Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

21 Jul 2018 21:55:35
Read a couple of reports from Mexico that Pena is doing well in training and his foster team are more than happy so far. Interested to see views if Pena got back to top form would you take him back?

21 Jul 2018 22:29:17
depends on the wage bill. over 10 grand an emphatic no.

22 Jul 2018 00:13:11
Not a chance.

22 Jul 2018 04:39:04
Wiped his nose with our shorts while sniggering so no.

22 Jul 2018 07:59:45
Absolutely not, after watching that video where he purposely cleaned his horrible stinking beak all over the crest of the rangers. You endear yourself to fans by doing well and kissing the badge not by being rotten and wiping your nose on it, not to mention he has an alcohol dependency which just puts that last nail nicely in his coffin. So it's a no from me he is rank.

22 Jul 2018 10:10:23
We are paying at least 10 k of his wage at the moment are we not?

22 Jul 2018 11:10:20
this beats all for stupid questions.

21 Jul 2018 21:43:53
did you see SG's face when he talked about rossitor's injury update. it was a very confused and I don't have a clue look. lost cause I feel and its such a shame.

21 Jul 2018 21:58:06
Let's believe in Morelos He has been playing as a loan striker which for one he is too small if we are lumping balls up to him

Once he has a striking partner and better supply and support he will bang in the goals no doubt

He needs to get that mental block out of his head, regarding the speculation of the Chinese team

It's past now He needs to get over this if he is to have another chance of another big break

Anyway teams don't get much bigger than Rangers and he is lucky he plays for our Jersey

It's just unfortunate that we don't play in the EPL.

21 Jul 2018 21:26:22
Ed I have come up with a brilliant idea . maybe it needs a poll. but can we have a separate posting section called RANGERS WINGES. then the rest of us don’t need to absorb the negativity of the neighsayers as it certainly brings us and thus site down. constructive points . constructive criticism yes. wingin thanks but no thanks . got rid of the wife for that.

{Ed033's Note - i take it that you didn't do very well in school (not that doing poor at school is a bad thing.)

21 Jul 2018 22:08:43
Not everyone lives in Dreamland molsgoals! We're not all deluded and believe everything that spurts out Kings mouth! We've been in this situation a few times now so us, as fans, have the right to voice our concerns and opinions, especially when it's our hard earned cash that's been keeping the club afloat!

21 Jul 2018 22:10:22
Aright ed you have to post my rant, totally justified though😂.

{Ed033's Note - Your rant is on the Rangers other posts page

21 Jul 2018 22:17:10
Nah Mols, its everyones differing opinions that make the site for me. And its a lot more level headed than a few other gers pages. are you saying you would rather only have posts that are saying everything is rosey all the time? I might not agree with all that's posted but whether its Rick Witters moans, Coops polls and constant use of! or DK17 just telling fans to pee off every opinion is of exactly the same value.

21 Jul 2018 23:26:06
Wow, no need for that Snell!

I never shut down positive commentators!

22 Jul 2018 00:06:05
I never said you did mate! haha

Naming folk was very tongue in cheek but i stick by my point that someone expressing negativity holds the same sway as your (inevitable 😉) follow up telling them to stop moaning. No matter the angle we come from its all based on the foundation of our passion for the club.

22 Jul 2018 11:27:48
Sorry ed predictive text . late in the evening and no glasses. presumed you would have understood that ( my excuse anyhoo) and anyway I thot this was a banter page and not an open university site. Its better using language that the not to much up top understand. Constructive criticism welcome . wingers ware you down so thus a section for wingers. I like lifelong and a lot of others on here are exasperated at times . especially when you read posts doubting and slagging the manager after a handful of games . lifelong had enough . there’s is a difference between winging and slagging and constructive positive criticism. but of course some people find That hard to understand. anyhoo am away back to my theasaurus lessons.

{Ed033's Note - If we're having a section for wingers, then maybe we should have a section for defenders as well.

