Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

24 Sep 2017 22:58:08
this squad may be capable of doing better, time will tell. but looking forward to future transfer windows mclean, walker, moult and wouldn't mind the lad quitonga from morton as well.

then in summer use the majority of the money to buy 2 or 3 players who are good quality or talented to do this the scouting network needs set up to as we will not find these players without scouts.

25 Sep 2017 01:03:46
Quotonga has signed with Saltcoats Vic's lol

25 Sep 2017 01:24:19
You do know you are skint and relying on directors' loans? The more you play up the millions the squad cost to assemble and the more you criticise them and all the scouts see their true ability the worse it makes it for you.

25 Sep 2017 11:19:52
Haha saltcoats vics more like ardeer that's his level never know he might get better and sign for kilbirnie ladeside. Fek beith.

25 Sep 2017 11:55:08
Fek beith fae me fodtheprod, looks like we are cut from the same cloth.

24 Sep 2017 20:04:02
Had time to calm down and take stock. Firstly, the lack of fight displayed by most of the team was absolutely disgraceful. How many times are we going to let this lot come to our ground and turn us over without a whimper? Added to that the sight of that thug griffiths wiping his shot on the corner flag was absolutely disgusting. Surely if this was obvious to me then surely there should be something done about this player.

How many times will he be allowed to swan about displaying this classless pish in front of our fans? And peanut head telling our manager to eff off at half time and then go on social media and slag him rotten. After he swings an arm and again as always gets away with it. He really is a bawbag who is really going to hurt somebody really bad.

If this wasn't enough I now read about Windass giggling and joking with them at full time. I wonder what the likes of Ian Ferguson, John Brown, Souness or Amo would have reacted at the end? Answers on a postcard! It's time we were getting in and about them instead of bending over.

24 Sep 2017 20:45:12
glad someone else saw and commented on windarse at the end mate. that totally got to me. i can take a lack of skill if a player gives his all but that felt a right slap in the puss. hodson gets ripped and isn't the best to be fair but having spiceboy not cover can't help at all either. was too much deadwood to clear it all in the summer but fingers crossed come january windass is one of the first replaced.

24 Sep 2017 21:41:56
Agree with most of your post OP. But I would rather our manager ignored Brown at half time and instead instructed his players to actually mark him tightly rather than giving him the freedom of the Ibrox pitch to strut around.

Three Old Firm games played under Pedro and a cumulative score of 9-1 to them and yet the cheerleaders on here still yack on about progress and get annoyed whenever anybody suggests that he isn't up to the job.

Wise up folks.

24 Sep 2017 22:04:36
Mmm interesting choice of characters there mate, now some of them tho good players WERE thugs injuring opponents (remember Souness first game? ), and also using EBTs etc.
So wiping your nose on a flag is more despicable than seriously injuring others and tax dodging?

24 Sep 2017 22:13:08
Im with you seeker. As harsh as it sounds I prefer the if you can't beat them, snap them way of thinking. Brown and Griffiths wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes on a pitch with Hurlock, Brown etc. there's nothing. a real Rangers teams players would have piled into Brown in the tunnel and that other skinny wee rat would be snapped in first old firm game. When was last old firm red card?

24 Sep 2017 22:59:26
Rayman, your mob and a lot of others were using ebts so stop your bleating, your a typical uninformed Celtic supporter.

24 Sep 2017 23:01:57
Unlike your user name you clearly don't have any sense.
It's a game of football and you want to snap players because they're too good?

24 Sep 2017 23:05:42
Sendeross for playing Basketball.

24 Sep 2017 23:09:37
Im dissapointed we got beat and in the manner but to go on about Thumb Nut wiping his nose on the corner flag is child like. there's been plenty of times we've rubbed there noses in it and it just sounds like sour grapes because we got beat. take our medicine and soak it up and it'll be more enjoyable when we get our payback

24 Sep 2017 23:21:30
The Seeker, that obviously doesn't stand for the seeker of truth and knowledge, maybe you are the kind that are seeking the way out of a telephone box. I sense you understand what I mean, do not critisice Brown, what was Pedro doing?

don't you understand Pedro was using diversionary tactics, i am caught off side a lot did not complain after he got smashed in the throat by Brownies elbow, did he? in fact, it was almost if nothing had happened, but Pedro is a performer, he understands football is entertainment, he was playing to the gallery, he was milking the occasion and feeding the supporters need for something.

but at least Pedro is more honest than some of the managers you have had in your short existence, he is looking after the team first rather than looking after his wallet.

