Docherty and McCrorie were nowhere near "our best assets" otherwise they wouldn't have wound up at Aberdeen and hull.
Halliday loved the badge but was nowhere near good enough.

If you know Kennedy, that's the feedback he was given and we wants to then run his mouth then that explains a lot about his character and I wouldn't want him near the team until he learns how to be professional.

Serge Atakayi left a while back. Surely our best assets are Morelos, Kent and Borna, probably worth around 50 million for the three. Not forgetting Itten, Roofe, Helander etc. Ross and Doc were good enough 3 years ago but have not IMO progressed to the level required for a successful Rangers team that has ambitions to be in the Champions league or compete in the latter stages of the Europa League.

Here we go again. I’ve stated this before on here and I’ll do so again. Can folk please stop taking what 1 internet blogger / story teller states on News Now as being fact. Also let’s just think about it. Last year Kent stated he wanted a permanent move as wanted to feel settled at one club and not be continually moving around. He also told Liverpool he only wanted to move to Rangers, rejecting Leeds twice. He has a fantastic relationship with Gerrard (one of his heros) . He is a first pick week in week out, not guaranteed at Leeds. He will be playing in Europe here, wouldn’t be at Leeds. He will be playing to win leagues and cups here, would be playing to avoid relegation at Leeds. Other than money, and let’s face it I’m sure he’s on a pretty decent wage with us, what reason would their be to leave?
Yes I’m sure one day he will leave and yes I’m sure that there is a figure that if reached then financially we would have to agree to (although Kent himself would still have to want to leave) . But I’m of the opinion neither of those things are close to happening.

I don't think Kent wants to go, Morelos does. Leeds were never serious with a 10m offer. so far this season Kent and Barasic our best 2 players Aribo a good third. If Kent can keep adding goals from midfield it'll be huge for us this year. I don't see us selling for much less than 20m, not sure he's worth that but certainly worth that to us right now. Morning lads, a player who doesn't get much of a mention anywhere tbh is big helander, i think the bigman has brought great balance and calmness to the defence although not the fastest his positional sense makes up for it, also if u remember december time we were flying the big man got injured is that coincidental with our collapse that he was out? any heres hoping him n goldson can form a consistant partnership.

I'm not so sure fergie, he's looked a bit shaky I think. He has been out a long time though so he needs time to settle again. I much prefer the look of balogun if I'm honest👍.

Baloguns has been impressive coldo no despute there its a tough one, whoever he thinks is his best partnership he should stick with however and not chop n change anytime 1 player has a mistake a good duo need time to bond, nice position to be in though with 4 good ch if u include the fridge.

I agree fergie he should stick with a partnership instead of chopping and changing which I thought hindered our consistency. We do look much stronger in defence this year👍.

I’m happy with all 4 CB’s, my first choice pairing with Goldson would be Balogun but the jersey is Helanders to lose now. Big believer in keeping your jersey and Helander hasn’t justified it being given to Balogun. I expect the 2 who don’t play in majority of league games to get plenty of game time in cups.

I am not his biggest fan as he is far too slow and we haven’t come up against any team that wants to attack yet.
I know David weir was slow but he isn’t anywhere near as good as David weir was.
But SG likes him just think our new guy and Goldson could be a great duo when he is back fit.

I agree Balogun from what I've seen just pips helander. but a word of caution some people on here questioned Balogun being injury prone before he signed. Is this true?

Wasn't sure about Helander but I think he has looked good. Looks to be a bit sharper of the mark as well. Nowhere near as slow as Davie Weir was imo.

I like Helander alot, Think we need to pick and chose his games tho. Watching him turn on the plastic surfaces makes me terrfied. Great selection choices this season with him and balogun and ofcourse goldson who has been magnificent.

I like helander, plays well, Balogun has a reputation of injury prone throughout his career.
I think this is why he got a one year deal with second year based on appearances.

Liked the looked of Balogun but we have options in the centre back positions including Katic when he returns from injury.
Main point we have kept clean sheets apart from the goal we coincided against Leverkusen.
We have been excellent defensively. 😀.

Whoever loaded up the 352 image on the sighting's page looks very good. Maybe hagi for davis and I'm also favouring mclaughin for mcgregor but if it has two up top with itten playing as TM then we should be looking in to it. At half time on saturday we went two up top and we all saw the difference it made. 👍.

Reason itten was on right was to target their small left back.
He then put itten through middle moved Kent right Roofe left. Later put Barker right to run at them.

Itten was right first half, bang on john. 2nd half itten and roofe were through the middle, roofe would drop short and was the link between mid and attack. Kent right barker left. 👍.

To be honest grumpy I don't think he'll go 352 either. I would prefer 442 with kent and barker/ jones/ hagi or whoever being more inside forwards and tav and barasic providing the width which I think was what we switched to 2nd half the other day. Tav didn't hug the line as much as barasic, tav was too narrow at times. We need itten and roofe through the middle. The 433 or 4231 or 4213 doesn't work. One ST through the middle just doesn't work for us. 👍.

I have my doubts rfc98 going by the previous two seasons but if he goes with 2 up top against the spl with the exception of celtic then he will have a great chance of winning us the league. Time will tell if he has learned or not. He showed on saturday that going two up top at half time that he was learning so let's give him the chance to show that he has learned👍.

Honestly I shush the player himself could have stayed focused played his best football and Got the move he wanted
And the club would have made Money and us fans would have wished him all the the best for his future
He's scored a lot of goals for the club
But let us down at points too
And no more so than recently and he's let down Steven Gerrard after all the trust and backing the manager has given him
It's very annoying can't think of a better word
But it's very annoying he will leave the club in this context a player who has his head turned and stopped focusing on his football at the club who let him showcase his skills where he was loved by all at one point!

Morelos was unplayable during the first half of last season and was easily worth 20mil, we saw a glimpse of how special he could be. Gerrard read the riot act to him after his 6 game ban as we all know and he reacted positively to that by starting the season in blistering form. Unfortunately his attitude has let him down again and will no doubt be a burden to him throughout his career. Gerrard has clearly lost patience with him. We should phone lille and ask them if they'd be willing to pay 16mil, would be very good business for us. 👍.
