Just watched gazza story on netflix
Well woth a watch
God bless gazza.

23 Apr 2020 08:47:29
Yes tilladie gazza was some player and a down to earth gentleman everyone of the 4 times i met the guy. He had a heart of gold who would do anything for you! Not to mention he was the greatest EVER footballer,
bar NONE, to have played in scottish football! A total genius and maverick of a footballer! ๐Ÿ‘. These players only come about every so often and paul gascoigne was voted the greatest english footballer over the last 50 years, that in itself says it all! He had a natural, god gifted talent, that you CAN'T teach. He was born with it! ๐Ÿ‘.

23 Apr 2020 12:07:56
Supercoop. I loved Gazza too but by no stretch of imagination would I ever refer to him as a 'gentleman'!

23 Apr 2020 13:28:20
Gazza never a gentleman.

23 Apr 2020 13:31:01
Flawed Genius, heart of gold and generous by nature. For me falls very much into same category as George Best and Jim Baxter. Wonderful football player.

23 Apr 2020 14:34:41
On my experiences gazza was a gentleman simple as that guys. Also a working class, down to earth bloke.

23 Apr 2020 14:37:12
I agree with you bankie and from my own personal point of view i think gazza was better than slim jim baxter but probably just behind george best by a whisker for me.

23 Apr 2020 15:22:25
SGL your experience of Gazza being a gentleman fundamentally flawed. He hit his wife regularly.

23 Apr 2020 17:08:52
Let me be quite clear for your benefit John25.I don't condone whatsoever any man that hits their wife, partner or any woman for that matter. We've got to remember paul gascoigne has a mental health illness and is an alcoholic mate.
That contributed to hitting his wife and again i'll reiterate, i'm not condoning that whatsoever! Deep down and again i'll state IMHO, paul gascoigne is a very kind hearted,
down to earth, working class guy.
I found him as a total gentleman.

This whole thing about football amid the coronavirus crisis is descending into a sad joke. You get players like Arsenal's Ozil on ยฃ350,000 per week declining to take a wage cut. You get horrible muppets like Lawwell, Lennon et al desperate to ensure the unwashed get a 9th title regardless of what it takes or means. Get a grip. Like many families, we haven't seen our daughter, son and grandchildren for weeks nor our close friends. This could go on for months and thousands are dying. What the F*** is it about the mentality of some of these people? Write off the SPL season NOW and pray that by the time next year comes there is still a football infrastructure in this country. Stay safe Bears (and also Mhanks) .

22 Apr 2020 17:12:32
In the grand scale of things football irrelevant
Well said doiger๐Ÿ‘.

22 Apr 2020 18:25:19
Have to agree with all you say DOIGER.

22 Apr 2020 18:45:33
Surely we all take it as read that there are more important issues just now and just because we are posting on here doesn't mean we don't care about them.

22 Apr 2020 20:19:30
Football and any other sport or anything else for that matter is way down the list, to the no.1 unfortunate thing in the list, this horrendous, invisible killer of a virus, covid 19!We must all be so very very vigilante of this terrible virus and stay safe by carrying out what the medical profession guidelines tell us to do. We can't take no chances with this, for all our families sakes and all human mankind! This is going to be one helluva long haul getting back to anything near normal again and we all must digest that now. Unfortunately we won't be attending any football games again,
for a very long time. Probably some time in mid 2021 i personally think!
Stay safe fellow bears along with all your families and all human beings out there! God Bless you all! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™.

22 Apr 2020 20:24:27
Finally agree with you on something coops. well said ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘.

22 Apr 2020 20:26:21
Nice post Supercoop. Hopefully you are wrong on mid 2021 projection but agree it will be a significant period before we see football again.