22 Jul 2018 14:23:13
Brilliant very good.

22 Jul 2018 19:11:06
Ok just realised am a fud . well I realised that a long time ago but ok whingers . not wingers . took me a while.

21 Jul 2018 20:25:32
Early days I know but The fact we are now signing a fourth young player on loan doesn't do it for me we haven't had a loan signing that has managed to do well consistently since Steven Davis (different class) to me we are now starting see that there is a lack of money and ambition if there is money then surely there is better players out there to sign than young loan players.

Not happy that I think this but for me this squad will not qualify for the group stage of the EL.

I really hope I'm wrong.

21 Jul 2018 21:00:59
Well said FB1.

21 Jul 2018 21:01:55
We are signing Juniors mate need men om the ball.

21 Jul 2018 21:12:23
We’ve spent a decent amount already and are currently bidding a reported £3 mil on Cooper not to mention the wages for Arfield and Flanagan which won’t be peanuts I think the board have backed SG pretty well so far.

Sadiq, Ejaria and Coulibaly aren’t exactly juniors look at the size of them they are big physical players.

21 Jul 2018 21:20:29
It's pretty obvious that there's a shortage of money available to get the right players in, the whole fiasco with strip sales will only hurt that some more if not sorted out promptly! But we have to live within our means this time around and if that means going down the route of loaning in players then so be it! With most of them coming from top teams, Liverpool and Roma, then you have to think to be at these clubs then they are somewhat talented footballers, and only time will tell if they can make it in the SPFL and more importantly under the pressure that comes playing infront of a full house at Ibrox!

21 Jul 2018 21:24:34
I will be surprised if we reach the group stage. too big too soon. hope i'm wrong.

21 Jul 2018 21:40:56
To be honest gerrard wouldn't be getting these young loans in if they wernt any good he obviously sees them as better than we've got i say let them loose out in croatia nab an away goal happy days.

21 Jul 2018 22:11:51
Group stages will be a stretch and all fans should be realistic- every round gives the manager a bigger budget. I for one hope we get to four round. This would be a step forward, new team / manager . persons on here think we should be walking straight into group stages . Our manager is doing his best with limited funds and having to remove dead wood - give him time and support the team.

21 Jul 2018 23:19:20
Some teams make a loss in the qualifying rounds after paying travel and accommodation so I wouldn't say we are quids in with them. There's more money to be made in the champions league group stage than winning the Europa league.

22 Jul 2018 08:06:55
We won't qualify for the group stage, this mob are far better than the last lot we played and we struggled with them. I would love to be wrong but I just don't see it and in all honesty I am only interested in domestic success. Unless you get through to the group stage and beyond it's pointless because it's just extra games extra injuries and extra pressure. I like my bread And butter.

22 Jul 2018 08:34:45
Marco c rangers not making loss, 50k, sellout, to money, 250k for getting through, catering, corporate a million a game for us.

22 Jul 2018 13:54:53
Marco c - lose money 🤔 50k full House - tv and corporate at least 1m per round. Every round a bonus and as I said helps the manager. Still feel if we sell a couple “windass and Wes” we will have the opportunity to bring in a couple more . All need to relax team will have a better balance when we sign third Centre half and able to play 3-5-2 - which will free up tav and John on the flanks.

21 Jul 2018 17:41:17
We can't be saying our defence is rock solid when it's yet to even be tested!
Our fans already questioning SG, we all knew he'd no managerial experience when he was confirmed as our new appointment, need to get this instant success out of our head right now, the state of our club as a whole will take him seasons to fix! End of the day he's still learning his trade which takes time!
Pointless trying to compare him to how big Brenda's campaign kicked off, two totally different managers in clubs that are world's apart right now!

21 Jul 2018 19:33:54
Gerrard maybe inexperienced as a manager but as a player he has been tested in every way. He has worked under pressure and different world class managers. He is not alone. He has premiership level coaching team and gary mac. This is the best management team since walter mccoist and mcdowel. Really looking forward to this season can't wait let's go.

