Doiger I will send you a steak pie from blackadders,

As long as you promise to remain 500 miles from Glasgow.

24 Nov 2020 22:40:49
These steak pies must be something else Tomthumb12 👍 I must sample mate 👌.

25 Nov 2020 00:04:17
£15, for a two man pie sgl,
Not cheap, good gravy and pastry though and as a coinnasuer of good food there's a good butcher in Muirhead, again not cheap mate, and i'm told the butcher at Govan market does a great steak n sausage pie, can't beat that if its good,

25 Nov 2020 06:03:35
Where does a nice jelly and ice cream?

25 Nov 2020 08:11:00
Glad to see that healthy eating still prevails in Scotland. lol. The steak and sausage pie sounds awesome. If wee Krankie hadn't closed the border I'd be driving up there now to get my pies. Anybody want to meet me at the border?

25 Nov 2020 12:45:30
SGL take a trip over to blackadders u won’t be disappointed.

24 Nov 2020 22:02:05
Great to see young boys Kelly and Kennedy receive very good reviews from their on loan managers.

25 Nov 2020 13:37:05
Yes i read about Kennedy doing well. Nice to see robertson comment on his strength of character.

Promising player who i hope can be involved at times next season.

25 Nov 2020 20:51:22
Bankie, i also seen the good reports mate, though i hope we get both to commit, i'm not so sure young kennedy will, though i hope i'm mega wrong about that.

24 Nov 2020 20:02:57
Did any of you boys see the stats posted by Sky Sports regarding Rangers start to the season?!

24 Nov 2020 20:29:36
No I missed it, I’m assuming it made good reading?

24 Nov 2020 13:01:36
A wee thanks to yourself John25, for giving me and many other fellow bears on here,
the info on that kieran mcguire podcast regarding our finances on YouTube 👍I found it superb mate and proved that it isn't as bad as some would have/ want you to believe, ie. guess who 🤔👀? Cheers again mate 👍.

24 Nov 2020 13:11:03
I'm going to give this a watch👍.

24 Nov 2020 13:56:14
Its pretty simple to be honest, the investors are investing short term to build a product that will be self sustainable from european income and other markets abroad in terms of merchandise. The castore retail deal is obviously pivotal. However should the champions league be unreachable then we will eventually have to cut our cloth to suit. I don't feel that we have to sell in the next window but its not scare mongering as you put it coop to realise that we will have to sell. Our model is to buy low sell high. The champions league group stages would be the gold mine. 👍.

24 Nov 2020 14:20:35
Well done on that info John .
A great asset to this forum .
If the Isle of Mull is around it might be a good read for him as the guy was always having nightmares about our finance, although still celebrating our wins (due to our current business model ) I may add.
Thank you Mr King . never forget or forgotten.

24 Nov 2020 14:22:34
Thanks sgl. It puts a lot into context. Particularly from someone not connected to our club.

24 Nov 2020 14:43:46
You can always trust John25 to post sense and point the uninformed in the right direction. 👍.

24 Nov 2020 15:09:34
Hi John, I watched it myself last night after you had posted, and just like his newspaper interview, the guy came across very well and put across a professional, balanced and credible breakdown on how this is not all doom and gloom that certain quarters are making it out to be.
Guy's like Kieran who have no agenda and who specialize in this are the ones we should listen to, not buzz the bum or phil mcgobs@#*e!

24 Nov 2020 15:11:57
Coldo every club will sell if its an offer they can't refuse and that's what ross wilson was brought in for.
Finding talented players nurturing them with gerrard and his backroom team into better players, eventually selling them on for big profits and then finding the next talent to take his place. It is SCAREMONGERING at the minute, for some to suggest we NEED to sell one of our better/ most sought after players in january, which indeed is definitely not the case in the short term! Of course we are a selling club if we believe the offer is correct for our club, the player in question and all parties, that goes without saying mate 👍.