25 Sep 2017 02:01:34
Rayman 99.Souness was without doubt the best central midfield player of his generation. World class. The late great Jock Stein loved Souness and vice versa. Try and have a wee bit of class. I can listen to a lot of rubbish but to slate Souness. too far son. too far

24 Sep 2017 19:20:06
I've hoped that Pedro could do the job and gave him time but it's not happening. looking at his signings he could have had berra instead of cardoso. McLean instead of Pena . moult instead of herrera . naismith instead of candeias and both Beerman and aktayi are better than dalcio so he wasn't needed. we could have spent half of what we payed and got better players so overall it's been a failure . do we sack him . who would buy the players he signed . overall we could be back to square one or do we somehow hope they are better than they are showing and suddenly come good. I would like to here our chairman's thoughts on this.

24 Sep 2017 19:47:38
We're not a bad team just not as good as Celtic just now. Crack on with it, add 3 or 4 quality 1st team starters and we'll be in a better position to challange. Some of the signings have been good I think and Not every signing is going to set the heather alight, have we not figured this out yet.

24 Sep 2017 20:02:36
Pappy

We are awful and don't even come close to competing with them. We are scared of them and no one is prepared to put a tackle in. Team full of players with no heart who give up too easily

24 Sep 2017 20:18:44
Awful compared to what? The Smith/ Advocaat era, Yes. The other 10 teams in the spfl, no. i'm excluding celtic there by the way. The no heart thing always comes up when your not as good as your loathed rivals. i'm not saying we're great, but a few good additions and we'd see a huge difference. Keep calm and play on. We've been on top before and it'll happen again. And when does happen it'll be the sweetest league victory for a generation.

24 Sep 2017 20:29:11
Pappy, we figured out a while ago that some of the signings are barry white. that's why we are 5th in the league😩

24 Sep 2017 20:59:47
Pappy, we are not as good as them and we are not as good as Progress, the team are failing at every challenge put in front of them, something has to be done now, why are we waiting? Give me an honest answer, how many of that team and management are good enough for Rangers?

24 Sep 2017 22:40:27
It's tough to watch at the moment we are some way behind, but we just need to keep building gradually we cannot sign 5/ 6 million pound players so sometimes they don't come off, Morelos looks a really good buy, Jack similar . There are no guarantees some work others don't.

We cannot simply keep sacking managers and scrapping playing squads, hopefully certain players will come good once they have become fully accustomed to their surroundings and the league they are playing in. let's see where we are at the end of the season.

24 Sep 2017 22:43:17
He’s signed 10 players pappy and u are saying another 4 quality players and we can challenge? what about the ones he has brought in are they quality? he's not good enough simple as that.

24 Sep 2017 23:03:19
Get rid of Windass can't have a Rangers player laughing and joking with the opposition after a game let alone an old firm game.

24 Sep 2017 23:11:36
Pappy,

The team are just awful not sure what you don't understand about that?

25 Sep 2017 06:41:11
We had to re vamp an entire squad for under 10 mil. I'd say 6 signings are looking decent so far and the 2 mexicans might come good. If we have a decent foundation, which I believe we have esp in commparison to the last 5 years, then of course during the next transfer window i'd like to see another 10 mil spent on 3 or 4 quality signings rather than clear out and spend that money on a whole new squad and manegment team. If he gets that money and we're not competing then it'll be time for a change.

24 Sep 2017 16:07:39
instead of constantly suggesting we need yet more players, we have a serious fitness problem, We are top heavy with coaching staff but we are NOWHERE NEAR full fitness, this has to be addressed quickly and our Portuguese man o war needs to STOP giving the squad days off, they have not earned such a privilege and until they do, they need to perform miracles on the training ground.

24 Sep 2017 17:13:24
You just make this up? We don't have any more coaching staff than anyone else and our fitness is ok. Also not heard of players being given extra days off unless injured

24 Sep 2017 17:26:07
Fitness isn't the issue here (pena apart) . all players at full time clubs will b of a similar level of fitness but when 1 team is far better at football and keeps the ball a lot better then its obvious the team doing all the chasing (us) are going to tire. Selik looked a lot fitter because they make the ball do the wrk but if u watch a re-run of there game V PSG then you'd think Selik wernt fit. boys like Tierny and Sinclair couldn't even function the very few times they got the ball because they wer doing doggys for 90mins but yesterday they looked as if they could have played til Christmas

24 Sep 2017 19:32:05
SH34 correct since Pedro came they now only get one day off a week they now train a wed which was a rest day before your going back to the international break where he said he was going to give the team a couple of days off you've know rest is just as important as training you can't just train every day

24 Sep 2017 16:04:58
I think everyone agrees that Pena isn't fit but the question is why. Is he not trying in training
Is the training schedule wrong or is that as fit as he is going to be. Its amost october and he doesn't look as if he will ever be ready. Something wrong somewhere.

