Ryan Hardie just scored an absolute screamer for Livingstone to beat Dundee United.

23 Feb 2018 22:09:18
Ryan Hardie will never be Rangers to striker. At the top level you need at least one outstanding ability/ physical attribute.
1. tall (Hately)
2. fast (Lovenkrands)
3. strong (Fredo)
4. skillful (Cooper)
5. intelligent (Mcoist)
Hardie has no exceptional quality to earn him a place as a Rangers goal scorer at the top level. Some players have the lot, Laudrup for Rangers. My all time favorite player the real Ronaldo had everything. Hardie is an average Scottish player, full stop.

23 Feb 2018 22:14:02
Performing very well, no brainier for me to get him on a new contract! Someone else’s gain if we don’t!

23 Feb 2018 23:25:46
Hardie is an excellent young prospect. Bizarre how you can just totally write him off at this stage TJBB

23 Feb 2018 23:40:44
Hately was awful when he 1st played for us. Mcoist was pants too. Fredo? Jeeso. Hardie is doing good and has every chance. Think Jamie Vardy. he is on loan for a reason. We have wrote off piles of players who turned out to be very good.

24 Feb 2018 08:12:06
I’d say extend his contact, he’s showing he knows where goal is, boy just needs game time. Cum dog not really been tested in top flight. Ryan is a product of our own.

Top flight loan next season for 6 months, if he can break into a squad and score goals he’s showing he has what it takes.

24 Feb 2018 08:18:22
Get the guy signed up. I don't care that 3 managers have put him out on loan. Loads of players when young go out on loan season after season. It's called getting game time as there current club have limited options. Let's get hearts beat today and move 6 points behind celtic.

24 Feb 2018 09:46:02
As most of you will know from my posts, I'm a huge Hardie fan. He should be given a contract and a chance to shine. Morelos may well be off in the summer and Miller is now too old. It is ridiculous to write him off like that!

24 Feb 2018 10:38:21
Herriera also most likely off in the summer.

24 Feb 2018 11:33:41
Can't see why we would not give Hardie two year deal

24 Feb 2018 12:07:27
He might not want to sign a new contract with us. He's been around the fringes of the first team for a couple of years but never been given much of a chance, so he might believe the best thing for his career is to find a new club that will give him regular playing time.
Regardless of where he ends up I hope the boy has long and successful career ahead of him.

24 Feb 2018 15:03:01
its a no brainer to give hardie a new conract and give him a season in first team and judge him from there rather than regret letting him go

23 Feb 2018 20:25:23
Going to falkirk vs dumbarton tom as i finish at half two right next to the stadium will be quite good to see a couple of our loanees there including burt who i think is a smashing player, hopefully we get a solid result tom and before anybody asks my ticket is away, a guy in work checks my shifts then asks me cheeky twit lol hopefully we can build on a good run.

23 Feb 2018 19:31:00
Hi fellow bears if for some reason Graham is not given the managers job who is it going to be? I have said it before but I honestly think Graham potter is right for rangers he's still young has worked wonders in Sweden gave arsenal a game with very little budget I honestly think rangers being a huge club would be right for such a young ambitious manager but only if murty doesn't get it. Also many of the names mentioned when we were looking have got jobs and are seriously struggling I think we dodged a few bullets there so maybe the board were correct not to give the job away to anyone? Food for thought guys I want nutty to do well so I'm not saying he should be replaced but if it happens then Graham potter needs a bigger club he has the knowledge just look at his record.

23 Feb 2018 19:47:52
I’m 100% behind Graeme Murty although I was open to Graham Potter when it was up for grabs. Since then I’ve found out some more info on Potter and I don’t think he would suit us. Basically after he retired from professional football he studied and gained a masters degree in something along the lines of psychology and personal motivation. He also gained all the relevant coaching badges and certificates and became a University team coach and has since went on to Ostersunds who were a club who were newly created and an amalgamation of various clubs from a certain area of Sweden, he has been very successful, on an unprecedented level for someone of his experience and background and I think he will go very far in the game. The reason he isn’t right for us is that he would be eaten alive by the press and fans who have no patience for new age methods, he believes in things like debates for the players and keeping the mind active and I feel these things would be laughed at if results were not good. We need finance for a van Bronckhorst revolution and if that isn’t possible then Mr Murty will deliver i'm sure!

23 Feb 2018 20:21:24
I'm 200% firmly behind graeme murty, to become the glasgow rangers manager, on a permanent basis, at the end of the season! I've continually said on here, graeme murty will be our permanent manager and should be our permanent manager, on a 12 month rolling contract, at the end of the season! Really like and totally impressed with graeme murty! IMHO, he's the only choice to become our permanent manager now!

