If I'm wrong about Aberdeen lying down to Celtic then read the latest posts of what mciness is saying about Christie etc - absolutely pathetic from an Aberdeen manager and like some of the Rangers fans replies I agree- we dodged a bullet in not having him at ibrox.

Totally agree mate and i was very vocal about it at the time. Delboy mcinnes was never good enough to be the glasgow rangers manager. He's a choker in big games and a perennial bottler! Never wanted him, as he was never good enough! He even bottled it to take the rangers manager's job and as he portrayed to be a rangers diehard, that says it all!

The biggest difference today at Aberdeen will be the influence of McCrorie and Ferguson both of whom will never lie down to Celtic. If Aberdeen score first today and keep at them, I believe they will win. The main thing for me though is for us to win, if we keep it going, it doesn't matter what any other team does.

Saw a wee debate earlier arfield and Aribo thing. Aribo in my opinion plays better in midfield than he does on wing and shows signs of real skilful player when driving into opposing box. But in my opinion if we were playing a title decider with the unwashed tomorrow and it's arfield or Aribo I'd take arfield 100%.

I think Aribo is the long term replacement for Davis, I also think Aribo will be out first £15+m player sold.

I agree with your statement though, if we were playing then tomorrow it’s Arfield all the way.

I tend to agree with you both bgate w and bankie 👍I believe at this stage in both scotty arfield and joe aribo's careers, arfield would be the stronger minded in the position you would make your choice in a must win pressure game against them!

I honestly think that we are very lucky to be able to have a choice of who we play from one game to another, it just shows how the club and the team have actually moved forward in the last couple of years, we need a good competitive squad, that keeps the players on their toes and keeps them hungry, once a player has the shirt he doesn't want to lose it so he will try his best, and finally in my opinion its horses for courses in certain games especially against teams like Livingston, Kilmarnock etc, I for one will always respect and support the team and the manager whoever he picks.

Apparently since the game on Thursday 3 more players from SL have had positive C.V. tests one played one was an unused sub 🙈 hopefully none of our players get it.

Penrith bear, that would be a sensible Public health decision given the spikes over Europe. Hopefully our politicians and UEFA will see that to be the case. Individual Clubs can create and manage bubbles but when players from multiple clubs and different countries converge and live together for more than a week C.V. spread is inevitable.

Bankie I'm talking about european tournaments and going abroad to play in other countries. Just as bad, even with having the "bubble" which is a lot of p**h anyway. They all still go home at night to their families, who has been at another work/ school. Domestic should be only football going the now. Stick to the one country.

Agree 100%. Absolutely astonished on here that some continue their constant tirade against aribo and Morelos considering where we are this year. Yes aribo has been injured but only a fool can’t see the ability he has. Coldo, with regard to Morelos, you posted earlier that he has a new role, as a result of him not banging in the goals, and as a result he should be dropped. You can't have it all ways. In my opinion he is benefitting the team as a whole.

Tav, Barasic, Kamara, Goldson all had dips in form and quite a lot of posters wanted them sold. Morelos is also having a dip in form and the droppers and sellers are out in force. Now there will come a point where he will get dropped as his job is to score goals so when you drop or persevere is a tricky decision. Frustration is making it worse for him but he needs to realise its a team/ squad game and to bow out with grace and get back to training hard and he will get his chance. I think he has a bit of an ego which will add to his frustration when he not on from, look at his twitter, he's a big heed, needs knocked out of him, that's where i'd start (easier said than done, granted) and the goals will return. Egotistical players would probably thrive with our support maybe he's lost his edge cause the adoring crowd is gone, just a thought.

But his new role means he won't score as many goals🤭. Surely a ST that was banging goals in and had a potential value of 20mil would be of more benefit to club and the team rather than giving him a new role where he won't score goals therfore making his value plummet. That just doesn't make any sense at all. He hasn't been himself for a while and should be dropped👍.

So what you are saying is that he doesn't have a new role? SG has told him to continue to play the way he has always played and shoot on sight, be selfish and not pass to others?

Strange that he doesn't get hooked when he regularly runs away from the goals, appears at left back, takes touches at the half way line and sits on the bye line don't you think?

I recon than he is just a wee bit slow on the uptake - not too bright (how many footballers are? ) and has not quite settled 100% to the new role.

I'm confident that he will settle down and gain confidence and still score 25+ goals this season.

For me his demeanor is better, he celebrates with teammates, appears to be part of the group and looks to be far less moody than last year.

Of course what do I know - I have been consistent in supporting our captain when most others were ready to drive him down the motorway!

Even with one striker he can perform multiple roles depending on tactics. Last year Morelos would be found in the box more often than not looking to score but this season he is moving away from the goal - why do you think that is?

Perhaps he has developed a fear of goalkeepers or decided that he doesn't enjoy scoring goals anymore?

What about Tav and Goldson? Does seem strange that our RB has scored more than our forwards?

Are they playing a new role or just ignoring the manager and scoring goals just to annoy him and wind up Morelos?

Maybe you have wondered what they draw on the board when brining on a sub, could it be their dinner choices or maybe the positions and moves that they are expected to play in the formation as the game progresses?
