Some interesting reading as to why Judge Lodge Hodge found in favour of Martin Bain in the recent court case. Also gives insight into some of the structure of Whyte's deal to take over Rangers.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-15041278

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Nothing in that bit of news that we didn't know before apart from the fact that BaldyBain Is Fekked.
The comment below alone states he will not win the case against RFC - He didn't know if the board agreed his contract- they didn't , so he did not have a 39 month contract, plus he walked out in anycase .. baldy fekker should be giving the club 1.4 million.

what the Judge said
"I found that surprising as I would have expected the chief executive of a public company to be aware whether or not his employment contract had the needed shareholder approval."

BRILLIANT :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

That is irrelevant in relation to what Bain is suing Rangers for.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not irrelevant - if he wasn't contracted, his claim against the board is has no basis as he is suing for breach of contract. One less thing to worry about... though the case is by no means over. Muzz

Agree0 Disagree0

Muss - there is another way of looking at it. It is illegal for an employer not to give an employee a contract. So if he had no contract, then that would be illegal.

I'm fed up with this now, Mr Whyte promised us 5MILLION and we got 1Million if that, if we cant even afford this other foreigner again due to the fact he wanted more money than we could afford it says it all.
We need some money put into the squad thats for sure! And if Mr Whyte can't sort that out were in trouble!!

Believable2 Unbelievable3

After the joy of sunday is that us back to the negativity?

Agree2 Disagree0

Reality check. 45 minutes do not make a season.

Agree1 Disagree0

That is the way it seems

Agree1 Disagree0

Joy of sunday went when we got beat by a nothing team mate ally out now

Agree1 Disagree4

Get a grip, top of the league by 4 points. We have the squad we have. If u don't like it go and support another team as we dont need ur negativity,

in ally we trust

Agree0 Disagree1

So we're not allowed to have an opinion now if it isn't the same as yours.

Agree1 Disagree0

Whats the point in bringing in more players when we're fairly comfortable at the top of the league? We're not challenging in Europe so from a business point of view, there is no reason to bring in more faces. If we're struggling with injury or bad results come January, i'm sure Whyte will take some steps. However, at the minute i don't think we need further financial drains as we have the youth to fill in any cracks. Muzz

Am I the only one who thought Bedoya looked great? Calm and composed on the ball, Got pace and a beautiful range of passing. Think he will be a really good player for us. Don't forget that he has never played in Scotland before. Can't wait to see him in the future, Good Luck Ale.

Who else thinks that David Weir won't get back in to the team with Bocanegra, Goian, Bartley and Perry in his position?

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Get him into part of the management team

Agree5 Disagree0

Even if he does not play, he is a really good man to have around the club in any capacity

RANGERS FUTURE TEAM:
mcgregor (29)
cole (19)
perry (21) subs
bartley (20) gallacher (21)
wallace (24) mcmillan (22)
naismith (25) bendiksen (22)
davis (26) fleck (20)
ness (20) lafferty (24)
wylde (20)
hemmings (20)
jelavic (26)

average age: 22

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Wishful thinking that mate. Jela will be away in Jan and maybe Davis as well. Bartley isn't our player and if any of the youngsters turn out to be half decent they will off to England. Sad fact is we are a selling club now so keeping a team together is going to be very difficult. Will always be Scotlands no1 tho.

Agree4 Disagree3

If it's a future team then their current age wouldn't be 22.

aren't we going into administration this week? haha that mob have been pretty quiet this week

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Oh dear you spoke too soon, Lord Hodge in his written judgement in martin bain case said "there is a real and imminent danger of Rangers becoming insolvent" it also said that if HMRC won the tax case, it was structured so Mr Whyte would not lose out but Rangers would, sadly you never listened to the old boards warning and now look........ Timalloy

Agree2 Disagree2

Now look nothing.Nobody has a clue whats goona happen. Go back to the losers page Timbamalloy.

Agree2 Disagree0

Aye timmy and I'm sure you would have read all that post by the BBC which also says that Martin bains contract that he is suing for breach of contract was also not authorised by the shareholders and we are supposed to believe everything that comes out from his camp aye sure, we have people in place to worry about our problems and they will be sorted out in due course, weather it is good or bad I will continue to follow my team with pride, the mighty gers will allways exist and will allways be the team leading the pack in Scotland.

Should you not be worried by the fact that t**t ( the wee angry tim ) has not won any of the serious must win games, Utrecht cis cup final sion can't be arsed thinking of the rest I've got better things to think about like who I'm putting in ma fantasy fitbaw team for the morra lol

Cranny CF3

Agree3 Disagree0

Well said Cranny. Timalloy and Miko's banter is sleep inducing. They are obsessed with us. I really do hope their next s**tes a hedgehog. Celtic cant accept they are the second force and always will be. RANGERS ALWAYS WILL BE NO 1.

Agree2 Disagree0

You are only insolvent when your debt is ls larger than you assets, Rangers are £50 million in the red as they have not been given any total from the tax man. so i have question the dim's logic???

Agree0 Disagree0

Timallow wants to be a bear,he is sick of his own team being s..t, thats why he is always on our site. {Ed014's Note - If you added an 'e' there you had a poem.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cranny CF3- whether Martin Bain's contract was or was not authorised by the board of directors is totally irrelevant as to whether Rangers will go into administration.

Cranny CF3

Agree0 Disagree0

My point is was not about what may or may not happen with the investigation to see IF we are due to pay tax on the monies paid into the ebt's it was more to the point that everyone seems to be believing everything Bain has been sprouting in the media and don't be using my name to sign off on yer post lavvy heid

Cranny CF3

Agree0 Disagree0

Dimalloy - Do you still think that Rangers will go bust ? more chance of you winning an away game in Europe ya maddy.

