Hi everyone, just a quick post to say well done to Johnny Hayes stepping in to stop a young Rangers fan being bullied from a group of low lives and making sure he got home safely. I hate bullying in all forms it's disgusting. The young lad and his family will be forever grateful.

24 Sep 2018 23:46:37
What a great story, well done Jonny Hayes.

25 Sep 2018 07:47:56
Who can disagree with that? Low life.

{Ed001's Note - they might be expressing unhappiness that anybody is getting bullied.}

25 Sep 2018 08:33:12
Just read it, great story! Good luck to the wee lad and we’ll done Jonny Hayes!

24 Sep 2018 16:56:23
If this Capo Mebude keeps on doing what he does he'll break into the Rangers team Fantastic talent 👏.

24 Sep 2018 18:30:31
Agreed kaz the boys obviously a talent

Would like to think we can blood some more of the young players this year it would be great to see some of them getting the chance the way Middleton has. Best way for our club to stay financially sound and should some of our players move on we have a young player ready to step in and fill the spot.

25 Sep 2018 10:10:49
I wouldn't be surprise if he was on the bench against ayr.

24 Sep 2018 16:47:22
Team vs Ayr Utd

FORMATION 4-1-4-1

Thoughts guys?

Foderingham

Flanagan Katic Worrall Wallace

McCrorie

Candeias Halliday Arfield Kent

Sadiq/ Morelos.

24 Sep 2018 17:30:59
Rather see a 4-3-3 as McCrorie shouldn't be exposed on his own atm. I know it's only Ayr but if not keeping it the same then perhaps a 3-5-2 to give Sadiq a chance with one of the main men up front.

24 Sep 2018 17:39:08
Middleton will be starting along with lafftery.

24 Sep 2018 17:44:02
I don't think that will be too far wrong, I think he will probs give Grezda and Rossiter some time as well and probably Dorrans instead of Halliday or Arfield simply to get him as much game time as possible to get him back up to full fitness.

24 Sep 2018 18:07:23
Lafferty is Cup tied.

24 Sep 2018 18:11:25
I have a feeling SG will play his strongest team available my rational no mistakes and push on for first trophy that can be won.

24 Sep 2018 18:18:04
I'm sorry but I don't know if sadiq is even good enough to play for ayr never mind go up against them for rangers. As always i'm trying to support the big man as he's in a blue shirt but I've saw him 3 times now with the unders and he's . How shall I put it terrible .

24 Sep 2018 18:54:02
Cf bear agree with u re Sadiq, saw him today, looked so out of touch, if he can't do it in reserves I'm not sur he will get a chance in first team.

24 Sep 2018 20:01:30
Yes Middleton should take a game from the start It can only benefit him Be good to see how he does It probably put Kent on the bench in that case Give him a rest!

24 Sep 2018 20:30:38
Lots of options that is the most pleasing thing so far this season. We could all probably name 2 separate 11’s that would compete with most teams in the league. We needed the last 2 league wins after the poor display at Parkhead and throwing away 4pts with the last kick in 2 games and now we need to kick on again, lots more to come from all the players, we are nowhere near top gear yet!

25 Sep 2018 07:19:46
Hopefully SG will field his strongest 11.
Ayr have had a good start to the season as they currently top The Scottish Championship.

25 Sep 2018 08:10:24
I'd be hoping formation stays similar with just a few players rested and a bench of hungry fringe players. No point in underestimating Ayr. Mix things up too much and we could get stung.

25 Sep 2018 22:01:21
Fod
Flannigan Worrall Katic Wallace
Rossiter Lassana Haliday
Gresda Sadiq Middleton.

24 Sep 2018 16:12:53
Jordan Rossiter, Eros Grezda and Lee Wallace all started in today's reserve victory over Motherwell. Rangers 6-2 Motherwell (Palmer 33, Grezda 41, Mebude 73 85 90, Dallas 78, Semple 57 Bowers 70.

