Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

23 Sep 2017 21:46:51
i would like to see pedro get it right at the club but so far the only diffrence between this season and last season is the players we are still not winning against the likes of hibs hearts partick still lacking creativity in midfield still shiping goals still only 1 striker scoring for the sums paid for these players they should be a lot better for me player reqruitment has been poor this summer there was better alternatives 2 pena herrerra cardoso dalcio

23 Sep 2017 23:35:29
Totally agree, too many poor signings, can accept losing to celtic they are miles ahead but it's the Partick thistle, hearts, hibs teams we need to be beating

23 Sep 2017 21:38:07
Anyone else think Alves just didn't fancy it? Big Clint Hill wouldn't have a missed today.

23 Sep 2017 21:50:57
Yes Hill was always up for it, but McCrorie is the future albeit not a dominating centre half but good football skills and can pass.

The issues that worry me are the penalty claim with the referee watching 5m away, why was Brown not sent off for the elbow.

Surprisingly no photos on the BBC nor Sky.

23 Sep 2017 22:51:37
Hill is the type of guy to work with mccrorie beerman etc not some guy who doesn't fancy it. can't believe we sold mckay and bought candias. let's change manager asap. Even a short term manager would be better than this guy.

24 Sep 2017 00:23:35
Alves didn't fancy it? . Gez peace. He was injured. Its his calf and if you have ever injured your calf then you would know that you can't run. We are all hurting but that doesn't mean that we aw start talking p. h!

24 Sep 2017 02:42:05
Hahaha I've heard it all now. Alves wasnt up fr it. Come on man get a grip.

24 Sep 2017 10:29:36
Alves no fancy it haha. the guys played aw over europe in the most hostile derbys against the best players in the world but he bricked it to play against Thumb Nut. GET A GRIP OF YERSELF

23 Sep 2017 21:36:18
Sadly no heart today and can anyone imagine Ian Ferguson letting Brown swan about like that? We could do worse than have Ian on the coaching staff and let pena etc. I would like to see a change in manager Frank and Ronald De Boer in with Ian Ferguson as coach.

23 Sep 2017 22:50:31
Give the job to mcinnes

24 Sep 2017 00:04:52
Sorry to sound old fashioned but for not a single Rangers player to pick up a booking for a tackle on Scott Brown is totally unacceptable. not even for persistent fouling. I'm not asking for him to be injured but for him to stroll about Ibrox like a superstar is unforgivable.

24 Sep 2017 02:43:36
Pena put brown on his ass a few times

24 Sep 2017 07:46:46
Brown never kicked a ball first half and only started all his p*sh after second goal.

Pena played him well in the first half. I was at the games and can't bear to watch highlights.

1. Was it a penalty with Morelos?
2. Did brown use his elbow and was it a sending off?

24 Sep 2017 10:31:28
Penalty all day long but it wouldn't have made a blind bit of differece. Let the dhims be the para 1s when it goes tits up for them. we got beat fair and square and we move on

23 Sep 2017 21:18:55
When you look at our stats in the league in the first 7 games 13 goals conceeded says it all. Simply not good enough and defence rank rotten.

23 Sep 2017 22:55:11
Bring back Clint Hill. Cardoso sleeps his way through games and no aggression a bif let down.

23 Sep 2017 20:11:50
So get rid of Pedro. New manager comes in get rid of say 5 of his signings but we still have around 10 of warbs signings on the books so they have to go. Get a grip. Celtic had Ronnie because we were no were to be seen. First year back Brendan walks in. This is serious payback, and it hurts.

We need to learn fast. Next window expect to see more released and more come in. We need to play 442 and get some guile in in the middle of the park and another front man increasing depth in the squad. Please no Tommy Wright for manager crap.

23 Sep 2017 20:35:30
I'd rather have wright as manager than the current clown. At least Wright's team put up a performance against them and got a well deserved point. That's 1 more point than our so called manager has managed to get. It's that bad under him that it would be nice at least to see our team try and put a decent challenge to them rather than lie down to them which has happened since his clown arrived

23 Sep 2017 22:08:38
St Johnstone are 2nd with Wright working on a shoestring budget.
Dont know if he is the answer but is Caixinha?

23 Sep 2017 22:35:02
I like Tommy Wright but I like caixinha yes I said it I do I see his vision for rangers and see where he wants to take us with a sort of south American style of play which I'm well behind 8 games together and should of been in at half time at least a goal up and a man up referee looked as bias as i've seen in a old firm game.

