One thing is certain and that is that the books have to balance next season. We don't have the luxury of loaning out players and they either are part of the squad or not. Gallagher, McAusland and McKay to mention three.

We don't know which players will be exiting and we don't know if the playing budget will be cut but it seems the manager is worried by the level of opposition in the Championship and I presume we'll have more money to spend than the likes of Hearts.

All of the management and coaching teams need to get together and get their heads around this reality and put a plan together which ensures a combination of youth and experienced players make the starting line up. We won't need 100 points to win the next league but we should win it and be a better team for it if the younger players have a year's worth of experience in the process.

We have a severe problem at the mo.
The players we have on these great contracts won't leave, we can't sell because
No one will match there wages.
We can't bring in new players.
Ally won't use youth.
The club overspending and ally saying he'll fight for more money to be spent.
If we have to bring in new players they should be free, and offered sensible contracts,

Op kfraser have you had a look on the financial page what's your take on it do you think there is any truth in it

I might be being petty here but the poll of the day is based on McCoist being manager and my response is 100% NO.
With a decent manager my response would be 100% YES.
As each 'victory' is achieved I am convinced there is something in it for him as fielding his 'best' team when the league is won, by such a distance is pointless otherwise.

Billyb I see a lot of people are saying the top points are needed cause we are going into volentary addmin so as we get points deduction now while we can afford it what's your thoughts on rumour

Tmwnn, Anything is possible after everything that has gone on but anything I have read is pure speculation.
My only point in this post is, if we are to win the championship we must have a change of manager.
This change and a steamlined squad, introducing young players, will give us a basis for the future. More than a season overdue but better late than never. [ I hope!. ]

Love ally's quotes in daily record.
Basically ally said we played pish but still won, good habit to get into.

That just says it all.

Bit worried that the board is doing too
Much damage by not getting rid of ally.

Look at moyes, ferguson left later than should have and moyes never had backing to do the job. What will our new manager have to do

Couldnae make the game last night as I was working. I don't buy the daily Celt anymore but I saw ally's verdict on the game and I nearly peed ma panties. quote. we didn't play as well as we have been playing but it's the result that counts. ally I am steadily starting to really dislike you now!

So I hope to get Foster, Simonsen, Peralta, Black, Sheils, Law, Daly, Cribari, and maybe Hutton even though he is still young. Bring back McKay for Sheils, McAusland for Foster, Gallacher for Simonsen, Mclean for Peralta, Scott Allan for Black, Hutchinson for Cribari, and lastly McNulty from Livingston for Daly. We don't need Law he is a waste of space. Also bring up the youth lads like Gasparatto, Murdoch, Telfer, and most of all Gallagher and envolve them more!

I believe that would also slash the costs of salaries but I don't know where to offload the washed up players.

Next years line up hopefully could be: Bell, Wallace, Jig/Monshi, Gasparatto/Hutchinson, McAusland, Scott Allan/Mclean, Macleod, Temps/McKay, Aird/Mckay, McNulty, Clark.

Build for the future and no more SPL journeyman this is Rangers!