24 Sep 2018 16:10:59
Looking at our October league games, last year would have been squeaky bum time, really looking forward to it now with 12 points hard but possible.
Thanks SG and the rangers staff and board.

24 Sep 2018 20:04:44
I’ve not really looked that far ahead but after Ayr we will have a tough game on another plastic pitch on Sunday and then Hearts at home so 6pts is a must and we might even be top going into the international break then regroup and go again! Let’s Go!

24 Sep 2018 14:35:09
rossiter sadiq grezda all playing today good luck to them can't wait to see them play in the first team especially rossiter the boy needs a break.

24 Sep 2018 14:23:01
Anybody know why our Mexican striker Herrera is no longer included on the Loan Review included in club website. Hoping someone else paying his wages.

24 Sep 2018 16:26:50
I think that is mainly down to the fact he's not getting a game and there is nothing to report.

24 Sep 2018 16:52:32
He cannot get a game same as that wee greesey get that drinks like a fish and plays pi##.

24 Sep 2018 11:42:18
Did anybody hear the two Rangers fans after the game on the Clyde SSB phone in yesterday? First one was slating Arfield and the second claimed Dorrans isn't the player he was at Norwich.

Can folk not just be happy? Some people need to pick holes in everything.

the second caller was clueless beyond belief as Dorrans had his best days at WBA, he didn't have the best time at Norwich due to injury.

Also, Arfield is never going to be the most skilled player on the park, but he is a grafter, I thought he had a slow start to the game yesterday but grew into it and had an overall great game.

24 Sep 2018 11:53:54
Well said BearMode! Just enjoying life at the moment buddy and a just Love the Rangers🇬🇧🌈.

24 Sep 2018 12:01:12
probably wasnt 2 rangers fans at all!

24 Sep 2018 12:49:30
Bearmode heard it, if Ronaldo and Nordic played for us some people would still moan. We are progressing well.

24 Sep 2018 12:57:16
both artfield and dorrans are good footballers with football brain, dorrans was injured last season, had a reasonable start before injury artfield look at the form he is coming into. both will shut up the clueless callers this season.

24 Sep 2018 15:04:57
Aye lads, and I think SG is just a tad more equipped to spot a descent player than a hotline caller lol.

24 Sep 2018 15:07:58
Both graham dorrans and scotty arfield, are good midfielders! Back the guys instead of finding fault with everything! We are heading most definitely in the right direction, under stevie G! Try being happy and positive! Our team is coming back and going to be challenging that mob from the eastend again! If both doza and arfield play to their potential, then IMO doza is the slightly better player! That doesn't mean arfield is a bad player, because he most certainly isn't!

24 Sep 2018 16:03:14
Who is Nordic jboy lol I agree tho arfield has been really good imo, and how they could slate Dorrans after about 25 mins of football is beyond me.

24 Sep 2018 16:19:45
😂😂😂 your a funny guy.

24 Sep 2018 17:01:40
Fb should read modric.

24 Sep 2018 19:14:29
I know mate I gathered that just trolling mate lol 😉.

25 Sep 2018 22:12:59
Yea those two guys on radio were clueless.

24 Sep 2018 10:31:15
Superb win yesterday and could have been more. Morelos was magnificent. Next two league games Livingston away and Hearts at Ibrox. 6 points from these games and who knows what the season might bring? Dorrans, Jack and Barisic missing yesterday so the squad is looking very strong. Even the muppets on Sportscene reluctantly admitted who good Rangers were yesterday! Talking of muppets, where have Sutton and Hartson gone?

24 Sep 2018 10:37:00
Dorrans and came on in the second half.

24 Sep 2018 11:04:17
Doiger this is so true We are looking strong and I hope we can strengthen furthermore come January! Now we have the basis of a good team it's more about adding quality rather than numbers!

I know there has been talk about Gerrard wanting to keep some of the loanees on a permanent I still think Coulabaly is a priority He's magic!

