Sunday’s game a real disappointment, we had the chances there again still not roofless enough pardon the punt
Thought we looked jaded
I am not going to look for excuses what a don’t like is our own fan’s slating the boy Itten whom got a whole 5 mins it takes time to settle some do quicker than others Ano we are desperate to not lose this season but remember it’s a marathon bears not a sprint stick together I have trust in our management team I really do!
Onwards to Thursday chins up we carry on 💙.

Unfortunately players don't have time to settle, that is the problem. We have a real problem at the moment with Roofe, Jack and Aribo out injured and we still lack a quality winger. We are also seeing that when teams rough us about we still lack bottle. So far Wilson's signings haven't exactly set the heather on fire. We need to be signing players that can walk straight into the first team and we are also now seeing that we don't have a good enough squad to cover injuries. If rumours are true and Morelos is sold we will be significantly poorer. We are seeing the quality that Kent has, that should be the minimum standard for any recruits and we need them in now.

I said this last year time and time again and now it's clearer than ever. When Jack doesn't play, we get bullied.

Now, it's obvious the ref was terrible yesterday, and the same in so many other fixtures, but all that means is we need to fight fire with fire. These teams give us no time on the ball in the middle of the park and snap at ankles every time they can, and far worse. Nobody even attempted to stand up to them.

We do not need another creative player as a priority. We absolutely need a physical midfielder with a no nonsense mentality. I'd go so far as to say we need a player who gets booked as a given every time he plays. Someone that other teams will think twice about going up against. Celtic have Brown and for all that he's been average at football over the years (and completely past it now), he's been exactly what's needed to win leagues.

coldo he definitely would. Jack over Davis yesterday would have been a massive improvement and I don't just say that in hindsight. Davis is still great with time on the ball but that was never likely yesterday. He would never have started had we had Jack available.

Jack, if fit would have been a much better option than Kamara.
For all his attributes as a midfielder, Kamara for me doesn’t control games or dominate the midfield. 👍
The problem yesterday was that we were let down by Kent, who most see as being pivotal in us winning the league.
I don’t personally as wingers in general can be very inconsistent. It’s why we always remember the good parts of their game because when they are on fire they are brilliant. But when they have an off day they are mostly rank rotten.
We need the full side to be performing consistently to win this league.
In my opinion we were let down yesterday by Goldson and Kent.

Rangers need to sign a few warriors with a bit of presence, getting a bit worried about the option of strikers. if Morelos goes we will be left with Roofe itten and Defoe, does not fill me with confidence if am honest, Goldson needs dropped, thinks he’s irreplaceable, and as for people slating Kent! He didn’t have the best of games yesterday but he can’t perform like that in every single mate, other players have to step up!

We lost yesterday because we didn't have the bottle to battle for the ball. While Goldson made a mistake which led to the goal, albeit there should have been an offside in the run up to the goal, it was his fellow centre back that was outmuscled and out jumped for the goal. Helander for me is a player that is good in European games but cannot cope with the robust play in the SPFL. We are also crying out for a box to box midfield player with a bit of a dig and a quality right winger. Arfield might have scored one yesterday but it was laid on a plate for him and he missed an absolute sitter later in the game which would have buried Hibs. We need to bring in a couple of players now that can walk straight into the team if we are to win the league this season.

Ed and John, I think one of the main problems recently with this forum, has been the infiltration by non-Rangers Fans purporting to be Rangers Fans, no true fan would besmirch our team the way some of these posters do. We of course don't need to all agree with one another that's what banter is, but down right rudeness in some of the posts is unacceptable. Keep up the good work folks, let's get behind our team, and see where it takes us this season.

My point is hagi is not a bad player the way people are writing him off is a joke. But saying that this will be the same people that said barisic was rubbish at one point aswell and look how that turned out.

I am continously defending Hagi because of what he brings to the team. He is a class act and I struggle to see how anyone can disagree. He is asked to find that final ball which he is constantly looking for but the pitfall of playing that role is that inevitably you concede posession quite a bit. People moan about no creativity and someone who can find the final ball but can't see that Hagi is providing that. His assist numbers so far this season are great. He should never have been taken off yesterday when we needed another goal. In the 10 mins before being taken off he assisted the goal, had a good strike at goal from distance, put Kent clean through and whipped a great cross across the face of the goal. He was our most creative and dangerous player at the point of being subbed.

Anyway, I've said at the start of this year we will win the league, we have improved.

One last thing, the cup final last year is the only good thing Gerrard has done? European run not count? Or does that not for the agenda?

Yesterday after we drew everyone. Blamed the same two players, yet Davis was muck, we had. glorious chances to win it. But its Tav n Goldsons fault.
Hell i even seen someone say barasic should be nowhere near the rangers team 😂😂.

“Hibs are not a bad team”, well the team cost £1.2m to assemble whereas Rangers team cost £20m so if we can’t beat a £1.2m team something is clearly wrong with our signings and we have wasted £18.2m. On the basis of money spend on players we should expect to beat Hibs 4-0 not scramble a draw. Obviously some on here are happy to accept mediocrity despite the huge gulf in spending power. I rest my case!

But with us going into the game the team in form, more so than hibs. We displayed that. I was playing yesterday so didn’t get to see it properly till after the game. So many questions need answered. I don’t even know where to start.

I 100% agree we should have at least have a cup for our efforts.
But the reasoning folk have is, oh we have a bigger budget or more expensive players so we should be beating them every time, its just not how it works. As i say, by that reckoning then Celtic should beat, us every single day and should go unbeaten year in year out. So that logic is horrific.

Aberdeen away-hibs away, one you'll accept a draw from the other you wouldn't, so essentially 4 points of of 6 in these two games would be acceptable buuuuut only if its the correct way. IMO a draw at hibs with their current form isn't the worst result, did we have chances to win it, yes. Their keeper had a worldie double save, we got unlucky with their goal being offside but it happens.
But again folk blame Tav and Goldson when others had worse games and errors yesterday, don't think Davis made a successful pass over 10yards. but he's mr rangers so its OK?
Im all for opinions but surely its got to be logically backex up. i'm not saying i'm always right or wrong or others are etc. But at least have some substance to it.

oh and also, we have better and more expensive players so should they not be good enough to win the game? So if that logic is correct then why is that Gerrard's fault?

Explain that to me. Remember these same players went 8 games without a goal conceded, so by your logic that was Gerrard's doing? We have had good runs in Europe, again must be Gerrard's doing? Can anyone explain why we splashed out on Itten and Roofe (4 year contract for the injury prone Roofe) Methinks club thought a second bid was imminent for Morelos which they hoped would meet the £20m valuation. Reality is, on recent months form Morelos valuation is closer to £5m so can't see anyone coming in for him. Stuck with 4 underperforming strikers!