21 Jul 2018 20:26:04
What he has achieved as a player has absolutely nothing to do with how he will perform as a manager, totally different kettle of fish as many brilliant players have found out before! Gazza, Shearer, Maradona and Bobby Charlton to name just a few!
To say this is the best management team since Walter Smith era is absolute crazy considering he has yet to win any silverware as a manager! Can't wait for the season to kick off either and obviously hope Gerrard kills it in his first season!

21 Jul 2018 21:43:58
Every manager is inexperienced at some point, we’re a small team who realistically won’t make the group stages of Europe and will fight it out with Aberdeen for second place of a diddy league, what do we expect? This is hard to take but is the truth, we’ll sign young player (loan) after young player and hope that perhaps we beat the diddies from the East Side before they make 10. anybody who doesn’t know deep down that this is true are therefore deluded!

21 Jul 2018 23:31:37
Hollow55 "WE ARE A SMALL TEAM "? What are you on? We are a huge team with a huge fan base, one of the biggest in the world. We also are the most successful team in the world. Explain yourself!

22 Jul 2018 07:42:15
We can’t compete with most championship teams in England, would you call that a huge team? Huge teams are Man U, Man C, Madrid, AC, Barcelona etc.

Ajax have spent £33m on two players and they’re not even a big team.

We need to open our eyes, even mediocre European teams don’t sign four youth players on loan and hunt the English championship for bargains,

Please open your eyes to the situation we find ourselves in, in today’s footballing world we are a very small club and therefore we can’t expect much more than an inexperienced manager.

We won’t make the group stages and will fight it out with Aberdeen for second, that simply is the truth of our reality.

22 Jul 2018 08:13:05
Hollow I agree with you, we used to be a massive club, even feared at times in Europe, but we are not that team anymore people forget just because we have a massive fan base and great history that we are way bellow the standard of every other big name in football. We will never be battling it out in Europe again, if we manage to get into group stage of either European tournament we will be ripped apart in most games.

22 Jul 2018 08:58:30
Jordy we can get better, it just takes a long time to build up a squad which we can churn over and over again helping us be self sufficient. We need to produce young players which we can sell and reinvest and get better in the transfer market, I actually think we’re getting better in the latter although time will tell. It’ll get better but we’re years away and everybody else (in Europe) are getting stronger!

22 Jul 2018 09:45:33
I don't doubt that we can get better, it's just worrying at times when teams spending far less than what we spend, do just as well as us. last season for instance hibs and Aberdeen spent way less but were just as good. On young players we struggle due to pressure and expectation, young Cochrane from hearts was flung in at 16 I think and trusted to do well and did, our club are reluctant to play the youth because we have to win every game, I bet if Middleton played for hearts or Hibs or Kilmarnock or something he would start a lot of games but I don't see Middleton getting the chance, but that's our problem we say things like we don't want to burn him out, we don't want to ruin him the way I see it is if you think a young player has potential then use it let him play let him develop and get better so yeah spot on with the youths.

21 Jul 2018 17:41:13
Not a rumour just wanted to get peoples thoughts on the possibility of getting rhian brewster on loan from Liverpool. Personally if it was possible i think we should go for him. Watched him a few times and he is a great wee player and would do wonders up here.

21 Jul 2018 21:25:11
Not another loan player from Liverpool!

22 Jul 2018 08:18:31
Here why don't we just ask Klopp to give us a full starting 11 of Liverpool youths that should win us the treble. I have never seen a single one of these young Liverpool players play but everyone else has watched them all several times apparently and they will all rip our league up. Does anyone on here really have any idea how good any of these guys are, I don't think anyone really has any insight to how good they are just clutching at straws.

{Ed001's Note - nobody will have seen Brewster for a while as he picked up a long term injury and missed the second half of last season and will be out for a large part of this too.}

21 Jul 2018 16:56:55
If as it seems there's a growing support for moult it may be prudent to move quick
Papers report the sheep are keen on a deal to replace Rooney
I can just see it first game at Aberdeen and he rattles one, in nothing surer.

