Smeltic are going to be embarrased against juventus and i cant wait to see lemmons face
Really? Smeltic? What age are you?
Celtic have just taken 10 points and qualified from a very hard group, beating Barcelona on the way. What do you base your assumption on? I imagine Lennons face, if we get beat, will contain a look of pride having taken his young team into the knock out round of the biggest footballing competion on the planet. What did Ally McCoist face look like when you were beaten by the worst senior team in British football?
Agree5

Have a close look at septic results in cl played against 10 men in russia and own goal penalty in 2nd game couldnt beat benfica in 2 games and all that means one thing luck
I think you will find that the Russian player was sent of due to constant attacking pressure from Celtic whilst been left standing by Hooper. That Russian team cost tens of millions of pounds to put togethor and we took 6 points from them. Three from Barcelona and 1 from Benfica who only beat us by one goal away from home. All this from the youngest team in the competition that cost a fraction of the teams they played against. Yeah we werte lucky..............

@6 bitter and twisted or what? Yeah and your club is playing in the 4th tier in a diddy league!
You wanna grow up son! At least teams want to play them! Last I recall is everyone pulled out of playing friendlies with your now defunct club lol
Agree0
Disagree2
@7. Feck me, and in the season of goodwill to all men etc as well! Poster 6 is a Celtic fan 'ya muppet'! Hope Santa brings you a guidebook on learning to read posts properly as you clearly could benefit from it, lol. As for your own 'bitter and twisted' post the friendlies were cancelled as the club had not secured a licence to play matches following the sale between the two companies. They would have went ahead otherwise.
There is one point you made that we can both agree on thankfully - "You wanna grow up son!" ;-)

Another good result today. Good form results wise. 6 goals away in any league is admirable. Well done ally.

But leaking goals at the back, to poor opposition
Agree10

Yes poor oppo. But we are not an SPL quality team at moment. And Elgin are the second best in division. So if its all the same to you ill take 6-2 over 4-0 anyday. Football is about scoring goals first and foremost after all.

Elgin 2 goals yesterday were great goals not defence to blame

That was a great game to watch today. McKay is a joy to watch, he's going to be a superstar. McCleod also really impressive. Lets hope we can hold on to them.

Lol...a superstar? FFS it's amatures you are playing against! I've seen better Sunday league teams. None of those young players will be there if you get to the spl2, I'm sure a few junior teams will snap them up.

@3 that's just the attitude Scottish football doesn't need, remind me what non league team was Gary hooper playing for at age of 18? What team was wanyama playing for 18 months ago?

Henke and anon 3. So the only time ANY fan of ANY club can be enthusiastic about a particular game they have seen, or be happy about two youth players breaking through, performing consistently well and grabbing their chance with both hands is if it involves playing against one of Europe's elite teams now? Wow, there must only be one team in Scottish football that people are 'allowed' to enthuse about, play for or support without getting ridiculed for it right enough. Forget the chill pill, you two need to take a modesty pill. In fact, make it a couple. There are another 41 teams in Scottish football.
Where do the promising youths in the SPL go to hone their skills, learn their trade and see if they can hack it physically and mentally in the game? The lower leagues which are 95% full of the amateur/part time players and teams you are slating, no matter the Division. Does that mean they can't go on to become 'superstars' as they grow and learn the game?
You clearly haven't seen any of the games they have played in. McKay and McLeod (to a slightly lesser extent to me although Ed039 is really enthusiastic about his prospects long term) are two of the most exciting talents I have seen emerge in any Rangers team in a long time. Particularly McKay for me as he's direct, never hides, gets up and gets on with it when he gets clobbered, can play equally well on either wing or just off the front, he's pacey, can go past people and can set up and/or score goals. For me, he has massive potential and CAN become a superstar if he applies and conducts himself properly. Yes they are currently playing in the Third Division but it will make men out of them and they will benefit from the experience and will improve further as we progress through the divisions. I'm with the OP, they are two tremendous prospects and I really hope we can mange to hold onto them.

@1. You lot want every man and his dog to praise your team for there run in Europe. But you cant stand it that RFC still operate , especially now that we have full houses eery week . Official 140 year history and we raised millions during this economic climate. At least show some humbleness regarding young boys who have a massive burden to bear in there young years. I have always praised young footballers of any team , even yours. So unless you can make good constructive critisim please leave it out.
Agree15
Disagree8
@9 get a grip" I really hope we can manage hold onto them" lol... As I said it will be a junior team for these "superstars" I'm afraid you lot getting your knickers in a twist about beating plumbers, joiners, architects etc who train twice a week,Once if they have midweek game! Honestly, listen to yourself you sound ridiculous.

@11 you lot where getting your knickers in a twist when we were drawing with these teams, still u never managed to beat Arbroath at parkheed.
Agree12
Disagree2
@11 aye but we beat Barcalona and spartak why don't you mention that? A few changes to the team against Arbroath and one eye on the CL can explain that result
Agree6
Disagree10
@10. ffs what burden do they have to bear? They are getting paid loads to play a game they love! You sound ridiculous as well
Agree5
Disagree5
@ 11. Nothing ridiculous in what I wrote, only what I was replying to and the fact that you think they will end up with a junior team is laughable. As I said, you clearly haven't seen them play and, despite not being a betting man normally, if you want to put your money where your mouth is (means I would have to wash it upon receipt but hey-ho) give our Ed your e-mail address and I will gladly take it off you. The lads are still teenagers and I think they will go a long way in the game if they keep their heads screwed on (i.e. don't attend functions they shouldn't, stay off the bevvy, etc) and keep working as hard as they clearly are doing just now.
I am not raving about beating these teams just as you lot didn't rave about beating Arbroath. We are expected to beat them just as you were, and quite rightly so given the disparity in resources and support. I am raving about two highly talented boys who have, so far, coped with playing in front of huge crowds every second week (a lot of experienced pros disappear under that pressure), taken a kicking every game and came back for more, and have been absolute stand outs when the more experienced players have struggled (Cribari, Black and Sandaza for example) to set an example. Get a grip yourself and read your own posts back.

@9 Brian, wholeheartedly agree with your post. There is obviously nothing interesting in his own teams forum to comment on (whichever team that is) so he feels the need to ridicule other, more interesting and succesful teams. Not down with street talk so thanks for clearing up what a 'chill pill' is.

@ 7 some where bought from spl sides which made them spl players i never said they where GOOD spl players ...and 6 ...celtic players are also current champions league players and dont earn anywhere near some of the wages the players from teams they knocked out are paid and def no where near the money the barca players they beat 2 1 are on whilst your team have been knocked out of cups by teams on far less wages than yours
Agree4

@8 so what does that make barca then if they got beat by a team paid less than them
What does how much you get paid have to do with it anyway
Agree3

@8 like I said its getting boring now. You lot are running out of things to pick on. We are winning regularly. We are winning away regularly. Racing clear and before you say well its only div 3, well that's where we are nothing we can do about it. Just keep beating em til we get back to the top. Fans turning up.in numbers for each league match too. Something else your fans got wrong. Again. Wasn't the novelty supposed to have worn off by now? Merry Christmas. Watp
