Seriously how good a performance was that today considering the difficult tie we had on Thursday. What was majorly encouraging was the strength of our bench Also with a few to come back from injury. CELTIC are on the ropes here and it's looks like we're going to take advantage of this. A MASSIVE thanks to stevie g and Gary mcallister for bringing this club back to where we belong.

23 Sep 2018 21:22:40
Agree JGG1 Very good performance by the whole team we've got players in all positions fighting to get into the team and have to say the buzz about Ibrox and away games is amazing #best fans in the world.

Only thing i would add is as SG says we're not obsessed with Celtic they're obsessed with us. We've got to be obsessed with winning every other game and the Celtic games will take care of themselves.

23 Sep 2018 21:23:20
Excellent not a peep from fat hartson and pricksutton.

23 Sep 2018 22:07:46
Breathtaking performance today and Stevie wanting even more! Love it. We have a right good squad here and for whatever reasons we Didn't do ourselves justice at the piggery. If that game was being played next week I'm certain we would win it and not only that but win it well. Very, very impressed with the boss and all of his backroom staff. We are absolutely flying right now. If we can keep everybody fit and rotate the squad in the correct manner we are going to be right there at the business end of this season, of that I have no doubt.

24 Sep 2018 07:51:12
Morelos was MoM for me. But Candyass was class. he must have ran about 40 miles in that game. McCrorie was class too.

Cant wait to see a scotland midfield of Mcginn Mccrorie and Gilmour.

24 Sep 2018 10:10:00
Well said Gman, The silence from Hartson and Sutton is deafening, especially after the Villareal game when Hartson couldn't even bring himself to say anything good about the Gers, he actually said that we rode our luck for our first goal when we had five players in the Villareal box? what an person,

23 Sep 2018 20:40:21
What do you think of Lee Wallace filling in at left back that is the only place we keep changing right now till we get to January.

23 Sep 2018 20:45:04
Lee Wallace is a great player and when fit would be my deputy left back with Flanagan deputy right back.

23 Sep 2018 20:51:22
Wee Alex why till we get to January.

24 Sep 2018 08:37:50
Flanagan plays before wallace all day, everyday👍.

24 Sep 2018 12:53:37
Coldco and so does Halliday.

25 Sep 2018 21:57:51
No Barisic all day long for me only reason we changed was because he was injured.

23 Sep 2018 19:22:45
The strength and depth we have in our squad to allow rotation giving us fresh legs and maintianing a high performance quite simply.

Turns me on.

23 Sep 2018 18:49:46
Couple weeks ago it was our worst start to a season in 20 years, now it's Celtics turn. 2nd half of the season will be the real test.

23 Sep 2018 21:42:01
Thought young McCrorie did very well today and Looked very comfortable when moved to right back.

24 Sep 2018 09:05:14
He's far more disciplined defensively in there than halliday, thought he was excellent yday.

24 Sep 2018 12:54:38
Fb one plays left one plays right. We need the full squad already.

24 Sep 2018 16:16:17
Mcrorie clearly played right in front of centre backs yday mate, same as halliday played in Spain. U can tell mcrorie is a defender originally he was much more aware of danger yday slotting in when any of defenders pushed on thought apart from Aberdeen away last season that was probably his best gsme for us.

23 Sep 2018 17:40:15
Excellent performance today with the odd slack pass even being able to make 4 changes from thursday. Some really nice football played, with some slick passing and a few very nice cheeky we flicks. I thought Morelos and Candeias were outstanding and the rest were very good, regular performances of that quality and we can start talking about title contenders but we really need to get this old firm monkey off our backs, other teams are showing how to upset them and we need to do the same, for now 1 game at a time and see where that takes us but really pleased with that performance an absolute joy to watch.

23 Sep 2018 18:51:08
It's simple with septic! Don't show them respect and don't give them time on the ball! Attack them from the first whistle to the last.

23 Sep 2018 19:13:54
There were periods in that Kilmarnock game (first 10 mins for example) where they ran right over Celtic. We need to play like that against them.

Good time to be a bear.

23 Sep 2018 20:00:35
I thought Gers were great to watch today, the passing and movement was fantastic at times. Considering we are still gelling as a team, I think we're going to be a bit special, well done sg.

