21 Oct 2019 18:38:35
Think it time for ojo to go and for Tav to be dropped. Not saying i want him gone, but he needs a little time on the sidelines. His game is way off just now. I also still think he should be played on the wing, he is not a defender. Worked for players like Henry and Rickson, why not Tav.

21 Oct 2019 19:45:37
Ricksen moved from RB to centre mid. Henry started a winger and moved to world class CF. Don't see the comparison to be fair. Tavs whole game going forward is pause for a 1-2 and then out run his man. Won't have that on the wing. He is a RB all day, just a limited one.

21 Oct 2019 20:02:25
I prefer wingers who can deliver into the box for strikers!

21 Oct 2019 20:34:00
Tav undoubtedly is on a poor run of form and probably needs dropped for a few games, but some on here want the guy hung, drawn and quartered. Give him a break . He's playing well below his form granted, but he's not murdered someone. Get behind the captain and i'm quite sure given time, he'll come out his bad run of form. He's a footballer, not a robot.

21 Oct 2019 20:50:17
Which one of the comments above suggested that coop?

21 Oct 2019 21:07:35
In general since yesterday on here the majority of posts regarding tav have been way over the top and i stick by my above post Snell. Have you read these posts since yesterday mate? Its been way too much and way over the top imo anyway.

21 Oct 2019 21:26:25
SGL look at the goals he has cost us simply not the standard we require.

21 Oct 2019 21:36:13
Tav has played a lot of games past three / four years . as many as anyone in Scotland I would imagine.

21 Oct 2019 21:33:39
I agree with you cooper.

22 Oct 2019 05:29:47
I agree that everyone makes mistakes but he's cost us single handedly a massive 3 points in Europe and cost us points in the league resulting in us dropping back to second putting them back in the driving seat.

I'm not going to rip him apart, but he is the captain and the one who is supposed to inspire the team, but he's having a dip in form and think he needs a rest.

Maybe he is in his own head, could all have started with the missed pens and getting worse.

Give him a couple of weeks off to sort it out and bring in Flanagan.

Borna is playing well enough at the moment to accommodate that.

22 Oct 2019 05:57:35
Gersman, i honestly now think its becoming a witch hunt against tav,
which is shocking IMO.

22 Oct 2019 07:58:09
For everyone saying Tav should be dropped, can we not see that, that is just not going to happen. He is the captain (granted, a poor one), but Gerard will not drop his captain. Same goes for Ojo, his loan is most probably like Worrall - if fit he will play. Like it or not, we're stuck with both in the team.

22 Oct 2019 08:39:02
i wouldn't drop him quite yet. I might play polster in deep midfield on thursday to assist tav defending tho, as we will need tav to get up the field with the ball amap.

22 Oct 2019 11:27:44
Well sir struts acceptance of finishing second again mb no cups.

22 Oct 2019 12:52:05
John25, I'm not accepting second best, just merely pointing out the reality of the situation. Nobody on here picks the team, Gerard does and there are certain players he just can't see past, and Tav and Ojo are just 2 of them. If we finish second, it will be because Gerard couldn't make the big calls which needed to be made.

22 Oct 2019 14:17:28
It’s not a witch hunt fans are just fed up with his constant mistakes which he isn’t learning from. Most fans want him dropped not hung drawn and quartered as someone suggested.

22 Oct 2019 14:52:39
Page is honestly full of wet blankets, Tav has been a consistent performer for years for us, he's had a few bad games and a couple costly errors (that's football), but the abuse is ridiculous, its October we're joint top of the league and there's plenty of goals and assist which he has contributed to help get us there. He is clearly the best right back at the club he offers great support going forward and he is the captain for a reason, cut the guy some slack and get behind him we're joint top of the league with plenty of games to go! Drop Tav is nonsense, he's just everyone favourite scape goat atm. We scored 1 goal on Sunday and tbh we were lucky to get that we were rotten, they hit the bar a few moments before their goal and that wasn't enough to wake us up.

