22 Jan 2016 22:27:28
I have heard from a good source that we are about to sign nobo dy from fc donte xist. Good all-round player, will do well in the current set up.

22 Jan 2016 23:16:35
Even if Nobody was available I doubt that King would have the wherewithal to pay the fee. The £30 million appears to be moonbeams that he must have secured from his pal David Murray.

22 Jan 2016 23:29:08
Your up a bit late for your age son. Does your ma and da know you're fartin about on a laptop at this hour?

22 Jan 2016 23:39:04
Just trying to lighten the mood sounezz. All this talk about this person is going to sign tomorrow, that person is signing the day after that has become a bit boring. I mean even going as desperate as kevin Thomson. Where is Alaska and the spot on rumours he/ she delivered in the summer.

22 Jan 2016 23:53:20
Albertz he sounds good.

23 Jan 2016 10:58:37
It is interesting that the only people going on about transfers are some of the laptop warriors and the Daily Record -same transfer story for us for the last 8 days -count 'em.
MW and the board are not saying much perhaps because wasting money is not high on their agenda.

22 Jan 2016 22:26:33
I think if ohalloran plays Saturday then deal is off, if he disni play then it's obvious we sign him Monday, either way I'm no that fussed aw this pish speculation is a joke, yeah there are better players out there so why the hoo haa, remember it's the media driving this at no time have the gers said anything. You have to blame st Johnstone for blabbing so wtf are they so upset it wis them that keep it aw goin.

22 Jan 2016 23:19:52
It is a defensive midfield player that we really need but I am dubious that we will actually see anyone of any quality arrive this transfer window.

I just hope that the Board have been honest with Warburton because the way it's looking right now King was just full of hot air with his £30 million to spend.

While we should be good enough to win promotion this season we are still well short of a team to win the Premier League and that will continue to be the case unless Mr Warburton and his New Scouting System can bring in a few quality players on the cheap.

23 Jan 2016 00:45:32
I don't blame St Johnstone. Their Chairman presumably has a price that is the minimum he will accept. If Mr Warburton does not consider that to be good value for money then we move on and in any event I am sure that there are a number of other prospect that Warburton has in his target list.

My concern is that King is full of bullshit just like Murray and the £30m is like Murray's moonbeams.

Perhaps the past few years has turned a lot of us into cynics but until we see a couple of much needed quality arrivals to bolster the team for the run-in and our assault on the SPL next season that concern will inevitably remain.

23 Jan 2016 01:22:05
I am glad Warbuton won't be held to ransom, obviously Warbs has a valuation of the player and SJ wanted more, Warbs decided that was too much and moved on, It will show teams in future we won't be paying over the odds for average players.

In Warbuton we trust.

23 Jan 2016 05:56:19
£100k isn't holding rangers to ransom, it's a lowball offer designed to unsettle the player. Look at some of celtics bids recently. Scott Allan, 1 year left on contract £4-500k. GMS, £250k for last 6 months of contract. £500k for a player with 18 months left is a respectable amount. I don't believe the gers have the money to bid that high, which is slightly worrying.

22 Jan 2016 21:31:49
Just can't understand all this panic that we didn't pay over the odds for diagouraga, we have more than enough just now to win this league without question, trust our manager, I myself would have liked diagouraga but it wasn't to be, the time for spending a bit is for when we go up next season, in my honest opinion even if we don't sign another player in this transfer window it wouldn't perturbe me in the least for the rest of this season, we are the best team in the championship and will prove it, keep the faith in our fantastic manager and team fellow bears as we will prevail!

22 Jan 2016 21:38:27
I thought you told us all a week ago OH was in the bag 500k starting to look nonsense eh. Starting to look like we don't have anything like that figure. We don't have enough to increase our offer which apparently was around the 200k.

22 Jan 2016 22:20:15
we will go up this season as champions I have no doubt about that
diagouraga would have been a terrific signing for us and he went for a fair fee to for the standard of player he is plus would have allowed us to push halliday forward where he is more effective
am a bit disappointed on losing out on this player but so be it I trust manager and his staff no problem just wish board had got this transfer done sooner for the manager the summer window will give us a good indication if our manager is getting backed by the board hopefully all comes good in the summer.