21 Jul 2018 17:12:13
Struggle to comprehend the desperation to sign moult! Adam armstrong was suggested on here and laughed out 😂. Not even close in comparison.

21 Jul 2018 22:02:45
It doesn’t matter who the fans want in. Player recruitment will be down to Gerrard and Allen. It’s up to us as fans to support the players brought in - not get exasperated at the slightest error.

21 Jul 2018 22:58:38
Agreed UnionJack, a lot of people on here seem to think they're playing football manager instead of supporting the team.

21 Jul 2018 15:39:09
Forgot to mention I was on holiday last week I totally forgot about rangers and Celtic I'm surprised my self was away to Hawaii there noodles and chicken dishes are top drawer.

21 Jul 2018 19:03:28
Jealous dislikes lol.

21 Jul 2018 20:06:28
I was in Turkey for 2 weeks and thought about the Gers everyday!

21 Jul 2018 21:04:11
Why don’t youse holiday in Helensburgh. and you can still go to see the gers. heard the noodle and chicken dishes and fish suppers are to die fir.

21 Jul 2018 15:38:14
Hi fellow bears

does anyone know of a pub or bar in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote I can watch the bears next 2 games.

Cheers.

21 Jul 2018 16:20:36
Bluebells mate good rangers pub
Good beer food folk enjoy
It's on the seafront street kellio.

21 Jul 2018 17:03:17
Bluebells mate quality Rangers boozer right on the front enjoy. Will be there in 2 weeks.

21 Jul 2018 18:06:44
Cheers for that, Kellio and Baillie42.

1966.

21 Jul 2018 11:54:15
Don't want to be negative here but who thinks this game against a good Croatian side may have come to early?

Ed001 can you maybe put a up a poll to ask fans if this game might have come too premature for where we are just now?

We are still a team pretty much in the gelling period and we are not only playing a team that are sound technically but also with pace and this team has big physical players

We as a team should be beating this sort team but you can't under-estimate them!

I would categorise NK Osijek as a household name rather than a "minnow"

You seen what the Croatian side had achieved in the World Cup to back this up!

We will need to get a result over there in the first leg to return to Ibrox to have any real chance to get through this tie

We have some good qualities in our team but the realistic thing is these guys have only played a few games together

Who agrees?

Lets hope we can do it! Great to be back in Europe

C'mon the Gers!

{Ed033's Note -

Croatian Side Poll

21 Jul 2018 16:01:21
If we cannot beat a so called good Croatian side, then we don’t deserve to be in the europa league.

21 Jul 2018 17:15:06
Going to come down to who wants to win simple as that. Yes we're gelling and we must and we will improve but bottle is what's needed. We have superior quality.

21 Jul 2018 17:36:47
blueboy, please remind me of the team who came runners up at the world cup, now go justify your opinion, because it ain't worth reading as it stands.

21 Jul 2018 17:58:14
Ritchie 1 I don’t really care what you think, that’s my opinion if you don’t like it tough.

21 Jul 2018 18:57:24
It's not that we won't deserve to be in Europa league group stages if we lose to the Croatian side, fact is, we simply won't be!

21 Jul 2018 19:13:17
Lol well said Pdot, that’s probably how I should have phrased it 👍.

21 Jul 2018 20:08:02
It's going to be a tough tough game that's for sure and tbh there's a good chance we will go out but if we do it doesn't mean the seasons over or Stevie is a bad manager we just have to dust ourselves down and go and chase 55, I personally don't think we have and cat in hell's chance of getting to the group stage but it doesn't mean I think the whole season has gone tits up if we don't . This team needs seasonerious time to gel and they will and when they do we will get a clearer picture of how far we should be getting in certain competitions until then let's get behind the boys whilst they find their feet because I'm sure it will happen a lot quicker if the players hear the fans are behind them instead of picking out their flaws etc.