24 Sep 2017 16:15:01
The question is why did we pay 3mil approx for an unfit player? That 3mil could have been better spent on other players.

24 Sep 2017 16:39:37
Agreed coldo but why can't we get him fit now. Its weeks since pre season and he certainly doesn't look like a 2/ 3 million pound player. If we are honest how many think we can go away to Parkhead Aberdeen Easter Road or Perth and come back with anything with what we are witnessing onthe park just now. don't look like they have a fight in them and happy to sit back and let teams disrespect us. Just look at what Griffiths did yesterday. Disgrace!

24 Sep 2017 16:46:00
Who knows mate why he can't get fitter, maybe that's his max already.

24 Sep 2017 17:08:03
I hope not but if it is move him on asap because that just won't cut it with the pace of our league.

24 Sep 2017 18:35:49
We paid 3 million for an unfit player because the manager is a joke. 500k for Barrie Mckay really?

24 Sep 2017 22:44:54
Mckay was in last year of his contract and 100% wasn’t signing another 1 so they cashed in but why keep a player who didn’t wany to be here? he had loads of talent a was a fan of him but being honest u got 1 cracking game in 5 from him.

24 Sep 2017 23:11:26
Unfortunately, Pedro knew he was a risk and had admitted it. he thought the risk was worth it as Pena had destroyed his team Santos on a few occasions, but unfortunately we don't have the funds to be taking 2 to 3 million dollar risks and he should have realised that fact.

24 Sep 2017 16:01:37
The thing for me with yesterday's match, those tactics were corrupt from the start, how could we expect to gain anything from that match with a 4-3-3 and playing definite counter attacking football? We had a chance to rally at the start and put a bit of authority on the game, we sat back and let them toy with us, ok we perked up a bit in the first half and had a wee go, and again late in the second but why can't we start a match all guns blazing and keep that mindset? Pena needs a decade to get up to speed too! But I must say a massive well done to young McCrorie, you led by example and if I were you I'd be scratching my head wondering how Wilson is ahead of you in the pecking order, next bet I'll place is Chelsea having an interest in the young man and us letting him go for pennies

24 Sep 2017 16:49:55
Mccrorie has to play every week otherwise his development will be hindered. He proved he can play against celtic no problem. I bet he gets dropped when alves is fit. Cardoso should be dropped when alves is fit. Mccrorie will prosper playing with alves.

24 Sep 2017 17:35:26
Its so hard to take in that we couldve got moult walker and mclean for the price of pena i think pedro has done the mexican pals a turn there

24 Sep 2017 23:18:31
I agree, Cardoso must be dropped when Alves is fit again and Mccrorie played 2 points I looked back on the goals in the old firm game and Cardoso was at fault for both he should of cleared the ball in the first goal and either told mccrorie that Griffith was inside him so the young boy knew and could deal with it or tackle him instead of watching from 5 metres away and also he doesn't cope well with physical opposition strikers.

24 Sep 2017 15:46:41
We need a midfeild enforcer in the transfer window, we don't have anyone like that at the moment and it was obvious yesterday got through us to easy would also like to see Moult and Walker being signed.

24 Sep 2017 16:33:59
I agree we need an enforcer but they will need to be the team for a couple of seasons. It's taken Scott brown years in that team to be the player he is

24 Sep 2017 16:52:04
Shinnie, mclean, moult, walker. Get them in👍

24 Sep 2017 17:33:23
Scott Brown only became that type of player when we went down in 2012 and the players we have had since would b lucky to get a game in pub fitba (Black, Law, Halliday, Holt, Barton) . Coincidentally he never looked the part or bossed games like that when Fergie, Davis, Thommo played because he's nowere near there level. If u remember right the reason they won the league in 2008 was because he got suspended and they had to bring Barry Robson in

24 Sep 2017 20:35:48
Barry robson 2008?

you having a laugh. Like it or not Broony has ran the show for Celtic for years. Refs and opposition players have stayed clear of him.

Original post asked who we need as an enforcer.

Great question. In years gone by we plucked bomber from dundee, fergie from st mirran and Tommo from Hibs.

Is there anyone in reserves or Scottish football who plays midfield and likes a tackle?

24 Sep 2017 23:17:29
No Baz i'm not having a laugh! Barry Robson played for Celtic in 2008 mate and i'm sure Rayman99 and Tompo will back me up on that 1 and if there being totally honest they'll tell u that the majority of Celtic fans didn't take to Brown until Feb 2011 when he done the "Broony" to Diouf.

24 Sep 2017 15:35:19
for all you experts out there, Walter Smith is not in his 70's, he is 69, NOT past it, is still capable of gaining respect, but he doesn't want to come back, that is why he retired.
i WOULD HAVE HIM BACK TOMORROW but a lot of you seem to like the bullfighting comedian.

