Just for a laugh, if you won 100 mill on the lottery how much if any would you donate to our club, I would give 30 mill, and say it had to be used on players.

22 Apr 2018 22:03:04
I'd give the bored an ultimatum if all of you can club together and get £20million together between all of you just for players I'll match another 20million myself so we could have 40mill to spend just on players alone

22 Apr 2018 22:27:43
You could just about buy the club for that much.

22 Apr 2018 21:05:29
What's your thoughts on this bears.

Last season, Murty's first Old Firm game, the 1-1 game. Murty went 442 and pressed high (pressed just like his two league Old Firms this season, god knows why they chucked that plan for the semi), he went with Miller and Waghorn and the game was even.

Why doesn't he play 442 again, but with Morelos and Cummings? Cummings is the type of player to take his chance in the big game and Morelos's work rate and badgering defenders is needed also.

Ps. I'm not one of these fans screaming for 442 all the time, infact quite the opposite. But Hibs also played that way yesterday and it worked well.

Thoughts? Who/ how do you think we should play?

22 Apr 2018 19:56:02
Graham Potter . would love this to happen.

22 Apr 2018 20:24:20
Why would you love this to happen he hasn’t proved he’s done anything as a manger don’t get what all the fuss is about graham potter

22 Apr 2018 20:35:31
Could be our Dalia. big business in Scandinavia doesn’t mean anything over here

23 Apr 2018 02:55:17
Delia won 2 titles in a row, and a couple of cups, you lot would sell yer grannies for that type of success.

23 Apr 2018 07:20:55
Tbh a monkey could have done even better given the opposition. Deila was a fair manager and by all accounts a nice bloke to be fair but never ever will be top class. A bit like Stuart McCall for us. Couldn't handle the pressure

Fraser Forster

22 Apr 2018 19:13:45
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new player profile about, Fraser Forster

22 Apr 2018 18:50:36
smodge81 silent protest from union bears i heard. hows you mate not seen u in years.

22 Apr 2018 18:08:52
Like a lot of us in the copland road stand today, we thought rangers performance was flat in the 1st half and much more at it, in the 2nd half! We played well in the 2nd half against hearts, who incidentally are a poor team! We played fast with high tempo energy in the 2nd half, with zip and a cutting edge to our play! Thought 2-1 absolutely flattered hearts to be honest! Thought candeias, murphy, cummings, holt all played well and the effort was clear, which of course it should be with any player wearing the famous rangers shirt! I've left graham dorrans to the last here as he had a terrific 2nd half for us! Dozza covered a lot of ground and is getting fitter! He dominated the midfield today and everything came through him! His passing was crisp and precise! He hardly wasted a ball today and was my MOTM! In the 2nd half it was arguably dozza's best dominant performance for us, since he signed! what's other bears take on this?

22 Apr 2018 18:20:02
Today was best summoned up by the banners displayed by a section of our support. A win against a quite shocking Hearts side changes nothing. Where was all this effort last week? One thing playing better against a rotten team but another doing it against better sides. Let’s see how good the players you mentioned are next week. We only beat the worst team in the top 6 today and even then we made it tense for ourselves

22 Apr 2018 19:01:49
I thought Dorrans was a cut above every player today showed his class. I think Candeas got it for his goal and assist.

22 Apr 2018 19:03:29
I thought Candeias was best player on the pitch poor first half bit better in second poor crowd and silent take heed the board the natives are restless

22 Apr 2018 19:04:34
Supercoop, Must agree. The 1st half I think the players were afraid to make a mistake and played the safe game. Second half they came out with a bit of belief which must have came from the dressing room at half time. Dorrans IMO was MOTM. Windass again was posted missing, when he was in the game his decision making was poor. I've always thought we get into great positions down the wings but our delivery into the box from there and from corners is often poor. Personally I would have had Goss on and drop Windass, play Dorrans further up. Alnwick looked nervous, get Wes back asap. that's the minimum we expect every minute of every game, all visiting teams should be going home with a scelped arse.

