Aluko has agreed terms tonight with Rangers, just Aberdeens involvement but that looks like going to SPL tribunal. He will probably be in the squad for Sunday. You never know might come into the team and do a job or it might no work but hey ho it's worth try, good luck to him. Blue4ever

I hate bringing down one of our players i really do but week after week i sit there and watch EDU having a so so game.
he is always 2nd to the ball and when he does gets the ball he stuggles to get a pass away and when i watch him i feel he just is not intrested and i will him on every week but just cant see him improving does any1 else see this

Believable6 Unbelievable3

Edu is rubbish had more chances than anyone at ibrox he's oyne of the main reasons davis ain't playing Gd, when Davis first came we had a midfield of fergie, mendes, thomson now he has edu no wonder the guy isnt looking as Gd as he used to. To the people who slag David imagine what we would have without him. Nothing

Agree4 Disagree4

I agree on Edu, but Davis not playing well due to Edu... Come on. Davis needs to have a good look at himself also. He is a decent player but not as good as most people think. He drifts in and out of games and sometimes does not show up at all. His passing is also very poor for the role we are playing him in, as is his floated freekicks that we never score from or look like scoring from.

GB...

Agree2 Disagree0

I agree that both edu an Davis is poor this year people keep sayin to me that edu breaks up play but when he does he gives it away he has played 101 games or something and a think he played just ok for 10 or so not good enuff hope we sell him to auxerre or whatever for a few million a think Kyle Hutton will be a 1st choice when he returns from loan heard he is playing well and he is a good player.

Agree0 Disagree0

Davis is overrated. he could not make it down south. comes up here and the press fall in love with him and suddenly hes a superstar.

2 The Fifer on morris yes st johnstone couldn't score last season that is because their stikers were pish they have strikers scoring this season sandaza & sheridan, but on 2 davis I am not suggesting playing any1 in front of him as we don't have great options my point is, if this were edu or mcculloch playing like this they would get pelters from the fans, but davis gets away with it all the time, davis needs 2 get his finger oot his arse & make things happen thats what good players do like barry ferguson as I say this is not over a couple of games he played well against the beggars, but tell me another game he has played well this season maybe the pars game not bad eh 2 games in about 20, sorry for getting back so late a work nightshift
NTYABOW

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Orite bud, sorry been out as well. I kind of agree and disagree wi u... Regards Morris, exactly having sandaza @ Sheridan makes all the difference, Davis used to have Ferguson, mendes, even diouf could hold the ball up n bring Davis in2 play much further up the park where he is much more effective. Havin wee Weiss, Miller etc helped him now Davis doesn't have the same quality around him it's a struggle. Morris couldn't do it on his own last season n now Davis is struggling.... BUT... I totally agree good player, RANGERS players n especially RANGERS CAPTAIN! need to give n create more n at least put in a fuc#in challenge. Wot u reckon? Am I right to agree and not?

Aluko scored in 3-1 win and Fleck got a brace

Bad news is Ness went off in first half.

Bazza Bear

Believable0 Unbelievable2

As much as Ness is a good player don't think he's going make it st gers way to many injuries

Agree2 Disagree3

Is that the goal to "seal the deal " ? It looks like we will have another option up front Bears, I hope this is not a mistake tho'..... 4 in a row

Agree0 Disagree0

Everyones sayin Aluko got a goal so give him a game. Fleck got 2 so why not actually play him?

Agree4 Disagree1

FFS some people get easy excited on here he scores a goal in a bounce game against mighty st mirren and u want to offer him a contract

Agree4 Disagree2

Fleck got a brace! Were there hamburgers for bonuses or has Fleck found his level in the reserves?

He has had more chances in the first team than I care to think about. Perhaps it is time to rent him out to a 1st div club.

GB

Agree0 Disagree1

Fleck has only had 1 run of games in team and thats when he first came into the spotlight. He has captained our reserve team games (friendlies) and that is when Weir has been playing also, so he must be maturing. I think he deserves a chance and I personally hope he is in the starting line up come Sunday just behind the strikers.

Guys, I think Whyte is smarter than people are giving him credit for. I honestly don't think we will end up owing anyway near the 49million quoted. I don't think the rumours that a deal has been offered to hmrc are that wide of the mark. I may be mistaking here but at he beginning of Whyte's takeover was he not prepared to pay money for the club, I think it was between 8-10 million? Yet Murray sold it for £1, Ask your self this did Whyte take so long on his due diligence because he was looking into the tax case and knew an offer of between 8-10 million be accepted by them? and Told Murray this and simply was not prepared to pay between 16-20million for the club AND take on the debt. Would he really spent close to 6million in pre season, upgrade the screens at Ibrox and do work on Murray Park if he knew the worst was going to happen? I just don't see it

Just wondered do you think Bocanegra could do a Davie Weir and play till 40 because the guy is quality.