Tierney two footed challenge I thought was a horror tackle luckily candeias only got caught by one of his flying legs. Morelos pen stick on and all these incidents change games. fair enough a silly clearance cost us for the first goal but if we were one up a man up playing full of confidence then these wee mistakes that crept in don't happen. twice in been to Ibrox hibs game and this today and both times I'd say the ref may as well of had a green scarf around his neck.

also positives thought mccrorie looked brilliant caught out once by the run of griffis but a good performance by a boy who could go all the way to the top tav looks brilliant again found his form fair enough not the best of deliverys but up Nd down whole game played well Morelos was unlucky a few times fans where amazing and one thing i'd like caixinha to do in training is make the players fitter tav could of played another 90 he's that fit but some of them where out on their feet by the 70th min also if your a man up and a goal up that changes and u would be the fitter team I suppose so the ref cost us again

23 Sep 2017 23:47:44
Sparky your a clown. Sick to the teeth of all you naysayers on here spouting off shite. We can either buid up slow but sure and improve over time, or get someone in who has the money to help us get there quicker. Money buys class and the bottom line is they have more than us. And before you come on with more shite there is probably no one in Scottish football that we could buy that are better than Celtics players. If there were, they would buy them. Looki g forward to hearing your words of wisdom. Dunbar Blue 😱

24 Sep 2017 02:38:09
Dunbar Blue. you are absolutely correct sir. We will hopefully improve year on year but it's a long road back. Moult and Walker are a classic example of what you are talking about. if they were that good Celtic would sign them. Simples.

23 Sep 2017 19:51:19
Too many passengers in our team . Nobody who can turn a game with skill or vision . Windass tries hard but he's not got the class required . Hodson is one of the worst we've had for a few good years, he's so average it's untrue. Young mccrorie done well especially 1st half.

23 Sep 2017 19:15:50
Poor showing today 8 points behind already, yes we have improved under Pedro but we're still miles behind
Not one rangers player would get in the celtic team.
As I've said before ped ain't the man to take us forward

23 Sep 2017 19:11:50
Come on highlandger2 it's time to come on with your excuses! We should a had a penalty, broony should a been sent off, wee Griffiths was offside! Come on get on here and give me a chuckle! Are u man enough to admit your team are miles off the champs? think broony has still got jack and dorrans in his back pocket! 😜😜😂😂😂😂😂

23 Sep 2017 19:35:23
No complaints from me we are no where near Celtic and won't be for a long time until we get some serious investment and a decent manager but not holding my breath

23 Sep 2017 20:12:11
Brown could play in his fifties if that's the standard he is up against. No one went near him couldn't image players like Souness or Hurlock letting him run the show like that

23 Sep 2017 20:55:21
Agreed but Brown gets away with elbows and sly kicks week in week out. Refs sfa spfl afraid of celtic and Lawell and they will rule the roost till they grow a pair. Butcher or Souness wouldt let him strole about at ibrox like the big time charlie.

24 Sep 2017 20:09:57
Ar9, butcher and souness are long gone. Is that the best you can do? Rangers don't have anyone who could play against Brown. Barton came up last season and all the Rangers support said he would run all the games. didn't happen. Warburton was the main man. He got sacked.

Pedro brings in Alvez and others. Rangers support talking about challenging Celtic because he signs 7 players no one has heard of. So what has Souness or Butcher got to do with anything happening today?

You spent your money now its sack the manager time as you think that all you need is to replace Warburton, Replace Pedro then you will be replacing the new guy. Accept that you have a 5 year rebuild before you get anywhere or stay middle of the pack team for ever.

23 Sep 2017 19:11:23
far from defending the two Mexicans, in view of the devastation in their homeland, would it not have been better to leave them out of todays squad? being so far from home must be devastating for them.

23 Sep 2017 20:36:41
Unreal

23 Sep 2017 22:40:30
Have to admit Pena was really ordinary no heart whatsoever pulling out of challenges and Hodson is not a defender in my eyes, Windass doesn't do enough the boy has talent but no engine we needed an enforcer in midfield to counter Brown as dorrans and jack were too deep thought young mccrorie was good but was punished badly for two lapses in concentration although the rest of the defence was at fault for the first goal as well and lastly where was the heart and commitment we don't have the class they have but we could have pushed them with sheer commitment.

23 Sep 2017 18:38:40
Someone suggested Walter to comeback for a swansong? At first I thought don't be ridiculous, but after a defeat and performance like that I am starting to think Walter? Pedros team lack any quality, fight and he is not the right man for the job? Today was a day to stop them playing football and hit them on the break and our Manager has no clue to do this! Good guy Pedro but out of his league? 😡😡.