22 Jan 2016 22:34:03
The doc, I told you nothing of the sort that o'halloran was in the bag for 500k, I told you and everyone else on here that mark warburton has been keen on signing o'halloran for around 3 months now and I did state in one of my most recent posts that its the two clubs who are holding the deal up not the player and his agent who have agreed the wages and duration of the contract, honestly mate try reading and understanding the posts before you come on here spouting things that are untrue.

22 Jan 2016 23:22:26
Look back mate. 500k in the bag next few days. Like it was a done deal that was over a week ago and to sum up it didn't happen, won't happen, was never happening. We have somehow became a joke. Why offer way below market value and then state we won't be held to ransom. Its an insult to the players, the teams they play for and us the enduring fans. Stop presenting posts in a manner which mislead.

23 Jan 2016 01:24:33
Warbs15, never actually stated it was in the bag, he was 1 of the first to mention we registered an interest in O'Halloran which proved to be true.

23 Jan 2016 03:38:35
Its not panic that we have not paid over the odds for the guy that Warburton wanted and Leeds signed, it is the blind support that King has just because he talks a good game and replaced the cowboys that were here before.

He is as full of bull as Murray and some of the others with his promises of £30m spends etc., when, to date, the only guys putting their hands in their pockets are the other guys on the Board.

We need a quality defensive midfield player for this season and we need at least three quality players in the summer to support our attack on the SPL.

While the SPL is not that strong we can expect Celtic to target new players in the summer and Warburton will need more quality than we currently have right now since, other than the first eleven and a couple of young players we are a long way short of a quality side that can win the SPL and compete in Europe.

23 Jan 2016 07:44:49
Thanks scottyGDF, at least you and many others of course actually read my post, somehow the doc didn't read it properly and cheers again scotty for pointing out that I was the very first way back several months ago to post on here that warbs was sounding out everything regarding o'halloran off the park as well as on it, so the doc try taking a leaf out of scottyGDF's book and read my post properly mate.

23 Jan 2016 08:58:01
The doc, lesson learned if nothing else mate. Don't believe a word you read on here, or if you do, don't greet aboot it if it turns out to be B. S.

23 Jan 2016 09:53:43
Cheers Sounezz. What I find strange is W15 is arguing when the majority have agreed with me. Interesting that. And yes lesson learned.

22 Jan 2016 21:17:23
Anyone else a bit concerned about the run in? We have been very lucky with injuries so far. Two or three injuries and supensions at the wrong time could see Hibs running away with it in my view. Also some of the players have played close to 30 games already and tiredness could be a factor. Would it be unfair comment to suggest small squad and tiredness resulted in brentords promo push fizzling out? Really hope not.

22 Jan 2016 21:01:32
I'm glad we never paid a million for a 28 year old DM. That type of money should only be spent on younger players with sell on value.
Would much rather we signed O'halloran and recalled Murdoch to cover for Halliday until Crooks arrives. Thought the wee man looked Rangers class last year in a dreadful team.

22 Jan 2016 23:18:53
Agree recbob. In Murdoch, Walsh and Hardie we have youngsters to come in and ensure that we win the league!

22 Jan 2016 19:49:45
Sorry premature sending previously! Was looking forward to the current transfer window, especially with all the talk of homework done early, list of targets in place and so on. I am not sure if the players that we have been linked with are what we need or what improvement they will bring to the first 11. All I know is that it is exciting seeing the pieces of the jigsaw coming together. Initially we were led to expect possibly 4 or 5 signings all of which would add value, on and off the pitch, to the current squad and be capable of performing in the SPL. Against this expectation we are well short. Given how smoothly things have gone in the Warburton era this is a bit of a surprise and it is easy to understand why people are getting agitated, frustrated and criticising the board (DK) for lack of funds. But the simple truth is we don't know the full story behind these alleged bids or indeed who our main targets are. Personally I am going to take my cue from MW himself. Since his arrival the professional standards with regard to everything relating to the team have risen dramatically; player discipline, commitment and interviews. Player development and cohesion. The whole squad exude focus, belief and professionalism all stemming from Warburton and his integrity. So on that basis if MW is happy that the board are supporting his transfer targets to the value that HE values them at who are we to be concerned. Remember he left Brentford over a dispute about transfer policy so I cannot see him publicly fronting and endorsing transfer dealings that he is not comfortable with or he would consider detrimental to the development of the team required to deliver the objectives for the next few seasons. In Warburton I trust - come on the Gers!