Agree1 Disagree1

I can't believe there are so many "osterichs'"who support Rangers , Craig Whyte himself has told yous that there will be a massive re-structuring of the way Rangers are run , with £m's to be shaved off the wage bill , which will result in top players being sold to get the wage bill down to an accepted level , the extent of the tax liability will be determined in November , there are tough times ahead , don't expect any big signings in the next few years .

I enjoy the michael taking Randolph, hugs and kisses Timalloy

Educated banter is welcome but not the drivel spouted by Timally and Miko at times. Worry about your own team chaps. We're fine where we are. AT THE TOP.

No sure how the word "numpty" doesn't pass your "review stage" when I look at some of the much more inflammatory stuff you stick up, invariably from these two muppet selic boys that are never off here.

It's an expression of my views on the man's abilities as a football manager and nothing in the least bit sinister. Think the thought police are in overdrive to be honest.

You can change it to whatever is deemed ok: muppet, trumpet, walloper whatever you choose, but substituting the word "person" doesn't make sense.

Think the editorial team need to have a word with themselves- and no for the first time.

Randolph TB {Ed001's Note - numpty won't get changed, you clearly didn't use that word, so stop whining about something that isn't true. Idiot (and a number of extremely offensive terms) get changed automatically by the spam filter to person, purely because as soon as you descend to just using insulting terms it tends to stir up abusive replies.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Are you mad? The things you let those 2 post doesnt stir up abusive replies? Get a grip your sites becoming a joke. {Ed001's Note - then go elsewhere, because your whining is what is spoiling it. If having banter with opposing fans turns to abuse, it is because you can't take a joke and have to reply with abuse. So grow up or go elsewhere.}

Agree0 Disagree1

Stop moaning you idiot it doesn't matter.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol i love how he tries to say that "numpty"doesnt get posted yet in that very post shows up twice !

iv seen some of your posts before on here Randolph and you offer nothing constructive to the site .... u were never asked or invited to come here therefore did so on your account ... u can leave the same way ....

shut the door behind u....

Morning Bears, Miko we are always behind Celtic somehow I don't think so. Who was the first club team ever to win 50 league titles? World record may I addM
Most succesful club team in world FACT .
Always living in our shadow you think you would be used to it by now.
Hopefully big Terry does us another favour tomorrow can't really see Caley getting anything
out the game but. GLASGOW IS BLUE.

Billyboy1

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Look guys wh cares who did what first .... how that shows your being superior i dint know if anything it shows that you are unable to produce modern day facts to win an arguement therfore dig up the past .... i dont dwell on the "world record tag" as the whole world aint playing on the same level therfore i fell is irelevant, however one very valid point is that u can compare rangers and celtic in domestic competitions as every year since their existence they have played in the same leagues against the same teams with the same players, therefore can be used as a fair comparison. Do this and you will see that Rangers dominate celtic in terms of honours.

Therefore to conclude the only truly FAIR and EQUAL way to compare the two teams is look at how they do in comps against each other amd in this scenario gers HUMP celtic therefore we are perfectly entitled to say they are living in our shadows and ARE the runners up club.

It must be dark over there at parkhead all that shade their in !

Do we think Celtic will sack the lemon when lagging badly behind at Xmas? I personally really hope no!

All the carry on last year making his retention of the job through the sympathy vote has really worked in our favour! :-) He hasnae a clue! Gash centre halves, a pesh keeper (to add to the pantheon of mince they've always had in goal compared to our world class: Woods, Goram, Klos, Greegs- we been spoilt!), and a midfield they all rave about that goes AWOL every time they play us.

4IAR should be a formality. They won a watch to somehow get in front at the weekend doing nothing to merit it and STILL contrived to bottle it. They are losers. Born losers. All their fans that continually post garbage on here know it too deep down, that's why it's all "taxman bla bla" from them. They know their manager's a person and this is their only hope. League cup defeat is a handy reminder to the Rangers players that your attitude needs to be right every game, and should be of benefit in securing 4IAR which is all that really matters.

I EXPECT to win the league this season by a double digit points margin.

Randolph TB

Believable3 Unbelievable0

"and a midfield they all rave about that goes AWOL every time they play us"

Are you taking the p**s? Is this based on one game you have beaten us in this season? I seem to remember that recent history shows different. You beat us well last Sunday and in the second half were well and truelly in command, no decent Celtic fan would deny us but to say our midfield goes AWOL every time we play you? Come on bud get a grip and grow up, I seem to remember that in the majority of last seasons OF games they were far from AWOL.

Edu may not have played against falkirk but he aint no pele, what would he have done to change the game? He never played against motherwell when we win 3-0 and played great what does that say about him? Not buyin into edu hes played 2 decent games in 36.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

He plays the holding role between him and davis and occasionaly gets forward and has the fitness and decent pace to get back when needed to but since mculloch played he doesnt have the fitness or pace to get back and defend in time to snub out their attack

Edu didn't feature last night, Rangers lost there first game domestic game and were poor in midfield - careful what you wish for chaps, I say it's high time we get to fack of the guys back and start supporting him, close on 40 caps for his country .. he is no dud

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Completely agree, he is one of those players that his work often goes unnoticed until he isn't there.

think rangers got a little bit of their own medicine as they are normally the team that playes 5 in defence and play on the counter attack but that was falkirk last night.