23 Sep 2017 18:54:42
Agree Walter needs to get back pronto or for me
Rangers need to burst the bank for the man who should
Have got the job in the first place frank de boer

23 Sep 2017 19:08:54
Cool the jets lad 3/ 4 injuries that could have made a difference! We will grow as season progresses

23 Sep 2017 19:09:47
Frank de boer is not the answer either. Been sacked from last 2 jobs for poor results not the answer IMO

23 Sep 2017 20:13:22
Jzer

If you think that mob currentky masquerading in Rangers jerseys will ever do anything then u are totally delusional

24 Sep 2017 00:19:38
We are years away from challenging Celtic. Sir Alex couldn't do anything with that group of players compared to Celtic. Unless there is major investment and I mean £30 million then we just have to grin and bare it. The board have done well so far and will continue to improve but it will take time. We won't win a title again for a long time so we have to get used to this standard. We will get better but not quickly enough for some people. I can put up with the fact that we are mince but the lack of aggression is scary and the lack of pace in the team is the same.

24 Sep 2017 02:54:02
Walter is to old now lol we can't just keep shoutin walter when it goes tits up.

24 Sep 2017 20:02:28
We will grow as season progresses.
Ffs mate we have 4 points out of 4 home games, drew away to partick, extra time win in the cup, we're on the decline from Pedro took over.

23 Sep 2017 18:10:19
First post so here goes. Another dire result against them today.
Pedro should feed his players on bread and water for a week and they would not put in such a gutless performance again.
Bill Struth would not have stood for this underperforming.
Get Tommy Wright in now.

23 Sep 2017 18:23:01
Tommy Wright aye right good wan just the very answer. Tit.

23 Sep 2017 18:45:54
F@&k sale beat at a game of fitba and your wanting to starve them for a week ya numpty

23 Sep 2017 18:46:44
Could pedro be training our players too hard? all these injuries we are getting, the players looked knackered.

23 Sep 2017 18:50:26
Could be doing wae starving pena, fat lazy useless twit. 3mil aye right. Can't believe some fans rate him.

23 Sep 2017 18:53:52
I think Tommy Wright is a great shout. He's done a great job at St Johnstone (winning their first ever major trophy and qualifying consistently for Europe) and is a Rangers man.

23 Sep 2017 18:57:57
I think Tommy Wright is a great shout. He's done a great job at St Johnstone (winning their first major trophy and qualifying consistently for Europe) and is a Rangers man.

23 Sep 2017 20:28:16
Ffs people, if Tommy Wright is the answer, I for one never want tae hear the fkin question related to Rangers!

24 Sep 2017 20:00:11
No point in arguing with ourselves we still lack 3 quality first team players and another couple to the squad we were unlucky with injuries as well, hodson is horrendous, big pena gets into good positions but he needs fitness fingers xd he comes good, windass vanished again there's a player in there wether we c that player is a different story.

The first goal should have never happened I shout at ten year olds for defending like that. They had far too much time on the ball today as well, we need to get a grip with the second ball noticed it in the two partick games. I thought going in at half time 0-0 was a sign we were going to do it the day but oh well never happened we move on. Team is very much still a work in progress. its a better side than last year that's for sure but still a wide gap between us and that lot at the moment.

23 Sep 2017 17:35:56
Oh well back to work to hear that mob gloat bout how rubbish we are. Since when did we accept getting humped especially at home with no fight and say oh well it looks like we getting a bit better as we never got beat 5.0 pathetic. We are rangers we are the people and we demand better. Better coach will lead to better players and better results. They were rubbish under ronny d n now they are whatever amout of games unbeaten. Time for big sam . Thanks for trying pedro but your out your depth pal. Safe journey home.

23 Sep 2017 18:26:06
Diego, get a grip man. ronny d's tactics were push and they've bought a few good players since he left, who have been playing together for a while now. We have a complete new team with very few games together under their belt. We are much better than under MW. We gave the unwashed a game today. We'll beat them at some point this season and take the title next one, if we continue the way we're going. Stop putting the team and manager down and get behind the Club.

23 Sep 2017 18:39:15
Get a grip man. Massive improvement on last year and missing 3 first team starters today.

23 Sep 2017 18:48:27
Actually thot he got his tactics correct just not the personnel. Pena should have been whipped off at half time and once they get the goal they can pick us off. we're our own worse enemy at times

23 Sep 2017 20:27:46
Massive improvement? What do you base that on? 1 win out of 4 in the league, 8 points behind after 7 games and a European defeat to a team from Luxembourg! How is that a massive improvement? What are you talking about?