22 Apr 2018 20:12:46
Thought Candeias was motm but Dorrans had great game. Wee Holt played well as well.

22 Apr 2018 20:36:42
Let’s hope we are all as lavish in our praise of these players this time next week.

22 Apr 2018 20:42:59
Aye we get it. The 2nd half. 5 times you said it

22 Apr 2018 22:42:26
ArthurD, you don't need to tell me how bad we were against them last week! Each game has to have an honest assessment and see it for what it was! Of course the least we bears should expect is effort against them next week and high pressing! Honour where honour is due and credit to the manager and players today, especially 2nd half! You should try it my friend! SHARPSHOOTERSPOM, git a life instead of obsessive scrutiniseation mate! We were at it in the 2nd half (6
times) my friend, not that i'm counting, honest! Some folk, honestly!

23 Apr 2018 08:36:48
TjBb. Totally agree about Windass. Contribution was poor AGAIN. summed him up when late in 2nd half should have passed to Cummings but no went for glory and shot staight at keeper.
Not a team player.! #

22 Apr 2018 18:02:00
I was speaking to a member of Motherwell coaching staff about the big CB kipre I think unsure of spelling. Think he would be a great signing for us only 21 and getting better all the time. Only saw him at the semi final and looks good. Never lost a header all game and strong in the tackle. Would like to see him and maybe Kyle Bartley or in dream world Grant Hanley.

22 Apr 2018 18:06:49
In your dreams we sign Hanley? Hate you see your nightmares😂

22 Apr 2018 18:20:39
Hanley your dream centre half OMG

22 Apr 2018 18:21:47
Hanley. Dream signing? You been on the sauce? Cart horse imo.

22 Apr 2018 18:31:09
Hanley is shocking no better than Martin I wouldn't mind kipri tho

22 Apr 2018 18:48:52
Went for 6 million. We are no longer I in that market. Who was last player to cost us over 6 million

22 Apr 2018 18:50:18
Dream Venter half would be way better calibre. I grew up watching butcher but we are not the same rangers. Won't be that rangers without a new owner

22 Apr 2018 18:54:00
Just to clarify Hanley is not dream player just out our price range

22 Apr 2018 19:08:00
We'll never be that Rangers again. The footballing world has changed and we've been left behind. That days of us signing the England captain will never return

22 Apr 2018 19:23:04
Totally agree. Need to shop smart follow Celtic example with likes of wanyama van dyke buy cheap let them show what they can do and sell for good momey with a sell on clause. Need to protect youth better to. I know we can't compete financially with English pl club's but first team football is a key to keeping the youngsters

22 Apr 2018 19:45:59
I read somewhere that man city and Norwich were keeping tabs on Barjonas. You would think if he is good enough for Man City to be interested he should be at the very least on our bench. This is going to be another good boy we will lose cause he's not getting a chance.

22 Apr 2018 19:55:03
Guys we have just let future Scotland and currently the best central defender at Ibrox leave the club because we would not offer him a first team wage.

22 Apr 2018 20:13:49
Bankie, behave yourself! David Bates will NEVER be a future Scotland Captain! He will end up another Kirk Broadfoot, ie limited ability!

22 Apr 2018 20:45:06
Grant Hanley makes Russel Martin look like Madini

22 Apr 2018 22:09:05
Who TF is Madini - are you on about the great Madini that works in Blackpool as an escape artist.

22 Apr 2018 17:43:04
Couldn't make the game today but listened on BBC.

How many times did they go on about our fans getting on the teams back after 10 mins of poor play?

Teams set up to nullify our play knowing tne the Ibrox fans will start booing which will put more pressure on the team.

Whether the players are good enough or not it does not help when our own fans are on their case. support the team to the end no matter the score on the pitch.

22 Apr 2018 17:57:44
I’m assuming that the disagrees mean that you will boo the team even if it makes us play badly?

In other words, you don't actually care if we will or not so long as you can have your say.

I’ve said it before, supporters support the team through thick and thin especially on the pitch. The fans can be the extra man that we need when things are tough. we don’t need to be a man down because the fans are working against the players

23 Apr 2018 21:17:58
I disagree because I was at the game and there was no booing.

I'm sure there would have been if hearts had taken lead, but after a disgraceful performance like last week they'd be within their rights to vent.

I do believe in general we are quick to turn, but it's born from frustration and expectations.

