So Danny Wilson has no regrets about leaving Rangers as it was the only way he would be able to improve as a football player. Get a transfer to Liverpool play nine games then go out on loan a couple of times, end up at Hearts with your contract finished in the summer, and looking for a new club. So the transfer had nothing to do with money Danny and although you were decent it had nothing to do with an ego? Guess you will be another who won't be getting an invite back at any time to do the half time draw.

Danny Wilson and Kevin Thomson were forced out of rangers so Walter had the money to buy jelavic, so in a way it was for money, so Walter could buy jelavic.

Why take things so personal?hes only a young man doing what's financially correct for him and his family.we all do the same in our career paths, why should a footballer be any different?
Agree20

No team in Scotland can now hold onto its young talent. FACT

Not exactly what I read on stv. He said he has no regrets as he moved with intentions off becoming a better footballer. Which he beleives he has. Nothing derogatory about rangers. He said you can't regret these things. Didn't play as much as he hoped but that's life. No problem to me.
Agree15

If he hasn't have went when he did Rangers may not have survived for as long as they did, didn't they get about 3 million?
Had he stayed his contract would've been ripped up when the club went down the swannie last June.

Another player who bites the dust after leaving the biggest club in scotland
Agree14

He was never ready for such a move and it's no surprise that It didn't work out. The same thing will happen to Jamie Ness as well.
Agree21
Disagree3
@6: so he should have stayed?
Agree9

Not being nasty about the boy but he was described in Liverpool as the defender who couldn't defend. The story goes that his limited ability was well known at ibrox and it was a great piece of business getting £2m for him.

Even if his move didn't work out the way he hoped he is still at a better level than he would be if he stayed

@1 how was that the case? Rangers didn't pay Rapid the transfer fee agreed?
Another example the they were insolvent long before they were condemned.
Agree6
Disagree5
Ok so he said what he said? Went to Liverpool to play play a better standard of football, didn't play to often, went on loan to a different standard o football, and now went to hearts which is a better standard of football than what "The rangers" are in now?! So.......
Agree8
Disagree3
@12. Is it really a must be watching a different ball game, the standard of football in Scotland is not that great between the spl and third division, ok outwith say Celtic and maybe one or two others in spl the level of football and standard between all 4 leagues aren't that different.
Agree5
Disagree6
@13 are you serious of just trying to convince yourself the standard between 3rd and spl is big, sure there can be upsets due to off days, weather, bad pitches etc but full time and part time players are totally different.

Ed do you know how the meeting went with the english confrence yesderday? {The Ed039's Note - Rangers were not on the agenda)
Believable11
Unbelievable8
Ed the only agenda Rangers are on are that of the liquidators BDO and Harper MacLeod who are going to ensure titles are removed from the grave of the liquidated club! {The Ed039's Note - And how would BDO and Harper MacLeod manage that? Are they part of the SPL's "independent" investigation as well? You should really think before you type)
Agree24
Disagree19
And there was me thinking Harper MacLeod were the SPL's solicitors . . . {The Ed039's Note - So does mean they are involved or have an influence on proceedings as a legal firm? Doesnt make the committee independent does it?)
Agree8
Disagree5
Once again another post about titles being removed really is tiresome but expected from non Rangers supporters away and watch your own team and win some trophies while you have no competition.
Agree14
Disagree14
But didn't people on here claim that Charlie Chuckles was going down for a meeting to persuade the doubters that the new club should come into the Conference ? Surely Charlie hasn't been telling porkies. {The Ed039's Note - I dont think Charles Green said he was attending this meeting)
Agree13

OP, is this not we used to do with any emerging talent in Scotland? (K Miller first time round!) yeah the boy should maybe have stayed and learnt his trade a bit more but he could just as easily have suffered an horrific injury and career over, so no problem in my book him moving to (in his mind better himself), and also earn a few quid more

I see the bold Jim McInally having a go at Rangers, why? we beat them fair and square, even though they tried to boot us off the park, another bitter wee nothing, he says we should be wiping the floor in that division, we are, look at the goals scored, ok, some games we huff and puff, but the league is more or less over now.Message to the bold Jim, wind your neck in.