24 Sep 2017 16:03:18
Walter smith would instill the fear factor back at ibrox, the guy can work wonders with player and get the best out of them. Fair enough his first glorious run he had all the money he could ask for but his second spell he really didn't have much and the last big money signing he made was jelavic for 4.5mill and what in getting at here is he could turn this bunch of wimps into men and get them winning. He won't be back though not after he had his hand burnt with green n co.

24 Sep 2017 16:22:47
Bullfighting comedian. . aye that really helps!

24 Sep 2017 16:29:01
Don't want Walter back let him enjoy his retirement. If he did come back he would build a team of has beens with no sell on value as he done before then we would be back to square one.

24 Sep 2017 16:53:02
Get mcinnes👍

24 Sep 2017 15:21:53
i've spoken on here several times about the dying game in Scotland.
todays showpiece Motherwell v Aberdeen? with no competition from other SPFL top matches.

Witnessed by 4,500 fans, sadly I rest my case

add in the fact that several top league stadiums are nothing better than ramshackle and astroturf, the game here is almost deid folks.

24 Sep 2017 15:42:51
I agree Ritchie I live in cork in Ireland and they get bigger crowds than that that is fact even Celtic are gone as for us well speaks for itself I hope that we have something up our sleeve for the future? I mean look at who we are employing there has to be something afoot ? Doesn't there? I live in hope

24 Sep 2017 16:23:47
The lack of any football or entertainment is possibly another indicator of the state of the Scottish game. They are two top six teams and my god it was horrible viewing.

24 Sep 2017 20:58:04
Well said Ritchie. i couldn't agree more. your Right that Ibrox stadium is not looking her best just now but to call it ramshackle is a wee bit over the top.
But i don't think Parkhead or the Celtic way doesn't look too shabby. Especially on those big European champion league nights when it's all lit up.

24 Sep 2017 15:03:11
Struggling to come to terms with the fact that Ross McCormack is about to go on loan to Melbourne Victory or some mob down under. Now in no way am I saying he's the answer but surely he would have done a job for us for a season? Don't know if his attitude let's him down or not but the guy has a decent record down south I've no idea why we didn't at least look at him instead of wasting 2.5 mill on a player who looks unfit and uninterested. Hope Pena proves me wrong but he's shown me nothing so far.

24 Sep 2017 15:34:29
Not sure about pena yet but I will say that in my opinion rangers have to move these players on . Wilson Holt Wallace tav rossiter niko miller simply not good enough or injury prone and there is not 1 player that we let go would have made any difference yesterday . not an excuse a fact

24 Sep 2017 13:12:41
Anyone else remember the run of wins when the breadman played Tav in midfield (where he should be) i'd love to see Tav on RW and Declan John on the left I think we'd create so many attacks in games, these two get it to the byline and put the ball around the penalty spot area and that's where it should be attacked. These two wouldn't have even been considered as defenders a decade ago but now we have all this "wing back" nonsense just because some of the most elite teams in the world carry it off successfully. I think in the squad we're ok for wide players our number one priority if we have any funds available in Jan is a CAM, someone who can beat a man and play the ball into space, I'm sick of seeing the ball played into feet for a lay off it slows the game down, you've only to look at what teams like Man City do it's not rocket science. a player collecting the ball on the run is more devastating than one collecting it static. By the way I think we have a better squad than last year just think what our midfield was like and CB positions, it was frightening!

24 Sep 2017 14:41:25
What team you watching Matt as we no better than last year pedro a joke and penna not a football playet

24 Sep 2017 16:08:00
We have not improved properly in years its always 1 step forward n 2 back. Defence is keek midfield is weak and attack is bleak. I've said it before but we are going to be runners up or worse for years to come and the board will be reluctant to give PC anymore cash in january incase he buys more guff. Morelos and dorrans are the decent 2 yeah alves is good but I really havnt saw much from him that makes him a big name. So pedro must go.

24 Sep 2017 18:22:04
I agree pedro must must must go. Anyone would be better can't tgjnk of anyone that would be worse

24 Sep 2017 22:47:33
tommy shall we bring warbs back? ally? cmon.

24 Sep 2017 12:21:19
Sorry fellow bears i am probably going to get pelters but we are all allowed our opinion and we all want what's best for our club but we are never going to win anything with Pedro teams aren't afraid of us especially at ibrox and i totally agree with guy about how they behave after games the board have no spine could you see lawell letting us behave like that no chance souness get your consortium together and give us some pride back.