21 Oct 2019 18:30:07
Who's all going to Porto to follow our team.

22 Oct 2019 03:46:06
Nope stuck at work. Having to wait till feyenoord for and away day. 3 nights booked in amsterdam.

22 Oct 2019 11:28:10
Good Paul I’m managing both.

22 Oct 2019 12:42:53
Amsterdam booked John for 3 days way our bus and can’t wait. It will be bonkers😮 Enjoy Porto bud🇬🇧.

22 Oct 2019 15:59:13
Yately cheers mate. Going with my boy to both.

21 Oct 2019 18:01:25
Just watched Hearts goal in slow mo from their kick out to the goal. Please watch on YT.
1. Hearts Keeper kicks it out long.
2. Katic and Ikpeazu challenge for the ball.
3. Ikpeazu wins the header which the bounces towards Tav and Goldson
4. The bounce was awkward and Tav was never getting there with feet or head.
5. Goldosn arguably could have had a kick.
6. In the end neither got it and the ball went thought for the Hearts player to shoot.
7. McGregor off his line with a terrific one handed save.
The damming part. When you pause the play at that point only one player is out of position, Steven Davis approx 6 to 7 yards away from his man Mashino and is almost just walking back.
8. Mashino picks up the ball unmarked and slots it home.
Verdict -
1.Cant expect Katic to win all headers against Ikpeazu, no fault.
2. Awkward bounce between Tav/ Goldson, Unlucky.
3. Still a good save and the onto the second phase of play.
4. Davis is lazy and way out of position leaving his man unmarked to score and made no effort to get to him until it was to late.
Davis 100% at fault for goal.

21 Oct 2019 18:13:36
Clutching at straws mate. Davis won't be that far back because he won't expect Tav to make such a meal of it. It's a chance that should never have been presented to the wee hearts guy who took it very well. Tavs fault 100%.

21 Oct 2019 18:13:43
It didn’t help Steven Davis played 90 minutes in a meaningless friendly in midweek! He’s 34 years of age and maybe he should be concentrating more on his club🇬🇧.

21 Oct 2019 18:14:43
So its davis fault and not tav's🤔👍.

21 Oct 2019 18:15:54
Tgbb still don’t see it the way you do. Tavernier at fault all day long.

21 Oct 2019 18:24:27
Tav at fault once again.

21 Oct 2019 18:27:24
Have you all watched on YT its clearly SDs fault. Who should have been marking Mashino. Watch it back and analyse it. Tav and Golsdon misjudgment/ bad luck did not lead to a goal it was saved, the second phase is were the goal came from and that's where your midfielders should spot any danger and burst a lung getting back and cover. SD didn't and we suffered. If i'm wrong please tell me who should have been marking Mashino.

21 Oct 2019 18:55:40
Tav should have cleared it to begin with, then it wouldn't matter who was marking who. You cannot be serious TJBB mate, tav is to blame. 👍.

21 Oct 2019 19:22:12
Sorry mate, have to agree with the rest. Yes SD did not track back but Tav should have cleared that. Tricky bounce but he should be on his feet and running toward goal. The ball could've bounced again and then he could have cleared it instead of diving to the ground and giving himself no chance at all.

21 Oct 2019 19:26:06
Coldo is right. Don't be questioning phases when you have a defender making such a balls up.

21 Oct 2019 20:02:46
Seems sportscenes Steven Thompson shares my opinion. His analysis video actually circles Davis and Mashino, maybe i'm no going daft after all.

21 Oct 2019 20:19:39
Never seen more of a Row Z requirement in my life. Tav at fault all day long. Badly misjudged ths header when a simple hoof into the crowd was the thing to do. I remember watching Carlos Bocanegra making a living out of it. When in doubt etc.

21 Oct 2019 20:28:53
A degree of truth in TJBB's comments. The scorer is left totally unmarked and that's where the goal came from. Tav/ Goldson mistake resulted in a good save from Greigs. After that there were 4 hearts players against 4 gers at our box edge and the lad finished well. I do think Tav is well off form, his deliveries have provided a huge amount of assists since he joined us. His confidence looks low and dropping him or stripping armband probably won't help him. He has 6 assists and 3 goals this season so far so he's doing something right.

