this sisse looks a good player quite skillful good control a don't think he score alot of goals but he sets alot of goals up and i reckon he is more a winger but he looks good

Believable11 Unbelievable0

The other trialist was supposedly fantastic as well and wasn't signed as their is no money available. Looks like another smoke screen by the whyte knight, frozen accounts- no cash flow, is everyone that stupid or are we just burying our heads in the sand?

Somebody should make an e-petition to have Ian Black kicked out of Scottish football lol. Seriously though one of the dirtiest players I have ever seen.

GovanFR

Believable13 Unbelievable0

I have been saying this for years, before he went to hearts. not only that but he tackles like a coward, either when a player is already down, or a cowartdly stamp on the achilles from behind... and it is deliberate every time, two weeks after Jelavic last season, he had a two-footed lung on a celtic player who was down injured last season, and as far as am aware never even got booked....Unfortunately its only ever highlighted, and described as clumsy on TV.

The guy is a weasel

Some Joe Sise clips just to have a wee look, not really much to look at as there's not much footage of him but in the clips scored a great header so his height is a big asset.

I just watched the BBC highlights of the game yesterday. I noticed they showed a highlight of Whittaker supposedly fowling Templeton once he was booked to make it look as though he should've been sent off. Yet Ian Black didn't get a sing;e highlight. Did anyone else wonder why Black wasn't booked early on, he put in a couple of challenges similar to Whittakers and wasn't booked for it. Strange/

GovanFR

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Well the BBC are just biased as I thought, the same as you, that black should have had about 15 yellow cards in just that game.

Agree4 Disagree1

Didn't notice that they highlighted the Whittaker thing and missed out all of Black's rubbish but well spotted. The BBC are a disgrace and I like Whyte not taking rubbish from anybody. Ian Black is the dirtiest player in Scotland, I was saying that as I was watching the game yesterday, he's a dirty growler and a very average player. Why did he kiss the badge on the way off to the Rangers fans when we couldn't care less? It was us who won 2-0 lol, embarrassing.

Agree4 Disagree0

We all noticed it..what more do you expect. he had 4 bookable fouls in the first half..did you also notice everytime we went near them they went down and surprise surprise the ref gave a freekick.

Agree2 Disagree0

Im glad we got that game out the way with that idiot black sliding studs up into every player putting their career at risk

Agree2 Disagree0

Lets not lower ourselves to blaming everyone but ourselves, if we wanted to do that we would be supporting the plague. Be thankful you were brought up properly.

Agree2 Disagree0

Lets not lower ourselves to blaming everyone but ourselves, if we wanted to do that we would be supporting the plague. Be thankful you were brought up properly.

It is not a matter of blaming ourselves. The BBC chose to omit incidents that would have suggested Ian Black should have been sent off yet they included footage to suggest Whittaker should have been.

Feel free to make the BBC aware of the omitted Ian Black highlights.

Espn broadcast the game and they showed the same incident bbc used their coverage.chill out lads we don't want to go down the celic route everyones against us we have as wattie would say CLASS & CHARACTER

Was going to post a comment about Ian Black earlier this season after the idiot was sent off for a shocking tackle on Keith Lasley, but thought i was being a bit paranoid. However, yesterday was a classic example of why the guy should be nowhere near a football pitch. Taking into account the foul that lead to Jelavic missing 3/4 months last season, the tackle on Lasley and his assault on diouf on his debut for us last season, i am serious when i say this animal will ruin someones career shortly. It took that ref 6 mis timed tackles for him to book Black, yet Whittaker was given a yellow after his 3rd foul. Is that fair? Are refs that bit more tolerant with black because of his reputation as a midfield "stomper" , not my description, but Mr Craig Burley's. Who stated that Black is just that type of player, is that a player who is good for injuring 4/5 players a season Craig? Fed up watching this guy and worrying who he may injure. Am i the only 1?
J1985

Believable5 Unbelievable1

The most worrying thing for players playing against Black, is that ALL ref's know the type of tackles the clogger put's in, game after game. I agree, he is not far away from seriously injuring someone, and I jjust cannot believe that his yellow / red ratio is not the worst in the SPL ?? A bomb scare footballer he is !

Agree1 Disagree0

He's a dirty little barsteward, its not that his tackles are mistimed, he deliberately goes in to hurt players. We should bring back big Dunc the next time we play the Jambo's and let him knock 7 shades of s**te out of Black.

Gerry The Ger.

Agree2 Disagree0

Ian Black is one of the dirtiest people and football players. He put another scissor challenge on Naismith toward the end of the game similar to the one he injured Jelavic with. Am I right in thinking he was also arrested in relation to drug charges.
Kick Ian Black out of Scottish football.