23 Sep 2018 20:59:40
Love your comment ready 100% . I am nearing 60 years and today there was a wee tear in my eye. I cannot hide my emotions over the way I feel about my club. We have been to hell and are on our way back. I'm not thinking we are going to win eveything but we are going to give it lalldy! Whoever appointed our stevie g from thw bottom of my heart thank you god bless you sir! Ok time to stagger home.

24 Sep 2018 08:48:17
Agree Jordi
Do you agree the slack passing was really down to one player?

24 Sep 2018 18:33:00
DEEB If I am being honest I only remember 2 or 3 Katic back to shagger and a couple from Goldson, so that being said it's a small critisism, that aside good performance and hopefully one of many this season.

23 Sep 2018 17:24:50
sitting here having a pint in my local just reading the beeb's report on our match online its hilarious it does say we were rampant but only report on st johnstones misses? is it any wonder rangers won't give them the time of day read it its hilarious.

23 Sep 2018 19:57:57
It's pathetic tbh.

23 Sep 2018 21:00:35
So are the eejits who disagree.

23 Sep 2018 21:45:36
Still waiting for that Public Broadcaster, funded by our licence fee, BBC Scotland to cover and comment on the George Peat allegations.

24 Sep 2018 07:53:55
Bankie you've got a long Wait!

24 Sep 2018 08:51:48
Bankie

Before they do I think its more likely they will attack Peat's credibility and totally deflect the arguement.

23 Sep 2018 17:08:25
Let's no get carried away there's miles to go We just need to focus on our own games and one at a time!

23 Sep 2018 17:36:34
You're right, Kazmania, and I'm sure Gerrard feels exactly the same. We've had a smashing week with two excellent performances in what could have been very difficult circumstances, but as far as the league goes, we've merely played for 18 points out of a total of 114. We're on a high right now and we all pray it will continue, but if wee setbacks occur, let's not fall back into negative mode again. As the man said, trophies are won in May, not September. And today surely Morelos shut his detractors up for good, my man of the match in a team that produced an all-star performance. I still can't believe that Stevie G has been here for a mere four months and what he has achieved in that short time is nothing short of remarkable.

23 Sep 2018 18:56:09
That was Morelos best performance in a Rangers jersey, simply outstanding.

23 Sep 2018 17:02:05
6th eh?

23 Sep 2018 15:07:27
Morning Bears,
Just been pondering about Andy Haliday and was wondering about the term, "Rangers Quality". I think some would immediately jump in and say a thorough bred pro with international pedigree proved at the top level is Rangers Quality.
I would however offer an alternative view on Rangers Quality in terms of AH.

Played out of position but never complains. Works very hard. Model pro on and off the pitch. Humiliated by Celtic fans and his own at times took it on the chin. Disrespected by previous manager and gets loaned out to the back of beyond, still no complaint.

Comes back works his arse off and waits for his chance, gets it and proves he can be useful player for Rangers. That is Rangers Quality and the manager can see it. Andy must have Sir Struths famous lines tattooed on the back of his hand.

Opinions welcome. ATB.

23 Sep 2018 15:57:02
Very good post. I will admit that I wasn't a fan of AH but he is a grafter and has improved tremendously under SG.

23 Sep 2018 16:05:57
Great to have about the place, terrific attitude can do a decent enough job in a few positions but for me when we get everyone fit he would be lucky to be on bench.

23 Sep 2018 17:10:58
Halliday looked a player in the early days (championship) when Warburton was in charge, he lost his way under Pedro and Murty

Good to see his passion get rewarded.

23 Sep 2018 19:04:08
Not a fan, would have preferred holt to stay. Got abit hung out to dry though so willing to see how he goes with better players in the team and some organisation. Done what has been asked so far.

24 Sep 2018 09:41:14
I love andy halliday and with his contract up at end of season I would look to offer him a new deal. (short term i. e 1 or 2 years) . Yes he may not be our best player but he is great to have at the club and has proven to be a useful squad player this year.

23 Sep 2018 15:01:53
Had an issue with the ticket centre around purchasing my seat for the Euro games. Very unhappy with how the call centre point blank refused to help. Typed out an email of complaint and was contacted within the hour by a nice guy called Gordon. He sorted my issue out in about 2 mins and apologised for the previous issue. Went from anger and dissapointment at how the club was treating a supporter to thinking the customer service was fantastic. So, thanks Gordon and well done 👍.