Maybe not as good in the air as some of our recent centre backs but he is the most composed on the ball centre back we have had in a number of seasons.

Bougherra was reckless at times while Cuellar, Weir and Bartley lack pace and technincal ability.

Believable3 Unbelievable7

Hope not. last thing we need is another pensioner in defence. 41 year old captain was embarrassing.

Agree2 Disagree7

Dont take the mick out of weir he has done his fair share over his time at rangers and last season worked better than a lot of the players, a solid rock of a player who as been loyal to the last game. bit of respect for the big man

Agree9 Disagree2

Cuellar and Bartley lack pace and Bartley doesn't have technical ability. You must be watching different games to the one's i do mate. And as for whoever said Weir is an embarrassment, its whoever posted such ridiculous nonsense thats the embarrassment. Weir's a legend, only wish there was more like him in the game.

Gerry The Ger.

Agree8 Disagree1

Why was it embarrassing to have a forty-one year old captain? If you are good enough, then you are good enough doesn't matter what age you are. He is still Scotland's best centre back.

GovanFR

Agree7 Disagree1

What planet are you on Gerry the Ger. I can assure you Cuellar and Weir lacked pace.

Agree1 Disagree5

Obviously a different one from you ya clackerback. Did i say anything about Weir lacking pace? No. Did Cuellar lack pace? Did he buggery. And next time leave a name on your post or are you too scared to out yourself as being stupid?

Bears, I posted yesterday about legal firm taking Rangers to court over unpaid bill of £3000, some other poster then gave you a breakdown of the UK rich list of people with wealth of over £20m, Mr Whyte was NOT on this list. Given that all the press, all you bears and even Whyte himself has played on this "billionaire" tag are you not worried over this.
My rangers supporting buddies tell me that Whyte seems to have adopted a policy of paying EVERY bill late. If this is the case this sounds like a business struggling with it's cash flow.Don't you realise what this stategy is doing to your club, it is damaging your reputation, and letting Tims like me have a laugh at your "Billionaire" and his cash (or lack of it)
Bears I think you have another Walter in charge of Rangers, only this Walter is Mitty. hail hail Timalloy

Believable7 Unbelievable7

1.nobody said mr whyte was a billionaire.
2.reason nobody knows his wealth is because he chooses not to divulge such information because he is a private man .it has hee haw to do with you me ,newspapers media how much the guy has got . you sit there and slag the guy but he has built up businesses since he was a young guy at school and amast a fortune for himself .so you guy must be a fool eh ..stick to worrying about your own team and stop being obssessed by the CHAMPIONS ......bigt

Agree5 Disagree7

Not half as funny as lagging 10 points behind in the league and not won it for 3 seasons.

Billyboy1

Agree6 Disagree0

Total garbage Big T. It is easy to find out about anyone's finances through their company records. You don't honestly think guys like Abromivich or even dizzy desmond at sceptic phones up the sunday times and tells them how much they is worth do you?Tax records and companies profits are used to determine this. And before you start with all this i must be a timothy carp.Ive been a rangers season ticket holder for 15 years,I got my first season book for my 16th birthday.Stop burying your head in the sand mate and face facts {Ed014's Note - There are ways and means of finding out the information. What they are though I don't know sorry.I would say the lists will be pretty accurate though.

Agree8 Disagree0

2 words: ten points.

Agree3 Disagree1

You can look though craig whytes companies online and most of them are dissolved or in liquidation. apart from his castle he doesnt seem to have many assets. i would be surprised if hes worth any more than 30-50 million. maybe not even that much.

Agree6 Disagree0

No Timalloy, he just pays Murray's bills late

Agree1 Disagree4

2 words: Craig who ?

The guy is smart yes. That smart that if it all goes boo boo he doesn't lose a penny. It's really a win-win for him. End of the day no one wanted to buy rangers. He did, if it goes great he's a legend if it goes toilet then he's still a millionaire ?

Think about it ? If you were him it's a totally win win? As for the doesn't want people to know his wealth, well I'm sure if your a football player or someone famous etc then you don't want to be on the public eye all the time do you ? That's when stories come out, people dig deep into your past & 9 times out of 10 it's never good, hence why he never goes public about anything.