21 Jul 2018 21:08:06
Gonna really miss Arfield . if he’s not there. think that was the prob last two ties . he will b the anchor and driver in our team. a hit like thuggy broon . in my opinion. realised you’ve got to put that on this site to prevent you being slautered totally.

22 Jul 2018 08:25:43
Most will disagree but is the EL not just more of a hindrance? I say that because we will have enough on our plate trying to compete with the other teams around us as well as trying to stay close to them. We will also be in the League cup and Scottish cup which every Rangers fan expects us to win so in my opinion it might be a blessing I disguise if we end up out of it, all I know is that I want rangers to stop them getting 10 In a row and playing in an extra tournament doesn't help that.

21 Jul 2018 15:14:54
Bring big lafferty back he will do a job next to morelos.

21 Jul 2018 15:29:58
agreed. we need a predator.

21 Jul 2018 17:48:51
I'd rather have pneumonia than Lafferty.

21 Jul 2018 21:13:41
Did Lafferty score against raith the day? No, and Ritchie alfredo wasn’t playing for raith like you predicted.
And if alfredo hadn’t scored against raith this site would be on melt down.

21 Jul 2018 21:25:55
I was at the Raith v Hearts game today. Please be assured - we do not want or need Lafferty or Naismith.

21 Jul 2018 15:01:32
First time post,

Totally agree we need another striker with a fair bit of experience.

Think louis moult/ kyle laffety would be a good option to be honest but surely there must be some decent strikers in the free agent market without clubs.

I know abel Hernandez and Lacina traore are both without clubs granted would demand higher wages but surely they would represent a decent investment considering we now have Bruno alves off the books aswell as other deadwood.

Personal opinion would be to go deep in the pocket to offer a contract to Hernandez or traore and if it fails then go with the aforementioned moult or big lafferty.

What's everyone's opinion?

21 Jul 2018 14:53:25
Totally agree about the negativity on the Rumours and Banter pages, what the hell do some people want, we haven't conceded a goal yet, so progress there, no matter who we were playing. Louis Moult certainly wouldn't hide and is a scorer, he doesn't need to be world class, he will have talented players laying on the chances for him. I for one can't think of anybody who should be uptight about Steven Gerrard, the man oozes class, so c'mon give him a break. I really do believe that there are more than a few Celtic Fans purporting to be Rangers Fans trying to create division among us, and succeeding if you believe some comments.

21 Jul 2018 15:20:35
You're right, irvger, Gerrard oozes class, knows his football inside out and that's why Moult will never be a Rangers player.

21 Jul 2018 16:25:01
I completely agree with you irvger. As a matter of fact I would bring in big Laff and Moult. That way there would be plenty of competition for places, and combined they would not cost a kings ransom.

21 Jul 2018 13:00:32
Europa league 3rd qualifying round potential teams to play

Sevilla
Burnley
Zenit
Dinamo Zagreb
Basiktas
PSV
Fiorentina
Lille

Well well well any of this bunch will test our team spirit and talent on the pitch.

21 Jul 2018 14:19:49
Let’s get by the Croatia team first eh?

21 Jul 2018 14:30:55
Agree OP, - let's not jump the gun though. This other mob are no mugs!

21 Jul 2018 22:01:41
Well now what do we have here now guvnor?

22 Jul 2018 08:28:32
Well it was fun while it lasted, focus on the League anyway a we cup would be nice but 55 is what we seek.

21 Jul 2018 12:52:07
coulibaly and sadiq has their international clearance been given and are they eligible for this week.

21 Jul 2018 14:16:47
we welcome the chase .

21 Jul 2018 12:51:52
Yes to be fair Louis Moult would be a decent signing.

21 Jul 2018 12:10:11
I'd take Louis moult, might no be a marque signing but he does what it says on tin.

21 Jul 2018 12:23:46
He moults?

21 Jul 2018 12:46:47
Decent player, certainly wouldn't get bullied anyway.

21 Jul 2018 20:10:47
I'd take Moult, A: He wouldn't cost a fortune, B:He fits into the signings made so far ie strong, big and won't be bullied and C: he knows the league and hasn't got a bad scoring record in it at all.

