Wallace not playing is politics within at a higher level than gerrard. he should be our left back because HE IS A LEFT BACK. Flanagan is right footed and clumsy in the tackle because of that. halliday, although plays for the jersey, is not a left back in fact, I don't even know what he is tbh. barisic is a joke end of story. oh how I wish ERIC CALDOW would come back from the grave in his mid twenties-he did cumnock, rangers and Scotland proud.

People come on here every now and then and show some support to Lee, but none know exactly what happened in that dressing room with another employee in Graeme Murty.
If he had accepted his fine and made a full apology to Rangers and Murty - even if it was through gritted teeth. He would have been back playing. But he didn’t he took Rangers (his employers) to task, appealing the fine and won! In what other industry would that go down well?
It looks as though the fud followed Kenny Millers lead, a player who’s contract was up and had nothing to lose! Wallace in the other hand has lost a year of his career plus bonuses!
Whether what happened was right or wrong, he was extremely nieve!

Jyf, I just live in the real world mate. You can’t take your employer to a tribunal win and expect things to go back to normal.
Lee and the players union were extremely nieve to think this would end well. The players union should have advised him to just pay the fine.
If you refuse then you need to be a special player or prepared to leave.

Like i said on here weeks ago, we're letting go the best left back currently at ibrox. Lee wallace imo, is still easily the best left back we have. Our board have treated our former captain terribly. However lee surely knows what us gers supporters think of him and its very highly.

I have plenty of heart but I wouldn't get a game ahead of barasic, both flanagan and halliday are better than wallace. I read an article today that some fans have a petition for a testimonial for wallace, why? Because he was here for 7 year? Into the bargain halliday and flanagan, ain't left backs and god only knows what barisic is, up 'till now! Its nothing about the 7 or 8 years waldo has been at ibrox, he's a better left back than both, in my eyes anyway! Barisic has been an absolute joke and let down so far! I stand to be corrected, as there's undoubtedly a talent there but he needs to give so much more, to play with the famous i'm afraid.

My mother would occasionally leave the window cleaner’s money on the on the window sill of the upstairs window. She suspected he often would not clean that window although would always charge for it. Always loved it when he came around on a Friday to collect his money, only to receive a rollocking from her and told he better get his ladder if he wants paid. For the record it wouldn't be hard to catch him out. No honour there. The reason i changed username was because for some reason it wouldn't let me log back in, under my original username. I really wanted to like Barisic, thought he had a wicked left foot on him and was a Croatian international to boot. Surely our league can't be too physical or tough or fast or whatever, there must be more to it. I'm sure he has what it takes to go to a really high level within the game but it's obviously not going to be with us by the looks of it.

Gayle and Rondons loans have ended so they're both back at parent clubs although I agree gayle probably isn't in Newcastles plans. He would be a good signing, he reminds me a little of defoe. Wouldn't happen however, he would still get plenty of game time at a lower prem/ upper championship team which is sadly a higher standard that he'd see up here.

Big summer ahead of us, what does everyone think we need? I think left back, centre back, RYAN KENT and a striker. One player doesn't make a team but i think having kent in the team we look a different team, so def want him back.
I think there will be quite a few players leaving lafferty, grezda, asmuch as i think there is a player in barasic he's been really disappointing needs wrapped in cotton wool he's a wimp. Dorrans, asmuch as he's a good player he's not kicked a ball in i can't remember how long and can't see him challenging jack, kamara arfield. And would rather see rossiter and docherty challenging them for a place the two of them have played good down south. Centre mid we have a lot of options.
Morelos, i think we will be lucky to get 10 million for him. If it wasnt for all the red cards he might be worth 15-20 million. he's not getting called up to colombia due to the fact they can't rely on him. So that's going to put teams of paying that amount of cash!
We need 4 quality players in to compete next season.

I agree with candeias game time being limited, gerrard changed the formation so we wasnt really playing with wingers and it was more through the middle and it worked.

I think jones will be good for us. Very similar to kent imo. Final ball lacking a lot of the time tho. but kent and candieas are exactly the same. When he's played us or the tims he's gave the defender a terrible time of it.

