i would like to see pedro get it right at the club but so far the only diffrence between this season and last season is the players we are still not winning against the likes of hibs hearts partick still lacking creativity in midfield still shiping goals still only 1 striker scoring for the sums paid for these players they should be a lot better for me player reqruitment has been poor this summer there was better alternatives 2 pena herrerra cardoso dalcio

So get rid of Pedro. New manager comes in get rid of say 5 of his signings but we still have around 10 of warbs signings on the books so they have to go. Get a grip. Celtic had Ronnie because we were no were to be seen. First year back Brendan walks in. This is serious payback, and it hurts.

We need to learn fast. Next window expect to see more released and more come in. We need to play 442 and get some guile in in the middle of the park and another front man increasing depth in the squad. Please no Tommy Wright for manager crap.

I'd rather have wright as manager than the current clown. At least Wright's team put up a performance against them and got a well deserved point. That's 1 more point than our so called manager has managed to get. It's that bad under him that it would be nice at least to see our team try and put a decent challenge to them rather than lie down to them which has happened since his clown arrived

I like Tommy Wright but I like caixinha yes I said it I do I see his vision for rangers and see where he wants to take us with a sort of south American style of play which I'm well behind 8 games together and should of been in at half time at least a goal up and a man up referee looked as bias as i've seen in a old firm game.

Tierney two footed challenge I thought was a horror tackle luckily candeias only got caught by one of his flying legs. Morelos pen stick on and all these incidents change games. fair enough a silly clearance cost us for the first goal but if we were one up a man up playing full of confidence then these wee mistakes that crept in don't happen. twice in been to Ibrox hibs game and this today and both times I'd say the ref may as well of had a green scarf around his neck.

also positives thought mccrorie looked brilliant caught out once by the run of griffis but a good performance by a boy who could go all the way to the top tav looks brilliant again found his form fair enough not the best of deliverys but up Nd down whole game played well Morelos was unlucky a few times fans where amazing and one thing i'd like caixinha to do in training is make the players fitter tav could of played another 90 he's that fit but some of them where out on their feet by the 70th min also if your a man up and a goal up that changes and u would be the fitter team I suppose so the ref cost us again

Have to admit Pena was really ordinary no heart whatsoever pulling out of challenges and Hodson is not a defender in my eyes, Windass doesn't do enough the boy has talent but no engine we needed an enforcer in midfield to counter Brown as dorrans and jack were too deep thought young mccrorie was good but was punished badly for two lapses in concentration although the rest of the defence was at fault for the first goal as well and lastly where was the heart and commitment we don't have the class they have but we could have pushed them with sheer commitment.

I think Tommy Wright is a great shout. He's done a great job at St Johnstone (winning their first ever major trophy and qualifying consistently for Europe) and is a Rangers man.

No point in arguing with ourselves we still lack 3 quality first team players and another couple to the squad we were unlucky with injuries as well, hodson is horrendous, big pena gets into good positions but he needs fitness fingers xd he comes good, windass vanished again there's a player in there wether we c that player is a different story.

The first goal should have never happened I shout at ten year olds for defending like that. They had far too much time on the ball today as well, we need to get a grip with the second ball noticed it in the two partick games. I thought going in at half time 0-0 was a sign we were going to do it the day but oh well never happened we move on. Team is very much still a work in progress. its a better side than last year that's for sure but still a wide gap between us and that lot at the moment.

Would so love to see Walter take charge again for a final swan song. There is no way on this earth that one of his teams would have capitulated like that. They need their stones soundly booted for that. They didn't even need to get out of first gear. Will be interesting to see them get gubbed in Belgium on Wednesday and then assess just how much a team like Anderlecht is worth. I think you would be surprised.

They strolled that game today and were never put under pressure. We stood off them and let them play. No one even attempted to get close to Brown who strolled through the game. This team isn't a Rangers side and there is no passion, no pride and no trophies. A team full of imposters who would rather not lose heavily to them than try and compete

I am abslutely fed up reading here that Cahxina should be sacked forthwith. It sems to me this is because those calling for his head did not get there choice of McInnes, Wright, Davies, etc. We should have beaten Hearts and Partick, we didn't. Rangers have no devine right to win every game. Out of 11 players brought in there are a lot who do not think that the money was well spent on 2 of them. Are these the same people who didn't get Walker, Naismith, McLean, Moult etc. Critisice me all you want, but get behind the team, manager, players, and backroom staff.

Why PC was ever appointed remains a mystery to me. We were in second place this time last year and even after spending millions during the summer I don't think we're any better.