21 Jul 2018 12:03:57
first leg next week officially live on Premier Sports as per their website 7.45 thursday.

21 Jul 2018 21:16:26
That’s a late one hope so 👍.

21 Jul 2018 09:37:23
Anyone know much about Ryan Kent? guy i work with isa big liverpool fan and speaks highly of him however i don't know much.

21 Jul 2018 09:48:09
No one does. I’d guess very few to little have saw him on a regular basis but our Management team have and that's what matters.

21 Jul 2018 22:06:40
Clark Kent’s wee brother. He’s super-man.

21 Jul 2018 09:33:25
Why are we so concenered about buying or loaning midfielders?

We've lost:-
Cummings
Herrera
Miller
Dodoo
MOH (dunno what's happening)

We've bought one strikerin Sadiq. Morelos can't hit a barn door and Windas (not a striker as such) is also off form, yet we are looking at more midfielders.

Come on SG.

21 Jul 2018 09:47:13
MOH is away to Austraalia mate.

21 Jul 2018 10:08:56
How do you know about Sadiq? Do you own a barn?

21 Jul 2018 10:12:14
5 strikers mentioned. All 5 are terrible. We currently have Morelos Sadiq and rudden. Sure there will be 1 more in. Kent will play wide right or left in front 3.

21 Jul 2018 21:51:55
Look at that list mate. Miller only player worth a game and he’s 55. Get your point though. I’m sure we are in for a striker somewhere. Hope it’s the lad from twente as he’s dynamite.

Morelos couldn’t hit a double decker with a shotgun (Had to use it) .

No seriously I think it would do Morelos a great service to have a sighter with his first sniff in every game. A nice target shot to get him moving. At this point he’s a mile off what we need.

21 Jul 2018 09:14:55
Morning all. I have a name to maybe help our striking 'crisis' as some put it. I'm happy to persist with Morelos . He's a confidence striker, as soon as he gets his first the goals will follow.

But before the pitch forks, white flags or opinion badgers come out. It's just my opinion but the guy I'm going to bring up is available for about 500k and has a proven goal scoring record in Scotland. Ok we met need a level above for Europe but our main focus should be the league and maybe a cup final this season. So here it goes

Louis moult.

Thoughts .?

21 Jul 2018 09:41:33
Not a bad shout, james2018!I was wanting us to sign louis moult last season and posted it on these pages!
You're right mate, our bread and butter is in the league and the cup competitions! Louis moult needs no introduction, on how to score goals on these shores, that's for sure! Talking about moult, i was reading this morning that aberdeen are wanting to sign him, to replace adam rooney. I certainly wouldn't be complaining, if we went out and signed louis moult and beat the sheep to his signature! He'd most definitely score goals for us!

21 Jul 2018 10:03:11
Agree 100%coops would get at least 25 in our shirt let's face it we won't go far in Europe, league is no 1 priority.

21 Jul 2018 10:10:43
Christ, sounded like the announcement of the X Factor results.

21 Jul 2018 10:11:46
Louis moult or big lafferty I'd be happy with either. Inexpensive, both no the Scottish game and would do well.
The Europa league is good for the club of course, but the league is where we need to be challenging first and foremost! Defence is Looking the best it has in years thank God! Get the forward line sorted and we can hit the ground running when league starts next month. Still to see Sadiq and coulibaly. They can be great signings. 11 days till we r rid of sports direct millstone too. Can't wait for pittodrie. We will do a number on those c#$%@s! FIRB.