23 Jan 2016 03:53:37
Excellent post that makes a lot of sense. The problem is that King, like Murray before him, is so full of bull that he is creating a problem for himself.

Warburton has come out and said that we will have new signings before the Morton Game, (or at least, so we are to believe by the Press) , and unless the two guys that we have been kinked with in the media are smokescreens while we secure better players then, to all accounts, it would appear that King has not come up with the requisite funds.

Indeed there is little indication that the promised £30m or the spending up front if required, as spouted by King, was anything other than bull and this concern tends to be supported by the fact that the vast amount of loan capital that is being invested at present is coming from sources other than King.

We should manage to win promotion even without quality reinforcements so long as we do not suffer a string of injuries or suspensions. If we do then we simply do not have the cover in defence, midfield or attack, to give comfort, even against teams like QotS or Raith Rovers. That said, we will struggle to win the SPL title next season without a number of quality signings unless our manager and his new scouting system uncover two or there Ramin Stirling's.

I would suspect that the Celtic hierarchy will strengthen their team come the summer and who knows they might even bring in a new manager that can compete with Warburton. In such circumstances it is totally out of order if King, (and remember his cash promises) , does not provide Warburton with the same or greater financial support.!

22 Jan 2016 18:36:12
Hey I see Inverness looking to re_sighn Edward ofere big striker he was a really good target man scored 10 in 15 games 2goals against Celtic in space of 8 days wouldn't cost much and would bag goals in Scottish championship a would pursue this guy only an opinion what use think?

22 Jan 2016 18:45:32
Why don't we all butt out and let the manager do him job! No disrespect Waggy - but I think he knows more than anyone who the Teddy Bears need! 😜.

22 Jan 2016 18:56:27
BigBlue38: toTo be fair mate this site is for rumours and banter so maybe your on the wrong site 😜.

22 Jan 2016 17:49:11
I think it is incredible that some people are complaining that the club are not paying what they perceive to be over the odds for players. We are where we are because the custodians of the past did just that. The management is being realistic and consistently stating that value for money is the order of the day, and rightly so.

Think back to the days when we would think nothing of paying 3 or 4 million for a dud full back or foreigner who wasn't worth a fraction of what was paid. Scottish and to a certain extent English teams would up the price of a player as soon as Rangers were interested and we allowed ourselves to be ripped off time and time again. People need to realise that we are not in that place anymore.

Whether DK has the money or not is an entirely different issue. Time will tell, though I suspect we may be dissappointed with the outcome.

22 Jan 2016 17:58:40
Fans don't want 3 or 4 million pound players just want a better out come and help Warburton a bit more back wht he says and let us know whts going on a bit more as we deserve tht big player days are gone defo but just don't offer 150k for guys worth more tad insulting we don't need millions spent to win this league but must do something when we get promoted just don't really trust king a woulda rather we did sell the club to the American guy can't mind his name thts just my opinion.

22 Jan 2016 19:37:31
American guy just bought a club.

22 Jan 2016 19:52:41
A kin he bought a club was when he was interested a know it wasn't going to happen because who had there hands on the club but some 1 like him woulda been nice.

22 Jan 2016 20:53:53
Too many supporters living in the past, we will be back no doubt, I cringe listening to the moans about just pay the money, I bet most come from guys who prob don't even go to the games, we will go up, and as I have said before investors are there to take us to the next level have faith.