23 Sep 2017 21:52:58
Sparky away you and polish yer metal baws

24 Sep 2017 20:05:27
Take the title in the next one the way we're going, you are having a laugh, what the championship, no balls no heart and too much hugging at the end of the game . It's an old firm we hate them and they hate us, when we were tanking them they didn't hang about and hug and kiss after it.

24 Sep 2017 20:07:06
After 7 matches last season we had 9 points, scored 8 goals and conceded 9.

This season after 7 matches we have 11 points, scored 13 goals and conceded 10.

23 Sep 2017 17:23:33
Ok I will have a more diplomatic approach there is no atmosphere in ibrox now this has to change and fast, another issue for me is the unwashed getting the full broomy, pap them in a corner!

23 Sep 2017 17:14:31
It's a sad day when you are happy with a 2-0 defeat. Honestly most Gers fans including myself would have taken that result before the game? Can't say I am looking forward to going to the piggery!

23 Sep 2017 17:11:04
Would so love to see Walter take charge again for a final swan song. There is no way on this earth that one of his teams would have capitulated like that. They need their stones soundly booted for that. They didn't even need to get out of first gear. Will be interesting to see them get gubbed in Belgium on Wednesday and then assess just how much a team like Anderlecht is worth. I think you would be surprised.

23 Sep 2017 17:31:36
They strolled that game today and were never put under pressure. We stood off them and let them play. No one even attempted to get close to Brown who strolled through the game. This team isn't a Rangers side and there is no passion, no pride and no trophies. A team full of imposters who would rather not lose heavily to them than try and compete

23 Sep 2017 16:57:20
Hollywood budget nothing. We spent scottish hollywood on rubbish for pedro we just need a good manager who has a clue bout football. We are being embarrassed by that mob every time we play them. Big sam would stop that in a heart beat.

23 Sep 2017 17:15:53
It's a pity others on here can't see what's obvious to many. We are now considered a joke side by them and how easily they beat us is embarrassing.

23 Sep 2017 16:42:07
I am abslutely fed up reading here that Cahxina should be sacked forthwith. It sems to me this is because those calling for his head did not get there choice of McInnes, Wright, Davies, etc. We should have beaten Hearts and Partick, we didn't. Rangers have no devine right to win every game. Out of 11 players brought in there are a lot who do not think that the money was well spent on 2 of them. Are these the same people who didn't get Walker, Naismith, McLean, Moult etc. Critisice me all you want, but get behind the team, manager, players, and backroom staff.

23 Sep 2017 16:55:46
We can get behind the team, manager, players, and backroom staff all we like but with Pedro in charge Celtic are certs for 10 in a row.

Why PC was ever appointed remains a mystery to me. We were in second place this time last year and even after spending millions during the summer I don't think we're any better.

On another point, well done Ross McCrorie, the one player who excelled today.

23 Sep 2017 17:02:10
Blue toon

Fans are entitled to express the manager and if they don't think he is the answer then are entitled to say it. Maybe you think it's acceptable to lose to a 3rd rate team from
Luxembourg, to only win 1 out of 4 at home in the league, to lie down to Celtic every time we have played them under the manager and to be sitting 5th place 8 points behind them already but some of us expect a bit better

23 Sep 2017 17:17:38
You can be fed all you want when you think something's not working your entitled to an opinion I don't think caxhina the answer who would get to replace him in not certain. i know one thing we're not improved that much nowhere near competing with Celtic . there was nothing in that game today were going the right way heartless dross their laughing at us

23 Sep 2017 17:24:07
Sparky I think its really harsh calling Celtic a third rate team.
On a more serious note I thought we played well in the first half. If the ref had remembered his white stick and we got the blatant penalty its a different game. I still think they win, no denying they have the better team, our second half performance totally unacceptable.

23 Sep 2017 19:26:24
jacks and dorrans were as bad if not worse than pena. i recall u all wanting them.

23 Sep 2017 16:33:46
New manager? Big sam. Can work with limited funds. Has good connections and a eye for a player. Out of work. doesn't sleep with trannys. Gets my vote.

23 Sep 2017 16:46:29
Think big Sam has publicly come out and said he is in no rush for a job. If we go for a Hollywood name we need to back him with a Hollywood budget ( we'll Hollywood for Scotland. )

23 Sep 2017 16:46:36
Great shout mate

23 Sep 2017 16:58:50
Aye that's right corruption is his game!

You lot are unreal

23 Sep 2017 17:28:04
Daz bear

If Sam Allardyce was corrupt then why were no charges brought against him? Why was he allowed to manage Crystal Palace after the England job? Maybe you should think twice about banding the word corrupt about when that isn't true

23 Sep 2017 18:41:05
Listen sparky if you know anything about football then ask yourself why has big Sam had so many jobs, he plays a workman like team, boring to watch first and foremost and very predictable, Sam is not the answer
believe and support our current manager and this post goes out to all of our fans!