24 Sep 2017 12:50:24
Jake totally agree. The team are weak and have not improved 1 bit since pc took over other teams sense weakness and have a go radical changes needed starting with pc

24 Sep 2017 13:42:02
The current team are timid and frightened of Celtic. No heart in the team and it was embarrassing to see so many heads fall once they scored. The players, management and some fans on here meekly accept defeat to them. I can't ever recall any Rangers team lying down to them as much as we have since Pedro took over. 3 defeats to them without a whimper utterly shocking

24 Sep 2017 13:42:37
Agree

24 Sep 2017 12:11:48
Hi, eds.
As much as I, love this site I will be staying away for a while. I'm sick of people slating the team no matter what. They allnwant Pedro out. Scared of change. 90% of them prob never played football at any level or just love champ manager. Some people can't see the trees for the Forrest and its utterly frustrating reading the same people mumble the same guff. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but some people want instant success. Anyways I'll be back in the tfer window. Keep uo the amazing work. Cheers

24 Sep 2017 12:26:41
Absolutely buckled😂😂😂

24 Sep 2017 12:39:47
Bit extreme kri55 but I can see where your coming from if we don't beat Celtic then its doom and gloom if we win against other teams its not enough most on here think that we should have a team like a jar of nescafe coffee Instant well that's the reality of it yes its going to be another difficult season but we can and will turn it around with hopey what we have as I don't think another change is viable we have been dogged with injuries for the past 2/ 3 seasons more than any other club remember the tackle on young Nathan oduwa and all that came of it was that the young alloa player was one of our own? This is what we are up against week in week out I don't know the answer to it or why it happens? I still be live we are going in the right direction Pedro has huge contacts worldwide that is a huge plus in my opinion things will change of that I am sure as I have said it is already happening at development level it will spread

24 Sep 2017 13:46:08
Briangersfan

At the moment we don't even compete against them and meekly lie down to them. We allow them to play football and let Brown stroll around the park with his chest out. I would also like to know where your proof is that we are going in the right direction? We lost to a team from Luxembourg, we have only won 1 out of 4 so far at home in the league and are in 5th place

24 Sep 2017 15:00:46
Obviously we are not competing but we will. Seriously what can we do keep sacking people? We are not PSG or man city we cannot compete we have to build simple as that no magic hats no magic wands no sugar daddies as I said we are building look at the development in a very short period jeeze lads c'mon no one is ever going to get it right completely if you think Pedro got rid of a good player that would have made a difference yesterday name them? May not have bought the best but we all wanted jsck dorrans alves Morelos jeeze c'mon be honest I will be yes I'm gutted but I don't think we are on the wrong path

24 Sep 2017 17:27:13
Briangersfan

Rather than spend £1.5m on Herrera do you not think it would have made more sense to get Moult and Walker? It wouldn't have cost that much more and you are getting 2 hardened SPFL players who have caused Celtic problems in games. £3m spent on someone who is clearly unfit and not used to playing out with his country was madness. Plenty of better players than him that we could have got and for much less

24 Sep 2017 17:47:29
It makes complete sense sparky, most people just don't like to here it. I mean how dare anyone say anything negative about the team, even though its the truth.

24 Sep 2017 11:39:08
Pedro is out of time and excuses. He was the wrong appointment and we should have learned from le guen. zero progress has been made in past 6 months. The mexicans will never adapt to our game and should never have been signed. As for the rest simply not good enough. To accept defeat like yesterday is not acceptable. They gave celtic too much time and respect. Time to cut our losses and move on.

24 Sep 2017 12:03:57
Stevie you smoke too much crack last night?

24 Sep 2017 12:24:45
Kri55 i think you were on the crack watching the game. If you think being knocked out europe by an amateur team and yesterdays useless pathetic performance is acceptable then you are deluded. Time to wise up.

24 Sep 2017 12:35:44
He left in a huff stevie c, some people just can't handle the truth.

24 Sep 2017 13:01:54
Coldo i agree. He is in the minority and in denial. The facts are overwhelming. Everyone hoped pc would succeed buts its not working. Wrong call to appoint him b interesting if there was a poll to get rid of him now. I reckon 75% yes

24 Sep 2017 13:36:11
No one wanted him to fail, but the facts just aren't good enough. Knocked out of europe by a part time pub team, 5mil wasted on pena and herrera etc. Then you have "fans" making excuses like, Celtic fans shouldn't get the broomloan, celtic shouldn't celebrate with their fans at ibrox, partick flew into tackles against us but not against other teams, the team needs time to gel. Pena needs time to get fit and up to speed ( he cost 3mil), why do celtic get to play their cup game first when we were drawn out the hat first. These are all examples of excuses people have posted on this site. It is really sad and pathetic that fans actually spout this nonsense. Then fans leave in huffs because they can't handle the truth. Some want to give pedro another 5mil because the director of football will spend it for him. Beggers belief. We spent about 8mil in the summer and we are 5th, 2 goals better off than 6th placed motherwell. WISEN UP FOLKS, ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

24 Sep 2017 13:47:43
Steviec

Your posts are spot on mate and it's alarming that so many people can't see the obvious.

