I think the third bid will come when we know the transfer request has been handed in.

Believable3 Unbelievable10

24 Jul 2015 15:57:03
There won't be third bid then, because there isn't going to be any transfer request.

So many fricking know alls on here. Time will tell, as always. Watch and shoot.

The honourable thing for Allen to do is to see his contract out with Hibs, they gave him a chance when his career was on a downward spiral, many young talented footballers take a wrong path and end up in obscurity, thats where Allen was headed before Allan Stubbs and Hibs turned his career around,if he does well this season at the end he can walk away and join Rangers if he so wishes but if he has another good season there will be other possibilities for him,a lot of foreign scouts will be keeping an eye on him now and the world as they say might be his oyster.

If you took Allan out that team last year they wouldn't have finished top six never mind 2nd.

24 Jul 2015 14:05:41
Well, what a surprise!!
No transfer request from Scott Allan.
Think we have got to accept he isn't ever going to be coming to Rangers and start looking at other options.

No transfer request from Scott Allan so far.

He is meeting his agent today after training to have talks about it.

Agree2 Disagree9

24 Jul 2015 15:31:28
Loads of time left in the transfer window, don't know why people think it definitely won't happen. Do you have inside information on why it won't happen? There's more chance of him playing for us than mo Johnstone, aw wait.

Agree1 Disagree6

24 Jul 2015 22:24:58
Bloody hell this is Scott Allan we are talking about not a Gaza or a Maradona. He is a decent player worth 250k or 300k in his final year of his contract. We probably don't need him as I am sure we have now got a good squad of players. He was down south but got no offers to remain down there as far as I know so I don't know what Stubbs is on about. If we can't get him we will just have to get on with it.

Paper talk and main sources (far more reliable) are saying he will be handing in a transfer request.

24 Jul 2015 12:45:13
I'd love a shot of what Stubbs has been taking. Trying to sweet talk Allan by saying if he stays at hibs he'll make it to the English Prem next year. I'm sorry but as good as the kid is he is not Barclays Premier League Quality. Maybe in 2-3 years time, but not yet.

Believable3 Unbelievable11

24 Jul 2015 17:29:17
Exactly. Anyone who thinks a 23/24 year old having 2 good seasons in spfl championship will suddenly be playing in the epl afterwards is delusional. Rangers (hopefully promotion pushing) or another spl side are the most he could get this year and eng championship next year max if he plays well. That's not saying he's not good enough it's just being realistic given his current status.

Agree2 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 20:20:05
Well guys someone at west brom thought he was good enough for the premiership a couple of years ago.

It's amazing reading the messages on social media regarding Scott Allan. Fans from all clubs sending hibs messages of support while writing hate filled messages against us. You have to laugh when a raith rovers fan for example is questioning Allans logic for moving to what he sees as "a wee club with no money".

Believable9 Unbelievable2

24 Jul 2015 12:53:46
As I've always said, we really are the only show in town!

Agree5 Disagree8

24 Jul 2015 13:13:51
That's the thing.everyone knows it's happening.we are on the road back and they can't handle it.let them mock but sooner rather than later we will be back.and when that day comes there will be no holding back.so stick together, get behind the club and revenge will be sweet.

Agree5 Disagree8

24 Jul 2015 13:20:41
with a crowd of 22,334 for a friendly and Raith's stadium capacity of 8,867 the only wee fay him is a wee bit rang,

Agree4 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 13:56:09
Or the other way to look at it is ( as some of your own fans on here have stated) only 22 thousand fans could be arsed turning up for what was the first game of what was supposed to be the start of a new era with a great new manager , there are lies , dammed lies and statistics but what can't be denied is he had about 28 thousand empty seats looking back at him .

Agree7 Disagree3

24 Jul 2015 13:25:37
Only show in town! How come use couldn't even half fill your stadium on your new managers 1st game? At a tenner a ticket I heard to! U come out with a few belters pal! Only show in town! Haha!

Agree7 Disagree4

24 Jul 2015 15:09:19
22k for a midweek friendly against an English championship side is decent I'd say. I'll write a letter to Mr Warburton and apologise that I wasn't willing to take a days holiday from work to attend, ill keep said days holiday for the ridiculous Friday night games we are being forced to play in competitive competitions

Agree4 Disagree4

24 Jul 2015 15:54:58
Well your fellow fan said use are the only show in town! Clearly not for 28,000 stay away fans! And maybe 22,000 would not be a bad number usually, but this was supposed to be the big start to this revolution we keep hearing about! U'd think for a tenner use would have gave this revolutionary a better welcome! Only show in town my a**e! The only show in town will be next week when the champs un furl another championship flag!! Haha

Agree5 Disagree0

24 Jul 2015 16:00:45
A days holiday to get to a midweek game? How far away do you stay? Are you telling me the other 28 thousand folk who used to turn up for the old clubs champions league games or Europa league games all were on a days holiday? You played ONE friendly at home with a new board , new manager and new team and only 22 thousand made the effort, bottom line .