22 Apr 2020 21:43:42
Iโ€™m looking forward to seeing my grandson more than anything else.

22 Apr 2020 22:13:14
I agree with all of your posts, God Bless all at this time.

22 Apr 2020 22:57:27
At the end of the day fauldhoose bear, we're ALL god's children. We may differ on here at times mate and that's because we're all entitled to our opinions. We're altogether in this fight against this deadly, terrible covid 19.Like I said in my previous post i wish ALL mankind to stay safe with all their loved ones and may god be with each and every one of you! ๐Ÿ™. Take care and god bless you all! ๐Ÿ™.

23 Apr 2020 11:56:57
Doiger: well said son. Agree 100%. Oh and those big hearted arsenal players taking a 10 % paycut. Wow, only 150k left to get by. You sure see the best and worst during these unprecedented times. Stay safe all no matter who you support.

22 Apr 2020 15:40:22
Just been released FA says leagues in England finished with immediate effect . No decision on winners or losers or void has been determined yet . begs to wonder what makes us different ๐Ÿค” fir the life of me I canโ€™t think . aye right.

22 Apr 2020 16:53:16
Where did you see this molsgoals?

22 Apr 2020 17:26:57
I think it's the National League.

22 Apr 2020 21:56:41
Heard it on radio might have picked it up wrong . typical . sorry if I did ๐Ÿ˜”.

22 Apr 2020 13:50:45
Well I suppose they are definitely going to be gifted the league now. Achinleck Talbot have been awarded their league despite sitting third in their league, I know the circumstances in that league but come on.

24 Apr 2020 11:27:47
Jyf, how yae doing pal? i was looking at the situ that you've mentioned, talbot. Were 9 games behind the leaders, 9 games can equal 27 points, the same amount of points that we had left to play for, why didn't we get awarded the league, lol.

24 Apr 2020 11:28:28
Jyf, i assume we would have got the full 27 points from our remaining games, so what's the difference, lol, lol.

22 Apr 2020 12:44:29
UEFA want all fixtures finished. Are we then going to see the lower Scottish leagues games go ahead. SPFL declared lower leagues finished, but without UEFA permission. How could that happen? Yes, the teams voted for it, but prematurely. Scumdee United promoted, but not actually winning the right. (yet) . As usual, not very intelligent from our Scottish teams. We should not have declared anything without the proper guidelines in place. We jumped the gun again. This whole situation is beyond a joke.

22 Apr 2020 12:58:46
Iโ€™m sure the SFA can call the lower leagues themselves but the need permission from UEFA to call the top league.

22 Apr 2020 13:08:19
What they want and they get are two separate issues. This lockdown is too big and not going away anytime soon.

22 Apr 2020 13:52:46
Rossco3001, see that's what happens when celtic fc supporters are allowed to run, our leagues, they will do anything to get there paymasters nods, very crooked, its terrible this has been allowed to happen, again for there favourite club,

22 Apr 2020 18:20:58
The league cannot be ended. Rangers are still in europe. The squad for this is registered. Ending the league would terminate loan deals ect. Leaving Rangers not having these players avail for the second leg, putting us at a disadvantage.

23 Apr 2020 12:45:23
Stewart, we were at a massive disadvantage as soon as big pete employed doncaster, mcclelland, regan, the whole lot of them, as soon as rangers have a disagreement with anyone it goes in front of those goons to debate, we are trying to debate with people employed by there paymaster (big pete) what chance have we got, no chance, get outsiders in for this eternal investigation, that way the outsiders can see what we and every other scottish club is against, purely. Run for the benefit of one club, celtic, fact.

22 Apr 2020 11:59:03
Listening to UEFA u would think everythings going to be fine in a month or two! But taking on board wee studgies rhetoric I genuinely don't think we will see any football at all this year. unless they get the players kitted out in some sort of head to toe virus proof onesie how can they be expected to play. sayin that though! How funny would that be to watch? Lol.

22 Apr 2020 12:02:06
Be like superhero football lol the marvel cup . sorry can't help myself.

22 Apr 2020 21:18:31
During May, when there is consensus that no contact sport can be played without risk of illness, UEFA will finally advise all Football Associations to formally end their domestic seasons. Hopefully football will return before end of 2020.