21 Oct 2019 20:33:02
Put it into row z snd phase 2 doesn't matter a monkeys. Tav at fault all day.

21 Oct 2019 20:40:42
Get behind the full team guys. Tav made the mistake and not for the first time this season and he's going through a bad run at the minute. This happens but we win as a team and lose as a team. There was 2 or 3 passages of play that mistakes were made in, before tav made the final error, which led to their goal yesterday. Its gone now, let's back the team tav included and move on from this now becoming witch hunt of the rangers captain, james tavernier!

21 Oct 2019 21:44:09
TJ I wouldn’t use Thomson as back up to my argument . How on earth can you expect Davis or anyone to kn that ball is coming back into play? Easy to see on hindsight but every player on the planet pauses when a shot goes in . A non argument for me I’m afraid . Goldson or tav should have dealt with first ball . and Alex Rae agrees with that . That is someone who is playing better now at 50 than Thomson ever did in his Career ( in my opinion )

22 Oct 2019 00:00:04
well if sportscene says it.

21 Oct 2019 00:38:45
Coldo, there have been many a time where Tav was caught out of position and we suffered with many pointing this out, can't have it both ways. The second phase of play in football is crucial and all players have there jobs to do.

If one decides not to do their job then this is what happens. Shoulda coulda doesn't come into to football, the ball was not cleared first time therefore you need the midfielders to do there job, many a time the ball will not be cleared 1st time.

Jeeso if our players thought like that we would be losing a lot of goals. Davis was sucked to the header initially putting him way out of position (mistake) he then assumed the ball would be cleared (mistake) he seen Mashino unmarked in a dangerous position and made no attempt to get back into position (mistake) he/ we as a team underestimated Hearts desire which is highlighted by his casual jogging towards Mashino who was already on his bike (mistake) .

Mate I don't want to get into an argument with you i'm just watching the video in slow motion and writing down the time line. Tav was poor throughout the game but he was not responsible for that goal on his own and for the draw as a whole. Remember they were attacking us in this phase not the other way round.

It looked to me the Rangers team disrespected Hearts, thinking yes whatever just save it and pass to me the we will go up the pitch and score. If Davis was in position defending and marking his man rather than thinking about his next pass to Morelos, Mashino would not have scored. The whole team will be getting rifled. Remember SGs first training session "ALL yous pretending with these crazy little jogs in, watch the ball, we've got to win the ball all over the pitch, okay, get it in your heads NOW"

22 Oct 2019 03:47:43
Davis fault not Tavs hahha. Clueless.

22 Oct 2019 09:44:34
I can't agree with you TJBB, all tav had to do was clear the ball, if he did that at tynecastle and at young boys we'd be sitting clear at the top of the league and our euro group. Its as simple as that really mate. 👍.

22 Oct 2019 14:57:40
Paul86 - he has a slight point, Davis should have tracked his man, Tav makes a meal of Phase 1, ball should have been dealt with ( correct ) and Davis not tracking gifts them the opportunity at goal.

22 Oct 2019 15:41:18
Agree TJBB.

22 Oct 2019 22:50:07
Is there a a 2nd phase if tav puts the boot through it? Case closed.

21 Oct 2019 17:15:28
A lot of people over the last couple of years on here shouting out for Gers fan Ollie McBurnie to sign for the Gers before he became overpriced! Thank goodness we never made any attempts for him as first I don't think he's that good and his behaviour over Scotland team slagging and now drunk driving is very stupid by him! He better clean his act up pronto or he will waste his career pronto! #pull socks up an get a shave😭😤🇬🇧.

21 Oct 2019 16:00:31
coldo

You said we should have taken the 8mill from Newcastle I said we had missed the boat on that one you said we hadn't
What did you mean?