24 Nov 2020 15:13:04
I really enjoyed the podcast from Kieran mcquire John25 👍.

24 Nov 2020 15:16:32
Coldo, it is SCAREMONGERING to suggest we have to sell a top player in january though mate 🤔Thats what i'm saying! Surely to god all bears know that we're a selling club when everything is right and all the parties are happy. Its a conveyor belt and we go and nurture the next young talent, sell him and so on!

24 Nov 2020 15:58:22
I undoubtedly believe we have a good few prize assets in our squad ATM 👌
I happen to think that ryan kent is our most prized asset and will eventually be sold for a fee north of £20million, IMHO! The wee man will only get better and better and we may get that dredded offer come the summer for kent, that we just can't turn down. Then of course it would be entirely up to kent and his new agent, his brother casper, if they want to go to the buying club in question 🤔He's an extremely talented footballer, so he is and unfortunately is going to attract massive interest!

24 Nov 2020 16:42:29
I never mentioned January coop. I said we don't need to sell in the next window. I said its not scare mongering to realise that we will have to sell at some point as this is our business model and will help us become self sustainable. 👍.

24 Nov 2020 16:43:24
Unfortunately the champions league is tough to qualify for year in year out, this can't be a trusted area for revenue imo.

24 Nov 2020 16:44:20
Anyone think Kennedy should be on the bench on Sunday.? A few goals up bring him on.

24 Nov 2020 16:52:42
Coops, looks like your having a conversation with yourself. You are correct no one will be sold in January, unless can find a buyer for the likes of Jones, and likely 2 players will be sold in the Summer. I would say most likely Morelos and Barasic. Expect Kent to be at Ibrox for next 18 months.

24 Nov 2020 17:21:38
I agree with coldo on this one and it’s not like me at all.
I haven’t seen anyone say we need to sell in jan.

I haven’t seen this video but will have a look.

24 Nov 2020 17:22:51
Correct sweep. 👍.

24 Nov 2020 17:26:36
Efriar Kennedy is at inverness.

24 Nov 2020 17:43:22
I hope you're correct bankie and kent remains a rangers player for at least the next 18 months 🙏
Coldo, january is the next window mate and the reason i mentioned january in the first place, was because some on here reckoned after the realease of our £15.9million loss from our accounts, that we would need to sell a top player in january 🤔 I only then suggested its SCAREMONGERING to assume we'd need to sell one of our top players in january and it is SCAREMONGERING if anyone assumes we do need to mate,
quite simply!

24 Nov 2020 18:41:53
This is not a rumour but the opinion of an ex director, so no different from most on here.
He reckons our model is good, it is his view Morelos and kamara will go for close to 30 million.
He says we r working very hard to bring in Lundstrum, Murphy on bosmans as January signings
He also reckons that one more top name would come in as a centre forward, it is his opinion that the man wilson is absolute key to what we do.

24 Nov 2020 18:59:30
McGuire isn’t really saying anything that Dave King hasn’t been saying since he took control.

We were never an overnight fix - a 5 year project to achieve sustainable success was always the plan but too many fans refused to buy into the plan and doubted Kings credentials.

Look at some of the responses on here since the results were announced - some still think our board are charlatans.

We have the same issue with sunshine supporters who could not see the bigger picture, threw in the towel after 6 games this season, wanted our manager and captain sacked and will no doubt be full of doom and gloom when we lose two games in a row.

I have ranted many times that supporters should support through thick and thin and that we have been on the right upwards path (with bumps) since SG was installed as manager.

24 Nov 2020 19:15:26
Ross Wilson is certainly making his presence felt at Ibrox, and so far, he's ticking all the boxes.
I can't remember where, but there was am article on Ross Wilson where someone was waxing lyrical about the job he is doing. The article also mentioned his predecessor, and highlighted the differences in the way the two of them go about their work praising Wilson, but saying Mark Allen was more interested in getting himself in the papers crowing about what he's done, or what he's going to do.

24 Nov 2020 19:18:06
Agree DK19, hopefully more supporters get it now.

24 Nov 2020 19:23:31
John25,if you don't mind me asking mate, did the ex director say anything regarding ryan kent being possibly sold in the summer 🤔I assume he was meaning the summer for morelos and kamara being possibly sold for the £30million mate 🤔.

