I would like to see this team starting against st. mirren on saturday-
foderingham
tavernier, kiernan, wilson, wallace,
holt, halliday, mckay,
o'halloran, miller, king,
what do we think fellow bears?

24 Feb 2016 07:45:48
I would play ohalloran through the middle and play forrester wide.

24 Feb 2016 08:38:13
I would play O Halloran Miller and McKay as the front three and Law in midfield.
Against QOS the final ball from the wide areas was not great as McKay was deployed in the No 10 role.
We also have Zelalem who could play in midfield who is an excellent passer of the ball but my preference would be LAW.

24 Feb 2016 08:52:53
Copland
I have seen all Zelalems home games and I think he is one of the worst passers of a ball I have seem.
He often makes the wrong pass and also gives the ball away as often as he hits his own man.

24 Feb 2016 10:01:19
I'd rather see Mackay back in the front 3 with Miller and O'Halloran and Zelalem in midfield with Holt and Halliday.

24 Feb 2016 10:15:59
Thought kiernan was suspended after his booking on Sunday.

24 Feb 2016 10:16:16
I think Kiernan is suspended is he not from the yellow card at the end of the QOTS game so ball would come in. I would still start with Clark as Miller is more effective when the other team is a little tired!

24 Feb 2016 10:19:11
I have to agree with copland1 here, would rather McKay out wide with law in the midfield 3.

24 Feb 2016 10:21:31
dunno if I heard wrong during the QOS game at the weekend, but is Kiernan suspended this game for picking up another yellow towards the end of the match?

Think Wilson is one yellow away too.

24 Feb 2016 10:32:33
I agree Copland1.
Law for a bit more presence in midfield leaving King out.
Zelalem would be ok as he can pick a pass. I see what Deeb is saying but I think he tries more probing passes to break through which is hard when so many men behind ball. However I think with the pace of O'Halloran it may be a trick.

24 Feb 2016 11:03:40
Kiernan is suspended for the match v Morton.

24 Feb 2016 12:02:54
Foderingham, Tav, Wilson, Ball, Wallace, Halliday, Holt, Law, O'Halloran, Miller and McKay.

24 Feb 2016 12:04:18
DEEB. Is that not a bit strong? The guy is class in progress.

24 Feb 2016 14:27:55
Well " fellow bears" I would play messi uo front Wi neymar and Suarez playing just on top, with kompany at back with alves and maybe, use agueroo sparingly, has to be foster on goal, ? Well u did ask? ,

23 Feb 2016 23:30:30
I would like to see barrie mckay getting a run of playing in the hole behind our 3 forwards ie. the no.10 role if you like, imo young mckay could rip teams apart playing there! It would allow mckay a free role and his goal ratio would improve in this area, he has everything in his locker to be a major success playing there, our lionel messi if you like!

24 Feb 2016 07:48:30
Well he played that role on Sunday but didn't have a lot of space to work with. Still done well imo. O'Hallorran showed glimpses of what he is capable of, think he will grow into a good player for us, willing to run with the ball and was unlucky a few times.

24 Feb 2016 14:30:06
God almighty, messi and nckay in the same sentence? U really are writing a romantic novel, has your " prominent source" told you we may be signing Leo then? He does have tax problems so maybe that's the link?

25 Feb 2016 13:50:40
Your Ginny have to realise someday mate that these players are playing in the second tier of one of the poorest leagues in all of Europe, , mess indeed.

23 Feb 2016 23:15:03
so its Dundee then. bigger test than killie I feel.

23 Feb 2016 23:56:18
It will be very tight imo, a couple ex players will be up for knocking us out.

24 Feb 2016 00:07:46
ya think.

24 Feb 2016 09:57:31
much bigger test than killie, we will need to play to our maximum to beat them that is for sure.

And we will soon see what a mistake we made with KH when he returns, hope we can keep him quiet.

24 Feb 2016 11:13:36
KH - have we let another player leave in haste?

24 Feb 2016 12:05:47
This will be a tough game, no doubt as Dundee play good football. The good thing is they do like to play so it makes for an end to end game instead of park the bus stuff. Don't know if my old ticker can take it!

23 Feb 2016 22:27:08
Can't believe the the comments that the magic hat made are causing such a stir about the plastic pitches and the u20s league it's only his opinion. the man's worked all over English football at every level he ain't no silly man?

23 Feb 2016 23:21:19
hate plastic . does your ligaments in. did mine anyway.

24 Feb 2016 10:08:41
In what way has he worked all. over English football being his own man he only was a club manager for 70 odd games at Brentford and a youth team coach before that hardly prestigious surroundings but all of a sudden hw has all the answers to Scottish football problems. He should just concentrate on trying to win the league as if rangers don't get up this year there will be much bigger issues at the club next year than worrying about under 20 leagues and artificial surfaces.

24 Feb 2016 16:32:25
agree MW should keep some opinions to him self and concentrate on winning games. He has sent players on loan to some of these clubs what does it say about these players.

23 Feb 2016 21:48:09
Great result for us to-night. Dundee at Ibrox is a great platform for MW to show everybody exactly where we are.
I might be Mr. Doom and gloom to some, but this is the sort of game we need.
In fact, I really fancy us to win covincingly and I'll go for Wilson to score first and 3-0.

24 Feb 2016 15:35:17
I'm usually a glass half full kind of guy but I think this will be a tough test. I've seen a little of Dundee this season and have been impressed. And we won't have O'Halloran or King as well as Waggy so will be down to the bare bones. I'm hoping the big crowd can get us over the line. Any win would be great. Tbh the cup is a bonus as the title is obviously the main aim. Would be great to get to the semi though. Anything could happen after that.