23 Sep 2017 16:27:46
Folks,
I have been worried about the direction or lack thereof. I am not convinced we have the right management team in place, but am at a loss to suggest anyone that could actually do much with some of those players. I know l should be backing the team but am concerned that mediocre seems to be acceptable to some at our club. Up at crack of dawn to watch this today. Best that can be said is we were lucky it was not a cricket score. sadly l don't think Pedro is up to the job. I am not normally a doom merchant, but am unable to see any light after that performance, does it hurt or what?

23 Sep 2017 16:49:23
Your right mate it's sad how many Rangers suppprters still think the manager is up to the job. He has been a woeful appointment and is taking us backwards. There is now no old firm rivalry and we are a poor side who would rather not lose heavily to them than try and win

23 Sep 2017 19:12:20
Why not give Graeme Murty a chance? He got us a draw against them in his last game and knows all about which youngsters could fit in.

23 Sep 2017 16:18:14
I love how most people try to put the blame on to the foreign players, for me jack and dorrans where absolutely woeful, Pena was no the worst player on the park, dorrans started putting a bit of dig in at the last 5 mins what is that all about, wee Ross mccrorie at the back was outstanding and should keep his place, biggest problem for me was that they gave that mob far too much respect playing wee Morelos up on his own and constantly lumping it up to him against a celtic defence of tall guys that are happy to win the headers all day long bewilders me!

23 Sep 2017 17:16:19
can't believe what I am reading on these posts we must be the most critical fans in the world up till they scored with a lucky break we were every bit as good as them if the ref had done his job right it might have been a different outcome

23 Sep 2017 16:18:05
iwould get shot of the Portuguese staff and give the job to Graham Murty till the end of this season, if he gets us to 2nd spot give him a contract.

23 Sep 2017 16:55:09
How does tha help rebuilding. Murty is and always will be a youth team coach.

23 Sep 2017 17:00:06
Unfortunately GM doesn't want to be a manager. His one OF game in charge shows Pedro up for what he is. A manager with no tactical nous who plays up to the gallery at every opportunity and who has wasted millions on the likes of Pena, who doesn't even seem very interested in playing for us but who draws big money every week for doing next to nothing on the park.

23 Sep 2017 15:51:22
Not going to pass comment on the game. What's happened has happened. Lots of posts though wanting pedro out ( which for me is beyond belief) . But no one has mentioned who they want brought in, so come on big mouths, start naming names. First person who says mcinnes will be shot lol.

23 Sep 2017 16:24:41
James2016

Well if your happy with his record so far then it's up to you. 1 win in 4 at home in league, knocked out in first round of Europa league by the 4th best team in Luxembourg as well as 3 ridiculously easy defeats against Celtic. Under him we lie down to them and are more worried about not being hammered than trying to win the game. I'd rather have McInnes who knows what it's like to play for Rangers and knows the Scottish game

23 Sep 2017 16:37:14
Would agree with your sentiment about Pedro.

But to suggest the usual suspects like McCiness, McCleish and Tommy Wright are the only names out there to replace him, or that anyone good enough wouldn't take the job, is just as ridiculous as those wanting Pedro out after seven games.

Aitor Karanka.
Nigel Pearson.
Michael O Neill.
Slavisa Jokanovic.
Vitor Pereria.

Just throwing names out there.

Michael O Neill would be my personal choice but I'm well aware that he'd likely not come to us.

{Ed001's Note - Pearson has just taken a new job.}

23 Sep 2017 16:58:56
Sparky. I'm not pedros biggest fan but I'm willing to give him a chance. He was on a hiding to nothing last season when he came in and we should at least give him a full season to show us if he can improve the team. Ok the euro result was awful but better managers have had just as bad euro results n got over it. Our biggest problem is, we look at Celtic and think we should automatically be up there with them. We have the makings of a good squad but folk on here make me laugh by suggesting some of the new guys are duds after 10 games or so.

23 Sep 2017 17:05:32
karanka - sure he is in talks with Birmingham city.
Pearson - just took new job
O'Neil - would need to ride his bike to work
Jokanovic - isn't he the Fulham manager? So doubt he would come
Pereria- would be the same risk as pedro. No knowledge of our game.