Fans are entitled to express the manager and if they don't think he is the answer then are entitled to say it. Maybe you think it's acceptable to lose to a 3rd rate team from
Luxembourg, to only win 1 out of 4 at home in the league, to lie down to Celtic every time we have played them under the manager and to be sitting 5th place 8 points behind them already but some of us expect a bit better

On a more serious note I thought we played well in the first half. If the ref had remembered his white stick and we got the blatant penalty its a different game. I still think they win, no denying they have the better team, our second half performance totally unacceptable.

I have been worried about the direction or lack thereof. I am not convinced we have the right management team in place, but am at a loss to suggest anyone that could actually do much with some of those players. I know l should be backing the team but am concerned that mediocre seems to be acceptable to some at our club. Up at crack of dawn to watch this today. Best that can be said is we were lucky it was not a cricket score. sadly l don't think Pedro is up to the job. I am not normally a doom merchant, but am unable to see any light after that performance, does it hurt or what?

Unfortunately GM doesn't want to be a manager. His one OF game in charge shows Pedro up for what he is. A manager with no tactical nous who plays up to the gallery at every opportunity and who has wasted millions on the likes of Pena, who doesn't even seem very interested in playing for us but who draws big money every week for doing next to nothing on the park.

Think this is maybe how it feels for some supporters of our current Rangers team.

I remember when we used to play at Ibrox against that lot.

I would feel a mix of surprise and major disappointment if we got well beaten by our rivals at our home ground.

Now I feel a mix of expectation and major relief. Relief that it wasn't more and that we weren't completely walked over.

What a turn of events. Put it this way. Regardless of what eleven a manager is able to put out, you should be able to guarantee a competitive 90 minutes (not 30 minutes), where your well supported team should be able to put up a fight.

What we got today we're in the majority, a group of individuals who were completely terrified of their opponents and shrieked away from anything competitive.

Is it wrong to expect more? Or is this Glasgow Rangers, "New standards".

It was shown in the Europa league when we were put out in the first round by a Sunday league side. 4 home games in league 1 win. It's incredible some fans still think the manager will be a success. This team are a collection of players with no passion and utterly terrified of Celtic. Brown will be able to play into his 50s if that's the kind of challenge he gets in an old firm game. Lack of real quality cost Rangers today, fearful of another 1-5 they say deep and let Celtic have the ball, lacked the pace/ nous/ quality to hurt Celtic on the counter attack.

Pena (how long does it take anyone to "get fit"? ) - waste of money - to think Rangers could've signed Moult, Walker and Lafferty for his fee.

McCrorie, Windass played well.

Morelos too isolated and lack support.

I'd have given Matt Crooks another season too.

I think we are better than last season. Better players, better organized. Nowhere near ready to challenge for top spot yet but we don't have the required £20 million or so needed. I really do believe the players will gel during the season and we will get 2nd place. I would prefer first obviously but we are a couple seasons away from that in my opinion.

I’ve been a backer of Pedro and how he plays and what but trying to do.

However. not that we were terrible today but I just don’t see how he can turn this around.
He has had long enough to show us he is the man and now his record is worse than Le Guen.
Problem being I don’t know who to replace him with, McInnes, not won a jot, Tommy Wright, not won a jot, Billy Davies, absolute donut.

Where do we go from here?

Dont want to be negative but I think we might be in for a defeat tomorrow but at the same time I like Pedro and given time he will build a team. The fans will dictate if he is sacked of course but we need to give him time to get us back to greatness. I just think that at this moment in time he's a couple players short. In reality we are a bang average team and our fans expect Rangers from the 90s and 2nd walter era to dominate and compete in these games. I like to think i'm a realist. Lose a few battles but build and win the war. Look my point is Captains injured left back. Alves injured cb don't think windass is the answer at left mid probs wanted walker but was told to wait for pre contract. Wanted mclean told the same and kenny miller probs wanted moult but told to wait for pre contract and naismith probably the same. I feel sorry for the once great Niko kranjar but having watched him last season and this season he needs to hang up his boots. For the game I would have rossiter, dorrans and Jack in a tough tackling 3 breaking up play and quickly distributing the ball to pena on the left or candeas on the right for morales bashing defenders left right and centre. Herrera looked good when he came on could be an option later on. Looking at the walter smith playbook I would play 451 and look to score from a set play. I do think pedro is brave and will go with the same 442 formation and will start miller up front for his experience. don't get me wrong I hope we turn up and play like Barcelona tomorrow and run riot with a morales hatrick and an alves freekick then ryan jack elbow drops brown but only receives a yellow card. Then miller comes on scores a double chips the keeper and a low driven volly into the top pocket. We win 6 - 0 and on the football phone in all the celtic fans are greeting about refereeing conspiracies and the sfa are out to get them. Would love that. Would rattle a bottle of j walker hit the casino and put a grand on red 32. Would walk into work big swagger walking by all the Tims saying **** you eh lol.
