horrible fear stevie g looking out for stevie g's future and not rangers future. no youth developement and loan players playing all time while guys that we own ie. katic middleton mccrorie not getting game time. ps i know katic was gash at hamilton but stevie g just destroyed his confidence by taking him off.

24 Oct 2018 21:20:52
hope you are drunk mate, get a grip.

24 Oct 2018 21:35:38
No youth development, are you for real, he only started the job in June, give the man a chance.

25 Oct 2018 00:46:22
@gerforlife - Of course Gerrard will be thinking of his own future but he won't have a decent managerial career if he doesn't do well with us.
Who would you drop for Middleton? Now I really like him as a player but he isn't starting in front of Kent who is absolutely flying at the moment.
I like Katic but he's on a par with Worrell so I'll go with the managers decision on that one.

Coulibally in my eyes is better than young Ross at this moment in time.
I'm hoping you are at the wind up or that your account has been hacked by one of the unwashed because that's the type of Colin Nish they normally come away with!

25 Oct 2018 02:20:07
Words fail me🙃👍.

25 Oct 2018 07:56:15
guys your getting reeled in here this clown is timothy.

25 Oct 2018 12:40:13
Gents don’t be kidded by the comments no youth system
a mate of mine is a youth coach at Ibrox and some of the stuff he is working on is fantastic and SG is involved all the way through the club
Make no mistakes Rangers and making significant progress in all departments it will take time but
our club are on an upward trajectory and planning
For the year ahead.

25 Oct 2018 12:49:39
The o. p is a deodorant boycotting soap dodging type of guy ignore his patter.

25 Oct 2018 13:43:22
McCrorie is better than rossiter.

25 Oct 2018 17:43:27
McCorie is a better defender than JR age ain’t a better midfielder, anyone that thinks otherwise should give up watching football.

24 Oct 2018 16:46:16
Why dosnt someone at ibrox start a petition against the fat rats company about buying RFC football kit . surely if they took a petition with thousands of signatures refusing to buy from these shops and the club would run at a loss and the High Court would have to acknowledge this.

24 Oct 2018 17:57:30
Worst idea I have ever heard.

It’s a water tight contract Ashley has, so it doesn’t matter how many signatures you get.

I really worry about people sometimes.

24 Oct 2018 17:57:40
Why does dave king keep costing our club money, by trying to do things against what's down in black and white! Ashley is a very hard person to get the better of! He's got the best lawyers working for him!

24 Oct 2018 18:43:41
It's all good coops dk17 etc will have it chalked up as a win for us and all part of super davey's masterplan.

24 Oct 2018 18:59:40
Not often I agree with you coop.

24 Oct 2018 20:46:14
So I take it Sports Direct will now become our official kit supplier and JD will be removed? I honestly don’t understand any of this guys😭🇬🇧.

24 Oct 2018 21:30:24
I think we need better lawyers. That’s about 750K in two lost cases. I’ll not buy the top out of sports direct.

24 Oct 2018 23:48:54
Unfortunately that’s not the way the law works. It doesn’t matter how many people state they are unhappy, it doesn’t negate a legal document.

24 Oct 2018 23:36:18
Of course iits part of the game . you never know, the judge might have just ruled in our favour . what would you rather do lie down and let Ashley wee over all of us . we can’t win all the time.

25 Oct 2018 02:24:40
Look I don't like the fact that we are losing money on court fee's but we need to back the board, king and co are trying to rid us of the rat. Yip we have lost some fights but stick together, support the board and the club and we will win the war👍.

25 Oct 2018 06:43:13
Coldo, tell me mate how in this merchandise fiasco, can we get rid of ashley, as he has a watertight agreement on this? We can't keep throwing money down a drain if we're unable to win, which of course we're not! Ashley and his cohorts, have this agreement in stone mate! Our legal time most definitely, from the outside looking in, look to be clearly out their depth and pissing against the wind with this one! The fat guy definitely has the top lawyers here, working for him! I'm totally behind our board and praise them with certain things they've put right, at our club, but this certainly ain't one of their better decisions! Our legal team surely to god, should have known that ashley had it in the deal, to have the chance, in matching any other merchandise deal! We can't keep ignoring this and just going ahead and hemorrhaging money, at some tune!
Its a pure waste!

25 Oct 2018 07:52:49
Ashley's contract won't mean a thing if all Gers fans boycott his stores and nobody buys anything from SD. He probably wouldn't bother given his wealth but at least we wouldn't be adding to it! This contract must have an end date surely?

