The football is still rubbish and people aren't going to part with their hard earned cash. Things only slightly better under McCall but it's still awful

Bigwull
I know exactly what you mean as I started going back after Dave King and the three bears took over but I can't say I've enjoyed it just not the same, and if I'm honest sort of miss the whole weekend with the family and kids their is loads more out there other than football it's really weird saying this after going for all those years!

Agree3 Disagree0

26 Apr 2015 01:40:10
Bongo its fairly obvious your not enjoying it cause the team are not playing well if mccoist had taken us down the same route as hearts, youngsters and experienced players combined we woould be playing good football like hearts, but that day has gone, just try to hang on in yhere mate,we will eventually be back competing at the top league, and in europe, might take another 2 or 3 seasons, but we will be back.

Just back from game and those so called supporters who booed the captain should hold they're heads in shame your a disgrace

Believable5 Unbelievable7

25 Apr 2015 19:49:29
Really? Think they are entitled to boo a guy who thinks he's bigger than the team, and won't do the decent thing and drop whatever must-play contract he has and let the team move on. and he's a captain in name only, hasn't shown an example to the team all season.Fans are entitled to boo,as long as that's all they do,and it might make him realise that his time is up. not only did,as I said in previous post, but highest paid one.

Agree5 Disagree4

25 Apr 2015 19:57:28
Totally agree made me so sad today thought we were better than that poor show supporters .let's get behind the team and captain for one last push to the premier league

Agree2 Disagree3

25 Apr 2015 20:26:37
What's a disgrace is McCulloch getting picked continually when it's clear he is a liability. The booing was more in frustration about the fact no matter how bad he plays he never gets dropped. Makes u wonder if the rumours about his contract are true. If it is then that's a disgrace

Agree3 Disagree2

25 Apr 2015 20:42:55
Really not sure McCall is the we man to take us forward. He keeps playing McCulloch when it's clear to everyone he is a liability. Also how can he possibly think Crawford is a right back? He is awful and if McCall is relying on him then we won't go up. Really poor performance again from the team and think we will be lucky to get out of the league. Out passed by Falkirk today and very lucky to get a point

Agree2 Disagree1

25 Apr 2015 22:46:22
Stewie G,you say stuart mccall may not in your opinion be the manager to take rangers forward, well who do you reckon is?

Agree0 Disagree9

25 Apr 2015 23:01:03
Lani mcculloch won't stand down, not while he is getting 18 grand a week for being in the team.his brain is telling his body he is past it completly imho.but his bank balance is telling him he is doing it for his own good,if he was to think for the good of the team he would retire,as he is losing all credibility imho.

Agree2 Disagree2

25 Apr 2015 22:42:19
As per usual I was at the game today and was disgusted by a minority of our supporters who booed big jig today, its always been an unwritten rule that true 'gers fans never boo their own,big jig was at fault for falkirk's 2nd goal today,I've never booed a rangers player and never will,in the copland road today where I sit all the true, majority rangers fans drowned out the minority of 'gers fans who were booing, this is not the way to treat a rangers captain and one of our own!

Agree2 Disagree9

25 Apr 2015 23:22:04
It's the players that should hold their head in shame by the total amount of points dropped since we've been taken over, and Captain Calamity AKA Mr Undroppable should do the descent thing and tell The manager to drop him from his water tight clause and before you right in I never booed him but I sure a Hell gave him and others pelters as for the manager being unhappy about him being booed when was the last time he paid to watch a game and he should have taken him off he was rank rotten and static!

Agree6 Disagree1

25 Apr 2015 23:30:05
I just think not much has changed since he took over we are still poor and he continually plays players out of position. Crawford at right back! McCulloch centre half!

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Apr 2015 16:35:19
Lani I agree with you but we are rangers we don't boo our own and never should, jig is done we all know that but we still have to back him and the team

Agree0 Disagree1

26 Apr 2015 17:26:04
Spring if we all know it then mccoll has to see it,but the most important point being mcculloch must know he is too old to be playing for a club as big as ours, maybe he should have went over to america two seasons ago looking for his last big pay day, ooops wait a minite he gets his big pay day every month,,why would he need to move on ,he knows he is far far far too slow, but there again he doesn't really need to look for that last big pay day,as he gets ver near a million pound a year for trying to keep up with young strikers,i think I will look for a job like that, lol

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2015 18:25:26
Looks like it's over. We're not good enough and the deed is done. We're playing in the same league next season and the term catastrophe doesn't come close. Can't believe it.

