in the Scottish leagues for years though geographically located in England, so why not? I'm really sick of all this corruption and greed from the dark side, especially with all this going on.

25 Apr 2020 19:02:33
Doiger if even it were possible to join English football we would need to go in at level 7.

26 Apr 2020 02:50:54
3 years doiger it took us 4 years to get back into the our own premier league, England has more layers than a Terry's chocolate orange.

26 Apr 2020 10:15:25
U r right iom, the championship in England notoriously hard to get out off.

26 Apr 2020 13:02:18
The one positive thing to come out of any move ( I doubt it would happen), would be, it would be less boring than the crap we currently watch up here, playing every team 4 times is so dull, it makes dishwater drinkable. If we did move away from Scottish Football, we would have to get rid of a lot of the baggage we have, i. e. the singing and sectarianism, otherwise we would be persona non- gratis.

26 Apr 2020 18:44:28
your right. trying to parachute new clubs into the spfl. secret 5 way agreements. rotten to the core i tell you. wait. do rangers not have a director on the board?

27 Apr 2020 00:29:04
Would take us at least 10 year to make premiership. Championship in england is an absolute lottery, to try and get promotion from.

27 Apr 2020 18:24:53
Herewego, at least we would have a chance to win something, as things stand we won't win nowt, too many people that kick with the wrong foot involved in scotland now, well this last eight year.

25 Apr 2020 11:06:10
Hi guys,

I'm getting a bit fed up wi this "independant" investigation stuff.

Pretty sure we are all aware this can never happen as the biggest majority are dedicated to the mhanks progress.

Looks to me Rangers need to put up or shut up wi the allegations of corruption in the SPFL or even wi the UEFA.

26 Apr 2020 09:42:22
so just fold? give in to the mass opinion organized by them? fact, truth or principal has no place in society. sounds exactly like them. not even a discussion of the concept NS.

26 Apr 2020 13:05:20
Don't think Gers should jus fold Eric mate, but looks to me Rangers are batting their heads against a brick wall .

The UEFA SPFL have the cash to spend on more cover up coruption etc than our club can afford to defend, cash is king unfortunaeptely for us Eric.

Plus they are riddled wi mhanks on all those boards.

25 Apr 2020 10:09:52
It's obvious to me we are not getting this independent review we need 3 member clubs out of 42 to instigate Which we will get, then IF The SPFL seem it competent! 29 other members must ratify it. can any of you see spfl deeming it competent?
It's time to stop the sabre rattling get one of our media platforms and get this evidence out there and force their hands
This Deloitte probe says vote in spam folder so it WAS sent but no impropriety found!
How have they came to that? it's been proven no vote was sent and rules state can't change once vote cast It's a farce.

25 Apr 2020 10:40:03
Blue blue sea needs 75 percent for it to happen. So won’t happen.

25 Apr 2020 13:52:57
Your right Blue Blue no way will Rangers benefit from a supposedly independant review.

25 Apr 2020 17:35:20
John25, if the s.f.a. Say we never got enough. Votes to call for an inquiry. Then it must be took higher up the chain of command surely, if not then that shows everybody how corrupt the sfa are, in our wee country, mr parks will take this further for sure, the cabel have had there day, time for our club to get serious mate.

25 Apr 2020 19:03:42
Paul not an sfa issue.

26 Apr 2020 11:51:10
file received and quarantined. in all conditions it counts except registering property in the US. its fraud. end of.

26 Apr 2020 12:35:45
John25, s.f.a. or s.f.p.l. Doesn't matter to me mate, they are one in the same to me pal.

25 Apr 2020 10:02:42
Supporters of a certain vintage

Do you remember the guys that used to come round the track at Ibrox wearing a theatre type food tray selling chewing gum and macaroon bars? "Get your gum and macaroon" I can still hear them cry. I can't think why macaroon bars were sold, recall them being unbranded and wrapped in plane cellophane. Don't think I've ever bought a macaroon bar in my life before or since.

Saturday morning cabin feaver.

25 Apr 2020 11:37:54
Bankie. I used to sell the chewing gum and macaroon bars but you had to sneak in to Ibrox with them as the guys with the food trays were the official vendors and if my memory serves me well they sold a brand of crisps called chipmunk!
I used to get in the ground early and then hopefully sell my macaroons etc quickly and then watch the game at the copeland road end, happy days.