Hopefully, this is the last season of the slow road back, starting with a credible manager.

22 Apr 2018 17:42:26
I find it funny how people use this page just to doubt any rumours that's posted I think this is a rumours site if I'm not mistaken, I enjoy reading the posts and hope for great signings I think we have enough hassle from Celtic fans hijackking our page just to cause sh**.

22 Apr 2018 17:28:57
When Morelos arrived he looked like a goal hungry poacher in tandem with Miller. Since Murty took the reigns he’s been asked to do a lot more, and while he’s better all round than Cummings his form and confidence have really suffered from this.
Watching him warm up today not only highlighted his poor morale and attitude but the fact he was Billy no mates suggests he doesn’t have any friends in the dressing room and perhaps they’ve taken Doc’s side on that particular set to.
Every striker misses sitters, Cummings, McCoist etc it’s all about how they respond, and earlier in the season he was missing easy ones but still getting there to score the harder ones.
It’s somewhat stereotypical but South Americans/ Latins are renowned for their petulance/ temperament. It’s also unfortunate that even when he’s happy he looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp.
Ultimately I think he’ll be sold in the summer but I think we’ll be lucky to get £5m+ for him.

22 Apr 2018 17:50:40
I don't think they'll be any bids for him in the summer

22 Apr 2018 18:19:40
Fair enough Mike, if we ignore my last sentence would anyone agree?

22 Apr 2018 20:07:36
Aye big marv. I like morelos if he could finish he'd be a real asset. Guy puts a great shift in up there on his own holding u up he needs a fin isherwood in beside him

22 Apr 2018 21:57:00
He’s really low on confidence at the minute. I agree he would suit playing with Cummings as a two. Windass as impact sub since he only turns up for 10mins a game anyway.

22 Apr 2018 16:46:27
Don't know if De Boer is the right man for us, think he is to much Mr nice guy, we need a manager with passion that will tell the players exactly what he thinks, a Bilic, Warnock type.

22 Apr 2018 17:02:43
Watched cardiff city last night grind out a result great fighting spirit in the team would take warnock as our next manager

22 Apr 2018 17:08:25
70 year old neil Warnock is the right man to take us forward?

22 Apr 2018 17:11:25
Watched an interview with Zaha today. When asked about de Boer he said he didn't think he had the players to play the way he wanted to at Palace. Much as I like dB I think he'd have the same problem with us.

22 Apr 2018 17:15:36
Gus, De Boer a nice guy as a Manager based on?

22 Apr 2018 17:45:46
I simply can't get my head around anyone wanting DeBoer as our next manager, what is the fascination? Murty is inexperienced but is also hungry. Can we afford to let him go? Why don't we give him a budget? He is passionate and determined and could be the answer. I truly think he'll come good.

22 Apr 2018 17:51:24
Last week was proof that Murty is the wrong man for the job

22 Apr 2018 19:22:38
Mikeger, there's no getting away from our poor performance last week but was Murty totally to blame? Tell me one player who played for the jersey. Murty is a novice whos been thrown into the deep end but i firmly believe he will come good. I also believe we should stay with a british manager who understands our style of play.

22 Apr 2018 20:23:26
I will hand back my season ticket if Warnock is appointed, he is an appalling person

22 Apr 2018 16:30:35
The most important thing today was 3 points and we got that

22 Apr 2018 17:02:01
This virtually guarantee 4th place

Only issue is if well win cup. Although I believe we will win at least two more games and finish 2nd

22 Apr 2018 16:06:46
After last week performance and the carry on with miller / Wallace I wasn’t surprised the atmosphere was like that, even the blue corner weren’t singing think most fans we sending a message to the board that this season has just not been good from top to bottom at the club.

22 Apr 2018 16:50:57
The Union Bears had a silent protest and rightly so. The fans are treated with utter contempt by this board.