24 Sep 2018 13:45:46
Kazmania, have you been stealing supercooper11's exclamation marks? Agree with the rest of your post!

24 Sep 2018 10:12:33
Tricky game Wednesday which we should not take lightly. I would expect a reasonable freshen up from yesterday but still a strong line up. definitely see Worrall coming back in possibly alongside Katic this time and probably Lafferty will start, also don’t know how bad this knock Tav took yesterday is. I think we will line up similar to this:

Foderingham
Flanagan / Katic / Worrall / Wallace
Halliday / Coulibaly
Kent / Dorrans / Middleton
Lafferty.

24 Sep 2018 10:26:08
Lafferty is cup tied so can’t play.

24 Sep 2018 10:39:41
Wee_bear I'm sure morelos will manage ok Wednesday considering he was arguably the best player on the pitch! Heavily involved in all the goals.

24 Sep 2018 11:05:40
Give Sadiq a run upfront Good game got game time and to see what he can do.

24 Sep 2018 11:23:18
id stick with morleos, chance for him to get some goals and boost the confidence.

24 Sep 2018 12:51:04
Kaz no way Sadiq, shown nothing, this is a must win game.

24 Sep 2018 13:02:16
Morelas to start upfront, but put Sadiq on the bench and give him some game time.

24 Sep 2018 13:54:56
foderingham
Flanagan katic worrell Wallace
ejaria mcrorie arfield
candias morelos middleton

bring on halliday, dorrans and sadiq once the games in the bag.

24 Sep 2018 23:52:53
We went full strength in the last round so think SG will continue with this philosophy . I for one agree with this, we have not won any of the major honours in a while and I do not think we should be chopping and changing too much as I like the momentum we are building up.

25 Sep 2018 22:13:44
Rossiter. Rossiter. Rossiter
Come on Jordan. we are all behind you son.

24 Sep 2018 09:41:15
Must admit I wasn't sure if Kent would turn out a good signing but he is now settling well and I must say he is an exceptional talent! I get quite excited when he gets the ball now and I sincerely hope we can snap him up permanently as I don't see him making the Liverpool team anyway, he's enjoying his football and who wouldn't want to play in front of our massive crowd every other week?

24 Sep 2018 10:18:42
Kent is getting there bit by bit and he should improve! Until I see him do him do something special to one of the bigger teams ie Celtic or a high calibre European opposition I'm not going to get too carried away!

Your right he will not get the chance to break into the Liverpool team

I am beginning to like both him and Ejaria I'm leaning towards Ejaria for some reason He is very useful and has something that we lack in our team, that being very skilful with his feet.

24 Sep 2018 10:25:38
Agree Kaz, I think ejaria came into good form but was dropped for a bit which didn't help, but he has talent that's for sure, I want to see some more of Worrall, it's just a case of who would we put him in place of? Possibly rotation option I suppose.

24 Sep 2018 10:41:41
dazrfc86 Ejaria was injured that's why he missed some games.

24 Sep 2018 11:51:55
Oh well cheers barrowlad, I actually thought he was dropped mate👍.

24 Sep 2018 09:03:08
Can't help but wonder where the Naysayers are these days!

Those of you "supporters" who go quiet when we are doing well, wanted Morelos, Candeias, Tav and Halliday booted out of the club only a month or so ago - we don't hear you dishing out complements!

I know I'm boring by repeating myself but we are on the up but we will hit a few hurdles on the way - get behind the club and stay there through good and bad.

24 Sep 2018 10:16:27
Great post couldn’t agree more.

24 Sep 2018 10:42:20
Us "supporting naysayers" are entitled to an opinion I've posted here that I was wrong re Morelos and was happy to admit it but DK17 it doesn't detract from the fact we're all allowed an opinion so gies peace with your sanctimonious posts.

24 Sep 2018 10:43:26
Apparently attacking our own players constantly even when playing well! Is good for the club! According to some of our support!