If anyone is interested in the HMRC case read this -
On the official HMRC website they are offering an amnesty for company's who used Employee Benefit Trusts (which is what they are claiming Rangers did) as they know there is a good chance they will lose any court case. If people settle they admit they done wrong so wont be able to claim their money back of Rangers win their cases. Arsenal were told they owed £300 million and HMRC accepted £10 million as a settlement. This is why Whyte is so confident in winning the tax case. What Rangers did was classed as tax avoidance which is perfectly legal - only tax evasion is illegal. Please share this with all Rangers pages to start to get some positivity about the tax case - it isn't as bad as it is being made out! Check the official link if you feel this isn't true......

maybe i got this wrong as im not sure how administration works but is it not basically a outside source comes in a slashes bills, sell assets to try get majority of the money back? is this not what lloyds done for 2 years?

as long as debt is wiped or HRMC get the money they are "owed" rangers fc would still exist. if worse case scenario he loses the case i would rather be minus 20 or so points (and to be honest the way celtic are playing we would make grund back up) than playing in division 3 and being called rangers utd

The start of the season has been decidedly underwhelming for Glasgow Celtic, as they sit ten points off Scottish Premier League leaders Rangers after just ten games, and lurch in and out of the Europa League like a drunken street brawler, taking demoralising blows against almost all opponents.

It seems, like in the Europa League, where Celtic were reinstated after Swiss Club FC Sion were found guilty of fielding ineligible players, they might be gifted some unbelievable luck in the SPL too should Glasgow Rangers’ case over a 49 Million pound tax bill go against them.

That would almost certainly force Rangers into administration, a result that would see them suffer a point’s deduction.

While Rangers ‘bullish new owner Craig Whyte continues to insist that he is confident of winning both legal cases currently facing the club, you would be forgiven for thinking the Revenue do not undertake such cases lightly.

But the ‘misunderstandings’ faced by Sion and Rangers have merely created a smokescreen for the downward spiral occurring in the East End of Glasgow.

Despite a very promising end to last season, lifting the Scottish Cup and pushing Rangers all the way in the title race, they now find themselves adrift in the unfamiliar position of third place, four points behind the mighty Motherwell, albeit with two games in hand.

Previous Celtic teams would never find themselves three goals down against Kilmarnock in the first place, so the team cannot justify celebrating an unlikely comeback in any fashion.
It seems to me that this season the dire European campaign is a distraction the Hoops could do without, with Rangers free to concentrate fully on their domestic campaign. It has not gone un-noticed that each of Celtic’ three defeats this season have come after European games, a trend that was curbed on Sunday when they beat Aberdeen 2-1.

At the heart of the current crisis, is, as usual, a chronic lack of foresight and investment by the current board. With Rangers having been in financial limbo for the last few seasons, Celtic matched their cross city rivals self destruction by expensively courting the man no one else wanted, Tony Mowbray and then, letting him rip the heart out of team before quickly and ignominiously departing.

As a result, Lennon was admittedly left with a great deal to do upon his arrival but the initial impetus his passionate approach brought has died down and reality has set in.

The current squad is simply not good enough to compete on a domestic level, with the dead wood cleared out by Lennon replaced inadequately by bargain basement deals from the Championship.

The days of rubbing shoulders and competing with the likes of Barcelona and Milan in Parkhead in the Champions League seem like a very distant era.

We’ve all heard endlessly of the lack of TV money in the Scottish game, but if Celtic wants to ever return to the lucrative stages of European competition, investment is a must.

Not surprisingly, revenue was down last year for Celtic, partly due to the briefness of their European involvement, and Celtic surely cannot rely on the enormous loyalty of their fans forever.

It is a remarkable testament to that loyalty that the Hoops can rake in so much from season ticket sales year after year.

But that will surely change should Celtic fail to even compete domestically this year. With their hands firmly in their pockets, the financial “prudence” of the board may finally kill the golden goose that is the twenty million or so from season ticket sales.

we welcome the chase

no wonder Whyte is confident with Arsenal having an estimated £300 million liability and only paying a settlement of £10 mill and HMRC now offering the deal to all with the provision that nobody who takes deal can sue them back (LOL) NEVER won a case and NEVER will on EBT's perfectly legal tax managment scheme (facts and figures confusing them since 1888)

Napoleon when selecting a general said is he good or is he lucky, Give me a lucky general everytime. neil lennon is unlucky, physically, dentally and professionally. Thats why we will be celebrating around april/may time. They'll deduct 10+ points if we go in to administration thats the only way that the league race can become interesting

Rangers have invited Sweden Under-21 striker Joe Sise to train with the club.

Ally McCoist has confirmed that moves are underway to take the Halmstads forward to Murray Park, allowing him to assess whether or not he will make a bid for the player.

“We are hoping to get him over this week to have a look at him in training,” the Rangers manager said following his side’s 2-0 win over Hearts.

Sise will be out of contract next month, allowing Rangers to sign the player with only training compensation being paid to Halmstads, who signed the 21-year old from Snostorp Nyhem in 2008.

“We are hoping to get him over this week to have a look at him in training.”

The 6 foot 4 forward, who can play on either wing or through the middle, has scored four goals in this season’s Allsvenskan. He earned two Under-21 caps in 2010 but has not been involved in recent international squads. He played the full second half as Sweden drew 1-1 with Scotland in August 2010.