Believable3 Unbelievable2

25 Apr 2015 19:03:20
So what if we don't go up this year?

We have allowed more youth players to get bedded in and starting to see more attractive football being played.

Also many bad signings are at the end of their contracts.

The Ally years will not be changed overnight.

But there is good potential within our youth squad.

One year may make all the difference?

25 Apr 2015 20:44:10
Not been good enough all season and it's disappointing to see McCall falling into similar traits as the previous 2 managers. Players being played out of position and bad players continually playing no matter how bad they play

Agree1 Disagree1

25 Apr 2015 23:03:02
Stewie mcculloch and zaluskas are way past it .get the youngsters in now .before its too late.

Message to Stu. if you don't want Jig booed, DROP HIM!.yes, he wasn't alone, but Pique would look inept trying to cover for Jig's lack of pace. agree totally about Shiels. Mystifying. and Miller?. same. Falkirk players closing us down so tight they were inside rangers players shirts. Shameful we can't match that level of fitness and commitment.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

25 Apr 2015 23:08:12
Lani if we don't drop the dead wood for the play offs we won't go up,the qots gaffer and any other good manager knows they let rangers come forward then they launch the long ball and yhere young strikers run past mcculloch and zal and score, ide drop them both and bell, giving us a better chance of promotion imho.

Agree3 Disagree0

25 Apr 2015 23:30:45
Ide also drop miller, and play clarkas he still has a full pair of lungs, unlike auld kenny.

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Apr 2015 17:12:45
Wait for all the people blaming McCulloch, yet law, Murdoch, Wallace are defensively inept.

Mcculloch back is mince yes but when your slow you need help from the pacey players around you.

Dean shiels has been the best player since stu McCall came in and yet again he was dropped.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

25 Apr 2015 17:34:45
Totally agree mate. But when McCulloch was brought down at the half way line before the second goal he should have got up and atleast try to get back. He just sat therebwith his hands in the air. I still think it was harsh booing him today tho. My opinion.

Agree1 Disagree1

25 Apr 2015 17:34:51
It's all out rfc hands now. The Hibeeees need an away win, whilst rfc face the runaway Champions. Do yous fancy playing QOS who trounced rfc last time???.

25 Apr 2015 17:53:48
Can't beat Falkirk at home therefore no chance of beating Hearts at Tyne castle. Third place and 6 games ahead. They better shape up If they want promotion.

Agree0 Disagree2

25 Apr 2015 18:42:13
Opinions are what the game is all about, so you are saying that because McCulloch is hiss poor we should play someone to cover his ass. Waken up, yes the team is a unit pulling for each other but passengers are not welcome. He should be doing a bit of weeding with Ally. These 'Rangers' men are becoming very expensive and the sooner the young team get a go from the start of a season the better. Let's not kid ourselves, in our current state we will be an embarrassment in the top league next season, so why don't we tell the bulk of squad to sign up for gardener's world, NOW.

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Apr 2015 20:12:45
macullochs only crime is he is to old and does not know when to go the booing is not everyones cup of tea but fans pay there money and are entitled to show there displeasure when davie weir was playng he was probably slower than maculloch but marshalled the defence to suit him and brought a lot of sucess to club maculloch does not have this ability

Agree3 Disagree0

25 Apr 2015 21:35:01
That is called brains. McCulloch could not lace Weir's boots.
And yes fans paid their money and booed him, so what, it is not as if he does not get paid, sorry overpaid, for being a total plonker.

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Apr 2015 23:22:49
John1 mcculloch isn't fit enough to just jump up and chace the other team, ffs he struggled to get back up off the ground, lee your losing your hero like status obtained when you tuped over, imho, retire from the playing side is my sound advice.