25 Oct 2018 08:18:46
Super, what would you do? Fighting them in court is our only option as far as I can see. We obviously think we can win on a point of law, where it won't be black and white as some have suggested, and has to go to a Judge to make a Judgment on said point of law. Any sane, morally intact, fair, reasonable person knows that the sports direct deal is not the best for the club and not wanted by anyone connected to our club but that is not ashley so it has to go through the courts. To the posters who blame this board for this debacle, I say again, what would you do?

25 Oct 2018 09:56:44
God knows how we get rid of the rat, the contracts do look like they are water tight. Our lawyers look to be tied up in knots but I'd rather keep fighting than bow to that rat. A judge at some point has to this rat for what it is👍.

25 Oct 2018 10:12:12
moaning about court fees, would you rather have Ashley, green, whyte in charge asset stripping the club bare again.

25 Oct 2018 10:48:12
Our legal team should know what to do! What are they our legal team for, if they don't know what they're doing?

25 Oct 2018 11:10:35
Totally agree Coldo, Super, I say again what WOULD you do not what you would NOT do.
This is not black and white as the SD deal is detrimental to Rangers and I assume that's the point our lawyers are arguing but we are losing on points of law. This will change when we prove it is damaging the club. I doubt our lawyers are idiots and our case will have strengthened every time we go to court.

25 Oct 2018 11:18:06
Look coops what do you want? They are trying to rid us of the rat, it was never going to be easy. No one knows what the details are because of the gagging order. Now why would you want a gagging order? Because the rat knows if the details were public knowledge then there would be more unwanted heat on the rat. The rat has been hauled infront of parliament for his dealings. 👍.

25 Oct 2018 13:46:24
Think all the guys defending the board again are conveniently forgetting we paid 3m to gethe out of sd contract and our glorious chairman's statement"sports direct are gone, finished, we don't deal with them anymore" we've now pai out over 4m and counting that we can't afford to lose. It's a farce, sbsolute amateur hour and the fact some of you are still defending him baffles me it really does.

25 Oct 2018 15:41:55
Frustrated bear has hit the nail on the head.

24 Oct 2018 13:43:17
Another court case lost! The clubs solicitors must be the most incompetent in history,

24 Oct 2018 15:53:10
That's more money down the swanny as we need to cover legal fees of around £250k for SD and apparently there's another hearing scheduled to look at potentially awarding damages to SD - when does it end?

I appreciate there's nothing supporters can do about legal proceedings but you have to feel for our supporters that have ordered tops some time ago and have heard next to nothing about the order they have not recieved due to poor communication.

Thankfully things on the park are under better stewardship than our legal dept and overall the club is going in the right direction!

24 Oct 2018 16:25:47
Who is paying the court costs this time? The club or Dave?

24 Oct 2018 16:52:31
Blueberry the club, why would a minority shareholder pay.

24 Oct 2018 18:46:55
It's always the club, Dave King would have us all believe he's pumping endless supplies of money in but he's probably cost us more in court cases against Ashley than he's contributed. Time to step aside has done all he can, thinks he's above the law and can do what he wants. thanks but time to go Dave king.

24 Oct 2018 18:58:40
Exactly my point jboy21. The club is paying for the cost of incompetence. Who is to blame? How difficult is it for businessmen, lawyers to read a contract? We got told this was sorted ages ago. Didn't we pay £3m to get out of the old contract? We might have to pay damages (according to sky sports) more money.

24 Oct 2018 19:51:19
When are we ever going to get rid of Ashley and what exactly did we pay for £3 million for? I'm getting sick and tired of hearing his name.

24 Oct 2018 23:47:43
Or we pick the wrong battles! 😭😱😭.

25 Oct 2018 02:30:11
Get rid of king? Who is going to take his place? Ashley wants the board to crumble and give in, the rat wants our club. Honestly some folk on here defy logic. We need to get rid of that rat or would you rather have trash **** sports direct logo's all over ibrox. 👍.

25 Oct 2018 13:49:52
Dave king said when he paid Ashley 3m we were done with them coldo mate. We're now over 4m down the swanny and counting. Almost half of our new kit deal money gone in one fell swoop.

25 Oct 2018 16:43:01
FB, king is by no means perfect and yip I totally agree that the kit fiasco is a circus. We have made huge strides as a club under king, albeit this ashley carry on continues to hold us back. King is fighting our corner. Have faith mate👍.