24 Nov 2020 19:24:54
Gus57 stated we'd need to sell in january! Did you just scroll past that 🤔😁.

24 Nov 2020 19:41:37
No he did not say anything re Kent or barisic. It was more about the Kieran McGuire report our discussion was centred on. Moves were for summer.
And our poor golf.

24 Nov 2020 19:46:11
Dk good response, I always said king was in as the Rottweiler to rid the club of certain individuals.
I thank him for that.
Guys like wolthardt, Scott and Gibson, have more finesse and contacts in Asia to move us to next level.
I sincerely hope we bring Mr King back to unfurl flag for 55.

24 Nov 2020 19:48:59
Has anyone heard from Isle of Mull. I hope he and his family are in good health in these difficult times.

24 Nov 2020 20:34:57
Agree John25, King came in and sorted out the mess caused by others. I believe we owe him so much. Let’s get ready for Benfica now.

24 Nov 2020 21:11:51
My sentiments also John25 🤞I hope isle of mull and his family are safe and in good health from this terrible, aggressive virus 🙏I hope everyone is in good health and can stay clear of this virus. I work around it and unfortunately have had it myself. It's a terrible virus i can assure everyone 👎 There's a helluva lot of people who've unfortunately passed away with this virus and others hospitalised with it, which was much worse than me and i felt terrible the strain i had, in trying to fight it off. I still feel the effects of having it 👎.

24 Nov 2020 21:21:42
This is not a new thing vital been in place for some time now, I know kieron vaguely from my dealings with his university dept, i'm not aware of anyone saying Rangers had to sell in jan, but they have to sell at some point, as do celtic and most other clubs, this is the model, nothing new, but the proper people are in the correct departments now and proper business footing has been implemented some time ago, and the buying of the right types of playing staff is a major part of that, but I would fully expect Rangers to cash in on at least 2 players next summer, i don't see any players doing a " Tierney.

24 Nov 2020 21:43:27
SGL terrible aggressive virus You do know that it has a 99.96% survival rate don’t you?

24 Nov 2020 21:58:57
Ask the ED, for all those who didn't read or see, that some on here posted that with the loss we may need to sell one of our top players in january 🤔ED, can you please enlighten if some did say this mate?
I can assure you i posted yesterday on some assumptions that we would probably need to sell in january but some never seen or read it, mmmmm😂.

{Ed033's Note - yes, some did say this.

24 Nov 2020 21:59:36
What's wrong with you KJA9 🤔You don't need to try and educate me on what this virus does to people and the devestation it causes their families! What are you honestly all about and i would post more to what i really do think of you, but the ED would ban me and probably wouldn't pass it on the first place. You go and say that to families that have lost loved ones! I've looked on at what this virus does, so don't ever call me out on it pal and that's as polite to you as i'm willing to be!
I really need to bite my lip here ED with people like this character.

24 Nov 2020 22:08:14
Kj, please don't retort to you being " picked out" but you have stated this so many times that its shocking, 99% survival eh? Over 50 million deaths, and climbing rapidly, many millions suffering life changing after effects forever, hospitals around the globe at breaking point, nurses doctors and staff falling by the sword daily, and yet someone actually says 99% survival rate, not for those 50 million though eh mate? Or the hundreds in scotland living with terrible sickness forever, absolutely shocking, but with a survival rate of 99,9 % why worry, sorry mate, as a man whos wife and necessary are nurses, I find it shocking, and I would like to add i was told today that a guy who used to work with me is on z Vent, with C.V. pneumonia, still he must have a 99% chance then eh.

24 Nov 2020 22:36:46
KJ are you for real?

24 Nov 2020 22:56:43
KJ, time to wise up mate.

The facts and figures quoted by the ONS about survival rates, average mortality age (82), false positive results etc are clearly wrong because people on here know better.

As for the death rate in the U. K. over the past month being lower than the 10 year average - no relevance cause my mate Jimmy knows someone who’s neighbour heard differently

52% of deaths in care homes - can’t be true so do t even go there.

