Not a rumour - just a question
I'm thinking the players we have brought in this season are looking good and very optimistic about our chances this coming season
2017 table we were 12 points behind
2018 table 9 points behind but had some really stupid results last year when we played well we did play really well and at times we took the foot of the gas when it mattered I don't think Gerrard and the team this year will allow it to happen a lot of good young talent been brought in and I'm really looking forward to the new season
Anyone think we will need another striker in?
Will Morelos stay? He carts only can put them away now in our league and can only think he will learn and get better
What you think guys - anyone think this could finally be our year we should certainly go very close?

If we play the way we did towards the end of season then we should have no problems. I'm on the fence with morelos, on one hand with defoe up top we looked clinical, sharper, more fluent, we did not miss morelos but on the other hand if morelos cut out his stupidity and upped his game then he could be a different player altogether. If the money is right then he will be gone and we would need another ST. I'm looking forward to this season, I think we will be a different animal this year. I think aribo will be like kamara, another gem.

I am so pleased that the Aribo deal has gone through. IMO he is the marquee signing that we have been waiting for, and at such a price. Allen and SG have done their work, so they have - Top Team who have come up with a top signing.
Morelos like him or not is a good striker, if he cuts out the petulance he can become a very good striker. He puts the fear into all defences in the SPFL, even when he doesn't score. However, even if he stays we need another, but at what price?

Aribo I think will be a great signing, here’s hoping anyway.
If money is right line you guys say then Morelos will be gone but at same time like you say if he ups his game cuts out the petulant behaviour he could become a top player teams up here do fear him and he certainly can hold up the ball and let players get up into the play.
All in all I think the team will be stronger and quicker can see a high tempo attacking team this year and not been afraid of teams and just playing good football all round.
That’s what I’m hoping for anyway lol

Cato, Aribo a marquee signing? No one had even heard of him 6 months ago! The boy is a prospect, nothing more at this point.
Like most I had a look at his YouTube videos and tbh you can never take these things seriously. I actually thought he looks quite similar to Ejaria (although a bit tougher in the tackle) and he didn’t exactly set the heather alight.
Personally I didn’t think we needed him with Doherty and Rossiter coming back from loans but maybe one of them will be shipped out again.

I think that greg docherty has a future at rangers under steven gerrard and rightly so, imo. If any of these two you mention has to be shipped out zikos, then i think it'll be jordan rossiter who'll be the one to go. Not because rossiter isn't a decent midfielder, because he is when fit, but there lies the problem.

Aribo is not a marquee signing but he doesn't have to be. The manager described him perfectly when he said the lad had a lot still to learn but looked forward to helping him improve. He's obviously a good player and a bright prospect considering the interest he attracted. Docherty was never really good enough for us and Rossiter, sadly, suffered so much through injury that he will not make it to the very top now, although I always had high hopes for him.
I think we will give Morelos until the winter break to prove he has matured, and if he has we will be the winners. I'm generally very happy with the squad and I will be delighted if we get Kent back again and my tip to break through at some time in the new season is Lewis Mayo, who will save us money on a fourth centre half. Another striker, a poacher type, would see us hopefully carry the season and take our 55th title. In Stevie I trust.

Record reported this morning rossiter has been told to find a new club. Shame for the guy cause when fit he looked promising, but as has been said keeping fit is the problem.

I said a while ago that rossiter would struggle for game time and that he'd be off.