23 Jan 2016 03:59:17
Brian-P, I don't think the issue is that we will be back, I reckon that a lot of people are getting a bit fed up that after all of King's rhetoric and promises of investment there are serious concerns that it was all bull and he doesn't have or is unable to, make the investment that he promised.

In an ideal world many of us would be happy if we had a less controversial Chairman or at least one that was honest with the support, (and I have grave doubts about King in that respect) .

Indeed it would appear that most of the investment to date has come from other Board Members and wealthy overseas supporters while King gets all the applause because he is seen as a Rangers man!

22 Jan 2016 17:43:05
Getting a bit pissed aff with board now yes all about making coin getting players cheap sell on for more like a have said in a previous post but it's a real embarrassment to offer wht we have for players its a insult to other teams and especially us as fans who always put our hard earned cash in most weeks to go to matches. people need to get off Warburtons back saying he needs to go c'mon we are far better with him in charge just wish he was supported more by board nothing to do with him how much we get to spend he's putting players he wants and king and Co let's us down big money players are gone but going to work and getting ripped by others on wht we are offering its been bad enough last few years just don't bother offering daft coin for players saves all the bs.

22 Jan 2016 20:31:34
Really fans r saying MW needs to go, not heard that and u can't think why any rangers fan would be even contemplating that! It's not all MW btw, give bug DW some credit as he's the one I think that has shoe horned MW into coming to us. MW is good news, DW is good news, for the fans that have supposedly have been slating him, well they need to man up, get a grip, wake up and just get behind the manager and the no2!

If we don't get another signing, so what, we have enough to take this title by 8 - 10 points! Easy! Although we can't allow anymore to go out! Hibs n Falkirk will drop more than us in the run in now.

22 Jan 2016 21:31:42
some so called fans say it on hear tht he should go and is defo daft been best manager for a good few years and number 2 d. w they make it easier to watch the football these days don't want them wasting coin so doing tht right but as a lot of fans saying the way it's all getting done offering silly coin for players a trust every player m. w and d. w want didn't know a few he has brought in and they have worked wonders and iam not saying we need any more players just the way we are going about offering peanuts makes me feel like we are skint or board being tight yes don't want to b bk where we was or we going to sell a player in the summer to free up funds for some more players and king and Co don't need to dip into there own pocketd for players.

22 Jan 2016 17:39:56
So much for mark warburton having a war chest in january still no signings who we paid for only two guys on six months contracts at this rate were always going to be miles behind the spl teams never mind celtic mark warburton i trust no convinced about this board yet.

22 Jan 2016 18:39:28
What money have hearts spent since they went into administration. I'll tell you not much and there sitting 3rd. So all this talk about being miles behind spl teams is nonsense. We're as good if not better than the hearts team that got promoted last year.

22 Jan 2016 18:51:53
I agree 100% Hooly. We're maybe a step away from Celtic at the moment but that can change with 2 or 3 additions. To say we are miles behind the rest is absolute and utter nonsense.

22 Jan 2016 21:27:40
Eh Saints game. Didn't look to competitive then. We are miles behind boys be serious.

22 Jan 2016 16:57:33
Does a one think DK got the exchange rate wrong when he said he had 30 million maybe he meant Rands.

22 Jan 2016 16:28:05
£1.5 million!

Toumani Diagouraga.

Before the start of this window how many fans are that naive to think we are going to pay that amount for anyone.

We must be mad to think we have to pay that amount of money to get a Scottish Football quality defensive midfielder.

Even if the figure is closer to a million than a million and a half, we still can't expect our club to pay way too much for what is still a risky signing.

Do we honestly think Warburton has only two players on his list.

We will have players in soon. Days are long gone of paying silly money for complete duds. Warburton is no fool. Have complete confidence in him.

22 Jan 2016 16:47:10
No I honestly think he has two bob up his sleeve.

22 Jan 2016 16:54:59
Do think it's kind of strange that we are trying to argue with a good thing.

Been paying money that isn't acceptable for years, now we have a manager who copes well with pressure and won't be influenced into putting all his eggs in the one basket, and we can't stop complaining.