23 Sep 2018 14:46:56
Fantastic result for Killie. Let's take advantage of their slip up and get right into St Johnstone.

23 Sep 2018 17:01:25
advantage taken struth!

23 Sep 2018 17:42:30
Awww poor Tim's thinking that disagreeing with your post would change the fact they lost in stoppage time against the mighty killie, up yees.

23 Sep 2018 12:56:00
Sorry blemishes should read bluenoses.
Thought l would correct before they all fall over themselves.
Let's leave that to their team😁.

23 Sep 2018 12:50:11
Let's keep the pressure on today, nipping at their heels, Hoping Killie do a job on them.
I know l have blue tintend specs but the smellies are pretty average.
Wonder how long it will be before the trolls are here talking about the Wigan/ Chelsea ex pals.
Secret blemishes every one of them.

23 Sep 2018 14:33:37
BOOM! imminent implosion! disagrees incoming!

23 Sep 2018 10:06:58
Having international players only helps us any way you look at it, it increases their experience and helps develop players and if he/ they are going to leave increases their value. Saying it's irrelevant is stupid, ignorant and really annoying to hear. We have a talent on our hands, yeah he's raw and not the finished article yet but he is young and for now he is ours. We should be happy we have another great youth prospect in our team. and possibly Scotland's too.

23 Sep 2018 10:57:52
Yeh let's have the tartan embarrassment boo our players just because they play for Rangers, I doubt the international status of Scotland would increase any players value by that much anyway. Joke of a national team and our players are better out of it.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion and if any rangers fan wishes to support Scotland then fine, go for it, but please allow us other rangers fans who don't care for the national team the same courtesy.

23 Sep 2018 11:15:36
Not supporting our national team is embarassing it's our country for god sake. The rangers fans who support England and n. I (and the celtic fans who support r. o. i) over their own country are the worst of the fans of both teams. In my experience this is where the bigoted minority in both supports lie.

23 Sep 2018 12:31:57
There is nothing wrong with enjoying watching another countries national team. Ie the obvious Brazil. But the idea that you would be happy to watch an N. I/ England/ R. O. I beat the country of your birthday. The one you followed when you were child. But as you have said it’s everpersin/ fans right to follow who they wish. I follow rangers and Scotland. I watch Liverpool’s scores and RB Leipzig’s but would never wish them to beat us. If you don’t want to follow national teams again that’s fine.
BTW. a cap for any country increases a players value.

23 Sep 2018 12:59:21
International football is an inconvenience to me, I am indifferent if Scotland win, lose or draw. I support rangers and follow arsenal in the EPL and athletico in Spain (not so much now its not on sky) but if I am forced to watch international football I would generally look for the best 2 teams that are playing which certainly wouldn't be Scotland. Unless their are no other games on.

23 Sep 2018 13:28:30
Never been a fan of international football but I get both sides of argument but for me when a player from my team gets booed by the so called other fans I'm out, and I can't see transfer values increasing that much due to a Scotland cap. from a totally personal and I know immature stand point I can't bring myself to support anyone who wears the hoops.

23 Sep 2018 13:51:38
Zepp you are absolutely right, you are entitled to the same courtesy however playing international football will increase the value of a player to a club whether it be financially or with experience 👍.

23 Sep 2018 13:55:13
Can I ask a question of the fellow bears who don't like/ follow scotland. If you played for the gers and were our best no.9, best in the country and scotland come calling and we had just reached a world cup finals. You would say no on the reasons of? hoops also play in that jersey? Its an inconvenience for you? What the officials or clubs done and said to us?

23 Sep 2018 14:03:13
Never said it wouldn't increase a players value? I just don't think it would increase by much.

playing in front of a crowd that would boo said player would definitely be an experience though.

23 Sep 2018 14:13:36
International football is the best football! We are a Scottish team and I will proudly Follow our national side from glorious failure to not so glorious failure!

Oh Flower of Scotland etc etc etc.

23 Sep 2018 14:15:36
you are all talking as if all rangers fans are Scottish?

23 Sep 2018 14:17:30
@SirWalter

not me I clearly said! I!

23 Sep 2018 18:04:34
Fintytint how are we supposed to answer that so do you think it's acceptable our players get booed
As I've said numerous times here it's an opinion some of us have how is your opinion correct and ours wrong?
I'm Scottish but never have i had any interest in international football that's my right.