24 Sep 2018 11:48:49
No barowlad having an opinion isn't a fault I'm sure you thought everything was great over past few years as Celtic used us as their plaything not once did you raise a voice of dissent I'm ecstatic where we are miles ahead of what I thought but hate the fact there are posters on here that are always right and no one else has right to comment.

24 Sep 2018 12:54:08
No far from it Dlc7007 I'm referring to the support that would rather attack morelos for his missed goals than celebrate his goals scored and hold up play! Or attack halliday constantly for past form rather than be glad he seems to have turned a corner and is a completely different player under Gerrard! Players do deserve criticising! But does that player still deserve past form to be held against him when playing well? If you yourself into that category then that's not my fault is it!

24 Sep 2018 13:31:05
I've been one of hallidays supporters think he's a great squad player I along with many others are entitled to criticise if its warranted even gerrard critisied the team after a 3-0 win against Dundee so is he fair game to question why he is doing it?
I want rangers to win everything they enter but I can't blindly sit back and not have a say if IMO it's not been great it's like dhim supportters on clyde just now as far as they can see there's no problems it's a blip, treble treble is coming! they're deluded and so are some of our fans if they think our team is beyond critique as well as we're doing.

24 Sep 2018 14:48:23
Dlc7007 at what point in anything I've said have I suggested that players shouldn't be criticised? I've only said is it fair to keep criticising players long after their form has improved is that to the benefit to the club?

24 Sep 2018 15:29:42
dic7007 we beat dundee 4-0 and yes he criticised the team not any individual player . unlike a certain other manager.

25 Sep 2018 22:13:14
There is constructive criticism then there is slagging for the sake of it. as it makes some feel big and superior. unfortunately some on here don’t get the difference.

Review Of The Day 24th September 2018

24 Sep 2018 07:29:11
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 24th September 2018

23 Sep 2018 23:48:20
The whole Scotland debate is an interesting one. I would love to see Scotland do well and hopefully that would include a number of Rangers players. Do I go and watch them no, why not because of the treatment dished out to Rangers when demoted and the Anti Rangers centimente still around today within Premier league and the SFA
It’s tough to forgive and forget the people who had the knifes out for Rangers
Scotland fans booing Rangers players when representing Scotland
How do other feel about it? I don’t see myself paying to go watch Scotland any time soon
For me it’s all about Rangers.

24 Sep 2018 07:01:51
first time post william? yes your right in one thing its all about the rangers.

24 Sep 2018 07:25:36
Completely agree William. For me the only advantage I can see from it is to add value to our players so that if they do move on we are getting better fees for them.

24 Sep 2018 09:03:07
I don't know where the everyone boos the rangers players comes from I go to every scotland home game and have followed away a fair bit. I've heard a couple of isolated incidents of it but I've also heard celtic players getting booed! What happens when both supports have a moron element who can't put the old firm aside even at a scotland gAme. Try an away game with scotland where it is the real tartan army, u will have saw nothing like it, best fans in the world 👍.

24 Sep 2018 09:44:35
Got to say it is great that the team is doing that well we have nothing to fall out about (well agree or diagree) bar if we follow Scotland or not.

24 Sep 2018 10:25:59
Frustrated. Got to agree with you. I couldn’t care less which club team the Scotland players play for and think it’s sad that there appears some small minded individuals who do. I’m more concerned - from a Scotland supporters perspective- that we are Jimmy Whyte, however.

24 Sep 2018 13:37:58
Frustrated blue sorry mate gawa are best fans in the world.

24 Sep 2018 16:11:48
Who are gawa? Have you ever been on an away trip with scotland? What u see on tv doesn't do it justice mate I promise u. Everywhere you go the locals love it always wanting pics with u in your kilt etc. It's a totally different experience from club football.

25 Sep 2018 21:59:34
Adding value is not just financial, international football adds experience which brings its own value to a player and a club👍.