21 Oct 2019 16:05:29
Then I mentioned the chinese team deeb, I was being sarcastic because people had him worth more than tierney, wan bissaka etc. 👍.

Ask The Ed

21 Oct 2019 15:12:23
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new podcast entitled, Ask The Ed

21 Oct 2019 13:47:51
Ed,

Could we have a poll on how much the Bears think we could get for Tav?

Coldo reckons 8 million, I don't think we would get 1 million.

Shut one of us up on this matter.

{Ed033's Note -

Tav Price Poll

21 Oct 2019 14:36:48
Coldo doesn't think that at all deeb, where did you get that idea? I said newcastle were supposed to be bidding 8mil. I said we should take it. Not once did I say he was worth 8mil. I guess that shuts you up🤷‍♂️👍.

21 Oct 2019 15:23:17
Coldo is not one of the prolific posters on this site who has started £8m+ for Tav. As I’ve said already, the people on here continually saying he was the best RB in Britain worth Double Figure millions or should have been signed by Man U instead of WB.

21 Oct 2019 20:50:14
Give it a rest SRK! Your sounding like a broken down record now. I've explained what i said regarding how much i thought tav was worth and i can assure you and anyone else, it was nowhere near the £25million that you state! I said that going by the crazy transfer fees down in england that if wan bissaka was worth £50 odd million, was he 5 times the player tav was? Do the maths. I'll jog your memory and maybe the Ed can back me up here. I said when tav was playing well at the time that tav if he were to be sold, should be worth between £10-£12million! Not that he was better than wan bissaka! Hope this clears this up, now change the record, back the team, as we're all bears together, who i assume want the same thing for the famous glasgow rangers!

21 Oct 2019 22:01:53
No record to change coops, you didn’t state he was a £25m player but I promise you at least one person did.

You did make reference to Man U should have looked at Tav instead of WB because in your opinion Tav was the best right back in Britain. Hopefully now you can see why no EPL team would take him and certainly not for the cash we expected.

Again we had multiple people stating we should get more than Celtic did for Teirney.

This was a go at any one person but a general question of where are all the Tav lovers who made ridiculous statements all summer about an average player?

21 Oct 2019 22:30:55
Again i'm telling you that i didn't say tav was the best RB in britain and again i'm saying that the ED can confirm this and put your wrong statement regarding this, to bed and there is a record to change, YOURS!
You've stated your case with repetitive posts now. Give it a rest and move on now!

21 Oct 2019 22:45:15
20 Jun 2019 05:26:25
Manchester United have agreed to pay a record £55million transfer fee for a right back. They've agreed to pay crystal palace £55million for their right back aaron wan-bissaka, who incidentally is a very good right back. But they could have got the best right back in scotland, our very own james tavernier, for a fraction of the cost. They could have got tav for anything between £10-£12million. Tav is a better right back than wan-bissaka

Okay, you said he was the best in Scotland but the last statement honestly has me laughing out loud. Hopefully this clears things up for you coops.

Better than WB, as somebody did reply at the time, well done comedy gold.

22 Oct 2019 12:07:00
I'm still saying tav is the best right back in scotland, who's suffering a loss of form simple as that SRK. I didn't say tav was better than wan bissaka, but yes going on transfer fee values, i did say that man utd could have got tav for the fee i stated and so they could have, so what's your gripe here pal?

21 Oct 2019 13:06:58
Stevie g keeps on about squad depth. Why play arfield and aribo and kamara after international duty. Put them on the bench. Play fresh legs first. Midfield of Davis docheryy and Barker or king, with Morelos Stewart and Murphy up front. If no good get the 3 internationals or Kent on for the last 45. Also Tav is never a right back. Flanagan or polster RB and Tav in candeias position. he's cost us 3 goals in 2 games. Stevie g said if you don't perform you won't make the team. he's not performing. He also played bombscare worrall repeatedly after makin mistakes. i'm wondering why the team were in the dressing room for so long after the match and what was said.

