We need to give Pedro a chance to build his team and gain a level of consistency. The two Mexicans will take a few months to bed in. Every club we face will park the bus. We need to stop the negativity, McInnes, McLeish, Mcanyone will not do better. We need two seasons with one manager to improve, there are no quick fixes.

All the comments about getting rid of Pedro or out of order. Give him time. Look at Man Utd, after last season would you have sacked Mourinho? No.

Instant success can't be bought. Long term strategy works, but needs time. We cannot live in the past, too many supporters look back the way.

Against Hearts they ended up with Lafferty playing left back and 6 at the back. We did that with Barcelona years ago and got a 0-0 result at Ibrox and Messi said we were anti football. So when it happens to us it's ignored!

24 Aug 2017 00:59:43
Man Utd won the Europa league and the league cup. Man Utd qualified for the champions league so why would he have been sacked?

24 Aug 2017 10:52:14
Messi was just greeting because he couldn't score against the mighty gers.

24 Aug 2017 15:17:21
I say give him time or else we will be taking on and getting rid of manager after manager. Would be worth keeping him on for another season just to shove it up the mhanky media if nothing else, would hate them to feel they had played a part in his exit. Half the time it's as if they decree if he should stay or go.

24 Aug 2017 15:19:11
Briggsboy I totally agree this sack the manager after three games is crazy we have had a complete overhaul of the team and it will take time we were never going to win the league this year and anyone who thought we would well I wonder what planet you live on this is a long term project right from the scouting system to youth teams to twenties through to first team all have to be overhauled.

we don't have the money to just go buy a first team and challenge for the title we need to challenge Aberdeen first get that second place and cut the points deficit on Celtic then keep building it will take time we are not as bad as a lot of people would have us believe yes not the start we would want, but on Sat we played some good football.

Hearts hardly threatened us one long range shot but other than that we were in control now I'm not for a minute saying Pedro is home and dry the jury is still out so for me I'll give him this season to get this team up to speed we've only played three games I want to see second and a good run in cups maybe a final and anything can happen then, but let's stop the negativity, it doesn't help the team.

let's back them to the hilt I've been a season ticket holder for longer than I can remember and I've been through the bad times sitting inside Ibrox with 13,000 fans there this team can get better if we stand with them

24 Aug 2017 15:22:59
Agree with the lot apart from the mourinho bit mate, teams don't have quick fixes at this level unless you have at least comparable transfer budgets (there's a lot of good Portuguese players at a price) we know MacLeish was a fan of the lower leagues of France and came across some decent signings, however some not so decent, where would Mcinnes spend? The dregs of the Scottish premier? No one knows, maybe these guys will come good too, like the manager, a bit of time to get some consistency.

23 Aug 2017 23:10:16
Chris Cadden is another Jamie Murphy in the making and at about 3 or 400,000 he is a steal best winger in the comp at the moment if we don't move quick he will be off to England and in the EPL in a few years.

24 Aug 2017 08:08:02
Don't understand why we aren't going for Cadden. Young, Scottish, knows the league and wouldn't cost much. It's the same with Moult and Walker all proven SPFL players who would have cost the same combined as Herrera. Why gamble with him when you could have got these 2 players for around the same money?

24 Aug 2017 15:18:20
Totally agree with you larkyinoz! I've stated regularly on here that chris cadden is a very good young winger, who'll only get better and better! We most definitely should leave jamie walker for now and go and sign motherwell duo, chris cadden and louis moult! We would get both players for around the 1million quid mark, what hearts are asking for walker alone! Our 3rd assistant coach JJ should guide pedro on cadden as he coached him while managing the motherwell youths, several years back! By all accounts JJ rates cadden highly, so what's the hold up gers? Make your move before an english club snaps cadden up!

23 Aug 2017 22:11:54
Love the Rangers and first time poster. I really want PC to do well but have my doubts. So far Cardozo, alves, jack, dorrans, candias and Morelos have all looked promising. Tav and Wallace will do for now and Fod/ Alnwick are fairly reliable. However if PC insists on playing Windas and Miller we are going to be in trouble. Where Kenny is playing is a mystery just now. We either go with Morelos and Herrera or try and get a creative midfielder in before window shuts.

The wee lad from Fulham might be a shout we had from last year on a year loan? I will reserve judgement on Pena but again signs not promising. I fear now there is no money left and we will need to rely on what we have. 2nd place is a minimum for any Rangers gaffer. Come on PC - prove you can do it starting Sunday.