So where does that leave us? I'm sure someone will say Tommy Wright. Yes doing a really good job at st j. I wanted us too push the boat out for FDB before pedro but look how things have turned out for him at palace.

23 Sep 2017 15:47:39
Think this is maybe how it feels for some supporters of our current Rangers team.

I remember when we used to play at Ibrox against that lot.

I would feel a mix of surprise and major disappointment if we got well beaten by our rivals at our home ground.

Now I feel a mix of expectation and major relief. Relief that it wasn't more and that we weren't completely walked over.

What a turn of events. Put it this way. Regardless of what eleven a manager is able to put out, you should be able to guarantee a competitive 90 minutes (not 30 minutes), where your well supported team should be able to put up a fight.

What we got today we're in the majority, a group of individuals who were completely terrified of their opponents and shrieked away from anything competitive.

Is it wrong to expect more? Or is this Glasgow Rangers, "New standards".

23 Sep 2017 16:22:33
one of the most worrying things for me was watching windass having a laugh and a joke with the thumb at the end. guy spent 90 minutes winding us up! applaud the fans and get off the pitch!

23 Sep 2017 15:43:39
i accept we have a long road ahead, but 11 points from a possible 21 is just not on, in fact its pathetic. We need a leader who LOVES OUR CLUB, not a charlatan who thinks he is a stand up comedian.

23 Sep 2017 16:09:22
Ritchie2 ok I respect your right to have an opinion on the matter but like so many 'fans' on this forum who want pedro out (again entitled to your own opinion) . At no point do you mention a suitable replacement. If anyone says mcinnes I'll wet myself.

23 Sep 2017 15:30:06
We have been absutely humped with what we have paid for herrera and pena. In fact is there a precedent for bringing in the fraud squad
I have seen fitter players playing at a much lower level.

they wouldn't even survive as Sunday league players, says a lot for Caixinha's judgement of the market

23 Sep 2017 16:17:16
It was shown in the Europa league when we were put out in the first round by a Sunday league side. 4 home games in league 1 win. It's incredible some fans still think the manager will be a success. This team are a collection of players with no passion and utterly terrified of Celtic. Brown will be able to play into his 50s if that's the kind of challenge he gets in an old firm game. Total embarrassment

23 Sep 2017 15:26:21
Sorry guys predictive text, it should have been dorrans started to put the boot in.

23 Sep 2017 15:19:53
Lack of real quality cost Rangers today, fearful of another 1-5 they say deep and let Celtic have the ball, lacked the pace/ nous/ quality to hurt Celtic on the counter attack.

Pena (how long does it take anyone to "get fit"? ) - waste of money - to think Rangers could've signed Moult, Walker and Lafferty for his fee.

McCrorie, Windass played well.

Morelos too isolated and lack support.

I'd have given Matt Crooks another season too.

23 Sep 2017 15:28:16
Windass played well? When?

23 Sep 2017 15:33:21
Personally think yous should be happy with the progres made. Much improved first half and kept it down to two goals. It is clear that Caixinha has brought the team on since the bread man.

23 Sep 2017 15:49:50
Agree spelt progress wrong mate🤡

23 Sep 2017 16:04:12
Sorry mate keeping it down to 2 and being happy with that no not good enough. all the games against caxhina played against them we've not got near them I don't see it changeing yes we've got better not that much seeing the money spent I think he's clueless not suited to scottish football

23 Sep 2017 15:14:50
Big halves bottle merchant watched against partick he couldn't wait to get off, well done young mcrorrie, Hobson is dire torchered all day without putting in a challenge, for get Herrera slow can't jump, for fans starts to put the boot in in extra time and forget Pedro, the board must show some bottle and accept that they made a mistake, this is not rangers we are watching it just eleven guys with blue jerseys, where is the heart where is the passion we are Glasgow Rangers.

23 Sep 2017 15:32:02
Jake

Couldn't agree more mate a team full of imposters. Absolutely no heart today and to allow Brown to stroll about is symptomatic of how far we have fallen. We meekly lie down to them these days and it's now a case of them just getting the points without breaking sweat.

23 Sep 2017 14:44:11
No doubt I'll get pelters for this, but.
We get the penalty and Thomson finds the balls to actually book a Celtic player early doors, then it's mibbie a different game. Mibbie not.
I think we are better than last season. Better players, better organized. Nowhere near ready to challenge for top spot yet but we don't have the required £20 million or so needed. I really do believe the players will gel during the season and we will get 2nd place. I would prefer first obviously but we are a couple seasons away from that in my opinion.