Agree6 Disagree0

24 Jul 2015 16:25:44
Because it's a meaningless friendly and it was midweek, then if you think you can say that why wasn't parkhead full against stjarnan on a European game?

Agree1 Disagree5

24 Jul 2015 16:25:53
After all it's s friendly your mob where pullin in the 20 odd thousand mark for your league games so a bit rich going on about attendances

Agree2 Disagree2

24 Jul 2015 16:54:10
The fact you two so called celtic fans are on here constantly proves we are in the fact the only show!

Agree4 Disagree4

24 Jul 2015 17:32:02
Think u'll find the game against stjarnan was attended by a lot more than 22,000 mate! And I don't recall any league game I was at havin 20,000 at it! And the only show in town! Use aren't even the support act for the champs in town! Patrick thistle can lay claim to that tag!! U can't be the only show in town when u play in Scotlands 2nd tier! U need to be in the big league before u can attempt to claim that title! Even your saviour Dave king says u'll never be as big as the champs!! Haha

Agree5 Disagree2

24 Jul 2015 10:22:48
I must admit I find it very amusing that Stubbs is Refusing to let Allan Come to us. He is handing in a transfer request, he doesn't want to be with hibs anymore, you have an unhappy player in the dressing room, on top of that you are killing his dream of coming to rangers this season. Stubbs face it, you need to let him go.

Believable4 Unbelievable10

24 Jul 2015 11:36:40
I thought you were talking about Allan combe for a minute there lol. is it worth keeping a player who doesn't want to be there? Maybe They will accept a bid after Saturday but it's still a long time till the window shuts.

Agree2 Disagree3

24 Jul 2015 12:08:25
Maybe if use didn't go in and offer 100 grand plus add ons then big stubbsie would maybe take u seriously! 100 grand for the championships player of the year! I heard he was more annoyed used asked if u could pay it up a fiver a week! Haha

Agree5 Disagree0

24 Jul 2015 12:28:33
This is becoming yet another farce. were we really one of the greatest teams in the world? now its like a market stall haggling sale.
Pay the bloody money and be done with it, or move on.
Pounds and penny,s from a team the size of ours laughable.

Agree4 Disagree2

24 Jul 2015 12:38:39
You sound like Lord Percy from Blakadder 2. "A piffling thousand? Pay the man and have done with it Edmund."
Yes once upon a time the team at Ibrox did sign players for lots of money. That's why they went out of business and into liquidation and a new team was voted in to Scottish football.

24 Jul 2015 13:18:33
If it was celtic that Allan wanted to goto Stubbs would have drove him to Lennoxtown this morning! hahaha. Let the Boy leave!

Agree2 Disagree3

24 Jul 2015 14:42:19
JohnJag ONCE UPON AT TIME is what Mr KIng is preaching now. so either he goes and uses his money or he shuts up and gets on with what we have. I'm all for living off our season ticket money etc,,,but that i'm afraid is not the Rangers way. How many millions we lost already and the season not started at last count we were already 8million in debt and that was before the transparent one de-listed and shut up shop on telling us the fans anything.
As for your jibe about Lord Percy is he not Mr King in disguise. " Dave King says over-investment may be necessary in the next three years for the club to be able to compete" as the words of a song go,,"there may be trouble ahead"

Agree3 Disagree0

24 Jul 2015 14:38:19
Quote from Stubbs "we are trying to put together a team which we feel will have a chance of being close for promotion this season.” Close Is that an admission he looking at the play offs and that is with SA

Agree1 Disagree1

24 Jul 2015 17:50:50
Umm my point Ally was that Edmund Blackadder didn't have the cash to pay up - so if the glib and shameless one is anyone then he's Blackadder.

With a third bid immanent for Scott Allan I would possibly suggest that Alan Stubbs jackets on a shoogly nail after announcing that he can categorically say that Scott Allan will not be going to Rangers.
I hope we get the lad

Believable4 Unbelievable13

23 Jul 2015 23:51:56
Is there any truth that Rangers have offered Hibs Gazza's fishing rod for a year as bait along with £250,000 for Scott Allan?

Believable4 Unbelievable8

I recall Michael Mols offering his and Amorusos services as scouts in Europe for new young players. Now is a good time to bring in some quality young players.