The club can't win either way. We pay over the odds, there are complaints. We don't step up to the plate with cash, we are penniless.

We should all have more belief in our management team.

22 jan 2016 18:12:38
mw is not at brentford any more he is tjhe managerof the glasgow rangers
i have said already londons calling.

22 Jan 2016 21:24:25
Over spending was back in Advocaats time your talking 35mm memories we haven't paid over the odds in decades stop living in the past guys. Now we are just a joke. If the lad from Brentford went for 1.5m why were we bidding a couple of hundred thousand farce really. Its starting to look intentional.

22 Jan 2016 15:09:52
Leeds. tabled bid this morning, player signs this afternoon! If you want a player sign him not arse about with token gestures! made to look slightly stupid yet again. We like to do our business early in the window apparently yet here we are 22 days in and losing the first of our main targets.

22 Jan 2016 16:31:56
I agree Stu but glad we never got this one he looked well slow and cumbersome!

22 Jan 2016 17:45:07
The guy is a big lad and is past his best, these big guys lose their pace and mobility overnite same happened to the best uns Patrick viera, ya ya toure, who is not old but no where near the player he was a few years back, or even a year ago, lucky escape I think., Warbs plays a great game for me.

22 Jan 2016 17:46:25
Come on nw people dae yeez no think dave king should get the money oot for O'Hallaron and atleast get 1 out of 2 of our main targets, he's unsettled now at st johnstone, i think we should put in a 3rd bid that st johnstone can't refuse, but dnt put in silly money that we haven't got. WATP ** * **.

22 Jan 2016 15:08:03
MW said a new face in by Monday
perhaps he is planning to get his
Halloween mask early but it will have to be good value so he can use it next year as well.

Chelsea Give Present To The Rest Of The Prem, Fat Sam Swaggers Says Sullivan And More Including Massive Signing

22 Jan 2016 14:37:04
{Ed's Note - We have posted a new article entitled, Chelsea Give Present To The Rest Of The Prem, Fat Sam Swaggers Says Sullivan And More Including Massive Signing

22 Jan 2016 14:27:42
Ok guys bit more lighthearted post after all the transfer arguing lol.
If there was a trophy tomorrow for player of the year, who would get your vote?
Gotta be Waghorn for me, exceptional work rate and for a guy who's not a striker supposedly doesn't half score some amount of goals.

22 Jan 2016 18:10:07
Not sure, but I would put forward MacKay as most improved.

22 Jan 2016 19:08:35
Think James Tavenier has got to be in the running.

22 Jan 2016 14:27:41
I put on a wee post yesterday, we as a club do not have the money to go over quarter of a million for a player now, the only reason the two boys from AS are coming in the summer is we can't afford to buy them the now and that's why there coming in the summer because there will be a few leaving and that's what will pay there wages.

22 Jan 2016 14:17:57
Toumani Diagouraga has signed a two and a half year deal with LUFC.

Evans, manager at Leeds, confirmed this and the facts he's supports celtic on STV.

22 Jan 2016 14:21:53
like i said previously i don't think we needed the Brentford guy or O'halloran for that matter, but what DOES irk me is Mark Warburtons " we're very close comments with two additions" Now in anyone's language that means that negotiations are at an ADVANCED stage, so instead of keeping mum, why doesn't he come out and tell us all just WHICH TWO players ARE close? otherwise he is in severe danger of losing face with an awful lot of fans who look up to him.
We ARE going in the right direction, but we need clarity from EVERYONE at the club to maintain the respect we have worked hard for.

22 Jan 2016 14:48:45
What if he's trying to keep it under wraps, wee bill, lest he be gazzumped?

22 Jan 2016 15:08:31
Mark Warburton has said from day one that he will not talk about any other clubs and/or players whilst negotiations are ongoing as he feels its disrespectful to all parties involved. This shows just what kind of man Mr Warburton is and the class and integrity that he abides by. I agree that greater transparency and openness is sometimes needed from the Club but it doesn’t make sense to publicise our transfer targets as it increases competition which ultimately will cost the club more money.

