I think Stevie was right to call out the ref as the tackle was the other way about we would have seen a red card
It's a shocking state of affairs when we can't say anything about bad decisions

I'm sure Lenny has called out refs before and I haven't heard about him being reprimanded recently? Could be wrong but I haven't seen or read
However there is complacency that surrounds the team Gerrard has put together
And just read and seen on here Barinas now leaving on loan
A lot of players out with Stevie main pool find it very hard to be given chances
Even when his main pool let him down constantly in big games
What are these players to do?
How do they get a chance he has signed a majority of the players who still can't break into his main pool and end up being let go etc
In my humble opinion he needs to go and we need a change of direction regarding transfers in and out of the club
He has done great and I think he's taken the team as far as he can take us now especially in the spl
Let someone new come in fresh ideas and see what they make of the main pool of players.
If Kent or Morelos was to go then there would be some extra funds for a new manager to make some signings
Although I would like to keep Kent but money talks as we all know
I think it's clear when it comes to big games or a chance for us to take a lead in the league they bottle it or they don't turn up don't play to there best what ever the excuse is
It's. not good enough why give him the rest of the season and more, obey to spend when it's already shown we can't step up in the bigger games
Leaving Europe out of it we never won anything a good run yes
But for me our bread and butter is and should be the league first and foremost
Seems a few folk on here happy to have a good ru. In Europe while continuing to sit second
I'd father be 1st in league and day

Have you looked at the league table recently?
If not I'll let you know that we are top of league yes top. We are also undefeated in said league and we've also been playing well so I don't see the need to change the manager because it would cost us a fortune and changing a team around from the dross he inherited doesn't happen overnight. But each to their own and I certainly want him to stay and be a success.

It was a red. But Gerrard can't say "it would be interesting to see what happened if it was the other way about". That statement implies that there is a bias and that is bringing the game in to disrepute. Gerrard's fault, no one else to blame, no conspiracy. 👍.

You still don’t hit any valid points in the fact his own transfers have many times found it hard to be given a chance and then let go mostly without profit

We’re top of the league unti Celtic win there game in hand and I’ll eat my hat if they don’t win it and go top and ONCE again we will be the team chasing instead of the team leading

Listen I know all the valid points about being top of the league just now but won’t be long as I’ve pointed out in my own opinion
We have lost two goals but we lost them in the game we all said was our biggest game in the league to date
Against a team that’s playing well we couldn’t overcome them - remnants of seasons past under Stevie
Where the club was to where is today has changed a lot for the better
But we need to keep moving forward not become stagnant and we need too stop wasting money on players who don’t set the heather on fire and there been too many who haven’t under Stevie
Let’s not forget he was a rookie manger we have given a chance too a big chance was taken and a lot has been given to him too succeed let’s not forget that
So for as much as people say he’s done a great job he’s been given the backing by the board with the clubs cash.
Managers before him but after the liquidation process haven’t had anywhere near the backing he has had so let’s not forget that
The team is where it is today because the board have backed him
But I don’t think he’s done wonders in the transfer market I honestly think. A more experienced manager could have bought better
A lot of folk just can’t see past the name who really it should be the board getting credit for putting out the money
And it was Stevie job to win at least a domestic trophy with it and he hasn’t been able to do it
Against a lot of the weaker opposition who don’t have anywhere near the recourses Stevie has at his disposal
So let’s not forget that please.

Look at the Glasgow city council at one point it was called the Glasgow catholic council
You couldn’t get a job in there unless you were a catholic and a Celtic fan

I agrre a lot of what stig is saying and unusually I disagree with coldo and cheers, and I know for a fact about the Glasgow council and especially about contracts handed out,
I also know, as I have relative heavily involved sadly that there has been a deep rooted and vast campaign against Rangers since the original complaint from hmrc, this has even involved the city of London police receiving many thousands of emailed complaints from " other clubs fans" also unfair have received over 2 million emails when Rangers signed a couple of players when stevie was appointed, these things i know through my business dealings and. Y relative, who is a very prominent supporter of them and is very well known in the legal world, this isn't a lot of bull and I don't really care if a couple of boys want to ridicule it, I would suggest asking unfair or something of thT ilk.

There is an unsolvable problem in the Scottish game in relation to RFC. I mentioned before about the officials constant bad decisions against us. RFC v Hibs another example. Off the ball incident was a red for Alfie v celtic, but only a yellow for Ryan p. Another offside goal allowed to stand. Constant fouling against kenty. Where are the complaints from Ibrox? Does noone want to complain in any capacity to uefa, regarding constant biased or inadequately performing linesmen and fourth officials which are seriously hurting our title challenge. We lost the cup to Celtic with three of their players offside. Two points lost again v Hibs. Why do the officials face absolutely no punishment of any kind for blatant bad decisions. They seem to be untouchable. I'm sick of us playing in this joke of a league. They all hate us, so maybe we should get something sorted elsewhere, so we can leave all these other laughable clubs to rot. I'm just peed off that I've not got hundreds of millions, or have enough business savvy that I could use, to get us into another league somewhere. We have to leave this spfl sh**e as soon as possible. Money being wasted, trying to fine Stevie g. but not enough to install var. I could show the officials the replay of incidents on my phone less than ten seconds after they happen. We've got the play on rangers TV or sky. Why do none of the subs have the match streaming on their phone, so they can show incidents to the fourth official. Wow. For 5 quid a match from rangers TV, I've saved thousands on the installation of var. I'm sure if we did that, phones would be banned.

Bottom line is we shouldn’t have referees Ruling over the game when we know what team they lean to. It’s not right. I know we looked into bringing foreign refs in which was a no go but it’s the only way forward in terms of fair play. Bobby madden is now trying like fu into go against us with decisions. It doesn’t really matter what John intended from his post. The fact is that Coldo takes every opportunity to slate our manager and most of our players.
Everyone on here knows that Coldo doesn’t rate the manager but we all see that his views are irrelevant and contradictory.

Both players received serious long term injuries at rangers. McLaren ending his career at 27. Prior to both signing they had excellent appearance records at hearts and Everton.

I posted on other thread re Balogun. Pay per play deal, extra year if he plays certain amount of games. this was due to his fitness record. He was brought in due to Katic injury, who some say will be back in January, that would surprise me.

I fully understand John . Let’s say balugon left out of squad due to injury, then why would you replace Roofe with Balogun? Let’s say Balogun is fit but down the pecking order for defensive position, then why draft him in as a replacement for a striker? Seems strange decision.

They are referrrecd as cat A players.
Cat b players ie home grown and academy don’t need to be named in numbers game, they r classed as cat b.

Just a thought, but should the league use the £60000 received in fines from the 2 clubs guilty of C.V. breaches to lower league clubs to assist with costs for testing? My opinion is that they should, but knowing that lot, they won't!
{Ed001's Note - they only received £16,000. The other £44,000 is a suspended penalty that they will only have to pay if they make another breach.}

Never mind the lower leagues, if the no fans continues til March like they say then how many spfl clubs go under? Livi will be grateful for the dykes money, Motherwell have assets but a few might not players they can shift. Plus if window closes October that avenue is gone and feels like there may be a bit trouble ahead. Maybe everyone goes bust and we can go to English leagues. Wouldn't mind that 😁🤣.

Both roofe and balogun have a history of regular injuries, I don't think we will see them very often tbh. I hope they are on a pay as you play type contract.

Also bar that’s why we signed Balogun one year deal with additional year if he played certain amount of games due to his previous history.