23 Feb 2018 21:16:22
300% behind murts, I was listening to him on RTV recent interview he talks so much sense. He knows the club very well. His relationship with the players is couldn't be better and they are willing to work their socks off for him. I feel he's starting to play the obvious formations/ tactics that previous 2 managers wouldn't do and its working. His transfer window (partly mark allen) was much better than previous. If we go the season without a trophy then i still think he deserves another crack at least.

23 Feb 2018 21:03:38
Murty is doing fine, why is there a suggestion for a new manager? Unbelievable.

23 Feb 2018 21:15:38
Good post wee bear but maybe it's time for a new age approach? Things are happening in and to our famous club right now and yes the press and the path (tic) don't like it but I believe the board are getting it right slowly but definitely surely soon the press will turn Mark my words!

23 Feb 2018 21:27:12
Not sure what murty has done to warrant such devotion. let's wait till the end of the season before deciding? Finish 2nd, then fine give him a chance. Anything less then he should get the heav-ho. Our performances have improved under murty but let's not forget some of dodgy results, especially at home

23 Feb 2018 22:01:24
Just to clarify, I’m 1000% behind Murty, think he is a great man and an improving coach, I’d be very happy if he was given a rolling deal!

24 Feb 2018 10:08:59
Give the gig to murty he will take us in right direction given a chance. let's all do the murty!

24 Feb 2018 10:20:49
Murty conducts himself very well. He's professional and focused on the task. He seems to be well respected by other managers and the players. It makes no sense looking elsewhere for someone to come in and disrupt what we are doing. It's down to the players to get the results on the park and Murty to set team up. It's working well in my opinion. Let's get behind this team and Manager. Mon the Gers.

23 Feb 2018 15:18:54
I couldn’t care less what these ex players spout in the gutter press. They’ve a column to write (well a ghost does that)

Was does irk me, is the 9 points they’re in front of us by, has been by our own doing, not the fact they are any great shake.

I know Murty is finding his feet and he has to be praised for what he has done and how he has carried himself since getting the post.

I want to see him be more aggressive and replace words like I’ve asked them to kick on from now or we have too push on from this and stop being so passive.

Start demanding from them, let them know what it means to wear the badge, install intensity, high work ethic, get some snarl back, stop being bullied, work together, fight together, rejoice together and win together.

It’s time they and every other team in the league saw that Rangers will not be intimidated or looked upon that hearts, Hibs or the sheep are in some way our equals, just because we fell on our sword.

Chest out, stand tall, neck into the back of the collar, be proud, ruthless and be combative from now on.

23 Feb 2018 20:31:49
Hamilton hibs x2 st. johnstone all at Ibrox 12 points dropped is gutting.

23 Feb 2018 20:32:56
I nearly stood up and saluted reading that bluebell. Maybe Graeme should get you in the dressing room at 2.45 tomorrow afternoon to give them the old Mel Gibson treatment! Lol

23 Feb 2018 20:35:00
Absolutely agree. it’s now about momentum. winning first and foremost . then by playing well. If they beat Aberdeen then us, 100% over. However If we can win tomorrow and win well, they drop a couple of points on Sunday and we give them a good hiding on the 11th, I think we can do this. Their defence bar KT is absolute gash. Take Brooniesta out their midfield and they are rudderless. Apart from Klunk Forrest and Griffiths they are poor up front. Interesting few weeks in store 🇬🇧🇬🇧

23 Feb 2018 21:02:33
@the seeker I’d happily do it for nothing every week i

23 Feb 2018 23:22:33
Good point colster about there players but the 1 player a think there missing and could give us an edge is craig gordon how many points has he saved them this season i think we will put a couple by de vries well i hope

24 Feb 2018 10:13:59
Jcarr. yeah I was meaning their defence as it stands now. Gordon has been brilliant for them this season. that's why it’s important for us to try and claw back as many points now before they star5 getting their players back from injury. I still think it’s a really big ask for us this season but I just want to see them under a bit of pressure🤙

23 Feb 2018 13:47:56
Shocking our fans getting stick for believing we can challenge. Celtic look all over the place and if we keep applying pressure it will only get worse. I don’t see them dropping points at Aberdeen but I honestly believe they will drop nine points before the seasons out. Our teams is coming together and getting stronger game by game, we are even starting to here from inside our players believe they can do it aswell.

23 Feb 2018 15:43:41
It is by no means impossible but of course it will be very difficult to win the league. We can't afford to slip up, we need to be ruthless. We are more than capable of beating celtic home and away, the last performance at parkhead proved that. We have a better team now and we have players who can take the game to them. We obv need celtic to slip up but first and foremost we need to take care of our own games, starting with hearts. So c'mon rangers let's take it to them. I think is a bit arrogant to completely write us off just now.

