oh what we could have achieved if we had kept 10 men on the park.

22 Apr 2019 23:38:10
Morelos must be sold quickly, RANGERS are far better with Defoe, and arfield behind him, morelos doesn't release the ball until he has no choice or he falls while backing in, he is not a natural finisher, he is busy and industrious, but having your striker ordered off every 2 weeks is ridiculous, get shot, take whatever someone else is daft enough to pay, Defoe will always score goals and be available, signing so far are good, what we need or a hately type player,

Tommy.

23 Apr 2019 08:29:27
I think he is natural finisher tommy but I do agree that we look better as a team without him. 👍.

23 Apr 2019 09:20:38
Tommy, like your post but we can’t put all our eggs in one basket where Defoe is concerned. Firstly it’s been great watching him, his movement and how he brings him there into play and his runs off the ball just show how really intelligent he is but Bournemouth have two recall options and even if they don’t exercise the right to use them we still need another striker or two if we sell Fredo.

Sadly it hasn’t worked out for KL who will never do anything with cameos here and there from the bench. I’m only interested in selling Fredo if serious money is put on the table and we can use the lot of it to reinvest.

23 Apr 2019 09:52:12
@tommybear - just out of interest, if we never had Morelos at the start of the season, who would have scored our goals?

23 Apr 2019 11:09:41
Who knows Union, what's past is past and had he scored the many sitters he missed and the bad temper getting him sent off.
A one man band is never good enough for a club of our size.

I'm sure like a lot of us on here in the past weeks without him we seem to be doing better. Still what's past is past an we will never know now.

23 Apr 2019 12:18:30
Bluebilly can u tell me the many sitters he missed this season that has cost us.

23 Apr 2019 14:18:55
Too numerous to mention Jboy and I can't say if they cost us as our start and mid season was giving me palpitations. Just know we should have been winning games he played in (not all his blame tho) .

23 Apr 2019 14:26:59
UJ we have other ST's in the squad that would have scored goals if morelos wasn't here just like defoe is doing now. That has to be one of the daftest things i have read on here, "who would have scored our goals if we never had morelos" - answer = someone else👍.

23 Apr 2019 17:31:14
Cool bluebilly, I feel he improved from sitters he missed last season
Coldo cmon, we only had Morelos, lafferty oh and Sadiq.
That at the time was one short, even a hardie or rudden would have helped especially against Aberdeen.
If we sign hastie, get Murphy back I think we will have players who play wide scoring more goals.
It is worth remembering we have scored more goals that last season and are top scores in Scot.
Next season score more concede about ten less. We have nearly halved league goals conceded since last year.

23 Apr 2019 17:43:21
Jboy, if we never had morelos then we would have had someone else, C'mon mate👍.

23 Apr 2019 18:45:31
Possible, but we only had what we had as window was closed.

23 Apr 2019 22:22:45
Morelos is not the be all and end all of our team, we are scoring plenty goals without him and playing a level of football that he would hinder👍.

22 Apr 2019 21:08:30
On reflection, think SG inaugural season not been that bad. His and his team have taken a season but have to say we're now playing pretty Damn good. Believe SG moving team ever onward while tic pretty stationery. Resting on laurels as it were. Looking forward to new season.

22 Apr 2019 21:34:07
I truly think we will all see a much more consistent rangers next season.
Steven gerrard with the amount of changes to personnel he had to make,
was always going to take time to bed in, thus the team being inconsistent at times. From my own personal point of view, as far as i'm concerned,
there's been improvement and we've proved on our day, we undoubtedly can beat any other team in the league.
Too many draws has been our achillies heel and if we could only have turned a few of them into wins,
then god only knows where we'd be sitting in the league table just now. Taking into account, the last minute goals we've lost. I for one, am very optimistic for next season and i really do think we'll improve much more again with gerrard and the players having a season now, under their belt. I really do think we'll challenge them strong for the league title, next season. In Stevie G I believe! Onwards and upwards, "LETS GO"! I have every faith in our management team!

23 Apr 2019 06:39:33
Well said SC11.

23 Apr 2019 08:43:46
We have improved in the last few games and that's because morelos is out the team. Up until then, apart from the odd game, we were bang average. Defoe links up play in ways that morelos doesn't. We look so much better as a team without morelos. I think his ban is a blessing in disguise. The last few games are more like the Rangers team that I want to see👍.

23 Apr 2019 12:38:44
Coldo Defoe has more experience and a better football brain than Morelos, Saying that if Morelos could just screw the nut, Rangers would have a gem off a player, But I can’t see him playing at Ibrox next season, Any offers over 10 mil it’s a know brainer,

23 Apr 2019 13:33:59
No brainer.

23 Apr 2019 14:29:54
Yip cunny, you can see why defoe has played at the top level all his career👍.

23 Apr 2019 19:57:59
Hearts in mouth every single time he goes towards the ball with a defender, not worth the bother, RANGERS are far better with Defoe in the team, as evidenced by the fact last few games have been best of the season, including after morelos was sent off at the glitter dome.

22 Apr 2019 20:57:38
Is it really possible Celtic drop points in every game before the old firm? that would put Rangers within 2 points of them before the big game.

22 Apr 2019 21:45:19
Lets hope they do and we win all ours.

23 Apr 2019 07:13:33
I've heard that the helicopter is being dusted down ready to move out of the hangar. Could be another memorable 'helicopter Sunday'!