21 Jul 2018 10:49:38
ageee on moult bears. he’s already proven what he can he do and scored regularly in SPL incl against both halves OF

hes another option for us if we need to go long as he holds ball up works hard is a target man and his goals record was 50 in 2.5 seasons i think. he’d give morelos some support up top if they played as a partnership as despite not being a huge fan of el buffalo i think the lads really struggling up top on his own

he scored most of his goals pre xmas with miller beside him but when he was up top on his own struggled badly

as distatestful as it is to most bears i'd also take lafferty back we desp need goals and either moult or laff wld help.

Get it into your heads, apart from not being anywhere near good enough, Moult doesn't WANT to play for Rangers, he doesn't even want to be in Scotland! He left Motherwell to go back home and is staying put. And he's struggling at Preston. We need to raise our heads a bit and our ambitions for our team. Moult, McLean, Walker, Crawford and all the other two-bit journeymen some on here have punted as being what we need will NEVER be good enough for Rangers.

21 Jul 2018 14:14:34
Ok so dutycalls and more so doiger criticising the post. You are entitled to your opinions. Fair enough. But neither of you suggest a viable option that. A - we can afford and B - would want to come and play for us.

21 Jul 2018 15:24:47
James2018, that's the job of the manager and his staff, to identify viable options. Who am I to tell Gerrard who he should be signing? Don't you understand that Moult, even if he was good enough (which he isn't) doesn't flaming well want to come back to Scotland? As you say yourself, players that 'would want to come and play for us'!

21 Jul 2018 21:52:51
100% for me mate but would he fit into a Gerrard team? . He’s a kris Boyd type signing for me but that’s how leagues are won. I’d take him in a second.

21 Jul 2018 08:02:01
No televised game on thurs?

21 Jul 2018 08:43:58
Think it's on rtv.

21 Jul 2018 08:44:24

21 Jul 2018 10:13:35
Hope so ah cannot handle another commentator in a foreign toungue.

21 Jul 2018 12:05:03
1st leg confirmed on Premier Sports.

21 Jul 2018 12:34:35
It’s on premier.

21 Jul 2018 08:00:24
Im getting a wee bit frustrated with our fans already moaning about steven gerrard not being good enough were already furtjer in europe now than we were last year give him a chance eh.

21 Jul 2018 08:56:47
I'm probably in the minority but Europe is a distraction this season.
Get two three games make about one million a tie, move on. If we go further greatb.

21 Jul 2018 07:55:05
Credit to the chap who posted on here 2 weeks ago about Ryan Kent of Liverpool signing for us. According to this mornings newspaper he's signed a year contract.

21 Jul 2018 07:49:01
Dosnt look like the Europa game is on tv anywhere? Bummer.

21 Jul 2018 07:20:29
Come on folks a bit more positivity! Remember Brendan Rodgers lost against red imps in his first competitive game.

A quality forward and for me S Davis or his type and we are there.

I think SG has has a bit of bad luck already with injuries I believe Rossiter and maybe even Dorrans would have played in midfield and given us more control and creativity over Mccorie and Jack. Don't get me wrong jack and Mccorie both did ok but not as creative as Rossiter or Dorrans and also not forgetting we lost Arfield for 2nd leg again a more offensive player who I think will be a big player for us.

People saying Gerrard playing people out of position Candeas, Windass and Flanagan.

I can see the logic in playing Candeas in midfield he was trying to get energy and legs in midfield and don't forget Rodgers managed to turn Mcgregor from a winger to a midfielder who can score goals. Sadly it doesn't appeared to have worked but we have had only a few games.

As for Windass playing him on the right or left, he has got into dangerous positions and just not finished his chances. SG clearly wants a front 3 like Liverpool who are dynamic. I know everyone will say that Windass best position is behind the striker and it does look that way but SG doesn't want to play that system I hope Windass can adapt to play in front 3 as I don't believe you can play him in the midfield as he tends to switch of defensively.

As for Flanagan it has made our Defense stronger and I think SG is smart to at this stage to be prioritising clean sheets and solid defence over having both his full backs bombing forward out of position. Just look how many goals we have lost in the past few seasons by having a poor defensive shape this is an area of the team that already looks so much better and the players are still getting to know each other.