24 Sep 2017 14:50:07
Coldo been supporting gers for over 60 years and agree completely with what you say enough is enough get McLeish in on temp basis to give board time to find new manager no chance of winning any trophies this season under Pedro pointless letting him continue

24 Sep 2017 15:16:44
StevieC mate, there is a poll in a thread in Rangers Media with a vote. 350 fans odd votes so far, 42% go 57% stay. Interesting reading!

24 Sep 2017 17:00:20
Yip snell it is interesting reading, it reads 57% are still deluded👍

Snell. Where on earth did they get the 57% of the 350 from. God only knows. It is blatantly obvious this guy has not got a clue. How many examples do u need. Yesterday was final straw. Shameful disgraceful spineless gutless performance and i am going easy here. Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding there self on. Caldo and sparky your spot on

24 Sep 2017 19:17:25
was only sharing due to the coincidence that you mentioned a poll and then i saw that one mate, wasnt a dig was just sharing what i read.

24 Sep 2017 22:41:37
Utter dribble Jan is the time to decide when we have been round the teams.

24 Sep 2017 11:25:19
For everyone that wants rid of caixinha 8 games together this team had we had a make shift defence cause we have been unlucky with injury's and blootered all over the park at partick in two games where u never see any team go into challenges like that against Celtic also he's building his squad of players this year some may leave at end of season likes of holty who I think should of started yesterday instead of Pena and if the board back him with same budget as this summer he won't need to bring I'm so many he could go out buy 2 guys 4/ 5 million each add that quality and hopefully takes us to next level keep the faith!

24 Sep 2017 11:33:48
Stop making excuses joe, he spent 5mil on two mexican duds why would you want to give him another 5mil to waste?

24 Sep 2017 11:50:39
The director of football will have a say in the next signings that's why!

24 Sep 2017 12:21:59
Dazbear, so you're saying pedro will get another 5mil because someone else will be spending it for him? So you admit that pedro can't be trusted with another 5mil? Can't you see that your own statement is actually slating pedro. #nothebrightest

Some thoughts on yesterday.

After a shaky start we played well in the first half. Morelos was torture and was offside way too much which killed a couple of good moves. How many times did foderingham kick the ball out the park giving Celtic possession? We have no runners from midfield something I thought Dorrans would bring. He passed the ball back way too often. Also at 2-0 we were all over the place with Pedros subs. We lost discipline and our shape and that mob could have scored a few more which would have been harsh. He should have kept his shape and kept kenny on brown instead of letting him swagger all over the pitch. Is kenny scared of brown? He never got close to him when he came on.

Also is not about time we gave that mob less tickets. The whole second half was disrupted with that mob messing about with the ball. Give them a smaller section of the broom loan and stick them in the corner. Just like they do to us.

24 Sep 2017 10:23:14
Whats with this less tickets nonsense? that's wit they've always had now we make a big deal abt it because they keep humping us. grow up man

24 Sep 2017 10:25:41
Goals change games. It's easy to say, but it's so true. 1st half we looked organised and right in the match. Could have been more in their faces, but got a few chances. One was the morelos pen. If we go 1 up, it's a different game.

We were hamstrung today with having to play hodson. He was torture which meant defensively, Jack had to leave his man to cover, etc. Offensively hodson is not comfortable going forward, something john/ Wallace are which left us isolated in attack at times.

Yes, at 2-0 they look faster, stronger, and we're on damage limitation.

Another thing for me is the way they swagger about ibrox, doing what they want, winding up the crowd and getting away with it. Even at ft, they're all on the park celebrating like they've won the league. It's now time to show some proper resistance and resume dominance both on and off the pitch. This would never be done 10 years ago.

24 Sep 2017 10:44:31
All delusional if think rangers improving under Pedro at no time in game did rangers look like scoring from open play though should have had pen . the score could easily have been 6 or 7 for tims sorry but pedro not the answer penna waste of money

24 Sep 2017 10:59:13
You know what I'm p! @£ed off with performance but realistically with the available players not unexpected
Difficult to see the best way forward n short and long-term
Do the board keep the faith and give a good budget in Jan?
Pick up the pieces at end of he season where confidence and some players may be gone?
Sack Pedro and start again?
Realistically a new manager just now is not an option McInnes and Wright are not the answer. Back hander Sam definitely not the answer
NI manager could be next season in my opinion a valid way to go if support unanimously turn against Pedro

24 Sep 2017 12:01:30
That's not what they have always had SG34. They used to get a wee bit bit of the main stand and west enclosure.