21 Oct 2019 13:55:31
But Morelos was also on international duty.

21 Oct 2019 14:55:02
So was davis.

21 Oct 2019 20:38:43
If he's out of form, which he is, he should be out the team not in someone else's position.

21 Oct 2019 12:55:00
First class single from Glasgow Central to Liverpool Lime Street please

Customer name Ojo.

21 Oct 2019 14:41:53
Nice day, don't know cost but phone 0345 484950 (Nat rail enquiries) for full detail) .

21 Oct 2019 14:59:56
I'll drive him to liverpool👍.

21 Oct 2019 16:08:09
I’ll pay your petrol Coldo.

21 Oct 2019 17:09:26
The thing is I am actually shocked how poor a player Ojo is turning out to be. Liverpool thought very highly of him and am I missing at something? 🇬🇧.

21 Oct 2019 18:16:23
I don't know why you are surprised yately, I had him figured out weeks ago👍.

21 Oct 2019 20:01:31
If he would spend less time rolling his left shorts leg up every 5 minutes then he might achieve more. Not as quick or skilful as we all might have thought and he's definitely not someone to turn to when things aren't going well.

21 Oct 2019 12:06:42
Couldn't make last night but listened on radio and Gers pretty blunt. Could have counted number of outright chances on one hand and had good number fingers left. For amount of possession very non eventful. Not going to Slag Tav yet but he ain't outright full back.

21 Oct 2019 10:55:26
I get what tav brings to the squad, even though he has had some poor games this season so far. I still think pushing him forward with someone like polster who can play rb or flannagan taking the rb position and that allows tav to not worry asmuch about the defending side of his game. If SG continues to play Tav he will need to do something like that as he has cost us points and goals this season. Not just him obviously team has had some poor games and to be fair some amazing games. Tav can play up the right sitting far higher up with a rb behind him.

21 Oct 2019 11:10:07
Got to disagree with that flintytint as tavernier would still provide dismal crosses into the box! He is making school boy errors every week now. I’d also say tavernier is one of these players who would struggle with no one directly in front of him if he played further down the right. Time he was dropped!

21 Oct 2019 11:13:27
And who would we drop further up the pitch for tav? No one mate because isn't better than anyone we have further up the pitch, so its the bench for tav👍.

21 Oct 2019 11:48:47
Have to agree Bgate / Coldo. Tav needs dropped, Armband given to either Jack or Davies, It’s not that I don’t rate Tav I do, But he ain’t a Right Back, And at this moment in time he wouldn’t get into the midfield. I do think if the right offer comes in January he will be sold. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺👍.

21 Oct 2019 12:02:21
I said take the 8mil from newcastle and play flanagan🤷‍♂️👍.

21 Oct 2019 12:15:32
I think that moment has passed coldo.

21 Oct 2019 12:30:15
No it hasn't deeb🤷‍♂️👍.

21 Oct 2019 13:15:54
COLDO

Who would pay 8mill for Tav?

21 Oct 2019 13:19:05
Coldo. No one offered 8 million, lucky if worth 2 million.

21 Oct 2019 13:38:44
I know they never offered it jboy, there was paper talk that newcastle were going to offer it. I said take it. 👍

Deeb, some chinese club🤷‍♂️👍.

21 Oct 2019 15:26:55
Cool coldo, remember that’s exactly what it is paper talk, tav is one of the poorest right backs I’ve watched in a rangers jersey.

21 Oct 2019 16:06:23
I'll try and remember jboy👍.

21 Oct 2019 10:53:04
Did anyone else notice that when morelos got booked yesterday for frustration petulance or whatever people will call it, Gerrard subbed him straight away. Gerrard obviously had a lingering doubt that morelos potentially could get sent off. Just a quick point to those who claim alfredo's attitude had no affect on the team, now his attidude did not affect the team yesterday but gerrard took him straight off before it had the chance to. So Gerrard clearly knows that his attitude petulance has affected the team previously and as a precaution took him off👍.

21 Oct 2019 11:55:37
Coldo I thought exactly the same, But some off the tackles he was receiving would have been what you would expect to see at Murrayfield, Hearts are a dirty team, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺👍.

