The pleas on here before 1st Semptember was judge Ally when he has all his signings available, I have and it's dire. Ally should drop down and hone his skills at youth level or reserve team.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Right lads can I just say I
remember playing forfar
away back in a semi-final
at hampden park 2-1 to
forfar two big punts up the
park from big p. mccloy on
to big d. j head 3-2 the bears
now my point is when you have
people snapping at your ankles
what chance of football?

This now has to be put in real perspective, After 2 games (180mins) against Forfars amatuer and old journeymen team, rangers with their 8 new players, and after nicky Law saying in todays papers we were the second best team in scotland? have drawn 2-2? yes 2-2, they scored 2 against us, we couldn't manage that feat, Allys new team needed 2 games to score 2 goals,
now anyone with any sense knows that most of these mainly amatuer teams will collapse on the big pitch at Ibrox after about 55mins, but in the meantime we have been outplayed by Arbroath and Forfar, and well otplayed by QOS, who were the better team, does Ally know wot he, s doing? he stood today like he wasnt a part of the team, like he didn't know wot to do, I have supported him long enough, watching today was embarrassing and as I wasnt there I turned over to the Arsenal game to see wot real football looked like, he has to go soon, he simply ain't a manager, that's the first time I've admitted that fact but its too sore to watch now, Tommyblue

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally is leading the team to disaster

No long term plan

No football philosophy for the fans to buy into

Youth development - when the whole future of the club depends on capitalising on the potential of Murray Park - we see the team being filled with overpaid journeymen.

Oh, and playing Black while under charge for betting against his own team - name another Manager in the clubs history who would have done this!

Agree0 Disagree0

What other manager would have taken the job at ibrox ally came in and has done his best so give him a break

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets see if we can get 10 managers who would and could do this very very well paid job
Sheils
butcher
mccoll
mciness
adams
moore,. that's in scotland
davies
lomas

sorry its took me 10mins to get a list of 8 guys who could or would do a turn for us at a lot less than Ally
now given more time and effort I think I could double that amount
then we could debate the merits of where Rangers would be after so many games as Ally has had
so anyone got any more names?

Agree0 Disagree0

N5 looing at your lis tb has said he wouldn't come back and ide imagine the rest wouldn't come near while there are huge clouds gathering regarding boardroom battles

At least ally can use the excuse of being tired due to a hard game in mid week like celtic. the players would have been knackered chasing part timers around for 90mins. I feel sorry for the true fans who spend a fortune travelling round scotland to get short changed. ally ahould send the players out on work experience to see what a real job is!was charles green wrong to ask for a bit more out the management and players?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

See Ally blaming the windy conditions strange though as I didn't really notice the wind in Rangers favour in the 1st half. Sad state of affairs that a 37 year old with a bad knee can stroll through a game so comfortably. Marvin could play into his sixties if that's the level of opposition week in week out!

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol is he blaming the wind again? He did that last season lol

Agree0 Disagree0

He will blame everything bar himself at least other managers can be honest and say they got it wrong. It's unbelievable how deluded he is and how he can't see how bad a manager he really is. Is it his overinflated ego?

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 i'm beginning to believe its his overinflated wage packet that he, s intested in TB

Ally has said he will phone Zaliukas to find out what is happening WHY SHOULD HE PHONE HIM if he has not said he wants to sign by now tell him to get to **** we only want players that WANT to play for us and we won't beg.
Pandza said openly he WANTED to play for us. We are being made a laughing stock with these transfer dealings.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Pity no one felt the need to call Pandaza and explain why he didn't receive a promised contract offer. Shameful way to treat a player who clearly wants to play for the club. Another example of the amateur outfit that is Rangers now

Mr McCoist hasn't got it and won't ever have it. A fantastic servant, a great forward and a man who stood by the club when times got hard and others were quick to jump ship but not a Rangers manager. Allowing for conditions and pitch surface the performance today was unacceptable. Poor tactics and an inability to change what wasn't working.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agreed, but will this sentiment be reflected in the chants of supporters at games? I doubt it to be honest. I reckon the vast majority would agree with the OP but as with a lot of things at our club the majority are letting themselves be controlled by a bullish minority. I don't see fans being brave enough to call for his head. Shocking state of affairs though. He's displayed his ineptitude countless times for years now and still we accept his excuses without as much as a whisper.