They stick us in the corner. Why don't we do the same?

Is ibrox the new party place for the mhankies?

They were out of order yesterday. End of.

24 Sep 2017 14:05:54
Look, I'm a glass half full guy. Ok, I'm not 100% Pedro, but anyone who can't see a better team than last year are delusional.

Are we better than them - no.
Should/ Could we play better yes.

We are not going to get rid of Pedro, and neither we should until evaluation at end of season.

As I mentioned earlier, we All need to pull together to dominate Scottish football again. Some of the things being allowed to happen recently would never have happened when we were on top.

Pedro at least tries to stand up for our club, but it's too easy to shoot him down as a foreigner.

24 Sep 2017 14:11:56
Well u must b older than me Baz because since the early 90s since I've had my ST they've had the full stand. they enjoyed it and rubbed our noses in it Big Deal, just like we've done plenty of times at the piggery. get yer dummy, sook it up and move on

24 Sep 2017 17:09:16
I have to agree with a previous post, we are crying out for a good attacking central midfielder. I think Pena was identified as this, but nothing creative comes through the middle.
If candias doesn't get a decent ball in, we don't create anything.

But, more alarming is the no of goals against us. That's the crux. Alves been Ok, but not as commanding as I'd hoped. Wes has hardly made a save this season.

24 Sep 2017 20:52:50
Pena was worse than a man short. Hodson is a liability. The best team won, no complaints, no excuses.
@grumpyauldfifer - if you seen a 6 or 7 nil game your guide dog was telling you lies!

24 Sep 2017 06:47:09
"and when we win you shouldn't need to be bet to come and admit you got beat by the better team simplest of things holding your hands up and admitting you were beat your team couldn't handle pace and power u just watch morelos rip you apart and candieas dorrans ando jack " hahahaha

24 Sep 2017 05:02:52
Let be hounest did use really think we where gona win today their along way ahead of us we are moving in right direction and we had few players out today big Bruno our main man john wallece whole season to look forward to our aim is second place gona take a couple year but for me I can see big improvement so stop all moaning and get behind team you never know we might win cup am backing Pedro use can say sack him all you want a other maneger likes of mckinnes
Wright Walter ain't the answer we need time as team to grow.

24 Sep 2017 07:33:59
We are Rangers this lot is no good. The bread man was better and as for Alves he didn't fancy it. I would pay both their flights home. Rubbish we are going back the way

24 Sep 2017 08:35:48
Tommy Rangers. The Bread Man was better? Nottingham Forest lost AGAIN yesterday and are 12th in the Championship so that is utter rubbish. Alves was obviously injured otherwise why would the club say he was? Celtic have had five years unchallenged in Scottish football and accumulating CL money whilst we are now trying to catch up. Young Mccrorie showed that youngsters can step up to the mark so why has Hardie still not been given a chance? Why play only one striker at home regardless of who we are playing? Injuries to Wallace, Alves and Rossiter are unfortunate. Time to give Mccrorie an extended run as I think Cordoso is a liability in defence. Play Beerman at left back for now and Hodson at right back and move Tavernier forward to right midfield. Give Alnwick a run in goal too. Team for next game:
Alnwick; Hodson (or John), Mccrorie, Alves, Beerman; Jack, Dorrans, Candeias, Kranjcar; Morelos, Hardie

We are getting there slowly but whether Pedro is the answer I'm not sure. We must give him until Christmas. The league is gone already unless we turn things round and go on a long winning run and beat Celtic in their next two games.

24 Sep 2017 08:39:06
Sorry I forgot to put Tav in the team after all that! Tav for Kranjcar

24 Sep 2017 08:59:38
No we aren't improving and under the current manager we will never get close to them. This team are rotten and were again totally outplayed yesterday. How many comfortable victories for them will it take for people to realise he isn't the man to try and take us forward

24 Sep 2017 11:43:15
Good post doiger

24 Sep 2017 20:14:39
Alves didn't fancy it? that's why he wasn't playing? 😂

24 Sep 2017 20:53:04
@tommyrangers - he wasn't up for it? He was injured.
As for MW being better? That just confirms it as one of the worst posts on here ever!

24 Sep 2017 03:05:08
Some of the comments on here are the most insane I've seen since i started on this site haha. Starve the players! , bring bk walter in his 70s lol! , invest 30 mill? Wheres tht coming from?

Why don't we just keep rebuilding. I don't care what anyone says the first half was a big improvement than the other past few games we've came up against thm. Mby if we had wallace, alves, declan john it could hv been a diff outcome.

