I didn't see the match tonight, but my Son told me he felt it was a good all round performance, and make no mistake, the other lot would have bee banking on us dropping points tonight. We also increased the goal difference tonight, and the more we keep winning, the pressure will quickly turn on the, it's what we do that counts, also, Doidge got sent off tonight, so he will miss Saturdays game.

Absolutely remarkable, played 19 league games, scored 53 goals and conceded only 5. We will keep this ip and we will win 55. Do we have to strengthen in Jan? I'm not so sure, its not broken so doesn't need fixed. We look as if we have a squad who can trust each other, even when we go a goal down. I wouldn't want anything or anyone to upset what we've got going here. This team brings a lot of happiness to all us bears, which is what we need at this time .

Fredo needs a goal badly he snatched at the chance tonight but for me he starts on Boxing Day against hibs maybe unpopular but I’ll back him to the hilt.
St Johnstone offered very little we could have played the under 21s and one that game.

I've always been a massive fan of alfredo morelos KJA9 like yourself and many others, but i honestly do now feel that kemar roofe is emerging as our no.1 striker🤔I'll tell you why! Roofe for me is a better finisher than morelos with an array of different types of goals ie. from 6 yard finishes, to placed finishes, to power finishes! that's with both his left foot, right foot and head. Roofe also edges it as he's tremendous on the half turn 👌 The only thing i think morelos has up on roofe is strength/ power, although roofe does use his body well also.
Roofe is more calm with his finishing where morelos a lot of the time goes for the smash/ power instead of finesse at times, which roofe has in abundance. Just my honest opinion here, although i do still rate/ like alfredo!

Never seen game tonight as was working only home now
Going to try get some highlights
We have to play the in form striker who’s hitting the net
It’s how leagues are won not picking your friends or your besties Morelos whether you like him or not is not hiring the net
So Roofe would and should be starting every game Morelos coming off the bench until he proved he’s hitting the net regularly again
Itten also scored goals on his very few appearances chances are there for the forwards as it’s shows so Morelos need to up his game quickly.

play the in form striker and morelos isn't on form. that said i am not sure roofe could play every game without injury. i would rather see morelos get his confidence back so we can raise his profile and maximise our profit. not playing him ain't going to do that. however winning the league and having a chance at europe is our priority and no favouritism should be shown.

SGL, Roofe and Defoe have a calming temperament which obviously shows on the pitch. Morelos is showing a lot of anger and frustration. He needs to sort that out then maybe he'll become more composed again in front of goal and start banging them in.

Morelos passing and link up play was immense when he came on. His miss was woeful and seriously lacking in confidence in front of goal but he starts in old firm before Defoe for me. Defoes finishing 2nd to none but got bullied all over the place in the last derby he started for us.

Defoe can’t start and was rank rotten against mwell didn’t do enough running to start every week I would only have him off the bench.
Itten has been hit and miss
Roofe is outstanding most games but in y opinion better as right forward or whatever you like to call it.
Fredo mostly miss this season but his link up play and taking CH all over the place has helped others get in behind to score.
Just my 2 bobs worth guys.

IMO in his first 2 years he was never outside the 18 yard box, a bit like Jimmy Greaves, and this season he is linking up play like never before. I admit at this moment he would not score in a bro@@! l, his confidence is shot, last night is an example. I agree his frustration could/ will get him in trouble, but I would start him alongside Roofe. He is not scoring but is more a team player now.

Alfie has led the line well, scored a shed load of goals and is a menace to defences whilst creating openings and opportunities for others.

Daviedouglas, I spotted that a while ago. McGregor does everything right apart from his kick outs, its continuous. I find that very strange as he's a bit of a perfectionist. I've also noticed he's not as calm, he seems to have a wee bit of a temper. He's still a fantastic keeper but I think McLaughlin is more relaxed and composed at the minute.