Everyone entitled to an opinion unless it’s the wrong one in which case the likely lads will shoot you down, call you names and question your sanity.

25 Nov 2020 07:32:24
50 million deaths Tom? 😳
Are you for real posting that nonsense?
1.5 million deaths worldwide in 190 countries.
59 million positive cases workdwide.

25 Nov 2020 16:38:55
The more you read into C.V. and research it the weirder it gets 1🤔 seems to have slashed the number of cancer deaths amongst other things. figures are so fudged its unbelievable.

25 Nov 2020 20:52:47
Tom Thumb, 1.5 million people have died worldwide, not 50 million.

24 Nov 2020 12:58:47
Hi

Another big game/ test against Benfica on Thursday and it would be nice to win but a draw would be fine.

To qualify is the main target, to earn money for our great club but it would be difficult to go any further.

We have a squad of players good enough to challenge in both leagues but the premier league is always our main target.

The Celtic fans can't wait for us to slip up anywhere, let's try and keep them waiting.

24 Nov 2020 15:17:52
Forget what the anthill mob want mate, its all about the rangers, simple as that 👍.

24 Nov 2020 16:45:01
Losing to benfica isn't a slip up, celtic would lose heavily home and away to a team the standard of benfica, they couldn't even beat Prague reserves.

24 Nov 2020 17:44:38
Forget celtic sweep1 for god's sake!

24 Nov 2020 18:01:14
I'm replying to the poster who mentioned celtic.

24 Nov 2020 18:03:12
Why you getting so upset with what I say Steven Gerrard loyal? If you don't like what I'm saying scroll past. You clearly have different opinions than me but I don't need to be told by you, give it a break man.

24 Nov 2020 19:00:17
You're most definitely correct there sweep1,i most definitely have different opinions to your good self pal🤔.

24 Nov 2020 22:08:55
Most definitely 👍.

24 Nov 2020
New image uploaded to the
Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, This is what was dumped at Parkhead after their Hibs draw.

24 Nov 2020 10:39:55
Sorry Davie, I was still laughing at your farcical posts that I missed your question.

Within the Scotland team I believe the following are good enough for Rangers:

- Robertson
- Tierney
- McGinn
- Dykes (I’m sold now but not at the time he was linked)
- Armstrong
- Christie
- McGregor

Now, the m not saying I want the last 2 at Rangers, only that (from the Scotland squad) I think they’re both good enough to be at Rangers.

Now which EPL club are you loaning Morelos to in order to sell him for £50m (yes £50m 😂😂😂😂)? Man City are looking, would that suit your business model?

24 Nov 2020 11:01:27
Sir rock katic, as I said before instead of selling merelos loan him out to a epl team for a season and if he's banging the goals in down there as he is up here then a team will defenitly pay 50 + million for a striker that's scored 20 + goals in epl. To your question who. I'd imagine other than top 6 teams the rest would bite your hand off for a loan for a player that's nailing it in spl and europa league scoring 20+ goals each season for every team he's played for so far.

24 Nov 2020 11:10:04
Also sir rock katic I'm not sure where youve been last 10 years but the buisness model of loaning players out to be in the shop window and generate as much money in sales as possable is as strong as ever now. Just have to look at our own system we use lol, . kent, zungu and hagi are prime examples. kent being the best example.7 million quid for a liverpool academy player. no 1 would be willing to pay that. loan him out with a option to buy. he came up and he did the buisness so we bought him for top dollar. exact same scenario we could do with merelos.

24 Nov 2020 12:20:43
Your still digging a whole for yourself mate 😂😂.

24 Nov 2020 12:28:11
I think we will need to sell a player in January to balance the books. Morelos is the obvious choice rather than Barisic, Goldson or Kent. Just my opinion.

24 Nov 2020 12:51:34
Been abysmal in this league never mind that one.

24 Nov 2020 12:58:28
No we won't need to sell a player in january Gus57!Plain and simple SCAREMONGERING especially with the other lot and some of our supporters falling for it 🤔 You would think that lot have enough to worry about just now, instead of taking great interest in us, as per usual though!
They're trying to take the heat of the mess their club is in😂😂.