23 Sep 2017 14:58:45
You are totally delusional if you think that might have made a difference they are better in every department, they are fitter, hungrier and can pass the ball. The team is awful and were lucky to get away with a 2-0 defeat

23 Sep 2017 15:19:15
Here we go again. Rangers have bought duds before and will again. Herrera is a dud, Pena is getting close to that but jury is out. We let brown dominate because we didn't want to go toe to toe. See the list below. None would have or did make a difference. We need to go 442, but need better players. looking at mccorrie he would be better than Wallace at left back.

Wallace
Ohalloron
Holt
Haliday
Kranjar
Miller
Hudson
Wilson
Herrea
Pena?
Windlass Lot of cash there.

Need time

23 Sep 2017 22:12:01
Wit you blowing on about windy?

23 Sep 2017 14:28:15
Just home from the game, hopeless yet again, Pena can't even run, we were lucky it wasn't five again, Pedro times up I'm afraid.

23 Sep 2017 14:38:19
Yeah he needs to go utterly clueless

23 Sep 2017 17:13:01
Definitely not good enough but definitely better and much stronger than last season.

23 Sep 2017 14:27:42
I’ve been a backer of Pedro and how he plays and what but trying to do.

However. not that we were terrible today but I just don’t see how he can turn this around.
He has had long enough to show us he is the man and now his record is worse than Le Guen.
Problem being I don’t know who to replace him with, McInnes, not won a jot, Tommy Wright, not won a jot, Billy Davies, absolute donut.

Where do we go from here?

23 Sep 2017 16:11:45
I would go for Tommy Wright now and cut our losses with Pedro. NOW.

23 Sep 2017 14:11:41
Going for a ratings of the players after that.

Foderingham-6-Couple of good saves but distribution was shocking today.

Tavernier-6-Did better defensively than I expected.

Cardoso-5-Needs to sharpen up and have better awareness.

McCrorie-8-Best player for Rangers today, can be proud of his performance.

Hodson-3-Worst Player on the park, looked terrified everytime Roberts came near him.

Jack-7-Does everything so simple and tried his best to break up play, one of the positive players.

Dorrans-6-Has good moments but needs to be more consistent.

Candeias-6-Helped Tav defensively but really ineffective going forward.

Pena-6-Looked alright in the first half but still needs games before we see the best of him I feel.

Windass-6-Looked a player in the first half then completely disappeared in the second.

Morelos-6-Looked lazy at times and should be more aware to stay onside but will get better and showed glimpses.

Subs

Miller-4-Didn't do much when he came on and looked lost at times.

Herrera and Nemane-No real time to make an impact.

23 Sep 2017 14:30:39
Pena is just lazy and can't be bothered. Morelos will get goals but he needs better service and that's the problem we don't have vision too many opportunities wasted by passing it back the way. Frustrating to watch and it hurts even more with they dhims lording it over us. Ohh well I will be hiding at work on monday.

23 Sep 2017 14:40:48
How can you give Pena pass marks? He did nothing and the game passed him by. As for Dorrans and Jack they let Brown stroll through the game and neither put a tackle in. The team has no heart and the manager no clue

23 Sep 2017 13:54:44
Total garbage showed no heart atoll real pissed of players just not good anuff and no pace to hit on counter eather all in all pish.

23 Sep 2017 14:11:24
Brown was allowed to stroll through the game not one tackle put in. Meekly accepted defeat once again. Manager is an utter clown totally clueless

23 Sep 2017 14:17:26
@bluetoon and the rest of the deluded, so what did you think of pena today? Do you's still think that pena and herrera are worth the 5mil we paid for them🤔? Personally I thought pena looked lazy and well out his depth, and herrera, well less said the better. On a plus, young mccrorie looked class, this lad must play every week.

23 Sep 2017 14:44:30
Agree totally why was broon allowed to stroll about park like was playing a kick a boot game in park

23 Sep 2017 13:32:57
What has happened since half time absolutely pish

23 Sep 2017 13:45:51
Their just not good enough never looked like winning game infact never come near Celtic any caxhina 3 games against then been well and truly humped every game

23 Sep 2017 14:12:54
Another gutless performance. Under Pedro we lie down to them no fight no spirit we will never get close to them under him

23 Sep 2017 11:54:51
Without Alves I fear for us?
We really could take a good thumping and I hope we are very defensive and play 5 at the back!

23 Sep 2017 12:52:37
Mccrorie is doing fine. We look like we have more fight in us, I honestly think were winning this.

23 Sep 2017 12:59:09
Pena needs to come off. nowere near fit enuf to cope with ther midfield runners and hodson needs a hand dealing with Roberts. i just hope pedro gets Pena off before its to late

23 Sep 2017 13:35:22
Well I tried to be positive but it was for nothing we are still rank rotten, couldn't finish our dinner.