Agree0 Disagree0

We brought Nicky Clark on board from QOS because he scored 41 goals in this league last season and don't play him. If I was a Rangers Director I'd be asking questions.

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on and the sooner he goes the better. Woeful manager who is only there due to the troubles at the club. He like many of the directors has benefitted from what happened to the club and continues to take big wages under false pretences

Agree0 Disagree0

After the embarrassment in the cup the manager and the players should have been up for the game from 1st minute. They should have steamrollered Forfar and played with commitment and determination. It's obvious Ally can't motivate the team and the attitude of some of the players has got to be questioned. A half decent team would have wiped the floor with Forfar

Agree0 Disagree0

Today's statistics say it all Part time Forfar 8 attempts on goal full time Rangers 5 attempts on goal. Part time Forfar 58% possession full time Rangers 42%. Man of the match 37 year old Marvin Andrews considered not good enough for Rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 you missed the most important stat pal, the one that reads goals : rangers 1 forfar 0, how could you have missed it! GAFG

Agree0 Disagree0

@6 You must have a great life so easy pleased- the only important statistic against Forfar a 1-0 win- Oaft!

marvin was allowed to leave because he had a serious injury you closet, the fact he played a blinder is neither here nor there, his contract was up he was allowed to go, god sum people, still if it made you happy, TB

Agree0 Disagree0

@ 7 give me all the stats you want, 9o% possesion 45 goal attempts if no goals are scored the site would be in meltdown ffs we won, just because we didn't score fkn 19 goals, get a grip you can't be pele every week mate

Was at the game today and it was dreadful, too many long punts up the field. Wallace was only decent player on the park. Foster was a joke and Stevie Smith at left midfield? Smith shouldn't be in the team unless Wallace is injured, Daly was also poor today. I would have maybe played Shiels instead of Templeton today.

Big Andrews was a rock for them in Defence.

Would we have won that last year?

I have my doubts.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Think Bell got pass marks too. Need to make several changes for next week. Out should go Foster, Peralta, Smith and Daly for McAusland, Black, McLeod or McKay and Shiels. Also it does look as though we need a no nonsense centre half. Big Marvin superb today

Now I'm reading yet again our manager praising the opposition I'm getting sick and tired of it needs to be more ruthless never mind the other teams remember they all tried to destroy us Ally you need to get ruthless read these pagers the Bears are getting restless enough is enough no more mr nice guy. Harthill Bear.

Some of these players are getting paid more in 3 months than a doctor in A & E gets a year, the question we need to ask ourselfs, are we getting value for money? I don't think so.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No value for money at all and the manager and the players are cheating the supporters that made the journey up to the game. Cost me over £50 to go to game today and feel I was cheated out of £49. 99 of it

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Sep 2013 16:23:26
Asolutely dreadful, but what is worse is Ally blaming the conditions for this complete garbage.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

When are people going to realise that McCoist isn't good enough to take the club forward. Once again outplayed and hanging on against a part time team. Not one bit of football played today with too many players not fancying it and putting in sub standard performances.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is good enough to get up to the top tier. That is all the board require. if they are interested. He is going nowhere, just accept it. W e all have ideas of who we want in, but it is not going to happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 agreed but when we get back to the top league what then? Could be a lot more pain and the 9 in a row will probably be beaten.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2) there has to be entertainment and stylish football, value for money. Fans have put in 35m since the liquidation and reform. They don't deserve "all the board wants. " He should be replaced.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Sep 2013 16:23:55
Only Wallace gets pass marks today. A big concern is the manager's inability to change things around when not going well. People should get off Foster's case he was far from the worst. Peralta, Law Templeton, Daly and the centre backs were poor but Smith looks completely out of place in midfield. Lewis MacLeod sadly missed-just shows us all if your good enough age doesn't matter-it's ability and attitude that counts.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why did smith play? 2 LBs against forfar, little needs to play upfront or not at all, Clark scored 5 goals in 2 games for queen of the south against forfar last season including a hat Rick at station park and doesn't never see game time, I'm lost for words by ally now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Re 1) absolutely spot on

