Absolutely chosking for the next home game, been to long with the postponement of the dunfermline match. Need ma fix. Anybody think there was method in mccoists madness? Personally we were more than adequate to compete. Would of gave others a chance of a game as well.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I believe the method to the madness was to have the strongest squad available.

Agree0 Disagree0

Awryt a see. So Wallace, McLeod and peralta make up the team?. What good faith you have in the rest of the squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - But what if we lost, I made this point before McCoist even said it on TV, the excuses would be there, Andy Little also got a call up for Northern Ireland while Dean Shiels was on standby and Barrie McKay was with Scotland Under 19s)

3 players shouldn't make a team as there is quite a big squad there.

Agree0 Disagree0

Did wallace get any minutes?

CIFRCA

The simple fact is rangers were entitled to postpone the match as they had several players on international duty, as for a few players making a difference, often it can take only 1 player to change a game (hence subs) ie the way ozil has transformed arsenal so far.

We should still have enough to to have won this game, this postponement cost us our only source of income for the whole of October, another case of Ally costing us money. Suppose he could have donated his months salary! but then again mibbees naw!

Agree0 Disagree0

To number 4 how could wallace get a game when he was injured

Agree0 Disagree0

To number 7 if he was injured then why called up to ational squad and why call off vs dunfermline?.

CIFRCA

Agree0 Disagree0

#6 explain how mccoist cost us money? Did he forfeit the game ie the game won't be played? Or did he have the game postponed, as per the rules. Why should mccoist donate his salary? Would you donate your giro to help the club?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Careful Gaz)

To number 8 he was injured with scotland

To Gaz, McCoist asked for the game to be postponed, and the reason it will cost us money is very simple, we will not get as big an attendance for a midweek game Ulster bears etc unable to get to a midweek game and I know that there were 150 Hamburg fans who were coming over (some, about 50 or so went to Pollok Jnrs) = lost matchday income. As for donating my Giro, having worked since I left School in 1980, I have heard of them but never actually rec'd one, I think my season ticket and shares constitute a donation don't you?

Agree0 Disagree0

No I don't think purchasing a season ticket and purchasing shares is a donation at all. It entitles you to attend matches and have your say in the club as a shareholder, whereas a donation you wouldn't expect any of the above.

As for costing us money, did mccoist decide for the game to be played midweek? There will be plenty of weekends off for the cup we were eliminated. You are just the type of fan who blames mccoist for everything any anything.

To Gaz, Yes I do have those entitlements, but I still consider the money I have given this season & last as donations I have made more for the good of the club rather than for any personal reasons e.g I can't make every home game (work Commitments) and I don't think my shareholding will have the Easedales running for cover any time soon, so in my eyes it has been no more than an ungrudged (is that a word?) donation. As for the McCoist part I don't blame him for everything, but he has a lot to answer for on the playing front (I don't think even you can deny that), I know he did'nt decide to make the Dunfermline game a midweek, but you have suggested yourself that we are going to get papped out pretty soon by saying we will have free weekends.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gaz you don't have a leg to stand on with this agreement, the guy your arguing with puts enough money into the club. Also latter rounds of the league cup get played week week so there's no Saturday's to play it.

Good to hear the three supporters groups are going to meet Mr Murray and Mr McColl and at the same time seeking clarification from the Easdale Brothers.
It would be helpful Ed if anybody who posts on here and who goes to the meeting/meetings can come on and let the rest of us know what's going on

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - These meetings will be minuted, after these meetings take place I will try and find a link to the minutes and put a link up)

Also dave king flying in on friday for meetings blue teddy

Nbear, Meeting will be amongst power seekers with no power. A total waste of time. The main share holding is held by others and, as such, the power to run Rangers. What is being witnessed, in my opinion, is a con with no real weakness at this stage. The key to this whole debacle was at the preferred bidder stage.

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb its a meeting of minds and ideas. I really don't think that these said groups know that at this point in time they will walk in a take RFC over. They will discuss a " what if scenario ". They will then take these ideas forward and build on them.
I do believe though it is a positive step in the right direction.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think your right billyb but personally I'm still a bit in shock at the speed of our fall and the damage done by DM WHYTE, D&P and currents owners whoever they are just looking for a few crumbs of comfort that might not be there. This to will pass as they say.

Agree0 Disagree0

Complete waste of time imo

CIFRCA

OCRSC. I don't think a meeting of minds will help rid us of the moves that has put us in this position. Instead of 'what if', they should look at 'why' and 'how'.
Why dm sold for a £1 and how green managed to get preferred bidder status for such a small amount.
These facts are the basis of the moves enabling them, in my opinion, to raise cash and re-assess the value of the assets, thus enabling various '' fee etc. '' to be paid.
Simple, but without the why and how, could not have been put in motion.

@4 Our fall only seemed "speedy" to those of us who were in utter denial for years and kept on hero worhshiping SDM. For those who were willing to see what was in front of them a dreadful sense of forebearing kicked in as far back as SDM announcing his vision of "a moonbeam of success" the day he sold the rights to the jerseys (a real life orwellian statement if ever there was one. ) From then on the signs were clear to read and the rumours of hmrc's interests - years ago mind - only confirmed that sense of dread. It was a very long drawn out slow motion crash. Not speedy. Not shocking. Unless you had your eyes closed and fingers in your ears. Like the Ally brigade on here still do.

Agree0 Disagree0

@7 It is perhaps my age - I'm 60 everything is relative. When you are 1 a year is 100% of your life when you are my age a couple of years is no time-sadly

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry Ed I meant to say thanks for possibly posting the minutes of the meetings- much appreciated

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - If/when I get a link I will post them)

@7 eh. what's your point caller. M/McC at this time have no power, so therefrore they can only question what they will do "if " they do get power. They must have a meeting to work on a strategy.
And just for the record sir. I am still raging at SDM for his irresponsible actions and no I am not a fan of Ally McCoist as our manager just incase you have the wrong interpretation of my point.

Just wanted to say unlucky to the bear with the bet that Celtic would not win a point in the CL. Gutted for you!

His name / psuedonym is Matt Crozier. Wonder if the windbag has the temerity to come on here and show his red face. This throws everything else he bleats on about in its proper light - utter sh#te.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - he was posting under yet another name, talking about how wonderful Ally is and making veiled threats. He needs to grow up.}

23 Oct 2013 09:04:04
His name is trooblue (or one of them) one bet in tatters and his other at the weekend was on very shaky ground. Keep it up pal it is all comedy gold to us tims. lol Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

@op am glad it's gubbed sick him bleating on about it

Agree0 Disagree0

The bet was the calling card of the mug punter. Good victory for Celtic last night but was surprised how poor Ajax were. Passing very sloppy and some of the attempts on goal were pathetic

Agree0 Disagree0

I realise my last log in name wasn't correct sorry ed, I take it celtic won last nite? Because were have you been Timothy? How's your bank balance been backing both teams to score in rangers games this season?

Agree0 Disagree0

@2. Was it not Troo Bloo.
Anyway, is that not a thing that goes down the shunkie. Just like the bet, it's gone the same way. Another mug punter to keep a bookie happy.

Agree0 Disagree0

It might be called a mugs double but it gave the guy an interest in the game which is something more than I had and as much as I think his other single bet will lose I wish him all the luck with it