23 Sep 2017 14:18:23
The only slight chance we had was if he took pena off before they scored but he waited to long. i just hope he's still searching for fitness and that's not the way he actually plays

23 Sep 2017 14:42:30
Der goalie did you not see Lewis molt in midweek this rangers squad not including jack dorrans and young mcgrory not good enough Lewis molt pedro useless not willing to pay for walker and molt but wasted millions on penna guy not have a clue

23 Sep 2017 17:10:23
Sack this clown or we will finish 4th. absolute shambles anybody in this page standing by Caxinha leave clearly not a clue! Dorrans Jack can't play together Windass once again poor! Morelos Mcrorrie only pass marks! Shambles

23 Sep 2017 11:53:56
When will you all realise Lewis Moult isn't good enough to play for The Rangers.

We should be looking at far better quality than this.

If he was good enough to play for us then he would have been off down south to championship, League 1 or 2 in the summer yet he remains at motherwell.

Endless amount of players throughout Europe and on the continent we could go for.

23 Sep 2017 14:20:06
Absolute pish der goalie1

23 Sep 2017 11:20:41
Team selection should keep everyone happy miller on bench only downside is alves missing but your Ross mcrorie put in his place he will work his butt off midfield looks strong pena and morelos to score com on shut these dhims up make a statement today get right on about them from the off.

23 Sep 2017 10:45:14
C'mon the rangers get fired in best of luck.

23 Sep 2017 08:12:04
Good luck today fellow Bears.

Great discussions this week on the team and who might start.

Come on Rangers. We can do it.

23 Sep 2017 00:37:29
Less than 12 hours to go, whoever gets a starting jersey must grasp the opportunity with both hands as nothing short of 100% effort and commitment will do. Will not accept another doing by that lot. Have to be optimistic so fancy 2-1 Morelos and Windass with a staunch late winner for the scenes.

23 Sep 2017 00:19:55
Dont want to be negative but I think we might be in for a defeat tomorrow but at the same time I like Pedro and given time he will build a team. The fans will dictate if he is sacked of course but we need to give him time to get us back to greatness. I just think that at this moment in time he's a couple players short. In reality we are a bang average team and our fans expect Rangers from the 90s and 2nd walter era to dominate and compete in these games. I like to think i'm a realist. Lose a few battles but build and win the war. Look my point is Captains injured left back. Alves injured cb don't think windass is the answer at left mid probs wanted walker but was told to wait for pre contract. Wanted mclean told the same and kenny miller probs wanted moult but told to wait for pre contract and naismith probably the same. I feel sorry for the once great Niko kranjar but having watched him last season and this season he needs to hang up his boots. For the game I would have rossiter, dorrans and Jack in a tough tackling 3 breaking up play and quickly distributing the ball to pena on the left or candeas on the right for morales bashing defenders left right and centre. Herrera looked good when he came on could be an option later on. Looking at the walter smith playbook I would play 451 and look to score from a set play. I do think pedro is brave and will go with the same 442 formation and will start miller up front for his experience. don't get me wrong I hope we turn up and play like Barcelona tomorrow and run riot with a morales hatrick and an alves freekick then ryan jack elbow drops brown but only receives a yellow card. Then miller comes on scores a double chips the keeper and a low driven volly into the top pocket. We win 6 - 0 and on the football phone in all the celtic fans are greeting about refereeing conspiracies and the sfa are out to get them. Would love that. Would rattle a bottle of j walker hit the casino and put a grand on red 32. Would walk into work big swagger walking by all the Tims saying **** you eh lol.

23 Sep 2017 05:18:40
What a mad post that was😂

23 Sep 2017 07:28:09
RfCChris maybe still suffering a night out with Pena

23 Sep 2017 08:19:32
Rfchris sounds like rayman99 in disguise the bang average quote gives it away and then the ramble of just total drivel any rangers fan knows rossiter is injured with a knee problem

23 Sep 2017 09:53:10
1. i'm a season ticket holder
2. I didn't know rossiter was injured.
3. We are an average team
4. With a few key additions we could be a very good team walker, moult, naismith and mclean.
5. I want Rangers to win today might of carried away with 6-0 and the rtan jack elbow drop

23 Sep 2017 11:04:06
I hope the team shows as much commitment and passion as Chris has in his post. You're clearly buzzing big man!
Let's leave the slagging off of our supporters to the trolls lads.