If Fod leaves we will need a GK. A couple of CB’s, one for the squad and one for the starting 11. Although I think Katic has a lot of potential, he still has a bit to go before he is the finished article. Would like to see him getting more games than this year but don’t think he is up to 60 games yet. We need an upgrade on Candeias, although I though Arfield played that position really well against Celtic. He didn’t hug the touch line which meant he couldn’t link up with Tav as well but he did play more central which means he can directly influence the game more. Also would like to see Middleton try that position a few games, think he could be deadly cutting onto his left foot. Finally if Morelos goes which I can’t see happening as I don’t think anyone will mast him our demands, but if he does then another 1st choice striker. I know we have Defoe but doubt he will manage even 40 games next year.

Alf made his hundred career goals last week, and he did it faster than any other player. He will screw the nut eventually and be one of the top strikers around. Time to ring fence or only sell if we can get BIG bucks and a sell on fee, and have a new replacement to improve and again sell on.

Gannet10 tbh I have think goldson has been poor most of the season as well and has really only came onto a game beside big Katic. However Katic atm seems to need a bit of mentoring to improve his positional play. I see him getting caught out of position too often, also getting too close enabling forwards to roll him easily.
For those reasons I would like to bring in a more experienced CB to bolster the defence and also to help develop Katic.
If we make Katic first choice CB, yes I think he will turn out to be a first class defender but I also think he will cost us a lot of goals in the process and would like to lessen that if possible.

Bears all the rumours and stories surrounding Kent take with a pinch of salt he has a 3 year contract still at Liverpool who have him available for transfer at a fee of 12.5 million plus additional resale clauses providing within 3 years he is of interest to any club they Liverpool will legally have the ruling of Kent's future
Gerrard is trying his best and using his powers to strike a deal between clubs that will not only benefit the future of the player but benefit both youth set ups, this Bears is a difficult deal to complete as realistically Kent is injured under our (Rangers) performance enhanced agreed contract then we simply will be legally liable for any fees which would and will be of great value.

Nothing annoys me more than people who claim to know players wages or state the website transfer market values a player at x amount or there was a night with an ex player and they said blah😂. I do like a good rumour but when people state numbers as facts its quite cringey. Whether you work as a waiter at the club or you know a guy who coaches u15s at another club is neither here nor there. Your statement is absurd. Comeback at the end of the summer window and we will see if I was right or wrong to presume. I guarentee you that I was right to presume. IBROX STADIUM EXPANSION
What are the chances of Ibrox increasing size? I believe we are near 98% full. every second week Biggest in Scotland where we also have a ticket waiting list of around 12,000-15,000.
Would this not call for an expansion and can all fans not chuck in some funding towards it?
We can even buy Rangers coupons and others to help cover fundings
Personally I would love to see the big TVs increased in size and perhaps sitting on the roofs of both the Broomloan and Copland stands to fill the corners in line with the stands and have the Govan with sn extra tier perhaps like the Club Deck on the Bill Struth Stand

Only way to increase size relatively easily is rid screens which tbh offer nothing in added capacity. Rid screens offer opportunity to give 360 degree seating/ stands giving capacity another 10k. Also another tier in centenary stand option.

You can’t put seats in the corner. Their is supporting steel work in behind the screens. I believe another tier on the Sandy Jardine Stand would be the only way to mirror the Bill Struth Main Stand.

I have said the same on here a few times now L17, you are right the support structure is the reason the screens are there, its very similar to tynecastle there is a steal frame like a goal post if you like that goes over and down the sides of the stands. An extra tier on the govan stand would probably be the best option👍.

Kaz, I sit in BF5 and in my opinion our stadium is not 98% full every other week. I had 4 empty seats around me at the last old firm game.
I think we could expand the stadium size but, 1 thing that Rangers should do is make it easier for people to re-sell their seats. It costs a lot of money to phone that useless hotline number so I just try to give my ticket to friends when I can't make it to games.
I would contribute to a fund raising scheme if they wanted to do it although i'd prefer a safe standing section which would also increase the capacity.

Cannot take screens out and fill in corner with seats as said above. Back in the 90s we had a season ticket waiting list of atleast 13k also and we have done fine. Another 1 tier on the govan (sj stand) would be only thing we could do. and that would be more than enough.

There has been discussions about dropping the pitch and adding more seating that way. Not sure how feasible that is but that’s what I was told was being looked at as an option.