24 Aug 2017 07:56:28
Windas has done well so far this season and if he can give it for a full 90 instead of drifting out the game it's like a new signing. I agree with miller. He is not good enough to perform this link up man as his first touch and passing are terrible. He is a striker so should be one of two up front or a sub for one of strikers late on in game. We can't judge Pena at the mo as not seen what he brings but I don't think we would have bought him without some homework albeit we have bought duds in the past but that was when money was not an object.

Team will come good.

24 Aug 2017 08:10:18
Blue Nose

Sorry but playing well for 30 mins isn't good enough. It's ridiculous that a player consistently disappears in games. Didn't even get a good 10 mins out of him against Hearts and after a strong challenge he didn't want to know

23 Aug 2017 21:43:51
Seems to be one in one out at ibrox . pedro has spent his budget by the look of things . Pena, Herrera need to come on to a bit form

23 Aug 2017 21:30:54
So the loan signing has been completed and its till january, is this till ohalloren comes back and is our saviour. i'm fed up of this utter nonsense at ibrox.

23 Aug 2017 21:45:09
6 month is good and bad. We're not committed to a full season if he's not up to it in Scotland but if he's really good could loose out to another team or he could go back to City. Heard his contract only has a year left too.

23 Aug 2017 21:45:26
what utter nonsense are you on about?

23 Aug 2017 17:23:55
Bottom line is pedro is not good enough he's brought in a load of rubbish aside from Dorrins, Jack and Alves I can't see any of his signing doing anything we could have signed better players from within the SPL we look like we're going to miss out on Jamie Walker a boyhood fan of our club cause he's spent money so poorly I hope I'm wrong about Pedro but I really think he's out of his depth

23 Aug 2017 17:38:32
Candeias doesn't look bad at all to me and neither does Cardoso at the back. Morelos looks like he will score goals too. Fans need to remember when teams come to ibrox its 11 players behind the ball for 90 mins and its going to be difficult to break down. I'll accept that Herrera and Pena haven't hit the ground running but so far I think they still have a chance to prove themselves and come good. Sometimes Pedros interviews are full of garbage but I think he needs atleast til Christmas to be judged. Playing Miller in the starting 11 is hampering us in my opinion. Should be used as a sub.

23 Aug 2017 18:03:15
GM90,
I agree with most of what you have said other than the Christmas part, like the new players, the new manager needs time, Pedro, Pena and Herrera will do well, mark my words๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ†
I do believe we could strengthen our fullbacks and would love to see Herrera and Morales get a good run together!

23 Aug 2017 18:27:09
GM90 don't you think teams have 11 men behind the ball at the piggery? I imagine they do and they seldom struggle to break these teams down so why can't we? Are the players not good enough? Are the tactics not good enough? Either way its the managers fault as is the fact he let's Miller play where ever he wants. Kenny Miller scores goals when he's in the middle so play him there or don't play him. Surely it should not be a question of time, give him till Christmas, give him the season etc, but a question of how well we are doing and how far off the pace we are, we have 3 league games before the OF game all 3 of which we should win but if we don't the leagues gone before playing them once. I've watched pedro play them twice and seen NOTHING that makes me think he can beat them so why are we giving him time?

23 Aug 2017 18:42:24
11 men behind the ball that just an excuse after all it not as if we never lose at ibrox with the so called 11 players behind the ball teams we have and when thses teams do come forward and don't score i'm sure there no 11 men behind a ball them but we still ca t seem to score

23 Aug 2017 19:51:36
I would give Herrera and morelos a go up front for the next few games. Can't say Herrera has looked too good so far, but like morelos has been isolated at times

No use signing him and not giving him a proper chance.

23 Aug 2017 21:51:56
Aye hopefully all the new guys settle and perform this year and we can concentrate our transfer funds on a couple of players. Which is what will happen eventually rather than 11 new players each year.

Any team will struggle bringing in so many new faces, we need a team to bond and work as a unit, to the point passes can be played to where they know their team mates will be heading :-)

23 Aug 2017 16:07:07
I see 'Rangers target' Doukara of Leeds has signed for a Turkish club. I don't believe he was ever on our radar and glad he's not joining us. No where near good enough. Walker is the player we need. As for the Mexicans, questions have got to be asked if they can adapt to the Scottish game and why Pedro's judgement on the transfers wasn't challenged by the board. More than a few eyebrows were raised by experts in the game at the time and all the board members know all about Rangers and Scottish football.

23 Aug 2017 13:31:09
I see that we have secured this boy from Manchester city on loan until January or for the season, then I read that he is for the development squad so what is the point of signing him it is players for the first team squad we need not the development squad.