22 Apr 2018 17:04:37
Definately ldm17 think it's about time they were honest about the plan to get us the mess were in

22 Apr 2018 17:18:22
Don’t disagree mate. I won't be renewing my ST until I know who the new Manager is.

22 Apr 2018 18:18:26
I already said the same further up the page mate mine and my wee boys are not getting renewed chucked money blindly at it for too long. Our fans have backed the club phenomenal well we deserve so much better

22 Apr 2018 15:39:15
Does anyone know where foderingham and Bruno were today? . they were on the bench

22 Apr 2018 15:45:19
JCgers, they were both injured.

22 Apr 2018 15:50:45
Can somebody tell me why there was no atmosphere at the game to day plus good to see Alnwick get a start job done ✅

22 Apr 2018 16:19:31
Silent protest. But the board won't care unless attendances fall. We can pay to go every week to do a silent process but all they will hear is £££s.

22 Apr 2018 16:26:39
Union bears protest against the board.

22 Apr 2018 16:41:17
Someone want to explain how this agree/ disagree thing works? I made a comment as to Fod and Alves being injured, and it gets 3 disagrees? Do people know better then?

22 Apr 2018 16:52:13
Sir Struth, Murty said everyone was fit on Friday. Unless they trained and got injured yesterday?

22 Apr 2018 17:11:07
Don't worry about the agree/ disagree buttons people use them as like/ dislike buttons as well

22 Apr 2018 15:15:55
Does everyone think that cardoso is that bad that we are playing a right back and a dcm in there . Martin is awfull at centre half. Mcrorie also struggling . I personally think he is better than Martin

22 Apr 2018 15:27:09
I prefer Cardoso to Martin

22 Apr 2018 15:59:48
Wish we would play McCrorie in midfield although don’t suppose that that was an option today if Alves was injured. I think he would do a good job next week in the midfield.

22 Apr 2018 16:14:53
We could have played mccrorie in there and played cardoso at centre half.

22 Apr 2018 15:08:03
Obviously pleased with the result today and the performance was ok, Hearts were very poor though and offered little threat, I thought they’d be after us today.

One thing I was raging about was that Windass shot about 70mins. Pure greed can be the only reason he never slipped Cummings in for a tap in and then they went up the park and nearly equalised. That would’ve been a disaster and he better buck up his ideas moving forward. I won’t hold my breath!

22 Apr 2018 15:26:46
Hearts were awful can’t tecall seeing a team give the ball away so many times in dangerous positions and not get punished. 2 extremely poor teams today

22 Apr 2018 15:35:29
Windass was a waste of a jersey today, if it’s not a ball in behind for him he’s not intrested in it . could have put Cummings through for a 3rd instead he has a wasteful shot he’s just not a team player

Thought wee holty was good along with dorrnans and I hope murty sticks with Cummings for next weeks game

22 Apr 2018 15:35:29
Windass plays for himself not the team. Cummings could of had a hatrick today.

22 Apr 2018 15:47:26
Wouldn't hold my breath in Cummings starting next week although I think he should. Think Murty will put Morelos back in.

22 Apr 2018 16:06:06
Windass should never picks the right option and Morales is just the same, greedy for glory, lucky to get £1milliom for him. also need 2centre backs who know how to defend

22 Apr 2018 16:25:14
Windass frustrates the hell out of me all the above posts I agree with but for some reason I think there's a player in there. don't know why but I do.

22 Apr 2018 14:38:14
Ive said it before and ill give my opinion again. I feel Murty will be our manager next season. Given some support and finance then why not?

22 Apr 2018 14:45:45
Nope . he won’t be our manger next season

22 Apr 2018 15:00:16
I hope not.

22 Apr 2018 15:13:45
Ive said it before and i also think that murty will get the job on a 12 month rolling contract although he's not my choice.

22 Apr 2018 15:22:15
Wouldn’t put past our invisible chairman to go for the cheap option, but not for me.

22 Apr 2018 15:27:31
ar9

If that was the case then why hasn’t he been given the contact already?

22 Apr 2018 15:36:41
well for the good of the club we better hope you are wrong goalie
there is numerous reasons why he shuldnt get job.
Good result today but performance in first half was poor once again second half much better and need play that way all the time regardless of who we play.

22 Apr 2018 15:36:49
You would think if the board were wanting season tickets sold they would have annoinced who the new manager would be by now. The reason they haven't is because Murty will be in charge next season.

22 Apr 2018 15:50:34
Certainly hope not. Yeah we won today but we were poor, we were made to look good by a terrible hearts team who could still have came away with a point. If DK is even thinking about giving Murty the job he needs to look at the amount of empty seats today.

