This trialist capper is the worst thing I've ever seen happening at our beloved Glasgow Rangers. I might be living in days gone by, but we used to do our business professionally and quickly. It's clear we have no money to put together a decent squad, so what they do is get fans hopes up with feeding them names, right left and centre. The desire looks to have gone from some of the players and we will struggle to keep up with C****c in this championship race.

I hope I'm wrong about what I've said above and we sign at leaset a couple decent players and we overcome the points gap.

Yeah Billy I remember when we signed players without the press getting wind, now it seems that every free transfer is having a trial. I guess that's the level we are at with the uncertainty surrounding us. on the plus side of this though is that it you might just find a half decent player for next to nothing.

I think Mr Whyte is an attention seeker the reason I say this is, when the league flag unfurrled he did it when he'd done nothing to assist Walter therefore I believe it should have been Walter to do it Also Walter should have made the presentation to David Weir as he signed him. Whats the deal regarding Rangers not being to play in Europe next season? I have noticed on the "other" rumour page some of the Celtic fans are convinced we won't be in Europe due to Whyte not auditting accounts? I haven't heard of this anywhere else other than from Celtic fans. The accounts I know of that weren't auditted were the stock exchange accounts, but that wouldn't have any bearing on Rangers playing in Europe next season, would it?

TTG {Ed014's Note - As far as I know you must declare money owed to tax authorities and any perceived troubles that could arise in the following year by 31st December for a licence to play in Europe the following season.Rangers had accepted liability for the smaller tax case.

Can someone tell me what Ally Mcoist tells and trains the players to do? I can't see any sort of skillful or on the deck play. Seems they're just thrown together off the back of a fag packet and what happens happens

He has nothing to work with, that is the problem. Sir Alex would have a job to get anything out of this bunch of rubbish. A team like Rangers have three strikers at the club, what an absolute disgrace.

McCoists problem is himself. He doesn't know how to get the best out of his players. He is to busy wanting to be everybodies chum. We all had great expectations for Greg Wylde yet his game hasn't got any better, it's upto McCoist to get the best out of him, work the boy in training and get him to vary his game more.

His decision making is predictable also, you know which players he is going to bring and take off before he actually does it.

He also needs to drop Edu..........

Look fellow bears there is questions that need to be answered but I think Sir David Murray should be answering most of them. He said he would only sell to someone or a party that would take the club forward. I am surprised at how quiet he has been. I think its time we the fans owned a part of the club like Barcelona's do. I don't think it's healthy for 1 man to have 85% of the club. My question is did Sir David Murray carry out proper and due diligence on Mr Craig Whyte before he sold. It is time we got some answers but until the tax case results are announced we will continue to hear nothing.

An advisory board was set up of the former directors, Bain, Greig, Johnsson, etc and they advised Murray that they had serious doubts that Craig Whyte had the funds to finance Rangers. Clearly Murray chose to ignore this.

Dead right murray has to answer questions but who is gonna ask them? anybody could see this was coming but the press in scotland were so scared of falling out of favour they never asked any questions.the tax story broke TWO YEARS ago,have you seen any reporter investigate it? when rangers debt reached 20m somebody should have asked murray if he wz gonna pay it.gers fans who are pals of mine were as guilty as anyone of thinking it'l be okay,well now it isnt.the due dilligence is down to the buyer n lets be honest with the financial markets crashing n MIH having money troubles murray woulda sold to bin laden.posted this b4 but my accountant seems to think the tax bill will be around 25-30m n he's a huge gers fan so i listen to him n the whispers he hears.whyte wants admin.i think so a bill that size is workable. but dont expect any help from the press! green jhedi

Rangers were told that they had to sell to Whyte or else Lloyds were freezing their accounts. Lloyds wanted their money, so they forced through the takeover.

I'm with you j1985. That has always been my philosophy. The truth is we couldn't do anything about Whyte if we wanted he has control of the club. That will not change for now.

I will wait and see after the case, I still feel we will survive this. Not convinced even if we lose it will be anywhere near 49m.