23 Aug 2017 15:16:13
to give experience to that squad, so they can play competitively. maybe buy him net year. less risk on a loanee and hopefully allows us to put a decent fight in during the competition.

23 Aug 2017 15:43:27
What's point of being young player in developing team if bringing somebody in on loan to replace surely better to give our own young boys some experience pointless

23 Aug 2017 16:01:53
Bring in young put in devolpe squad put them in 1st team by jan prob trying to do a smelltic wae tierney etc etc just shows there can't be to many bursting or good enough just now for 1st team in my opinion

23 Aug 2017 16:19:57
Is he not in final year if his contract? Similar to what we done with Beerman, brought in on loan and into development squad and then signed when his contract ended.

23 Aug 2017 22:04:37
my opinion on this might be wrong. but didn't Celtic take paddy Roberts on a two year loan. then started breaking into the first team last season. maybe this wee dude will be the same for us them we will be raving about him. although we have him for a year but might be a a buy on Clause in this.

23 Aug 2017 22:11:16
tic had roberts for 18 months we have him until january

23 Aug 2017 11:59:30
Pedro has spent north of ยฃ10m I think if that money was given to big Alex we might not be playing the best football but we'd be winning games and ready to fight celtic for titles remember what he did on a shoe string budget last time! He ran Martin O'Neil out of town with his tail between his legs!

23 Aug 2017 12:18:18
you think.

nothing is ever a certainty so let's give pedro some time work with his squad. he could win the title no one knows

man utd were crap last year. now they look like contenders.

should we sack pedro and give big eck ยฃ10m then if that doesn't work sack him and just keep doing that until we get success or go into admin

building a team takes time we just have to be patient

23 Aug 2017 13:29:05
Im all for giving Pedro time but i must admit Big Eck was my choice at the start

23 Aug 2017 14:01:50
I really wish people would give up with this Alex McLeish pish! He's done absolutely nothing in the last 6 years to suggest he's still got it as a manager, either in the U. K. Or abroad.
Pedro Caixinha is our manager and he's trying to build a team . Get off the mans back, give him a chance and get behind him and our team. Dave King was so very right when he talked about the huge difference between Rangers Supporters and Rangers Fans!

23 Aug 2017 14:44:33
A big Alex Rangers side would never have crashed out of Europe against the fourth best team in Luxembourg. And he wouldn't have set up his team the way Pedro did against Celtic twice last season, PC's tactical naivety ensuring two humiliations.

As for the comparison between Rangers now and Man United last season. Well, they are up against some of the richest clubs in the world and they did win a European trophy last season. Also such is Mourinho's track record that they also had to potential to become EPL contenders. If they had brought in a midtable manager from a mickey mouse league in the middle east then he would have been out the door quicker than you could say 'David Moyes'.

23 Aug 2017 15:09:30
What has Pedro done in the last 6 years in football management? I hope Pedro IS the answer but an Alex McLeish Gers side wouldn't be sitting behind the sheep and st Johnstone.

23 Aug 2017 15:19:44
Naz . u don know Big Ecks team got pumped out the UEFA cup first in 2002 quicker than you can say Victoria Zizkov

23 Aug 2017 17:39:28
87henderson

Are you equating going out to a Czech side after extra time on the away goals rule to getting humped by a team that no one outside Luxembourg had ever heard of?

23 Aug 2017 19:38:04
Naz

Agree mate the result against the Luxembourg side was by far the worst ever European result in the clubs history. It's unfortunately a sign of just how low we have sunk that some fans seem to think this result was acceptable as was the 5-1 drubbing off them and practically lying down to them in the semi final.

23 Aug 2017 22:13:41
We should not have appointed a manager with no experience of British football and who wanted to bring a host of untried south Americans to the club simply because he had worked with them before. Period.
It is McGregor the Managing Director who recommended his appointment who should carry the can!

24 Aug 2017 15:36:28
Naz, a Czech team that no one heard of! I'm comparing getting papped out in the first round with getting papped out in the first round!
Away goals, extra time call it what you want. it still happened!
It stand to reason that the result we had in 2002 was WORSE!

The team that night was Klos, Moore, Konterman, Amoruso, Ricksen, Ferguson, Arteta, Numan, de Boer, Arveladze, Lovenkrands.

Subs: McGregor, Caniggia, McCann, Dodds, Muscat, Latapy, Ross.

Back then that team was very very good, now we are mediocre.
Both results we shocking, and big Eck slept with a manager! Inherited most of Advocaats team!

Done nothing before or after!