I think SG knows we need another top quality striker. Morelos looks low in confidence reminds me off how Negris Rangers career went, great first half of the season poor second half. He might come good but I think we need a striker in that can come in and hit the ground running.

21 Jul 2018 10:34:37
Ok I'm positive we need a striker.

Review Of The Day 21st July 2018

21 Jul 2018 07:06:17
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 21st July 2018

21 Jul 2018 04:13:04
before the lynch mob arrive. now i'm happy stevie g, is here. box office he is, manager exsperiance nothing. how many great players who can't cut it as a manager. long list. already mistakes docherty over halliday every dayof week future captain docherty. playing players out of position, w.

21 Jul 2018 06:02:11
Don't you think it's a little early for you to be sharpening your pitchfork and saying Gerrard is a bad manager?

I really despair about our support sometimes, 2 games, league not started yet and already winding up to start crying Gerrard out.

21 Jul 2018 06:27:15
ive put other post out f. u. pressed wrong button, mistakes already made, docherty over halliday all day long. love halliday lived the dream put on blue shirt, but not at thi leval. docherty future captain and what a prospect, windass waste of jersey, waste of wage, sell if right money bid comes in. candias get rid journeyman winger at best, waste of selection, so inconsistent, better wingers out there to buy/ play why managers play players out of position what for? yes 2 games in gerrard started that. we have a tough start to league i guarantee you if we have a poor start fans will question gerrard. heres hoping gerrard delivers, box office he is, doesn't guarantee us success. london jock.

21 Jul 2018 08:45:12
I don’t know why people get hung up on Docherty, he never proved himself in 6 months he was rangers class, another Jason holt in my opinion. No goals and very little assists if he even got one. I think out on loan for a season can only benefit the boy rather than sitting on the bench. Haliday won’t even see the bench once our midfielders are back fit, so don’t worry there. Striker and an attacking centre mid that can find a pass to space out wide or to our strikers feet and we are sorted for a challenge to the league.

21 Jul 2018 08:53:08
To be fair. No one guarantees success, but our squad has improved no doubt, so he gets a pass mark there we have went further in europe so again another pass mark. League hasn't even started yet.
We can speculate about what we think will happen but we all will have to wait and see but the one thing that matters is Steven Gerrard is our manager and there stands the point of why he has our support. The walls haven't crashed down, the players aren't revolting so why not enjoy. We have hardly had anything to enjoy in a long time so am here for the ride with a smile on my face.

21 Jul 2018 09:21:28
Docherty needs games to improve. Wont get them here this season. Good move as Halliday won't mind sitting on bench with a few cameos. he's probably doing well in training and works hard giving others the impetus to do better. Valuable without being on the pitch? His attitude must be good as he'd be gone if not.

21 Jul 2018 09:32:00
See if you can do a better job than stevie apply for it yourself. He makes decisions not us. If u don't like it tough u really think he cares? he's going about it his way, supposed to be grown men on here. support the club or don't, but don't act like kids about it. am sure folk in your jobs would love yours sacked too.

21 Jul 2018 14:10:17
I can't imagine anyone who has ever watched football believing that Greg Docherty is a future Rangers captain. Absurd.

22 Jul 2018 08:32:18
duty calls, docherty is one the best prospects in scotland, young and has a great career ahead of him, he would have flourished under gerrad. when you think tavernier is captain how would you no further down the line docherty would be in contention, halliday over docherty are you serious, its called know your football sir. london jock.

21 Jul 2018 00:47:42
Cant believe some of the negative chat here. Defense is sorted. A few more in and a bit of tinkering and we're there or there abouts. Just hope we make the signings now rather than waiting to see how we do in the qualifiers. Creativity and a finisher and it all good.

21 Jul 2018 08:19:20
I get your comments about the negativity and your right it’s far too early to really judge the team however that cuts both ways and I think it’s far too early to say the defence is sorted as well.