Well this is why he manages peter head. We've all got an opinion but I'm sure ally and co will have a good giggle at this poor attempt to get his name in the press. Pin this article on the wall next time we play them and that will get us a few goals.

Who cares what he thinks. His views are irrelevant

Another manager who sends his team out to kick anything that moves a sad man indeed
Agree11

@1: it would have to be an ironic laugh from anyone at Rangers if it's about pathetic attempts to be in the press...
Agree18
Disagree7
To be fair he does make some valid points but where his argument falls down is the fact that he sent his team out to kick Rangers rather than try and play football against them. Maybe employing tactics like that is the reason he is managing in division 3 rather than at a higher level

Everyone know that Charles Green is meeting with supporters clubs reps tomorrow night (Wed) to discuss the re-naming of Ibrox.
Looks like it's going to happen, if/when he gets the fans on-board.
Wonder what will happen to the money, suppose it will just get added to Ally's war-chest (mmm).

There is no if or when the fans are on board its getting done end of story

How many clubs worldwide have their stadium rights sold? don't see why people are getting so upset, it always has been an always will be ibrox to us

Maybe someone could ask him about the academy in Australia and the connection with Dallas Cowboys ?....TTTS

Fans feelings don't rack up against hard cash. This guy is a former veg stallholder, who was into this and into that. The agenda for Sports Direct is to make money, most of which is from fans. That's what SDM did for 25 years.

Still be Ibrox. At the end of the day its brick and morter. Its been rebuilt, not as if its the Taj Mahal that has stood for centuries.

Wonder if the shareholders, including those who aren't Rangers supporters, will be getting a say or will that have to wait for the AGM .
Paddy Malarkey {The Ed039's Note - Supporters views will be "taken into account" Pads but at the end of the day, if he is going to do it, then he is going to do it, I dont really have a problem with it to be honest, when I go to a game or when anyone else goes to the game, they will be going to Ibrox)
Agree3
Disagree3
I will still be calling it Ibrox also, but I think it's more about what the Ibrox faithful are willing to accept and I don't think they will have any truck with Sports Direct, which may be what non-Rangers supporting shareholder(s) may prefer . If the money is guaranteed to go to team improvement (rather than the allusion to a £30 million warchest which is an illusion)then I think that the majority would be willing to bite the bullet and accept the economic realities .If all they get is smoke and mirrors again, then I think that Charles is mistaking loyalty for stupidity and it will end in tears,

Is Sports Direct really the best we can do?
Ok, I always thought Apple being interested was far fetched but Sports Direct? I think being linked with that dump of a shop reflects badly on us tbh.
Agree6

@8 totally correct! Sports direct is an absolute midden of a shop, the name will definatly fit the setting!
I believe that that this is the best that rangers can do! Don't see many reputable big name companies knocking your door down to have anything to with your club!

Spokesman for central coast mariners. We would not entertain the prospect of acting as a feeder club or academy partner with a club currently playing in the lower league of scottiish football. Charles caught lying again. TM

Lol it's like Northern Spirit and Murray all over again, only difference is Green hasn't got the banks millions on tap.

Why does he continue to tell these lies when he must know the other parties will rubbish his claims?

Why the feck are rangers supporters putting up with these lies!
But totally agree with the central coast's stand! Good on them!

Well it's Charles green trying to take the media spotlight back from celtics signing! Celtic sign australian player so Charles green will claim to be setting up an academy in Australia and NCM will become feeder club for rangers lol
I think we need to nickname Charlie boy "panther" because he is definatly the biggest black cat around lol
Why are rangers supporters not waking up to this guy?
Ah looking forward to when champions league matches come around just to see what Panther comes out with then!