Agree0 Disagree0

Think Bell deserved pass marks as well but Foster was shocking. Offered nothing going forward and very poor in defence. He was however in good company. Think Black and McLeod need to come into midfield with McKay given a start in place of Smith. Would also drop Daly and try Clark

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Sep 2013 01:50:19
Only ally doesn't know that foster was shocking 3 yrs ago

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Sep 2013 16:18:42
Ally blaming the conditions? If he thinks that's a strong wind wait till Arbroath in the winter, what a terrible excuse from a useless manager, never mind the top league I don't think we will win division 1 next season under ally after watching queen of the south out play us.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Still unbeaten in the league we can't ask for anymore

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 supporters are entitled to better performances and the highly paid players being able to do the basics. Sadly very few managed that today and the passing and shooting from some players was woeful. We have a full time professional team struggling against part time players aren't you in the least concerned about that?

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Sep 2013 15:06:47
Last year was the season for the young players to come through. This year is the season to loan out or get rid of the young players on today's display the new players need to step up poor the last 2 games were down to Jig nothing else the manager needs to get the, on 8 hrs shifts not 2 hour training sessions then home.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No young players will make it under McCoist. My biggest fear is that he will ruin McKay and McLeod. He is to football tactics what Basil Fawlty is to hotel running.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 good analogy the only difference Basil was funny - but Ally's management is laughable

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Sep 2013 14:45:55
Drastic display today from the team, was disappointed with how we resorted back to the long ball game of last season, especially on such a windy day.

We should have had clark & mckay in from the start. Playing two lb's when we had 2 wingers on the bench made no sense at all. Also, with clark up top with little, we would have kept it on the deck more. Long balls into dods & andrews? Great decision. Last but not least, ricky foster. Rant over.

BlueNose.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Foster is woeful, Smith not much better. Midfield duo were totally over run again today similar to the QOS game. Never ever thought I would say this but Black should go straight back into the team on Saturday along with McKay

Agree0 Disagree0

We are missing Macleod big time.

Agree0 Disagree0

Peralta very poor today, thought the team really missed black and macleod today also don't think foster enhances our team any and would have persisted with mccausland in there. bt

Agree0 Disagree0

What is wrong with rangers is it lack of confidence in their own ability or is it because Ally has no self belief and its manifesting itself on the team. don't help when players are played out of position. I would like to see Ally take a chance stop being negative and just go for the jugular how will he ever learn or the team for that matter if we keep putting out a team to contain rather than attack, I would rather the opposition were worrying about how they are going to contain us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Stevie Smith still can't pass woefull he'd have trouble passing his own water but he's. one of the managers boys now so he'll get a game regardless and the young will get fed up and move on and trick Ricky Foster is as bad need to make changes because its mince pure mince.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Sep 2013 14:45:31
Capucho, ostenstad, Whitaker. Ricky foster is worse! One of the worst performances I have seen today. Cammy bell continued to punt the ball up the park regardless of the fact that it continued to set up a Forfar attack! C'mon Coisty get him told! The definition of insanity is when someone continues to do something eventhough they know it won't work! Says it all!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He was awful today poor going forward and shocking in defence. Why play Smith wide left when it's clear he can't play there. Marvin Andrews outstanding today best player on the park

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Sep 2013 14:27:09
80mins gone & Templeton still wants to tip toe & Dilly Dally. This young lad is just a passenger when it comes to the nitty gritty games. BIG BILL.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

22 Sep 2013 17:03:09
He made littles goal and also cleared off the line

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 come on, he done nothing, Darren dodds made little's goal and my 5 year old could've cleared that off the line.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 spot on mate he did 2 positive things today which is 2 more than the majority of the team. He has hardly played this season and deserves to be given a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 the way some of the players passed the ball today then Templetons pass to Little for the goal was a positive plus never known someone to be ridiculed for clearing the ball off the line. Would you rather he just let it go?