24 Nov 2020 13:17:38
My earlier post was my own opinion and nothing to do with the other lot. Wait and see.

24 Nov 2020 13:27:42
The figures might not look great at first, but there's a much bigger picture to look at, and that picture is nowhere near as bleak as those with an agenda are making out.
Guys, those of you who fear the worst are feeding off the frenzy being stirred up by the east enders and their obsessed supporters moonlighting as financial experts. Do you know where they get this crap from? It's from that roaster Phil Mcgobs@#*e blog that we all know is total jimmy white!
If a player is sold in January it will probably be because they don't fit into our system, they're not good enough, or they want away, not because we need the money to keep the lights on.

24 Nov 2020 13:28:25
Yeah I agree with SGL, I can’t see us needing so sell, if we get a really good offer (I. e. £50m for Morelos) then I think we will sell but it’ll be on our terms.

Do the league winners gain automatic entry to the group stages?

24 Nov 2020 13:49:27
I agree boys back the team 100 % Have done along with certain others on here from day one . Had many a battle with negativity dressed up as an opinion.
Support the team when we are down and our support is needed.
Negativity kills all and kills confidence. I believe that’s why we are doing so well with no fans baying for blood after a misplaced pass.
I believe sometimes it can be just the terminology.
Rather than saying for example . “we should drop so and so or sell” . it might be better put . ” it might be an idea to rest “
It was explained to me once that it is better for one never to say we should . but put your point (over in a less domineering and position of self appointed knowledge) to something like it might be better.
Anyhow these post are much much more refreshing with less negativity being spouted about board . manager . team . etc . long may it continue. We are in a great place at the moment .
Let’s do the bouncy just for a laugh 😊.

24 Nov 2020 14:46:23
If we needed the money to cover the losses this year we would have bitten of Lille's £16 million offer for Morelos.
That we never tells it's own story.

24 Nov 2020 14:55:40
A virtual bouncy, now we're talking!

24 Nov 2020 15:22:07
Totally in tandem with your posts BMGH01,Molsgoals and MrPotatoHead 👍
Couldn't agree more guys!

24 Nov 2020 16:58:33
Haha mince, the players are not on here crying over unkind words.

24 Nov 2020 18:44:40
Sir katic not till 2022.

24 Nov 2020 19:17:18
Ah, okay, I wasn’t sure.

24 Nov 2020 22:11:33
Davie, the logic of loaning any players out, even for a loan fee is always because you want him gone, not your main striker, that would be madness on an industrial level,

24 Nov 2020 10:34:30
This new lockdown makes us appreciate our Rangers forums a lot more.

I am now constantly reading the post and replies sometimes posting and replying as well.

Recently I have noticed that some users who disagree with others opinions revert to almost slagging these users.

Surely we are all Rangers supporters and have the same hopes and desires for our club regardless of others opinions which should be respected.

I wonder if the Ed's would consider bringing back the agree / disagree buttons that would help to eliminate some who would rather slag others than simply disagree.

24 Nov 2020 10:47:08
I think if they bring back the disagree button it might lose a bit of the debates that go on. Also, the guys on here that have an agenda with other guys wouldn’t simply hit the disagree button, they’d still post a comment slagging then off.

24 Nov 2020 11:01:38
I believe some supposed gers fans are simply Controlled opposition. Celtic fans trying to disrupt the harmony of our club. We are having a season already breaking records and certain ones posts are all negative. Supporters should support. No one will put in a motm performance everygame however if they give 100% effort that's good enough. Yes slackers who aren't earning their wages may be critisised but i see all the players giving their all wk in wk out.

24 Nov 2020 11:23:30
You should be man ( or woman ) enough to post a reply rather than take the easy keyboard warrior option of pressing a 'disagree' button.
And unfortunately some posters deserve to be ridiculed with the nonsense they post.