22 Apr 2018 16:34:21
Arthurd, maybe he hasn't been given the contract as possibly many supporters don't fancy him. And if supporters don't fancy Murty then season tickets may not be sold. King wants our money, sorry, needs our money.

22 Apr 2018 16:37:05
ArthurD
Its only my opinion but i think it may be because the board said he had till the end of the season and they want to get as many season tickets sold as they can hefore they have to announce if he is staying or going. As i say he's not my choice.

22 Apr 2018 14:20:52
Once again, i eould jusf like to highlight that Morelos is ROTTEN!

22 Apr 2018 14:39:27
Would ye aye!?

22 Apr 2018 15:37:48
He had 5 minutes and he was let down twice by blinkered teammates making poor decisions.

22 Apr 2018 13:56:33
I like the look of Alnwick in goal today. Good distribution and looks like he knows what's required. i'd let him keep the gloves for the next game.

22 Apr 2018 14:35:11
No holding play up, quickly back out with ball to attack and better distribution from kicks etc

22 Apr 2018 13:07:41
34 minutes in and a good bit of posession today but as usual nothing to show for it. This has been the same all season at home till the away team gets 1 chance scores and shuts up shop.

22 Apr 2018 14:37:24
Better performance in the second half today, we look a better team when we move forward at pace, but need to be more clinical around the box and in it. candeais corners are poor, would like to see john taking them from that side, send a few inswingers in with his left foot!

22 Apr 2018 13:04:05
really defensive hearts side that only plays on the counter and we still go with 1 up top murty is clueless get that man a taxi.

22 Apr 2018 12:51:27
I hope our board are watching this today it's a look at what the crowds will be and worse if there is no change just shows depth of despair last week caused the fans
What do we get, some half arsed statement about being ahead of the curve.

22 Apr 2018 12:50:54
Hearing rangers will sign Cummings and Murphy, will go back in with a good offer for Jordan jones from killie, also looking at mulumba from killie, another target we wanna bring is Lois moult bk to Scotland, personally think Cummings and moult would be lethal up front, looking in to James mcarthur on a free along with Scott Arfield, what just leaves the back line to be sorted? Anyone heard who we looking at, wouldn't mind Souter from hearts as a Squad player, backroom are fully award we need a major re shuffle and we will see 8/ 9 players coming in and a few be shown the door.

22 Apr 2018 13:51:22
Agree with most of what you say bar Moult he hasn't cut it at Preston so not sure getting thrown into our madness would help McArthur on a free still think wages would be an issue

22 Apr 2018 13:56:17
Souter as a squad player lol u saw our defence boy would stroll into our team

22 Apr 2018 16:09:03
Hearing from who?

22 Apr 2018 12:33:57
Well done to those with the banner at the game today. Got it spot on and reglects how many of us feel.

22 Apr 2018 15:10:33
ar9 what did the banner say? Didn't make game today.

22 Apr 2018 12:01:58
It’s all about mental strength today. There’s no time for passengers or egos between now and the end of the season.

Fight for every ball, have belief, be determined in possession and steadfast in defence.

I’m fed up of the sob stories coming out of Rangers. If you don’t possess the bottle and desire to be a winner then leave.

Onwards and upwards fellow bears, we’re due a result from our players today after everything that’s gone on, regardless of what side you believe.

Home form and commitment to being a Ranger has lacked in every single part of our playing staff and board this year.

Go out, starting by today and secure us second spot by now and the end of the season and give us back some pride.

22 Apr 2018 11:54:54
Team for today:
Alnwick, Tav, McCrorie, Martin, John, Holt, Dorrans, Candeias, Windass, Murphy, Cummings. Wrong team again - McCrorie is not a CB, Martin is pish, Dorrans out of position, and Cummings no good as lone striker.

22 Apr 2018 12:06:31
Who would u play instead Martin and mccrorie at he back

22 Apr 2018 12:10:14
Alves should be in with Mcrorie as DM

22 Apr 2018 12:11:04
Murty obviously hasn't learned and he's totally oblivious to our frustrations. The system hasn't worked but yet again he sets up with a lone striker.