23 Feb 2018 18:19:49
as the famous philosopher big marvin once said keep believing

23 Feb 2018 22:10:50
If we play as good as we all know we can, stay consistent and let guys like Murphy, Cumdog and Docherty settle into the team with the rest of the guys who are growing in confidence and finding a higher level of consistency as the season goes on, we are in with a shout. Don't get me wrong, it's Celtics to lose. But who cares how we win it, as long as we do! Helicopter Sunday was theirs to lose and it was the best one we won! Let's put pressure on them and see if they are as good as they are telling everyone they are.

23 Feb 2018 11:38:13
I say give these journalists a break, they are writing from reasoned perspective given the points we are still behind. And let's be honest, we all want Brenda's babes to crash and burn but it's going to take some doing plus as paid journalists now they are expected to give a reasoned argument and Rangers winning league is speaking from heart, not head. We all know wee Barry and other writers hearts will always run blue, he's just mixing the pot to sell newspapers.

23 Feb 2018 13:04:23
More importantly. . i'm going to Florida in the summer. Does anybody know what how many Dembele dollars u currently get to the pound?

23 Feb 2018 14:16:44
@dutch - at current exchange rate you'd be better off staying at home! 😂🤣😂

23 Feb 2018 09:15:01
Yet again some ex-Rangers players are dismissing their former team in the press. Barry Ferguson in the Daily Rubbish and Steven Thompson in the Herald, dismissing the idea that a title race is back on. What is it with these ex-players? Bad enough reading Sutton's bile and nonsense but you'd think that former players would at least show some sort of loyalty to the team that once paid their wages. Thompson sums up his talent with his own words 'I was relegated with St. Mirren' - exactly! I've said all along that Brenda's bubble would burst as it did before at Swansea and Liverpool, where he became the first Liverpool manager since the 1950s not to win any trophies after three years in charge.

23 Feb 2018 10:09:00
So you want them to say that there is a title race just to keep you happy? Maybe they don't think there is a title race! Why is it people on here question loyalties when they see others don't live in the same bubble as some on here. It's pathetic. Try learning to respect others opinions. Maybe they don't think there is a title race because the split is upon us and we haven't secured 2nd yet never mind the idea of winning a title and not to mention the 9 point deficit.

23 Feb 2018 11:32:00
Calvin, you talk about respect, yet you disrespect your own club by continually dismissing bids for Morelos as lies even though the club has said that it has received substantial bids but they do not meet the clubs valuation. You disrespect your own fan's by questioning if they are a true gers fan. I could go on.

I'm not sure if its your wind ups that are poor or you have stopped taking your happy pills. Either way you are the most miserable poster on here. I actually feel sorry for you as I feel your pain in every word you write. Its all about opinions but your constant drivel is unjustified. Remember the samaritans is a free phone number 👍

23 Feb 2018 11:45:23
We still need considerable improvement to be in with a chance of competing for title.

23 Feb 2018 12:18:08
The title race has a glimmer of hope but that’s all it’s is Celtic are still ahead of us but the gap is closing and with a bit of investment and a good summer transfer window I’d expect a better run next year let’s get second secured and see what happens

23 Feb 2018 12:51:56
Fergie did not dismiss it, he said it is possible but Rangers must get their act together, which is absolutely true. Don't see what the problem is here, they are speaking the truth.

Everything is rosie in the garden just now because we've won two games on the bounce in the league, need to just remind everybody that 3 weeks ago we were beaten by Hibs for the second time at Ibrox.

Ps. I actually had a go on at Kris Boyd on here during the transfer window for his rubbish he spouted about our bid for Jordan Jones, i'm no for blindly agreeing with ex-players, but Ferguson is right on this one.

23 Feb 2018 12:58:00
Calvin. I think it is you who needs to be happy. You are totally miserable and negative. Ferguson, Thompson and others are of course entitled to their opinions but I'd have hoped that as ex-Blues they might at least cut Rangers some slack. I watch Thompson and his fellow doom merchant Stewart on Sportscene and I don't think they ever have a good word to say about Rangers, even after the 6-1 win over Ayr United! We will probably finish 2nd at best but if the Sheep do win on Sunday and we beat Hearts the gap is down to 6 points. A win over the manky mob at Ibrox and the gap would be 3 points. So how can Ferguson and Thompson so readily dismiss our chances? If we slip up again, then fair enough any chance of winning the title will have gone but let's at least wait until that happens!

23 Feb 2018 14:01:50
@coldo you are disrespecting yourself with your ignorance. I said I don't believe the figures reported in the media! I do believe when the club say they have received bids however I don't believe the figures quoted in the media! The club have not confirmed the figures quoted in the media which only enhances my believe that the figures quoted in the media are inaccurate.

23 Feb 2018 14:17:18
Consistency has been our downfall all season. I would love for us to put a run together up to the split and then see where we stand. Especially with celtic in turmoil and Brenda having a wee meltdown at home and abroad.
P. S. they better horse Hearts this weekend as I’ve wound up every celtic fan I know about 55!

23 Feb 2018 20:34:16
Calvin hasn’t been happy since we never went into administration when he expected.