24 Nov 2020 12:00:56
Well said Broxxibear👍 Your point about backing players that give 100% even if they are having a nightmare is exactly how I feel. In the past we as a fan base have been too quick to jump on players backs when they are having a bad game. Remember Maurice Edu? I actually quite liked him but he used to get pelters from the fans which I thought was wrong because the lad gave 100% every time. If a player is giving 100% and isn't good enough then that's on the manager to take him out the team. Back all players who give max effort👍.

24 Nov 2020 12:41:28
Agree i also thought edu was a good player for us.

24 Nov 2020 14:21:15
Aye, on reflection your right MrPotattie, spose it could become boring if no one criticised some comments if they are stupid comments mate.

24 Nov 2020 14:24:08
Meant yo include Aloa in my reply to Mr potatoe.

24 Nov 2020 14:59:49
Edu was a good athletic type and scored against the other lot so he was good enough for me 🤣🤣
🔴⚪🔵.

24 Nov 2020 15:48:14
I've posted plenty that others will class as nonsense BlueBilly🤣🤣
So I include myself in my previous post! 😂👍.

24 Nov 2020 18:46:46
Mr potato head. We all post plenty others class as nonsense.
It’s about respect for someone having the right to different view.

24 Nov 2020 22:14:09
Its a web thing mate, anyone can be anyone else, and pressing a button on your phone won't make an iota of difference so they're a complete waste of energy.

24 Nov 2020 10:22:58
Ok fellow bears i have too admit our midfield is already strong enough. Esp for scotland. But all teams should not rest on their laurels and continue looking to improve squad. Even the best teams in the world don't as we have seen even top teams being caught up becoming comfortable, And if our team know the manager is still looking to add this will give them more hunger and drive to show they deserve to be in team over others. However stevie G and let's face it all of britian/ europe right now can see the mighty gers are by far best team in scotland on current form. Anything tht will keep the form heading forwards will be positive and beneficial too all, think SG is preparing for the likes of older guys such as davis and mabey big offers for certain others players. However we are rangers as stevie G keeps saying. Celtic were happy to stroll league in scotland each year. Gerrard is a born leader a born winner and scotland alone is not his priority. I believe gerrard has high ambitions for us in europe and his record so far is night and day in this comp compared to the manky mob. We have a very very strong nucleus backbone too our firt team and squad so if we can maybe add a couple of players of higher quality thn we already have then this talented bunch may become even more special. This post is in regards to champions league. If we don't qualify this year through qualifiers then we will have europa however the following season the league winners will qualify automatically. We simply cannot allow this to be celtic as the money we can generate through this and a couple of sales could and should be massive. The draw of competing in this competition and playing under SG will be a massive incentive for Quality players wanting to come to ibrox and showcase their talents on footballs biggest stage. My curiosity however is can we add any players too make our european squad bigger as because of rules (which i'm unsure of) we couldn't even make up the full quota of players for europe. What players could we add to strengthen european squad. Does it have to be players of scottish nationality? I know something was due to not having enough home grown through our acadamy. This is probably why i read we are supposedly offering kai kennedy a new deal. Any thoughts on Players or anyone know of any emerging gers youths we could add to allow us to introduce more european players. Sorry for the long post but its bn a while. Gerrard isn't just thinking of 55 he's wanting to guarantee we have best chance at 56 and automatic champions league football. Gerrard is thinking longterm not just getting 55. We are Rangers. . And Stevie G is building the best Gers team i have seen in decades. Gerrard will not just be a Liverpool Legend but very soon a Gers Legend also. The way he represents our club and conducts himself is a pleasure to watch and you can see this man has rangers in his blood.

24 Nov 2020 11:09:03
agree with everything you said broxxi until i nodded off halfway through . only joking mate. good post. agree with every bit of it.

24 Nov 2020 12:20:17
Great post Broxixibear Think you must have been up all morning thinking that one out. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️🇬🇧👍.

24 Nov 2020 18:47:39
Very good post broxii.

24 Nov 2020 19:06:12
👏 👏 👏 nice wee post Broxi ☺.

24 Nov 2020 09:44:47
I've been in blackadders butchers great sausages too and Rowan Atkinson is a very nice guy.

24 Nov 2020 10:21:47
WHAT? .

24 Nov 2020 11:09:57
