Correct me if i'm wrong here. But can anyone remember another early kick off game on a saturday that's no been shown on either bt or sky sports. I know there's a split when it comes to games shown etc but i'm no sure I've seen rangers and them kick off the same time on a Saturday and us no being on the tele.

23 Dec 2016 22:19:34
Stream it mate.

23 Dec 2016 22:25:27
You got a stream?

23 Dec 2016 22:41:56
Vipleague. mobi

It usually streams the Rangers TV coverage.

23 Dec 2016 22:47:26
Sometimes it's a great stream, other times its pish but it's usually on.

24 Dec 2016 08:44:04
The game was originally going to be played at 3pm but both clubs asked to play early so fans can get home early for Christmas.

24 Dec 2016 10:09:58
If you have kodi frontrowsports. eu are normally reliable. Link is already up here's hoping it's a good one.

24 Dec 2016 11:16:27
Mamahd also pretty reliable.

23 Dec 2016 18:09:58
Doiger. are you HARDIES DAD? You love that boy eh? He's average. If we want to be winning league titles sometime soon we need far better than the likes of him. !

24 Dec 2016 08:49:00
Djab, bit harsh on the lad, I. do think he will come good
but will agree he won't get in the team at present .
Once the boy strengthens up a bit I think he will be a decent player, he has to prove that at St Mirren .

23 Dec 2016 11:20:12
Although a lot is being said about signing defenders or midfield players, our goalscoring record isn't exactly great. We have Waghorn, Garner, Miller and Dodoo but still don't score many goals. Surely goalscoring has to also be a priority. I still say bring young Hardie back into the fold and play him with Garner up front in a 4-4-2 format. I'd love Jota to sign and a midfield with Jota, Rossiter, Holt and Windass sounds exciting!

23 Dec 2016 12:56:02
Doiger, scoring goals is the main priority but Hardie has only managed 3 in 15 this season with a team in a lower division so I don't see how he will be the difference?

Waghorn, who hasn't featured 12 times has scored 3 and a further 7 in 5 league cup appearances.

Your midfield selection looks good though. đź‘Ť.

23 Dec 2016 13:08:48
Fair point Rafbob about Hardie but again he is playing with players who are, with all respect, of a lower grade than Premier League players so will create fewer chances. As for Waggy, yes I hope his return with 2 goals last week will see him return to the goalscoring form of last season.

23 Dec 2016 13:17:13
Don't get me wrong, I hope the lad does well on loan and returns to us closer to the finished product but he should surely have a few more even with the standard of service?

Waghorn looked promising in that last game, hopefully he can come on to some long running form and continue from that performance.

23 Dec 2016 13:57:12
Hardies been playing as a left winger for St mirren a few times.

24 Dec 2016 08:22:15
Our defence always gets mentioned we'll look at the league stats we have conceded 18 goals in 18 game second fewest in league we had a terrible start to season at the back 5 of those goals were in one game against Celtic so our defence has started to play a lot better but if you look at our scoring record we have scored 22 goals fewer than Celtic and they have a game in hand so you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see where our problems are we need to start taking our chances need more goals from midfield but all in all we just need more goals.

24 Dec 2016 07:27:00
Point is most fans would have loved to have seen hardie get a proper chance, particularly last season in championship- as I said at time if not then, when?

24 Dec 2016 11:39:15
Maybe atakayi will get a chances this year.

23 Dec 2016 11:15:16
Still see guys talking about signing lansbury, do we think this is realistic? For me it would be a massive signing and will be amazed if a few prem clubs don't make an approach! Still got best years ahead of him and we won't compete on wages front if he is wanted down south!

23 Dec 2016 13:24:24
Nic a see your point on the money with lansbury but our hope could be the lure of european football with us once wee get back into europe wee will attract bigger players not a lot of hope doing that in the english championship.

23 Dec 2016 17:32:41
The guys a good footballer but he's also a bell.

23 Dec 2016 19:58:38
A bigger Bell than Joey Barton? I say if we have a chance sign him up!

24 Dec 2016 07:23:06
I actually posted on here a few months ago that we were very interested, in signing the forest midfielder, lansbury! I think he'd be a terrific signing for us! But I do honestly think, that the attacking midfielder we'll sign, is the spaniard, who plays for brentford, called jota! Although it will be on an initial 6 month loan deal, it will in all probability, become a permanent deal in the summer, when jota is out of contract! He does look a very skillful, attacking midfielder, who scores goals. He has one helluva left peg! Also heard there's a very good chance that we'll sign conor hourihane from barnsley, on a pre-contract, for next season! He also looks a really good player!