The first half ther wasnt much between the teams. Pena was actually not to bad he started a few counters with some good passing and had brown on his ars a few times. Ther was worse rangers players out there today.

Im still behind pedro and believe in what he's doing and i know there are many more the same. Were are still a season or 2 away from challenging for the title doesn't matter whos in charge we are rebuilding. Give the guy a full season at least.

24 Sep 2017 07:37:19
There was more progress in 3 games under a rookie like murty than with this clown. He is an embarrassment. He really is.

24 Sep 2017 09:04:12
Dutchy

If you seriously think we are ever going to challenge them with him in charge then you aren't in touch with reality. His team are terrified of them and we would rather not lose heavily than actually try and compete. Once again under him we didn't lay a glove on them, we stood off them let them play and allowed Brown to stroll about the park. It's an utter disgrace for any Rangers team to allow them to do that. We have now done that 3 times against them under him

24 Sep 2017 10:25:50
What a load ot tosh man! Pena was crap and Brown could have played with his eyes shut if he wanted

24 Sep 2017 12:07:35
Brown never kicked a ball in midfield he first half when Pena was on.

His swagger was after second goal when kenny came on.

24 Sep 2017 21:01:20
Absolutely spot on Sparky. They should have got their balls booted for the lack of fight. Get in their faces and hound them from whistle to whistle. Made me feel sick watching peanut Heid scanning around elbowing and getting away with it. So so so wish Ian Ferguson had been playing. No way that would have been happening. Raging!

24 Sep 2017 21:43:21
Im not in touch with reality now haha because i believe in a manager? Thts some arguement u hv lol. This just backs up the statement i made tht some peoples comments on here are stupid lol

24 Sep 2017 02:48:59
Why is everyone slating pena. He played well the first half and had brown on the decks a few times using his upper strength ans started a lot if counter attacks. 2nd half he was as bad as most of them out ther. I agree we should be getting mre from him but there were worse out there than him.

24 Sep 2017 20:55:09
Some comments on here are laughable. get a grip. pena will be good when match fit. mcrorie was brilliant. alfredo ran his socks off for lost causes. jack and dorrans did well. we are still missing afew bits off the jigsaw then will be challenging.
Walker, moult, McLean and a defender in for January and we will be solid.

24 Sep 2017 20:56:01
Don't waste your energy Dutchy, dorrans and jack get pass marks, even without the performance to match - especially on here.

Pena was not our worse player, windass was lacklustre in defence but hardly mentioned, dorrans forgot the difference between forward and backward as the majority of his play was not the attacking type he was billed to deliver.

The same folk will bring in Walker, moult, Cadden etc and mcinnes as manager with McLeish as DOF and ferguson as number two, a core of scotlands best is good, but they have a better core it seems as we can't get a player near a Scotland team that has been garbage for decades, really 'tried and tested in the league' is fair enough but scotlands mediocrity is reflected in the players, is this really the Rangers class we want?

24 Sep 2017 21:48:34
Good to see there are other guys on here that can see the real game lol. I don't know if half the people on here even watch the game or go. I think they just hear someone say he was shite and they come on here and repeat it lol!

24 Sep 2017 02:08:40
I hope we can all rally behind Pedro and the team. Changing manager will not help us this season. I am delighted to see Pedro's passion. Standing up to Brown and telling him he won't accept his antics was great. We have not seen a manager with that passion to defend his players and our club for a long long time. He's absolutely spot on by calling out the referee and all other decision makers in Scotland. He is being brave, making his decisions and standing by them whilst referees hide and fail to make theirs. He is defending our club while others mock us, so I'll defend him and stand by him

24 Sep 2017 07:22:00
At least someone stood up lol

24 Sep 2017 09:05:25
Pity though he has limited ability as a manager and spent £5m on 2 duds

24 Sep 2017 10:27:28
I think Peds comments abt Browns elbow was OTT there was nothing in it and it wasnt even a foul if u ask me

24 Sep 2017 21:52:39
Im backing ped too. I think most still are tbh.

23 Sep 2017 23:41:05
Disappointed with today's result. But really can't say it wasn't expected. We are still a long way off catching Celtic, and people talking about us having made big progress I struggle to see any evidence of this. When we played them in the Scottish cup semi final two seasons ago I thought we were excellent on that day, the difference from that game to today is huge, we hardly laid a glove on them today. Same old story concede possession far to easy and lack ideas going forward. Pena looks way off the pace, Herrera doesn't look like he's going to score many goals from what Iv seen so far. One Big positive from the season is Morelos though, think he will continue to score this season and become a top player.

24 Sep 2017 02:27:07
Correct. Morelos was murder today tho. how many times was he offside.