22 Apr 2018 12:15:39
I'd laugh if Cummings scored a hat-trick today!

22 Apr 2018 12:16:37
Thats probably because the man doesn't know what he is doing. Should have been removed after the display against celtic in the semi.

22 Apr 2018 12:17:32
Holt gives ball away for one goal last week and then gives away a penalty so he starts ahead of docherty this week

I don’t understand that one

22 Apr 2018 12:18:54
Jboy17, Alves should be in ahead of Martin and he'd guide McCrorie through.

22 Apr 2018 12:25:49
Surprised that both Martin and Candeias start with Halliday on bench. How bad does Martin need to be to be dropped?

22 Apr 2018 12:31:28
I agree about McCrorie not being suited at cb but I think murty had to make changes today and I'm happy with most of them.

22 Apr 2018 13:07:45
Alves is injured again. Sir struth

22 Apr 2018 13:12:49
Sir struth u say u want mccrorie def mid, who r your two centre backs

22 Apr 2018 13:21:30
ArthurD who would u play instead of him

22 Apr 2018 11:38:56
hi fellow bears . i see that there are still a lot of calls for us to find a good british / scottish manager for our club? well looking at arsenal latest betting they only have 2 english managers in the top 20 of the betting order sean dyche or eddie howe and before anyone says brenda i have stated good manager. i think we won't have much choice but to perhaps go with a manager from outside uk and ireland.

22 Apr 2018 11:54:16
I don't care where they come from aslong as they put a team on the pitch that want to play and win for him and are going to give 100% for teammates

22 Apr 2018 11:04:12
Can't believe I'm writing this but read a report from Sutton (total prick) on the newsnow website yesterday about the situation last week and what's going on at our club and he was spot in with everything it was the players on the park that let our club down people feeling sorry for haliday he was rubbish, I like Murty but think he needs guidance from someone like a Gus Hiddink teach him the ropes don't forget he was only a under 21 coach, also might get slated hear but our club hasn't got the attraction anymore with what's gone on in the last 6 years, in a poor league and all the turmoil recently think it will put a lot of people off, we need a massive win today to get everyone back on side and union bears please don't remain silent.

22 Apr 2018 11:47:57
Its time for us all to stand up and be counted, Union Bears, the Blue Order, ALL of us, let's support our team to a european spot.

I don't watch them or any other Scottish football for that matter but people talk and I think as there European form would suggest if you attack that Celtic team they are at sixes and sevens because it takes them right out there comfort zone (they aren't used to being attacked)

That last disaster I watched we showed far to much respected, sat in and looked scared, attack them they aren't used too it .

I think shirt sales will help us a lot this year because we know we are making money for the club . If you want to sell season tickets bring in a manager the fans can believe in over to you Mr King and the rest of the board .

22 Apr 2018 09:24:07
Spot on. that's why i was shocked with the negative tactics last week. We had them on the ropes at ibrox. We just didn't take our chances that day but on another day could have won. Hibs played a high pressing attacking game and won. We need to do the same next week.

22 Apr 2018 10:31:27
murty doesn't know how to set up an attacking side other teams don't need to have us watched or watch dvds of our last game because they already know how we are set up, murty should have been given his jotters after the unwashed game he has lost the whole dressing room players have no respect for him the job is far to big for the man not a tactical bone in his body sad but true

22 Apr 2018 10:57:31
Yep that's why he should have went months ago and y we r struggling for second place. The reason why Jimmy Nichol can't work with him. Refuses to take advice off the old head that was brought in to help him.

22 Apr 2018 08:04:55
Its alright banging on about having a decent manager and having the right one in place but has anyone actually thought what if the decent managers don't want to come to rangers. Put yourself in their shoes and think is it worth it with a board that seems to be clueless and have no long term plan in place

22 Apr 2018 09:33:29
That might be the case however the club still needs to and attract someone or are you saying we settle for Murty as there is no other suitable candidate

