First post here guys, been a fan of the site for years, just got to say for all that Edmundson and Aribo aren't household names I'd just like to salute them both and welcome them to the greatest club in the world. These guys had offers from other clubs and they chose to come to the Rangers, says a lot for them both and for our club. Onwards and upwards guys.

Would love to see him play for us, but it would need to be on a very reduced rate and pay as you play with landmark scoring bonuses to make up the lack of wages imho. The guy has the ability to cause chaos against defences and bag loads of goals, but unfortunately he also has a medical file the size of the Govan Health Centres GP practice. Similar guy would be Sturridge in every aspect too.

As someone who is also a fan of arsenal I agree that welbeck is dreadful. He's a great athlete when fit but he is technically very poor. The number of times I've seen him miss the ball when trying to shoot is alarming. The suggestion that he'd score a bag load of goals here is ridiculous to me.

I know welbeck has had his injury problems but he has scored goals at the very highest level. Did he not play at last years world cup? I think the very suggestion that he wouldn't be decent at this level or that shankland would be a better option than him is absurd. Most want rossiter to be given a chance after his nightmare of injuries but the very thought of welbeck getting a chance is shot down.

Welbeck is worth about 15m that's more then most playing here in our league . Welbeck would be a standout up here. shankland is worth a two yr deal all day long.

So we’ve managed to sign one of the hottest Scottish prospect in Jake Hastie for free. We’ve also signed the hottest prospects in League 1 and 2 (Aribo and Edmundson) for approx £1m.

If we get Josh McPake signed up on a long term deal he can be added to that list. McPake is the cream of our current crop and personally I think he’s better than the ones uv mentioned. I expect him to break through this year.

Read a few posts on here saying we need another striker which I agree with to a point. What's the thoughts on if we do buy a new striker. Do we go down the Morelos model buy cheap and invest for the future or more proven experienced. We're bound to have a transfer budget for an ok striker as we've only spent £650k. Or is it youth as backup?

Starting to get annoyed with peoole who are saying that james tavernier is only worth 10million, but keiran tierney is worth 25 to 30 million. Arsenal put a supposed bid of 15 million in for him, but was laughed of. to me he isn't worth more than that. He is a good player in scotland, but for me, has done nothing in Europe for celtic and nothing for the national team either. I don't know where celtic pluck there valuations from, but they have to get a grip on reality. liverpool signed Andy Robertson from Hull for 10 million, and he had proved himself in the premier league, for me 15million is fair for Tierney and probably for Tav aswell, who in my opinion, offers a lot more in a game. Am i wrong, what does everybody else think?

In the end they will be worth what some one pays for both Tierney and Tav. My view is Tav £3-4m and Tierney £10m because the play in Scotland.

Due to the unrealistic fees placed on both players both will be playing in Scotland next season, although some of your fans think we should be selling Tav to Man U for £15m too much champ man I think!

Reason tierney valued a lot higher. Is due to being and international, several campaigns in champions league, not to mention winning every domestic trophy going for 3 seasons straight. Same goes for Ntcham l, mcgregor etc if we want our squad and player valuations to go up then we must start winning leagues and cups. Simple as that.

I'm in total agreement with Laudrup no1 here regarding his post on the valuations of our captain james tavernier and their left back kieran tierney. I truly do think that celtic will get north of £15million for tierney. This brings me to the valuation our club should put on tav, as stats wise he outshines tierney in most departments, FACT!
Rangers should put a valuation of at least £10-£12million on tav's head for any interested club, wishing to buy him. Simple as that! Make these teams from richer leagues, that try and penny pinch our players, pay through the nose for our possible loss of our captain.

I'm a big fan of Tierney, any of you who are daft enough to read my posts will know, I think Tav. is great possibly the best player in the SPL. Tierney is still young and should improve significantly, Tav. is at his peak I think the valuations are about right. What I don't get is the £25m tag on McGregor? Celtic are delusional.

I would think the lure of the famous and working under Gerrard will tip the balance for us so fingers xd
Just as a side note if Laff departs then unless SG gives rudden or hardie a go (which I doubt) we need another quality striker.

trev - from what I saw and read about Aribo he is an excellent CM. The type that I like the most, a CM that breaks up play, can drive with the ball, make a telling pass and score goals - what more can you ask for? It would seem that Lee Bowyer would have him go anywhere but Rangers - is he a closet tim? Just hope he hasn't turned his head - he had his heart set on going to Rangers - do hope that is still the case.
We definitely need another striker. Would love to see McBurnie come up, and tbh so would McBurnie - you never know.
I just hope that if Morelos stays he screws the nut. The best way to get back at those who kick you and wind you up is to score against them and beat them. SG and Allen will be searching high and low, but maybe the striker is already here in Zak Rudden.

Hey guys! Not meaning this to be negative at all I can’t wait for the new season to start! But can’t help the players we are looking at and bringing in are not Rangers standard or gong to improve us.? I mean we went from Arfield, McGregor, Davis and Defoe to going for Steward who’s record isn’t that great, a young defender who hasn’t actually played for Oldham in Edmundson a Liverpool Loanee in Ojo who I have never here of before then apparently Aribo from charlton who I have heard could of be on 20k a wee WTF really? Plays for charlton is he worth paying 20k a week think it’s a big gamble and there is better players out there we could be getting in just my opinion. I hope they prove me all wrong next season and have a stand out season******.

Just watched a YouTube video of Aribo he certainly looks the business think he has a great career ahead of him.