23 Aug 2017 07:35:14
Nemane, man city, loan confirmed.
Well done and thank you to those who called it in advance.

23 Aug 2017 09:24:09
U hear that in the Vietnam gazette Joel ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

23 Aug 2017 09:56:01
Good friend of mine, a true blue, moved to Manchester about 3 years ago. Phoned him to ask, he watches city down there, says the lad is lightning fast and he sees him more as a striker. I asked if he was as good as Roberts, his reply I wish, still lots of potential.

23 Aug 2017 11:06:47
Bluepete no offence mate but what is a 19yo with no first team experience going to do for a club with the expectations like ours.

23 Aug 2017 11:34:47
Do we need him when we have our own Serge Atakayi (plays the same position) playing well?

23 Aug 2017 11:41:45
Non taken just passing on what my friend said.

23 Aug 2017 22:30:18
Watch YouTube - pi*h!

23 Aug 2017 05:06:06
Anybody know when the Development Squad play their Games against the likes of Bayern Chelsea etc?
And do you think that Players like Dodoo Holt Burt etc are better staying at the Club to play in THESE Games rather than going on Loan to a Championship Club?

23 Aug 2017 09:09:49
1 I'll believe it when I see it
2 yes

23 Aug 2017 22:34:18
playing bayern chelsea etc and teams of that ilk won't happen on a regular basis. coming out the development league was a money saving exercise. as far as i know hee haw has been arranged

23 Aug 2017 00:41:24
Rangers secure loan deal for Manchester City winger Aaron Nemane.

First piece of business overseen by Mark Allen.

Negativity about the young lad in 3.2.1.

23 Aug 2017 10:29:33
He has to have something too offer as you said it will be Allen that has made the deal so surely he knows what the kid can offer.

Hopefully a lot more than Dalcio did when he played.

23 Aug 2017 00:27:09
I can't believe how much has been said in the press about ex players suddenly being world beaters after leaving the club! Yes they have all started well but let's face it non of them set the world alight at rangers! Let's see how good they are come the end of the season. Waghorn was okay but missed far to many chances and never delivered in big games, Mckay hadn't had a good game since the Hogmanay old firm and wanted to leave, o'halloran was poor. The only one who I thought might have stayed was Garner just because he might have suited the 442 system. The way the press are going on they will be saying we should have kept warburton just because he has had a decent start at forest next!

23 Aug 2017 10:34:31
Waghorn was a top pro he gave his all right too the end even when he maybe knew his time was up and for that I hope he goes on to have a great career. Garner always gave his best in a system that never favoured him and for that I wish him the best.

As for the other two they are a couple of let down that have talent but not as much as they think they have and got too big for there boots as seen when McKay stopped playing well then when O'halleron didn't turn up for a u20 game both never had the attitude too succused at Rangers the shirt was just too heavy for they two spineless Mankys

23 Aug 2017 00:13:50
As far as I'm aware the loan signing winger Aaron Nemane plays on both Wings but predominantly in the Right. He is also out of contract at end of the season and has no appearances in the City 1st team.

23 Aug 2017 00:11:57
Heard we just signed a young lad from Man. City called Aaron Nemad (spelling! ) On loan.
He's an attacking Winger who can play both Wings. Never heard of the lad before but he's supposed to be a real prospect. He's been fast tracked through City's Youth Programme. Its obviously been helped due to our new DOF, really hope that the lad does well and he may be included for the County game?
Does this mean that the Wallace deal ain't going to happen this Window or at all?
Anybody know anything about the Player?

23 Aug 2017 08:05:51
Wallace? He captain think you meant walker lol

I think gers sit tight on walker get him jan on pre. contract

23 Aug 2017 00:10:29
Rangers have signed winger Aaron Nemane from Man City on season long loan. 19 year old signed on loan under reccomendation of our new Director of Football who has spoken very highly of this boy. That may mean end to Jamie Walker deal until Bosman in January.

22 Aug 2017 23:40:27
Aaron Numanee to sign for us this week, pacy winger only 19 but with loads of potential, 1 year loan deal from Man City, will probably play on the left of mid. so looks as though Hearts are not going to get there ยฃ1m for Walker

22 Aug 2017 23:28:34
Aaron Nemane a winger from man city on loan is the latest I wonder if its true.

23 Aug 2017 13:31:28
rangers wouldn't be able to sign any player from scotland on a pre contract in January. Only foreign teams can do that. we would have to wait till may.

22 Aug 2017 23:12:00
Aaron Nemane the 19yr old winger on loan from Man City.

Opinions on him? is this the end of Walker interest in this window and signing him on a free in January?

22 Aug 2017 23:01:33
We are in for Man C winger Arron Nemane on a loan and he is coming up to Glasgow to sign before Sunday's match
