See the Motherwell captain has already been stoking the fire for Sunday's game saying that he thought it was funny seeing Cardoso's reaction to that thug Bowman"s flying elbow. The halfwit then goes on to more or less say that it will be more of the same on Sunday. Even Brendan Rodgers condemned the challenge at the time saying it looked like the lad had been shot. I would like to know one thing. Is this eejit going to get censured or even spoken to ny the compliance officer or any other member of the football authorities? Or is this type of thing set aside for one of our boys that oversteps, or comes close to the mark? I"m all for being strong and physical but what that neanderthal did was serious assault and premeditated assault at that. And worse, this no mark has now waded in with his tuppence worth. I hope our guys get through this game without serious injury and, unlike previous games against them, receive some protection. I really hope we give this mob a right old tanking. Would love to see them relegated tbh.

I would prefer it to be the opposite. Have Lafferty play just behind Morelos and provide him with the service and hold up play that he needs to get the goals banged in. Lafferty would still score 10+ from CAM.

Flanagan playing in his natural position and push Tav forward. Halliday did fine when asked to do so against Maribor so I'd stick with him. He gives 150%!

Barisic is to be recalled for Croatia and today it is announced that Morelos is in line for his first couple of caps for Colombia!
If he performs well it's the start of a good thing for him and he well deserves
Just shows playing at a big club like Rangers gives anybody opportunities at any nationality
This will no doubt put more increased value on the young man's head
If you were looking at a 7m value then I think if things go to plan then your actually looking at a player that will easily top 20m
He is easily our top asset
Not being funny but we look to be having a good set of players st tye helm and probably looking at another 3 or 4 players that will potentially have a worth of 10m plus.

A know it's a couple a months in now but am still pinching Masel believing Stevie g is manager at our club 😀 I love his training methods, way he talks, and see changes well suited to the way he used to play himself, his attitude and the way he's instilled it in the current squad is a sight to behold, look forward to sitting in front at the telly with a nice cuppa tea n a wee bisquit without the fear a getting pumped n papping the mug at the telly, 😁 saved a few quid on mugs this year btw😁.

Wallace would weaken our defence and would be next to useless as a left winger. 3rd or 4th choice left back depending on how well halliday does. Should be sold ASAP, his wages could be used to improve the starting 11. Yes he stuck by us blah blah, poor captain and was quite rightly stripped of this responsibility. Good servant to our club but its time to move on👍.

He did sacrifice his career to stay with us and I applaud the guy for that. However he has been well compensated for it.
He would never have got the same wages he was on with us, even in the lower divisions, if he had have went to any other club especially up here in Scotland.

B4 our financial melt down when Wallace was playing with good players he was one of the best left back in the country. When he briefly came back last season even in a really poor gers team he managed to earn another Scotland cap. We are not good enough yet to get rid of that sort of experience and skill.
I would welcome him back with open arms legend in my eyes. He could have made a fortune down in England but choose to stay and helps us get to the position that we are in just now.
Welcome back big man. In my eyes he is up there with Greig and Jardine for what the club means to him with blue bloody flowing through his veins.

Someone's needing to have a serious word with kevin mcnaughton! What planet is this guy on, with his statement, that aberdeen centre half scott mckenna, is worth more than double, £3.5million? He's worth nowhere near £7million or more! Honestly if mckenna is worth £7million, then going by ability and where he's played, connor goldson is worth £30million as he's 4× the player that mckenna is! Mckenna is a decent centre half but worth between £3-£4million max, as far as i'm concerned! On connor goldson we definitely got him in a steal from brighton, for only£3million! Nikola katic is also worth more and streets ahead of mckenna!

McKenna is a good player who would thrive in either OF team. He’ll go for more than that next season if he has another solid year behind him and plays for the Scottish National side. DELIGHTED they never got him.

The fact McKenna has great experience and Scotland caps and still fairly young he is worth every penny of 4-5m!
Connor Goldson realistically, at the minute, is worth around 5-7m!
However, that is likely to soar if he continues doing what he does and we advance in tournaments like Europa group stages thus will increase his value furthermore.

Took it's time but we eventually got Lafferty.
I have some mixed feelings about the guy but generally I think he'll be good for us in the short term, the market for forward players is awful just now anyone even half decent is going for silly money so to get Lafferty for 450k is a good bit of business and plugs a gap for a year or two and gives us a couple of years to get someone younger and better through the door.
A lot of fans are clamouring for Middleton to play more often but I think Gerrard is doing the right thing just now, over the years we've had a lot of good young players like fleck, McCormack, Burke and so on who get into the team at a young age and start off really well then seem to burn out and eventually move on, sometimes they do well after leaving sometimes not but I think it's better we introduce our youngsters slowly over time instead of just throwing them in to see if they make it or not.
This is a bit of an early morning rambling post so I'll shut up now, can't wait to beat that Russian mob then beat motherwell at the weekend.