22 Apr 2019 13:37:48
This season is finished now a lot of people being optimistic which is great this time last season was a different case where we didn’t no what would happen next season, looking to next year drop out the silly mistakes and games then like this season the league would be ours too lose as Lemmon will hopefully be there manager next season only thing that will cost him his job with the manky mob now will be a hammering in the old firm which could certainly happen as we played them off the park with 10 men!

22 Apr 2019 10:47:19
I wish some of our fans would stop throwing in the towel. This ain't over yet. We WILL win all of our last games. Killie or the Sheep beat them and it goes to the final day!

🚁.

22 Apr 2019 12:17:51
I would absolutely love that to happen, as much as I think we can and will win our remaining 4 games, I don't see them dropping enough (although they will drop more) . I can't see the sheep beating them at the piggery as if the sheep win that won't consign us to 3rd this year like last season. Although as big Marv says, keep believing.

22 Apr 2019 12:31:16
Ibrox, as much hate to say it, think your being over optimistic. The main plus this season is hopefully now we have settled manager and now settled team. Even for inaugural season believe SG done wonderfully. You could say bit late, but late in season gers seem to be gelling. Still believe while gers improving, tic remaining static and perhaps resting on laurels. I'm already looking forward to new season.

22 Apr 2019 12:33:04
Absolutely love the fact u have that little bit of hope.

22 Apr 2019 12:40:34
It isn’t going to happen. They will comfortably beat Kilmarnock next weekend. A Kilmarnock team who had 3 players sent off on Saturday and will miss match. I also can’t see Aberdeen doing anything against them best you can hope for is a draw which together with a win against Kilmarnock will see them home.

22 Apr 2019 12:42:50
SirStruth

Aberdeen play them at home not that it will make much of a difference.

22 Apr 2019 14:19:04
Ray, believe hope is not all we have but am realist.

22 Apr 2019 15:32:38
The rayman99.Here's a prediction for you pal. If your board appoint popcorn teeth as your new permanent manager, you won't get 9iar never mind 10iar and i genuinely believe that, no doubt in my mind whatsoever!
Every bear wants neil lemon to be appointed your new manager, trust me.
Whoever it is has a rebuilding job and we i feel will take advantage of that and win the title next season.
Enjoy the rest of the sunshine my friend, your dominance is coming to an end!

22 Apr 2019 15:45:55
It would be amazing if it went to last day but I can't see it to be honest👍.

22 Apr 2019 18:29:52
Supercoop you all love a prediction on here how many have worked out?
Zero.
Just like your predictions on your sponsor u get it wrong every time lol.
Every Celtic fan wanted Stevie G and we have been proven right. Won nothing again.
Keep it up.

22 Apr 2019 18:39:08
Rayman, what a wallpaper and you have him by the haw bawz Coop😭😜🇬🇧.

22 Apr 2019 19:57:27
C of I . Ahahahahahahha! It's the hope that'll kill ya! lol!

22 Apr 2019 20:36:54
Not sure with all the pending court cases and potential compensation that sevco rangers will be around next season to stop our second nine.

In king we trust.

22 Apr 2019 22:40:46
Easy pickings these nuggets, yately1.They can now remove the size 8 fishing hooks, from their gubs. I can smell their fear, as they know,
don't let them kid you, that their club is going backwards 😂😂. We're coming! Talking about smelling fear, can we all club together and buy the breezeblock boulevard bhoys a stake holding in lynx deodarant? We and they all know why!

23 Apr 2019 12:13:08
he got three of them out in the sunshine. impressive and correct!

Review Of The Day 22nd April 2019

22 Apr 2019 07:29:06
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 22nd April 2019

22 Apr 2019 01:21:21
Looking at that guy Polster reminds me of a young John Greig ( looks only ) there’ll only be one John Greig, what a player he was, I only say him in his latter years, but even then he was fabulous, has anyone on the site seen him in his heydays?

22 Apr 2019 07:53:05
Morning Ulsterman. I had the pleasure of watch Greig many times as part of that great half back line of Greig, McKinnon, Baxter. Greig had everything. He could tackle, was a good passer of the ball and above all a great leader on the pitch. Who could forget his winning goal against Italy at Hampden Park in 1965! He only ever played for the Gers and grabbed a few goals over the years too. What I'd give to have a John Greig in the team today. A true legend.

22 Apr 2019 08:18:17
Like yourself Ulsterman, i only got to see john greig playing for us in his latter years. But what i did see, stayed with me growing up and going to see the rangers. They don't make players like john greig anymore. Hard as nails he was and a terrific captain, of the famous! Greigy had players terrified of him in the tunnel, before they got near the park and boy he could back it up and some. Mr. Rangers and voted by all us bears, as the greatest ranger of all time. Quite rightly so.

22 Apr 2019 10:14:27
Had the privilege of seeing Greig in his prime Ulsterman. If he had been captain this season a lot of the games we weren't playing well he would have let his teammates know. A true legend of the club.

22 Apr 2019 12:17:43
Ulsterman, only saw Grieg in latter years but a REAL captain, one who Tav could try emulate. Grieg will always be a God to those lucky enough to have seen him lead gers.

22 Apr 2019 17:10:12
Think he most definitely could be a future RANGERS captain, !
Tommy.