Totally agree with you lads regarding greegs, great goalkeeper but i prefer mclaughlin also as i think his alround game is better in particular his distribution with the ball at his feet, just my opinion. We play out from the back so the goalkeeper being comfy on the ball adds to the team keeping possession of the ball better.

I live in Speyside and have visited Cardhu many times for work. Its a great little distillery that produce's fine single malt. For what its worth one of the best up here. Avoid Macallans new whisky or Glenfiddich standard bottle. Linkwood would be my recommendation however there are hundreds of distillery's up here and for anybody that's visited Gordon and McPhail in Elgin will testify to that, could spend hours in there.

Drive past Glen Moray distillery most days, not bad for a wee dram but as our local shop Gordon and McPhail has over 1000 single malts I always try something different but normally a Speyside. i'm lucky enough to have tried many different types and it a very personal choice whether you rate one more than another at the end of the day. The best I had was a Linkwood 1978 but a reasonably priced Cardhu Gold reserve hits the spot, selling for 25 in Asda but easily as good as a 50 pound bottle IMO. I hope you have a great Christmas and get the chance to have more of the local produce my friend.

I like a monkey shoulder aswell. Maybe had it 2 or 3 times but enjoyed it. I put a few drops a water in mine, no ice. Everyone different. I was drinking it with a Japanese guy one night and he asked why I put water in it as he drinks it straight, he said that’s how Japanese drink whiskey. I explained how the water opens up the flavours n aromas that wee bit so he tried it had a few different malts with me n I went to toilet came back n he’d left but left one behind the bar for me and said thanks. Whiskey brings people together 👌 my personal favourite is glenlivet 12 yo. Not been able to get it for a few year apparently they were running low so only export it now. I’m not keen on the 18 or the founders reserve (may be a 21) can’t remember.

I wrote a little time ago asking why Broxxibear had a double x but said in jest. I wrote a book Hannah Swann and the main character is Tom Miller. Not thee Tom Miller on commentary. Pure coincidence. There's a Rangers fan theme to it not large but poignant. Women are the majority of readers and book clubs and I believe your wives and girlfriends will get it and enjoy it. I like this debate. Tonight I'll be opening a bottle of Highland Park 12 which I received from a neighbour recently. A wee cube of ice and Rangers winning 4-0 will be just fine. By the way, my all-time favourite single malt is Laphroaig 10. I'm hoping my son or daughter will have sent one for Xmas! Happy days boys.

SGL I’ll have a few Drams and a few belhaven 80 shillings also my friend, and all going well tonight I will be opening a bottle of the Duthac from the Glenmorangie legends collection which the ladS from work gave me as a gift yesterday when finishing up for my 2 week break.
Got to be honest SGL I think I had the Glen Moray one night many years ago when I was up in the clachaig inn Glencoe but can’t remember much about it. (The night and the drink) Hearing your review I might give it a try again.
Tried the bunnahabhain F0rfarBear goes down well.
Hopefully all goes well tonight lads and the heads stand up to the half’s in the morning.

Forfar bear bunnahabhain is the only Isla malts I like, I prefer glens only mate but an old bar owner I used to talk to on my haircut day was a whiskey man and surprised I liked and knew so much about whiskey for my age, about 28 at the time, so he told me try that as it was similar to a glen and he was right. I find the Isla’s too peaty and Smokey not what I’m into. Prefer the smoothness of a glen. It’s to do with the water that’s used in glen compared to the islas.

Not for me Laudbear. I think Goldson and Helander are first choice and Balogun is a decent replacement to rotate with Helander even although his form has dipped slightly. It will be interesting to see if Edmundson comes back into the squad but I can't see us signing anyone in that position unless Edmundson is sold. Lewis Mayo is also a cracking young player but not sure if he's out on loan or not.

Can't wait for big Katic to get fit and go full beast mode. I'll be gutted for the lad should we lift the league title and he doesn't get a medal.
We've not had it the easiest with injuries this season though we've coped quite well.
Can't underestimate how important Ryan Jack is to the side, we just don't concede when he's playing so heres hoping he's back in ASAP also.

