Just watched Stevie G's latest press conference which he handled as well as he usually does. What concerns me was when he was asked about Pena. Stevie made it clear he is not training with the squad and that he doesn't want him and that he was unaware of any moves to get rid. I appreciate Stevie can be cute with the media when he wants but surely more than a shrug of the shoulders is required. Herrera seems to have found a bit of form in Mexico so maybe we can offload him. Maybe Pena is in a such a bad state he can't even train otherwise shouldn't we get him in to train with the youngsters (or on his own if he's seen as a bad example) so he can get fit and playing for somebody (anybody! ) else in the hope we can get shut. I know that was tried and failed disastrously in Mexico but surely we've got to do something. As it is he's an enormous waste of money and will continue to be for the next 18 months. Looks like we want to pretend he doesn't exist which is a criminal waste of £1.8 million (his estimated wages to the end of his contract) . I know people would probably much rather concentrate on the players that are doing a job for us but we all know that money could be much better spent elsewhere in the club. What do others think?

Hello ed Sent a reply to Dunfermline Loyal about Herrera accepting that I got his contract end date wrong but have checked and frustrated blue is right so hopefully he'll carry on doing well at Necaxa and they 'll buy him. If gees a dodo that is right about Pena maybe there's nothing can be done about him right now.

According to the record Herrera is contracted to 2021. They done a story the other day about all the players contracts.

Morning Bears. Daily Rag reporting today that Nice might make an £8 million bid for Morelos. Thoughts? Personally, I now think we need him to stay for the rest of the season to spearhead our push for the title.

£8 million, not a chance. That's what annoys me with English and European teams, thinking they can bid peanuts for players in Scotland. If Dembele can go for £18 million, why can't morelos?

Nobody in football outside of Rangers fans thinks Morelos is worth as much as Dembele, you'll see that reflected in the market price.
It's like us saying if Mbappe can go for 150 million why can't dembele? Because no one will pay it, that's why.

It’s quite sad isleogreen that you would even care who went for what. Fortunately our board are not about protecting their own bonuses via a black balance sheet so there is no pressure to sell Morelos, when he goes I expect it to be £10-£15m so you can sleep easy knowing that you got more than that for Dembele however Morelos has contributed more for us than Dembele ever did for Celtic and that’s what matters to real fans. Hopefully he’ll be here for the run in and can bang in another 15 goals en route!

James2018, I'd walk over hot coals #55 times if we won the league this year.
But reality is, money talks, if a REAL bid comes in for Buffalo, with no pissing about under 10 mill, then Rangers (not SG) Will consider it.
Therefore it would be ' a goer'

1) No chance he’ll be sold this window, he’ll go in the summer.
2) 8 million is a joke offer, we turned that down a year ago and he’s twice the player now. Gerrard and Allen have stated many times that players will no longer be allowed to be sold on the cheap.