25 Apr 2020 13:20:15
Guys, I remember it well, GET RA MACAROON BEARS AN A SPEARMINT CHEWING GUM, magic days indeed, I also remember the 'Pink Lint' Rolls and Ham Rolls sold outside the stadium in those days, happier and less stressful times folks, all the best.

25 Apr 2020 13:43:26
First times at Ibrox my old man would meet with his brothers in the enclosure I am sure they had a wee drink instead of spearmint or macaroon. I was on the small wall at the pitch ended up playing with the horrible grit and my hands came home black.
Best game for me 3-0 at Christmas Parlane Doddy and I think Derek Johnstone scored about 1974?
Great memories old man and his brothers mostly gone but never forgoten.

25 Apr 2020 14:18:46
Yes guys and as well as selling the macaroon bars and chewing gum you then had the guy selling the glasgow evening times. I was a wee boy with my dad and i used to laugh at the way the guy would shout evening times, when he was trying to sell them. Those were the days! 👍.

25 Apr 2020 16:19:23
Eefishul macaroon bars.

25 Apr 2020 17:32:09
When i was young there was a guy who sold sugar puffs in a poke and called it popcorn.

25 Apr 2020 17:33:27
Yeah remember that. The macaroon bars also sold out of soggy cardboard boxes in the pouring rain!
Those were the days.

26 Apr 2020 09:40:21
Should have mentioned my days selling the times at ibrox was around 1966/ 67,

26 Apr 2020 09:41:44
Bankie, i should also have mentioned that i used to look for a capable guy to give me a lift over the turnstyle, ohhh, were have those days long gone.

26 Apr 2020 11:50:15
Bankie, yip i remember, quite easily, when i was a nipper maybe 10 or 11ish, i had to leave our games a few minuets earlier, just to collect my papers and get selling, times citizen final, it was a pinkish coloured paper, with all the results in it, always sold a good bundle of papers, first to the van was first to get selling, the auld guy that brought me my papers was delivering to me in an auld tames van, with the evening times logo all over the van, can anybody remember, it was always me, and a couple of friends that sold these papers at ibrox, that was our punch line, times citezean final, final scores, from all the grounds, papers were printed in albion st glasgows times offices.

26 Apr 2020 12:34:14
Macaroon bars, spearmint chewing gum.

25 Apr 2020 07:59:40
Was clearing out my attic the other day and came across a box with all my old Rangers tops in going right back to my very first rangers top which was the plain royal blue umbro one with the CR Smith sponsor from 1985 and going through all the tops and reminiscing of the teams and memories of the time of each top which got me to thinking what's peoples thoughts on their favorite 3 away or 3rd kits of the last 30 years ( no home tops please)
the ones that brought back good memories for me are

1. 97/98 Umbro, black and grey striped shirt with blue pin stripe, black shorts, grey socks, Carling sponsor, this personally is my all time favourite top even better than any rangers home or change top.
2. 2. 97/98 Nike, black and white striped fade shirt, black shorts, white socks, Mcewans Lager sponsor.
3. 92/93 Adidas, white shirt with red shoulder stripes, blue shorts, Red socks Mcewans Lager sponsor.

Mentions go to the tops:

93/94 Adidas orange and navy striped top, navy shorts, navy socks, Mcewans Lager sponsor.
96/97 Adidas white top with red right sleeve, red shorts, white socks, Mcewans lager sponsor.
2011 red and white striped top, blue shorts, red socks, tenners sponsor think we had an almost identical kit like this around 2004 as well with carling sponsor.

Think the sponsor plays a big part in how the top looks as well as from seeing some of the foreign tops some sponsor branding just doesn't seem to fit with the tops wither that be because of the colour or design of the top ot the sponsors logo design, colour or size.

25 Apr 2020 09:18:49
Aye ready, great memories about the strips. It takes you back to the good old days and hopefully they will comeback! The last nine years really have been tough after Mr Murray sold us down the river! ✌️🇬🇧.

25 Apr 2020 09:46:49
Good post Aye Ready, to be honest I can’t recall some of the tops in your list although they do sound great.

25 Apr 2020 14:23:27
I can remember the excitement when the new rangers home kit was coming out in the rangers shop at the stadium. I can remember a midnight home kit sale at the rangers shop at the stadium, where mark hateley was present and the first we guy in the pre order queue, got a mark hateley signed ball as well as a photo of the occasion. It was a nike kit and we also got handed pies while waiting in the queue at midnight.
Brilliant days/ nights and everyone was happy and excited.