Anyone know of any players out of contract this year who could do a job for us?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 Apr 2015 18:07:47
None of them unless they buck up over the next few weeks.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2015 18:09:52
No but could do with signing new support don't boo one of you own

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Apr 2015 18:56:20
Meant new signings not the players we had! ie free agents at the end of the season

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2015 20:47:50
Sorry lstv misread your comment. Must we have to look at players out of contract. Why can't well buy good players with the millions to be invested as reported and make us a team to challenge Celtic next year if we gain promotion.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2015 22:20:46
Very unrealistic, if we had to spend money on players I'd go for Craig Slater and Nadir Ciftçi then a lot of free agents

Agree0 Disagree1

25 Apr 2015 23:26:29
Jfr maybe we should wait to see if we get up,before making plans,if we go up new players won't be to much of a problem,as there will be lots of money freed up when the older guys retire, unless another club offers them deals, stop laughing at the back.

I'd expect Falkirk to give Hibs a right game at home. You never know. If we beat Hearts then Hibs need to win as well. A draw won't do them. Not finished yet. As for us we really should have won the game today. At least there was a bit of fight about us and Stuart changed things about a bit when things went wrong instead of standing with his arms folded. I thought McGregor and Wallace were poor. I actually felt a wee bit sorry for Jig. He's too slow but was cruelly exposed. He needs cover. Gets found out by speedy players. Time to call it a day. Sad to hear fans boo him though

25 Apr 2015 23:28:36
Noddy a club like ours should never ever have to rely on results from elsewhere to get us premoted up from the second tear in scotland

Everyone stop moaning and get to the game today and support the team whoever plays

Believable1 Unbelievable1

25 Apr 2015 14:06:29
Has to be said though vuckic should be playing down the middle instead of miller and bring either shields or Templeton outwide right.

25 Apr 2015 10:43:25
Right, the suns splitting the trees we've got a new manager, new board we are getting ran close for second spot the team need our support so what reason will the moaners on here give for not going to Ibrox today? i'm not going back till Jigs gone, not enough youngsters for my liking, the pies are cold, sports direct. what this week?

Believable1 Unbelievable7

25 Apr 2015 14:39:35
They don't have to give any reason. If they have more important things on in their life, that should be sufficient reason. I haven't been to a game in 10 years, not bothered if I don't get to another one. Some people just don't live and breath the game, there really is a world out there.

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Apr 2015 16:10:58
i ain't worried by who is there and whose not there its the result I am worried about don't have good feeling

Agree1 Disagree1

25 Apr 2015 16:43:49
I wonder why the moaners don't go to games? The simple answer is common sense. I would rather watch paint dry as it is more interesting. Next we will hear---- '' Bring back the leg-end''
McCall is doing a good job but after what dumb and dumber left, what chance did he have? Time to realise just how good/bad we really are and not through blue tinted glasses. I think even DK will be wondering just what the hell he is taking on. As far as murray is concerned he is on an 'earner' so what does he care? John Gilligan---- God help you.

Agree0 Disagree1

25 Apr 2015 19:59:39
Billyb DK hasn't taken on anything yet as far as I can see and left it up to Murray to take any boardroom flak.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jyf

I again agree with you

McCullough IS the reason we are in 3rd place goals for Hibs and Rangers 67 BUT goals against 32 Hibs Rangers 35

Today summed up exactly why McCulloch missing in action first goal and the second goal he was a JOKE falling over claiming a foul due to the fact he was beaten or pace and badly positioned AGAIN.

McCall NEEDS to NOW at least cover his own back by announcing that Jig is on a contrct where he is earning 75k a month AND cannot be it dropped. IF he can be dropped then McCall needs to be questioned as McCulloch is a FU**ING passengr in every game he has cost us 9 goals dierctly and the fact the other players are having to cover for him every game is the reason they are looking weak also.

Disgraceful he is in a Rangers team playing so bad and beyond belief he has audacity to expect a new contract

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Apr 2015 15:23:36
Kt it must put the other players chins down when the opposition go near mcculloch, asthe rest of the players know mcculloch can't keep pace with young strikers, the other 10 players know they are trying to carry mccullovvch, terrible situation for them