21 Oct 2019 12:06:31
He was getting the treatment cunny I wouldn't deny that, I am simply making the point mate to those that said morelos petulance attitude did not affect the team. When infact that was the very reason why he was hooked straight after getting the yellow. 👍.

21 Oct 2019 12:33:07
Morelos was subbed in the 81st minute I would think even if he was booked or not he was being subbed for Defoe just like has happened in most games this season, it’s his first league booking of the season god give the guy a break he has curbed his petulance but still some just can’t accept it.

21 Oct 2019 13:18:28
I can understand the boys frustration, though it should have been targeted at his toothless teammates. He carried our fight to them almost by himself, people like Ojo, arfield, aribo, kent gave next to nothing. When the going gets tougher he simply cannot be the only one prepared to roll the sleeves up.

21 Oct 2019 13:34:06
twacoos, he was hooked straight after he was booked because gerrard had a that niggling doubt. And you have misread the context of the post, its no a dig at morelos who has changed his attitude, its a dig at those who said his attitude did not affect the team. When infact he was hooked because gerrard was worried that he'd get sent off. 👍.

21 Oct 2019 14:34:59
nothing to do with SG always giving the strikers playing time?

21 Oct 2019 13:54:30
Coldo, This substitution, one for the other, happens in nearly every game. It was nothing to do with 'petulance' and had more to do with protecting the lad, who was taking a ridiculous amount of punishment.

21 Oct 2019 15:01:53
It was because he got booked and he was worried that he would get sent off. Don't kid yourselfs👍.

21 Oct 2019 15:28:38
Coldo were u at tynecastle, Defoe was already coming on for Morelos when Alf got booked. That was his first booking against a scottish team, give the lad a break.

21 Oct 2019 16:07:33
Jboy go and read my post again, its not a dig at morelos. 👍.

21 Oct 2019 20:44:11
Defoe was already getting ready before morelosgot booked coldo mate 👍.

21 Oct 2019 08:57:24
Thinking we will be champions without preparing and performing like champions is a form of complacency and the inevitable outcome is that we will never be champions. Hopefully we learnt the lesson yesterday.

21 Oct 2019 10:37:36
Continually playing players who are not up to it won't make us champions either. Hopefully you learned that yesterday. 👍.

21 Oct 2019 10:32:50
I’m confident that our manager is not a numptie and will learn lessons everyday whether we play well or not.

Even Man City and Liverpool have had off days.

Just get behind the team.

21 Oct 2019 11:02:52
We are not confident in you though DK, time and time again you are proven to be wrong in what you say👍.

21 Oct 2019 14:21:50
Coldo why don’t you go and be the manager as you seem to think your right in everything you say and no one else is allowed an opinion and everyone else is always wrong.

21 Oct 2019 15:02:38
I was right though gersman👍.

21 Oct 2019 15:30:17
Coldowhat would your eleven be, I’ll pass to SG when I next chat to him in west end.

21 Oct 2019 16:18:04
Mcgregor flanagan goldson/ edmundson katic barasic kamara jack davis kent arfield morelos/ defoe.

Next time to you see him tell him to send ojo back, give jack or davis the captaincy, stop dropping katic, tell aribo to move the ball forward quicker. Buy a decent RM. And buy players who actually make the starting 11 better. Tell him except kent no other signing improved our starting 11.👍.

21 Oct 2019 17:46:39
So Coldo, Katic got pass marks from you yesterday he was bullied and ran ragged by the hearts striker and I think I would leave the team to Gerrard to pick and not you.

21 Oct 2019 18:59:18
Katic got pass marks yes gersman. Its a pity I can't pick the team, we wouldn't have to suffer watching tav ohno aribo. 👍.

21 Oct 2019 20:47:09
Hardly got bullied and ran ragged gers msn. 2 big lads had a great battle thought katic played well you're never going to win every ball against s guy like ikpeazu. he's almost as wide as he is tall.

