When is this going to end, buy an established center back and put him at right back tonight FFS

Who else was going to play RB tell me? Faure and Foster injured, fair enough give mccoist abuse when deserved but now it's just silly things like this

Agree0 Disagree0

Lee boy – yes your right, silly point

I mean ally takes a large 1st team squad to the highlands and then to America with only one out and out right back and 5 central defenders (Faure may have played there but he will never be a right back, he will never be a center half either, but that’s beside the point)

It was staring us in the face at the end of last season that we needed to strengthen at RB, it still is

Foster was terrible last season,
Faure, say no more
and Ally does not rate any youngsters that we have,

So what does he do? Signs another goalkeeper, two more center backs and two more forwards

Personally I would lke to see us bring in young RB from dunfermline, I think he has lots of potential and played well against last season,

JG agreed I thought he looked decent and that is what a reasonable man might consider doing but maybe he was too young and too cheap. He wasn't tried and tested to Ally's degree as well so probably it never going to happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jg must agree also was the rb from dunfermline supposed to be coming to ibrox with neil mccann

Agree0 Disagree0

Jg I see ally saing today he wants to talk to mr wallace to see if we can afford a midfielder I think we have got enough midfielders why not talk to mr wallace about getting a right back ally

Agree0 Disagree0

Tmwnn never saw the article but some of his decisions have me baffled, he gave Hutton another year contract, so does the fact he now says we need another midfielder mean he does not rate Hutton! like I asked, when is this going to end?

Looking at the photograph on Rangers' website of McCoist, Durrant and McDowell what hope do we have. They all look old, rough and overweight. What on earth has happened to Ally's appearance? They look like men running a Sunday morning pub team, which of course would fit nicely with the tactics they have been deploying. lol.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Here here mate!!

Agree0 Disagree0

OP agreed. Some might say "I didn't look at my contract I just signed it" looking scruffy and presiding over football that is emptying Ibrox is somewhat at odds with Mr Struth's quotes

"To be a Ranger is to sense the sacred trust of upholding all that such a name means in this shrine of football.
They must be true in their conception of what the Ibrox tradition seeks from them.
No true Ranger has ever failed in the tradition set them"

"Our very success gained you will agree by skill will draw more people than ever to see it"

I will let you make up your own minds on how the current board, management and playing staff measure up to Mr Struth's ideals.

Has the phoenix which rose from the ashes turned into a flightless parrot or as Monty Python put it a Poly gone?
A missed opportunity to cleanse, heal and re-invent?

A pale shadow of a once noble club?

An ignoble imposter?

Ed I can confirm the above post is completely sherbertless.

Doiger a few of us mentioned the shabby look mccoist the other night on here maybe he hasn't heard yet what with him being away on holiday lol

just a thought bout mr mcdowall
coming out other day and saying he was less than impressed with fringe players in the game the other night why not say the same to the first team stars that draw against borra rangers our fringe players won the game they didn't this will only further knock the comfidence of fringe players

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree I wrote much the same yesterday You never hear him on about the first team favourites black law eat when there mince! Poor man management!

Agree0 Disagree0

The assistant manager has a wee bit of constructive criticism for the fringe players, maybe to get their backs up and make sure they perform better next time even though we won the match. what's wrong with what kenny says? If we got beat am sure we would have had the usual posts about ally on here, are the fans the only ones allowed to criticise? Robbie Crawford stated no one done themselves any favours in the game, so maybe the criticism was justified.

lexlau maybe it was justified my point is first team stars never get slated for there poor performances yet fringe players do not not aceptable in my opinion

Agree0 Disagree0

Your missing the point of the posts I'm not having a go at him for speaking out at the fringe players he's the assistant manager and should speak out more often in my opinion, I'm saying you've got to be fair and even handed the main team players have played much worse than them this tour ( he say nothing ) that's all I'm saying then ask yourself Why?

Agree0 Disagree0

Did you read what ally says after the Brora game?

Agree0 Disagree0

Or should I say after the Ventura game.

point of post was first team players play awful in games nothing sayed second string players play and win then get told how poor they are bit of double standards if u ask me

Agree0 Disagree0

Mccoist came out and criticised the team after Ventura game, so what do you mean double standards?

Just read on the forest rumours site that Billy Davies has turned down the Blackpool job. Ed034 thinks he is waiting on the Gers job. i'm an Ally McCoist fan so I hope this isn't the writing on the wall for him. Davies is a vastly more experienced manager but I think Ally has done exactly what's been asked of him. Its not always been pretty but we are progressing through the leagues. What do you guys all think?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Get the cheque book out now Wallace and sign Davies!

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't want to keep harping on about ally. anyone of us could have managed the team through those two divisions. my views have and always will be, ally is not a manager. he is a cheeky chappie, good for organising nights out. end of!
My choice would be someone like Albertz or numan. guys who have the European technical ability and also love being at rangers. a bit out the box but billy Davies, not for me.

hope your right, McCoist is much better suited to Question of Sport, we will have without doubt the oldest team in the uk, shocking

Agree0 Disagree0

He doesn't come across as a yes man, would be surprised if he would want to work under current regime, then again.