The manger may have spoken out about deals being close but whilst the majority of fans are bickering amongst ourselves about deals to bring in O’Halloran and Toumani that have been in the media, he may have identified another couple of players that he would like to bring in but as always will remain tight lipped on who they are until deals have officially been completed.

Mark Warburton and his staff have a proven track record of identifying diamonds in the rough and many fans forget that he has a history of brokering multi million pounds. Sure there is a difference between deals for foreign currency and football players but the processes and negotiation tactics used are no doubt very similar and the manager knows exactly what he is doing in the transfer market.

I also believe the board is backing him financially but again if the manager feels that the deal isn’t right or the club is getting screwed over then I for one back his, his staff and boards judgement and they will no doubt move on to other targets.

Still over a week to go in this transfer market and we will no doubt see a new face or 2 but with the squad we have currently, I can’t see us losing the league.

22 Jan 2016 16:45:24
sounezz if you are keeping things under wraps then it's best to say nothing whatsoever. The statements he has made have been misleading.

22 Jan 2016 14:04:36
Don't think there's any funds to get OHALLORN.

22 Jan 2016 13:43:10
So MW identifies a player that he thinks will add value to the team. A player who he wants. Now according to our chairman he will spend 'whatever it takes' and 'if MW comes to me and says, here's a good one, then I'll give him the money and we'll get him in'
So we offer a couple of hundred thousand for this guy and Brentford say, we would like 700k for the fella (not 7 million ) and we can't match this.
So my thinking is this, MW wanted this guy, one for the future, Rangers wouldn't meet the valuation and stump up the other few hundred thousand to get him. We all agree that we will need a better standard of player going forward so where does this statement leave us?
Why would Dave not spend the extra?
As has been suggested on here, do we just not have the money?
Is O'Halloran going to slip through our fingers too?
And why the F is Dave so quiet now?
Sorry about this rant, not that bothered about not getting this guy you understand, just really annoyed by how we are going about our business just now.

22 Jan 2016 13:54:13
The DM from Brentford having medical at Leeds!

22 Jan 2016 14:05:46
Your jokin man!

22 Jan 2016 15:06:21
Cause there is no cash he's after is 20 million he put in to club when sir dm owned club.

22 Jan 2016 13:03:54
I would like to be the first on here to commend Leeds Utd for the way they have conducted themselves in their transfer business today, That is how transfer negotiations should be done, enquire how much do you want for this player? great we are happy to meet that, send him up to Leeds, thrash out terms signed sealed delivered in under 5 hours. Before you lot jump on the 'held to ransom train' there is also an alternative, which is enquire how much do you want for this player? oh we are not willing to pay that however we would offer xxxx? no ok, thanks for your time good luck for the rest of the season.

Wow thinking of becoming an agent!

22 Jan 2016 13:46:58
Aye spot on azzlee, I've just submitted a big long rant on this too. Whether it makes the cut or not remains to be seen. Really angered by the way we are going about things just now. Penny pinching.

22 Jan 2016 14:05:29
Toumani 1 for the future lol. The guy was 28.

22 Jan 2016 14:43:40
Lol bigt?
3 or 4 or 5 seasons with us and he would only be 33 so yeah, one for the future.

22 Jan 2016 12:31:21
I wonder who the signing is that's close? The Brentford guy seems set for Leeds and I have no clue what's happening with O'Halloran, St. J seem pretty pissed with everything. Anyone have any ideas?

22 Jan 2016 12:38:52
yeah there are no signings close MW identifies the targets and other people within the club then start negotiations these other people are working to a non exisitant budget MW will be informed that we have been priced out of a move but i don't forsee us signing anyone else in this window, I also don't blame MW or even DK but rather the press for flaunting our transer activity as we all well know its all about the rangers.

22 Jan 2016 12:45:58
I still think ohalloran will be here by monday. if tounami is away to leeds, it frees up cash to get ohalloran. thoughts.

22 Jan 2016 12:45:58
I still think ohalloran will be here by monday. if tounami is away to leeds, it frees up cash to get ohalloran. thoughts.