Davie that was b4 balogun was here and helander was getting to grips with game here. Katic very rash a lot of times and his postional sense is terrible. Comfortable 4th choice. Like i said glad he's back tho must have been a terrible year for him.

I see brian laudrup in his daily mail column said he now thinks kemar roofe has overtaken alfredo morelos as rangers no.1 striker 🤔I also read stevie clifford's blog from fourladshadadream regarding kemar roofe and he was quite rightly waxing lyrical about roofe and praising highly roofe's ability to score all types of goals 👌Mark hateley said the exact same 🤔I personally enjoy all our strikers attributes, but what do we think fellow bears, is roofe now our no.1 striker 🤔

I’d say so coops, I posted something similar in a chat with you last week. Unfortunately it actually puts more weight behind my valuation of Morelos only being c. £5m, I’m sure we got Roofe for c. £6m and I believe he’s a better player.
I’m glad we now have choices up top and are no longer reliant on one player.

Sgl I still regard Defoe as our most natural and best finisher . Roofe has in my opinion not really been playing as a striker in most games but I’d agree he scored all typified goals and at the moment he is our most potent attacker. I wouldn’t change his position right now the way he’s playing but I would like to see him as main striker through the middle. I also think big itten has a lot to offer and will given time prove his doubters wrong. Only thing I’d say is I’ve seen him flat footed in the box a couple of times. Alfredo has had some unplayable games for us but again in my opinion he’s looking a wee yard off it right now.

Also imagine we had all front 3 firing and playin well not just roofe. We know Morelos has the potential just look at last 2 seasons goals they weren't a fluke. and we just need ryan kent to be far more consistant. Our defence and middle of the park have been incredible this season.

Not sure i'd say he's our no1 striker yet but he would be in my strongest 11 along with morelos. Was wondering tho a lot of people believe kent hasn't been upto speed like his start to the season. i'd mabey consider playing aribo on the left of the front 3 as he can be unplayable and take players on for fun and also has great awareness and vision. He was in first 11 all the time before his unfortunate injury so when team settled when he recovered he's never cemented a starting slot due to others form while injured. i'd like to see a front 3 of aribo morelos and roofe together as afew peoole have said aribo is better in forward areas rather than midfield. I can't see gerrard not playing kent after shelling out 7mil for him but it could be a chance to give kent a rest and bring him on from the bench to prevent burnout and let him loose on tired defenders for last 25-30 mins. Get him back upto speed and playing like the player who got player of the month at start of the season. Any thoughts guys.

I wouldn’t call roofe an out and out striker like Morelos is or rather was, however roofe is our best goal threat (well 2nd best after tav) atm, I’d keep him on the right false 10 position with Kent on the left as coop says his work rate and ability to drag defenders out of position and high press is a big part of our game, I do think he needs a rest though but he’s definitely in our strongest 11. We need to decide which is best whether be itten or Alfredo with those 2 either side. Obv Defoe can’t play every game even though ability wise he’s the best striker we have. The roofe is on fire but not through the middle for me.

I see Roofe as more a support striker/ winger to the main striker. He offers choices and can both create and score. Great lad to have in the team, but don't see him as a lone striker.

See young glen Middleton got another two goals tonight, does anyone think he deserves a place on the Bench over Jones or Barker? I've not seen enough from either of those two and yeah he did seem to just be a pace merchant that got worked out, but by some of his performances he seems to be evolving into a more complete player.

Technically I don't see him as any worse than Barker and the less said about Jones the better.
Only thing I think might be Barker's saving grace is he plays and understands his role in Gerrard's game plan. Think that might be part of why he gets appearances, hard to say if Middleton has the experience to do the same.

Up to now from what I've seen in his 1st team appearances Middleton is not good enough for Rangers. Umpteen chances to prove himself so obviously isn't quite at our level. He will be at Hearts or somebody next year.