22 Apr 2018 09:46:04
What about Martin Jol? Been out of work for a few years, premiership quality manager.

22 Apr 2018 10:36:36
Murty isn't the answer but who else will take the position when we have a board who are clueless to what is needed. It's obvious the boards ambition doesn't match the supporters and with limited funds available having a half decent manager is only pipe dream as they will want a huge salary and I can't see king and his cronies putting their hands in their pockets and funding it. We are being run with the buiscut tin mentality and need serious investment and with the current board in charge that's not going to happen anytime soon

22 Apr 2018 11:47:39
You're wrong Robbie. We're not been run with a biscuit tin mentality. If we were we'd be in a much better position than were in now. The biscuit tin mentality laid the foundations for Celtics current strong financial position. We are lashing every penny we have totally irresponibly it just happens that we don't have very much money to lash

Review Of The Day 22nd April 2018

{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 22nd April 2018

22 Apr 2018 05:31:50
Rewind to 5 weeks ago and we were (well) dreaming that we could potentially win the league which wasn't out with the realms of possibility. In my opinion Celtic are no great shakes and are beatable? . we end up getting beat by them and well the rest is history! Our home form has been the undoing of us from the start of the season. i am not a graham murty fan nor a detractor however if we would have won the last old firm league game (who knows) football fans (myself included) are very fickle. I know that there still needs to be some sort of change at the club getting back to our roots ie be dignified and have proper leadership from top to bottom but we are not a million miles away. However the next few weeks, months could be defining in our history (however I will always love RANGERS) rant over cheers.

22 Apr 2018 02:42:21
Wish some of us on this website would begin to remember that winning is winning and second is nothing. I know we were spoiled in the 90's and early noughties but we can't allow ourselves to start settling for second this year or next. We demand more because we as a fan group invest our time, money and soul for the club we love. Them from the other side can shove their tainted titles. We will stop 10. One good management team that can actually identify we need minimum 3 CB and a GK. Wes hasn't been terrible, far from it. But he's not good enough to wear Woods, Goram or Klos' gloves. Bring back McGregor for free in the summer and lure a few good steady no nonsense CB to the club.

22 Apr 2018 11:50:45
I agree with what you say about Fod. He pulls off some great saves but let's a lot of lo g range shots go in. He never really makes any obvious changers which is why people think he's better than he is

22 Apr 2018 14:04:01
I'd say there's 7 or 8 more important changes than the gk position. We'd be a lot worse off the last 2 seasons if not for foderingham

22 Apr 2018 01:19:57
Kinda sick of comments about possible replacement players being possible Catholic or whatever. Irrespective of background I don't care. I grew up in staunch protestant times and watched awful Gers in 80s still refusing to play a Catholic. IAH I don't give a damn if we play 11 Eskimos as long as we beat them.

22 Apr 2018 06:28:50
Not something I’ve really noticed on this site tbh. Who are the posters that have said they don’t want catholics?

22 Apr 2018 11:24:32
Ive never noticed it on here but plenty of it on social media usually by clowns who can't move with the times it happens on both sides by are well out numbered by normal fans again on both sides,

22 Apr 2018 14:05:48
Not Catholic but it's on here every day I don't want him he's a celtic fan or whatever. I agree we the op I don't care who they support or who they areally if they improve us.

Hi Ed, poll time (serious poll) Bearmode asked for one the other day regarding a managerial appointment and I will list as many runners and riders as I can gather from the current suggestions/ betting. I don’t believe one was posted:

De Boer
Graeme Murty
Graham Potter
Steve Clarke
Sir Walter Smith
Neil Warnock
Alex Neil
Giovanni van Bronckhorst
Glenn Hoddle (please no)
Robbie Neilson
Any other Scottish manager
Any other night n Scot

Thanks Ed

Next Rangers Manager

22 Apr 2018 08:52:57
Good poll ed - it just shows you how divided our own fans opinions are - when from 12 possible selections votes have been cast for every option available- it just shows how difficult or awkward getting the right candidate can be - personally, from the options available I chose GVB- It will be interesting to see how voting goes -

22 Apr 2018 10:22:38
Thanks Ed, the last one should have read non-Scottish manager! Bloody auto correct on my phone 😡

22 Apr 2018 10:27:15
There isn't a stand out manager for me that we can afford. There just isn't a stand out a souness or dare I say it a Rodgers. I hope I'm proved wrong and the next guy comes in and transforms the club.