22 Jan 2016 13:00:21
O'Halloran is still a move but I don't think St. J will budge on the price and Warbs won't overpay what he thinks it the right price or simply we don't have the cash. I'm honestly happy with the team we have just now. An extra player would just be a bonus.

22 Jan 2016 14:06:34
Matthew i see your point although I don't think its MW being held to ransom more over we just don't have the funds i believe negotiations are taking so long as we are probably offering a miniscule structured package i. e 100k upfront with a further xxxx on this date and clauses regarding appearances and league finish next year all pretty standard but for a wee club like st johnstone they need as much money upfront as possible to replace their best player which is a fair point.

Seriously getting sick of you Dave King Hatters! What do you want from the man!

He and his team have come in, repaired and re-floated and stinking sinking embarrassing football club.

Have worked miracles in the short space of time that they have been back.

Cleared up 2 loans, and provided it on interest free payment to trusted people that we can have a loan with.

Got Ibrox looking better, Murray Park has been turned round with investment and recruitment.

The entire First team management has been turned round and have introduced a solid football philosophy that will be the bench mark of our club for years to come.

The squad is in the fist year of an over-hall, come the summer we will get rid of the rest of the unwanted players and between now and the summer bring in another 5-6 players and probs get rid of the same.

This will all have been done prudently and financially managed for all concerned.

We are top of the league and look bound for the premiership.

What more do you guys want from DK, u want him to start flinging money around for fun and get F*c*ed over and put us up S**t creak again! U want him to do that in the championship? He be in the door 9 month give the man peace.

We are off the front page and on the back page of the papers, all of our business is taken care in house. We act with integrity, pride and dignity the way rangers always were.

So get off of Dave Kings Back and let's be thankful that there was actually a bear out there that could drag us out the black hole we were in!

WATP!

M3lvo, yes dk and the rest have done a cracking job in a short space of time, no one can deny that. However, a small gesture to the fans would be nice. We aren't asking much, just a small 1mil or 1.5mil gift to buy in a few players and to stop the king haters from spreading their nonsense.

22 Jan 2016 12:35:16
Best post I've read in a long time well said M3LVO.

22 Jan 2016 15:09:25
M3LVO put his hand in his pocket not asking for millons but enuff for us to get the players we need or should i say mw wants.

22 Jan 2016 11:04:20
Don't know who it was couple of weeks ago I said boy from Brentford wasn't coming because we can't afford fee and o h deal won't go throw either when is fellow bears going tae start noticeing yea we are a massive club fan base and support wise but we have no cash to step in and pay a fee that is required for players that mw wants to buy so yes free transfers with low wages are the way forward but quality sh. so much for mr King wae the cash he's more intrested in the fight with Mike lol.

22 Jan 2016 12:30:46
So if we wanted to sign say will vaulks but flakirk wanted 5 million, you think we should just pay it because that's what they want?

A player is only worth what a team will pay! And this board aren't going to pay over the odds for players to play in the Scottish championship.

22 Jan 2016 11:12:42
Looks like we have lost out again. This time to Leeds. Not looking too cleverer esp when it is a position we did need to fill. Just have hope we have a plan B though not holding my breath.

22 Jan 2016 12:13:55
What? Aren't we top of the league by 5 points? Strengthen the team for next year's return to the SPL by all means, but I think the squad Warburton has will comfortably win the league and may even have a good Scottish Cup run. Haven't we learnt the lesson of splashing out big bucks for players who often don't produce. Youn Mackay is a great example of our own young players who cost nothing and we also have Walsh, Murdoch and Hardie to call on as well.

22 Jan 2016 11:02:59
SOW? are we all joking here? The guy who plays a bit part role for hearts and we are bigging him up to be a big part of rangers plans? Pull the other one lads.