21 Oct 2019 08:24:08
You'd think we had fallen into the relegation zone after dropping points today. At the end of the day Hearts is always a tough place to go, they haven't beat us or won at home in a while so they were due a big performance. We were poor and yes we need to learn from that but we'd have dropped all 3 there last year, same as against Kilmarnock and St Mirren so there's progress. Still not convinced by Ojo and Tav probably does need a rest but to suggest the captaincy is removed because of a few poor games is tim behaviour. Last season he could do no wrong and in this he'll win us more than he'll loose us, something you can't say about Flanagan. Kent back and Jones/ Jack not far away, not all doom and gloom. let's Go!

Actually we took maximum 6 points there last year👍.

Baird, how can tavernier need a rest? After an international break which he obviously wasn’t involved with and only 9 games into league campaign? He needs dropped!

Poor poor performances today however some of the criticism is a wee bit over the top. We never lost we drew against a fired up Heart, who had all but been written off by nearly every news outlet in the country. I'm sure their manager didn't have much of a team talk apart from prove them wrong.

Now regarding us.

Totally agree that Tav needs a rest However I also don't think it's all his fault. His style of play normally means he is caught out of position. Last season, we had the candyman who's pace and ability to slot in and cover his position when he ventured forward allowing him that freedom. This season we don't have a player like that. Watching today game when Kent moved over to the right, I thought that Tavs play improved position wise all be it, his crossing was shocking.

Aribo and Kamara for whatever reason can't seem to play together. I'm not sure if it's because their styles are to similar. For me Kamara should be starting b4 Aribo as I feel that Aribo has still not fully adapted to the pace of the scottish game.

Ojo last 4 or 5 games has been poor and probably should have been dropped, however SG hasn't had that luxury as Jones, bran, Kent have all been injured and Murphs not up to speed yet.

SG selection at times. Arfield played 2 full international games and had a lot of travelling. Aribo, Kamara and Morelas similar travelling.

Now with that in mind

Defoe is fresh scores a hat trick then dropped. Stewart playing really well fresh then dropped. Polster when played in mid looked impressive. King why have signed him. Same with Docherty why bring him back to not play him.

As I said at start of post we never lost and are still joint top. Next week we have Hamilton at home they have the sheep up there. I fully expect a reaction against Hamilton and plenty of goals and think they will find it difficult up there as the sheep are finding a bit of form.

Keep the faith guys 55 is coming.

Next week Motherwell at home followed by Ross C away.

If we had not started with Arfield, Kamara or Morelos and got the same result there would be folk on here calling for SG to be sacked.

Plenty of similar threads on here stating just that for the Celtic game.

21 Oct 2019 12:07:33
Aribo, Kamara Morelos travel was very little stewartyblue.

Now that everyone had calmed down and most have agreed to either drop Tav or move him position why don't we give Polster a run? Surely got to be given a chance?
Again we bought King and haven't used him. he's got to be better than Kamara. I would love Docherty to get a chance but I don't know if the boys good enough. Thank god Kent is back. Ojo is awful.
But folks look at the bigger picture.
Ojo plays week in week out, Tav is captain and keeps his place despite his mistakes. Goldson is the favourite at CB. These choices are made by SG. He better start looking at the overall team as he hasn't seen pressure yet.

21 Oct 2019 10:35:23
AS, what did Kent do yesterday to show he should be on the pitch?

Couple of runs, a wayward shot, a few misplaced passes but did not affect the result in the way some on here bum him up for.

As a team, we were poor - we had 1 individual error that cost us a goal but overall if the team had played well we would have won.

21 Oct 2019 10:52:12
DK he is just back from injury. What do you expect? Played well? What game were you watching. We were awful. We were top of the league and bottled it against a poor hearts team. Many shots did we have?

21 Oct 2019 11:07:10
Brilliant DK, kent has missed the last 4 weeks through injury, he gets 30 min and he did more in the first 5mins than ojo has done in the last 4 weeks. Your continued defence of the indefensible is pathetic👍.

Agreed Caldo.