Honestly wake up & smell the coffee & come out of dream land

Lenny

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Exactly. with inverness!! He's found his level. looks a decent player in a decent side. would be like a fish out of water in the rangers midfield. id be gobsmacked if we even came close to signing rhodes.j1985

Agree3 Disagree0

Ness & Hutton are better.

Agree1 Disagree1

Jordan rhodes is not coming to rangers. we cant settle a 3000 tax bill. we have no money to spend on loans or signings.

Believable6 Unbelievable5

It did help that rangers played with 50 men behind the ball and didnt try and attack or score in the most boring rangers team there ever was or will be.

Agree3 Disagree1

50 men behind the ball, are we allowed 50 on the pitch? Or is it a conspiracy that Rangers got there?

22 Nov 2011 08:56:22
If I were rangers and Celtic I would be asking for a bigger slice a that £ 80 million after all wouldn't even get that kind a deal if the old firm are no in the spl and asking for reassurance that they get 4 old firm games a season come on rangers and Celtic unite in this one.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

That's right make the other teams even weaker, if it wasn't for the other teams u wouldn't get the other 56 games a season

Agree2 Disagree3

As much as i love rangers, i'd be happy to let the other clubs take a larger share (in a year or so once we're looking a bit sharper, money wise). For the good of scottish football is has to be done - its an investment. Muzz

Agree0 Disagree1

22 Nov 2011 08:12:16
The new Sky/ ESPN deal kicks in next season and is reported to be worth £80 million. Now written into this new deal is the guarantee of 4 old firm games per season for the duration of the FIVE YEAR DEAL. Given this deal is signed sealed and ready to be delivered, would Sky sanction this? would the SPL agree this ? would espn get involved in this ? would all the clubs agree to this ?............. if there was even a remote possibility that there may be a Rangers going into administration ?,or going out the game ? This strongly suggests to me that there is no way that Rangers will have to pay any more than a few million as penalty, otherwise the deal would be nul and void, and therefore, dead in the water and the whole scottish game would be royally F*****D !!! yes? no ? 4 in a row

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Don't think this makes a blind bit of difference what do sky know about rangers tax case think ur clutching at straws pal

Agree4 Disagree3

They may as you say know nothing, but the deal includes Rangers and 4 o/f games, so the deal would be worthless and a broadcaster the size of sky are not going to take chances with £ 80million, without some assurances, especially with all the well documented mhedia surrounding the tax case. It would be a total waste of sky's investment, that is all I am saying PAL, so I am not clutching at anything, PAL................ 4 in a row, Mind the gap, and turn the lights off on yer way out, timothy, cheers. {Ed014's Note - Even if Rangers went into administration there would still be a club to play the games. There is no connection what so ever between the TV deal and Rangers tax cases.None.

Agree2 Disagree0

Ed, the point I'm making is that there is no deal, if there is no Rangers, it's not rocket science.... the deal would be worthless, simple as that ! {Ed014's Note - But there will always be a Gers. They will not go into liquidation and even IF they go into administration and are deducted points I doubt they would get relegated. The TV has nothing to do with Rangers tax cases.Nobody knows the outcome of them and the negotiating process with Sky and ESPN will have been going on for months. You are saying becuse of this new TV deal it suggests Rangers will only have to have to pay a few million, that is not the case, there is no connection between the two.

Agree0 Disagree1

Fair point ed, but I hope I'm right and you are wrong Lol, I've had a long N/S, so I'll bid you goodnight and you take it easy. Rangers 'til I die {Ed014's Note - Sleep well.

Agree0 Disagree0

Read the deal...It is void if there aren't 4 OF games each season.Doncaster had to give this concession...Void even if Rangers were deduced 10 points NEXT seaon and finished out of top 6 as would then only be 3 OF games...Pressure on all clubs to accept small penalty for Rangers financial irregularities...Clever of SPL..unfair on smaller clubs like Gretna/Livingston who got hammered though.

Agree0 Disagree2

To the person above.Post a link where it says anything like that? The deal says that there must be Old Firm 'involvement'.Probably means that Rangers have gave guarantees that they will not go into liquidation, administration is still a distinct possibility.Honestly sometimes some of you lot give the rest of us REAL fans a bad name. You can't just make stuff up sonny to suit yourself.Stop posting utter BS and face the facts that are in front of us,nobody knows what is going to happen with the tax case NOBODY!!If we win then all is well if we lose we will probably need to go into administration. That is the REALITY sonny.Nowhere in the details of the deal that have been released are 4 OF games guaranteed. That is impossible to do,or are you saying the league needs to be fixed to make sure Sky get their final OF game?Get a grip sonny and GROW UP