24 Oct 2018 09:08:07
The SFA doesn't have a clue and is corrupt and incompetent. The cock-up with the League Cup semi-finals is only one example. They surely have the money to help the teams with plastic pitches to revert to grass? Maybe the Scottish government can offer grants to install undersoil heating. Also, the Premiership should be increased to 18 teams playing each other twice in a season, the way it used to be in the old first division. As it stands that would mean the likes of Ayr, Inverness, Ross County and Dundee Utd being in the top flight. The whole structure of the SFA needs cleaning out and rebuilt. Too many with anti-Rangers sentiments making decisions about Scottish football. Rant over about SFA. Last point about Hearts. They are six points clear and aren't going to be as easy as people thought to dislodge from the top. Let's see what the table looks like at Christmas!

24 Oct 2018 09:40:06
What a total incompetent bunch they are the smartest thing they have in the SFA Office’s is their smart phones!

24 Oct 2018 11:08:02
The League cup is an spfl debacle, nothing to do with the sfa.
Plastic pitches are horrendous, but they are also allowed in uefa competitions. They should be banned in all top flight competitions in my opinion, but the sfa will just say they are following uefa guidelines and helping financially struggling teams. Now that rangers are back, the teams are making more money, and hopefully pitches will be replaced. I heard Killie are going to grass next season.

{Ed001's Note - they require special permission to use them in UEFA competitions.}

24 Oct 2018 12:21:43
Doiger

Do you really think Sky will offer the same money with 2 less old firm games? Also losing games against Aberdeen, Hesrts and Hibs wouldn’t go down well either. Agree it’s not ideal but can’t see why anyone would want to support Scottish football with so many meaningless matches that an 18 team top league would bring.

24 Oct 2018 21:32:18
The sfa’s smart phones are probably Nokia 3210.

25 Oct 2018 00:19:23
Belter of a phone, used to love a game of snake! That was cutting edge technology back in my youth 😂😂😂.

24 Oct 2018 23:41:51
The SFA couldn’t afford to buy Hampden from Queens Park so I doubt they can afford to help clubs maintain grass pitches!

24 Oct 2018 23:51:40
Outside hearts and maybe hibs, the club's rely on the old firms travelling support for cash so don't think a larger league will ever happen.

24 Oct 2018 23:48:40
Arthur, you say so many meaningless games, ain't that the same in every league then?

Review Of The Day 24th October 2018

24 Oct 2018 07:29:09
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 24th October 2018

24 Oct 2018 12:03:28
Doiger league cup nothing to do with SFA and as far as Scottish government giving grants for under soil heating can't see that happening when there's people can't heat their houses.

23 Oct 2018 21:29:08
Thank you for clarifying Burn bank but surely there must be conflict of interest and therefore illegality somewhere. If El Buffalo say gets injured on these **** surfaces and Rangers pursue a case for danger, not fit for purpose which may well be upheld, I dunno given number of injuries, player revulsion to surface this might frighten Killie et al to relay. because living in Killie there 3 public grass surfaces they could train on.
Might be talking garbage but would appreciate bears response.

24 Oct 2018 07:47:49
Killie are going back to grass next season.

24 Oct 2018 09:16:20
THE problem being it should be mandatory to play on grass not voluntarily.

24 Oct 2018 16:53:28
Goalie, heard this re killie, also pray Hamilton go down.

24 Oct 2018 17:37:17
Jboy21. It was Billie Bowie who installed that plastic pitch but he's had his return on it, ie - rugby matches concerts (Rod Stewart) . As you say i hope the others follow.

24 Oct 2018 18:49:35
It's simply a money maker as they can hire park outd all week for extra income.

24 Oct 2018 23:30:03
Millerbrandwilson I doubt, if the past few days are anything to go by, that this reply will make it to you as they have stopped publishing anything I post. I don't see conflict of interest or indeed illegality anywhere here. Rangers and every other club allowed these pitches to be introduced so they can't now claim they are illegal. Players are insured by the club against injury, and of course it's a fact that there are not many more injuries on plastic pitches than on grass. However, that statistic does not take into consideration the severity of injury, which I think is the main problem. Plastic pitches are not conducive to proper professinal football, players have to react differently to almost every bounce of the ball, teams almost flood their pitch to further alter the playing mode of the surface, and they are outlawed in most leagues. It should be like undersoil heating, grass only or no promotion to the top flight.