23 Dec 2016 09:54:39
A few guys are right the 2 fullbacks don't help our centre halfs at all? Hodson has made a massive difference and knows how to defend! It really makes the Kieran and Wilson look silly as they have so much covering to do?

23 Dec 2016 11:27:50
Hodson has to stay in the team. He's a solid defender and also decent going forward. Tavernier is never a rb in a million years.

23 Dec 2016 13:57:35
He is a right back just an attacking one.

23 Dec 2016 14:13:29
Wallace generally escapes criticism but he is equally week defensively and gets drawn into the middle far too often. We need quality full backs, players in the mould of Caldow, Shearer, Jardine, Gary Stevens, Robinson, Porini etc., both Tavernier and Hodson are decent full backs but they are not in the same class as the aforementioned.

Wallace for me is not being challenged because we have no alternative at left back.

24 Dec 2016 09:20:37
TOMUSA

Who was Robinson?

23 Dec 2016 09:35:33
Whyte was back in Court, yesterday, and pled not guilty to fraud charges. The next hearing will be in Edinburgh, in February 2017.

23 Dec 2016 10:44:07
And he'll get away with it too.

23 Dec 2016 11:35:56
Prosecution is a joke, the man should be honoured for highlighting the ongoing corruption within rangers, hopefully he finds a jury of good hearted tims, who will free him from these shackles of malicious allegations.

Happy Christmas banter to you all.

23 Dec 2016 13:10:28
Haha, trust a snowdrop to say that!

23 Dec 2016 13:43:31
Rafbob. Hope you off during the grant, if not, hope it's a quiet duty.

Got a party organised in goa on 31st, mandatory dress uniform, Celtic and bear tops only, anyone not in compliance with mess dress requires to make a donation to the beer call fund to gain entry.

Penalty payments from opposition fans for every goal conceded, every booking and sending off, and penalties.

Winning group of fans get to enjoy the rewards at hangover party on 1st Jan.

No comments on Sir Dermot's Money Laundering here.

23 Dec 2016 14:19:32
Fd, if i was a bear, I'd be more worried about mike (god bless the man) Ashley, cleaning his dirty linen in open court sometime early next year.

Whyte might actually come out of this whiter than many of you imagine.

Still hard to believe that the green and Whyte sunk the old rangers to the archives of history.

23 Dec 2016 14:28:56
People in glass houses should not throw stones.

23 Dec 2016 14:35:44
Sounds like it will be a brilliant party boyscout. As a retired rockape I'd love to be there. Good luck and a merry Christmas.

23 Dec 2016 15:16:50
Party like 1999 when you had scoring sensation called Viduka. Happy Christmas, see you before the bells.

23 Dec 2016 16:40:24
I'm off for the grant scout. i'm running out of stuff to do with the kids though!

Enjoy your party and have a good Christmas 🎄.

23 Dec 2016 09:32:05
I'm no football scout and I don't play FIFA or football manager so don't have an in depth knowledge of what players are out there and are within Rangers budget but I think we should target the following areas:

1. Attacking midfielder
2. Defensive midfielder
3. Central defender

Any suggestions for these areas who could do a job, understand what playing for Rangers is all about and can hit the ground running?

23 Dec 2016 09:59:44
Henry Lansbury - good attacking midfielder and has a bit of bite about him

Ryan Tunnicliffe - CDM with a similar mild to rossiter (Think we'll be fine if Rossiter can stay fit! )

Sol Bamba - Looks like he's on the way out of his club, he's big and robust and scores goals from set pieces.

23 Dec 2016 10:15:19
Lansbury from Forrest, agree he would be ideal. Is he a realistic target for us? How much would he cost?
What about Conor Hourihane? I read we were after him, is he any good?

Totally forgot about Rossiter (understandably) when is he due to be first team fit?

23 Dec 2016 10:41:09
Lansbury is yet to sign a contract extension so would be available on a pre.

Hourihane would be good but he tends to play deeper if we're after an attacking midfielder. Going to have to beat celtic to him as well.

Who knows with Rossiter, could be a few weeks, could be a few months!

Think we might nab a few big signings on pre contracts, a free transfer in Jota and maybe a couple of loans in January.

23 Dec 2016 11:02:41
he was due back in the team 5 weeks ago and 3 weeks ago and now nobody knows.

23 Dec 2016 18:07:02
John souttar.

24 Dec 2016 06:53:53
Do you not think having only scored 25 goals in 18 league games that we need a striker?