23 Feb 2016 21:43:54
Think this dundee cuptie could be a tricky number, playing well at the minute tonight coasted against the mighty Dumbarton as we did, this could show how far we've came against a hungry side though if we win can't wait for harkins and odea faces and 50000 fans telling them what we think.

24 Feb 2016 16:34:36
Dundee will be a much tougher game than killie
players with a mixture of championship and premier league
football plus they will have the incentive of possibly
playing a cup final.

23 Feb 2016 20:48:56
Good luck to Jordan Thomson who has joined airdrie on loan.

23 Feb 2016 19:12:54
Anybody any thought on Ian Durrants statement today that something is Hurting the Acadamy seems a strange thing to say!

23 Feb 2016 19:41:45
He's lost it a rekon.

23 Feb 2016 21:34:17
I'm convinced this is a sideways swipe at Warbs sending so many out on loan, and to be quite honest I agree with his opinion. Some of the loans will do nothing to the confidence of the players, some of whom are just sitting on subs benches in the most depressing stadiums in the country.

24 Feb 2016 07:47:42
The only one not really playing is crawford, who isn't a youth player. It will do them great and the young boys stepping up to under 20s will now be playing at a higher level aswell.

24 Feb 2016 02:44:44
Yes I noticed how badly McKay has been affected by his loans.

23 Feb 2016 17:55:28
Anyone else think the Magic Man is starting to show signs the pressure is getting to him? In particular the recent rants about plastic pitches and now he's saying the under 20s league is a waste of time. he's obviously dealt with pressure before in his previous career but managing one of the Old Firm is a unique kind of pressure with the constant media attention and the demands from the fans. i'm sure he"ll be fine and hopefully will be with us for years but I think he needs to calm down a bit and concentrate on getting us promoted. Also I think he needs to cut back on the amount of players going out on loan, if we get 5, 6 or 7 players injured at the same time, which could happen, we simply don't have enough cover, especially in defence, imagine if Tav, Wallace, Wilson and Ball all got injured at the same time, who on Earth would play at the back?

23 Feb 2016 18:12:33
No. And the reasons of young players out on loan is logical.

23 Feb 2016 18:14:59
Mw said he wanted to be more like celtics youths playing in next gen and europa youth tournaments and that the under 20s league was a waste of time. yet celtic still play in the league and apart from last year have romped it . and still play in the prestigious tourneys that MW talks about. i feel his comments are due to our under 20's being so far off the lead he is just making excuses. would he have made these comments if we were top and 25 points in front of celtic with a game in hand . i think not . confused a tad I am afraid.

23 Feb 2016 18:30:15
If we get lots of injuries then he can just recall the players out on loan.

23 Feb 2016 19:35:10
The gaffer is bang on you learn nothing playing under 20s, all the time, if players are to progress they must be tested against against a mixture experienced players or you simply don't progress. Farming our youth out to gain experience of playing for other teams can only help McKay being a recent example McGregor years ago went to Dunfermline .

23 Feb 2016 20:07:36
There is only one thing that will make Rangers better, that's money, like every other big clubb, cash is king, more cas equals better players, top 4in England, barring Leicester wonderful achievement, top in Germany, Spain, italy all have one thing in common, they're super rich, and nothing is ever going to change that now, why do you think even a clown like Delia is winning titles?
Tommy.

23 Feb 2016 20:40:29
Op i think that now mw has had a good look under the bonnet (so to speak) he has seen the best way to take our club forward, and though you think its panic by mw i wonder if any previous manager had went down the route mw is going down how much better our club would be, i believe in every thing mw is trying to do at our place, he is trying to take us forward and how anybody can put that down to losing bottle is beyond me honestly.

23 Feb 2016 12:17:25
I'm delighted with the change in our team and the style of football this year. I'm a glass half full, optimistic, guy just hope its half full of Guinness. I'm concerned by our dip in form, imo since we beat Morton away, We have been poor since then and I include both Kilmarnock games. I see Warburton is now bemoaning our lack of consistency. I hope we get back to playing well on Saturday.

23 Feb 2016 17:35:05
I'm hoping that last performance was the kick up the backside the team needs for the run in. Although we won we rode our luck and I'm expecting a reaction from the players this week. To be fair to them they have always came good this season after a few poor games. At least the dip in form was against the easier teams in the league and we still got the points. Hopefully get it right for the more difficult ones like Hibs and Falkirk. A still see Hibs dropping more points though, they have been more inconsistent than us or they would be above us.

23 Feb 2016 20:24:38
Incan honestly see us dropping points before I can see that other green brigade dropping points, and I think Stubbs does too, that's why he, s so confident, I pray that I'm wrong but this passing teams to death is becoming scary without a real goal thru, ok against wheelie bins, sometimes, ut they wudnt cope with the other green brigade, anyone who thinks they would are living in cuckoo land
Tommy.

24 Feb 2016 10:32:38
Total and utter drivel. Cuckoo land indeed!

24 Feb 2016 14:46:35
Drivel? So u think we would beat Celtic? U are talking drovel mate, or u know absolutely nothing, they are on a different level, no matter what you think that's fact, we struggle to beat Morton, and we were poor against a killie team who are about 50 points behind them, you need to post sensible comments, not just pish, I've been going to obrox gor 40 yrs, I know a good team when I see one, you must be about 14.