22 Jan 2016 09:50:23
Toumani Diagouraga Going to Leeds.

22 Jan 2016 10:33:53
Dave king not guilty.

22 Jan 2016 11:34:53
diagouraga has arrived at Elland Road to sort personal terms, another one bites the dust!

22 Jan 2016 11:36:54
Our transfer dealings have become a farce now. Brentford have accepted bid for Diagouraga from Leeds. Sky mentioned that Brentford received a bid from Rangers last week. What happened to MW's quote that they were very close? Rangers are not following up any offers they make. Way, way beyond a joke now. Nothing learned from Scott Allan fiasco.

22 Jan 2016 11:02:37
I don't think King can take any of the blame if the boy goes to Leeds.

22 Jan 2016 12:40:18
Reality time people, MONEY, yeah that olde thing, Leeds can pay more in terms of a transfer fee plus higher wages, the guy is 28 looking at his last contract, duhhhhh.

We would get no value out the guy, so wish him well I don't actually rate him either, I recon he wouldn't settle here as he has a young family and may not fancy it too much, tbh I would prefer will vaulks from Falkirk.

22 Jan 2016 11:01:36
Surely not! The talk a few days ago was that the big man and wee ohalloran were somehow going to turn yous in to world beaters! Oh well maybe if u bid another 10 grand for ohalloran u mite end up with one of them lol.

22 Jan 2016 09:40:52
Leeds Utd bid for diagouraga we will now find out exactly what is going on at Rangers MW knows and likes and wants the player time to find out if we really have been backing our manager financially!

22 Jan 2016 11:19:26
couldnt agree more this transfer has meant to be going on since start of window now at the 22nd taking to much time and now some else has came in for him and paid his true value this would not have been a signing to win us the championship this is a signing to help us win the premier league and qualify for Europe.

22 Jan 2016 12:31:56
Do you think we need to pay 700k for a player to get out of this league?

22 Jan 2016 09:31:04
looks like big Tounami Diagouraga is off to Leeds, Brentford have apparently accepted an offer for him. big doubt he'll be coming to us then? or just a bump in the road?

22 Jan 2016 00:41:32
Law, shields, Clark, templeton, bell, all big earners who haven't coped playing for a club our size and we should move on regardless if they are rangers at heart, they have all let us done and earned a fortune while doing so, tav, holt, waggy Wallace in my opinion have been a breath of fresh air, mckays improving well, miller u know what u get, Kieran dodgy, foderingham dodgy, Wilson shaky, zelalem average, ball average, we have major work to do still man.

22 Jan 2016 07:56:23
I think kiernan is coming on to a game now big wes has saved us a few times with wonder saves but yeah I agree still learning Wilson will come good. Got to disagree about zelalem considering he's only 18 he deals with pressure very well destined for the top ball is needing more game time so can't really judge.

22 Jan 2016 08:18:36
Law for me this season has been influential on the pitch, I would happily keep him.

22 Jan 2016 09:35:04
Clark is nowhere near a big earner, kiernan and Wilson are not shaky or dodgy the fact we basically play 2 at the back is the fault for most goals.

22 Jan 2016 12:34:55
Think your being a wee bbit harsh on foddy, kiernan, ball and even wilson we are where we are and its enjoyable to watch and its only months into the job let WW do their job and when were in real trouble have a go at players because all the players are fighting for the club and it shows in resuls.

22 Jan 2016 00:28:51
Let's not cover up our disappointment so far in the transfer market, it's all rubbish, king won't spend money properly till we get to the premier league and there's a sniff of European football, we should be strengthening now for next season. If they rate ohallaron then 500,000 is nothing in modern day football, but no they will again beat about the bush and lose out. I personally am disappointed so far by king, I have faith in warbs although our teams a long way from being finished. Still recon we need a good right back, allowing tav to play right mid, 2 new centre halfs, a holding mid fielder and another striker before we compete for top half of spl.

22 Jan 2016 02:22:59
Callum Patterson fae Hearts is the best right back in Scotland.

22 Jan 2016 07:19:28
Wouldn't swap him for Tav mate.

22 Jan 2016 00:08:43
Anyone know what has happened to Templeton?

22 Jan 2016 00:14:09
Was he not due to have an operation on his knee?

22 Jan 2016 09:07:09
Apparently out for another 3 months after knee surgery.