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Sep 2013 14:05:28
This isn't even conference level.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally disgraceful. Hanging on against part time players. No thought no imagination just luck. McCoist totally inept and should be shown the door for producing such rubbish. Foster, Smith and Daly performances were disgraceful with others in team not interested. Andrews best player on the park by miles. A 37 year old player considered not good enough for us. Total embarrassment today

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Sep 2013 13:34:06
I've just watched the first have of Forfar v. Rangers on ssn 3. I can't believe McCoist can remain manager for much longer. £1 million per year? The man has no tactical skill. Away against Forfar and playing one out and out striker up front in Daly. The team looks edgy and although they are 1-0 up, didn't deserve the goal. Only Law and Wallace looked anything like Rangers material. Why is McCoist playing Stevie Smith in midfield? Why did he sign him in the first place? Get Nicky Clarke on alongside Daly and bring on Barry McKay for Smith. Really disappointing performance.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Are you seriously saying Nicky law is having a good game?

Agree0 Disagree0

This is woeful. Marvin Andrews strolling through the game. Law slightly less than anonymous and why is Smith playing left midfield. More baffling stuff from the inept one

Agree0 Disagree0

Back to last seasons standard. Hopefully just a blip and we get the win. Letting Forfar dictate, not a good idea.

Agree0 Disagree0

Since Law has officially signed he has been terrible. Daly just looks like a big lump of wood and not sure who was worse Foster or Smith? No wonder Ally is looking for another centre half as neither of our 2 could cope with the high ball. Utter rubbish served up today very lucky to get the points.

Agree0 Disagree0

To be honest, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a Rangers game. McCoist won't do. He's had good players, bad players and now mediocre players. The football has been non-existent, the tactics the same. I know we are top of the league, but I like most punters ccalled who should be subbed half an hour before he did. Wouldn't have grudged Big Marv an equaliser.

Whats all this Timmy conspiracy crap about Celtic fans wanting Ally out. ? when are you going to realise the only people wanting Ally to go are Rangers fans the " wee green mob" as you call them want Ally on the 25 year contract that was promised Ally is the best thing ever to happen for Celtic fans. johnnyG.
oh and as for the betting on Celtic to lose all CL games the green mob are eternally grateful for your clubs signing policy with paying large wages for spfl quality players against part timers as it is a banker for a host of bets on Rangers to win these games and make money. not great odds I grant you but a win off the bookies is always welcome. ( not the cup games though) that would be just silly.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Rangers minus 1 goal / 2 goals has won me a small fortune this year. Same will apply again today Rangers to win away to Forfar minus 1 is 4/7 and minus 2 is 7/5. Its easy money. The bookies clearly feel McCoist will sooner or later somehow manage to pick a team or make the substitutes that will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I personally can't see it. Revenge today by 3 or 4 goals.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is gers fans who want rid the team is out and we can see the kids disappearing, he is now also saying he will need millions to catch Celtic. The man is clueless, if he gave the kids a chance with some old heads working up through the leagues he would save millions, in wages and trans fees (when we get to the SPL) but his head is either up his backside or in cloud cuckoo land. We are taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut, because he is tactically niave, on Tues he had to go back to 4 5 1 as the team were getting passed of the park by QOS again

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 I take it you lost a small fortune last season then?

Agree0 Disagree0

The time for winning bets is approaching. The rangers will drop points between Nov and Feb. It's just picking the games. The other teams are starting to find the weaknesses. All the coaches will have spotted some today. I'd look for matches away to top half teams and home to top third when odds are above 4-1. Bet celtic or another good team at home to win and half of that against the rangers to lose to hedge. When the inevitable happens you'll get a return. Another one is a cup draw against a premiership team, odds will be skewed due to high numbers of bets on your team.
The prophet.
