Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

21 Jan 2020 21:07:27
Well done to our understrengthed colts tonight! The future is very bright the future is rangers! Great result.

22 Jan 2020 05:47:24
Brian, yes mate, just read about the youngster game, silly first goal to give away, but they will learn from it, just like the first team they get it instilled into them never give up, no surrender.

22 Jan 2020 08:59:57
Yes, great result which begs a question - why not include McPake and Kennedy in the first team squad for the rest of the season to give them experience and to savour the atmosphere and maybe give them a run for the last 15 minutes of the odd match. If Morelos and Defoe both get injured/ suspended at the same time playing McPake wouldn't exactly be a disaster!

22 Jan 2020 09:33:01
Doiger not seen the game is mcpake back from dundee? Noticed he couldn't get a game there wondered what was the issue there?

22 Jan 2020 10:24:09
I'm assuming he is back Paul, though not sure. Would he have played if still at Dundee on loan?

22 Jan 2020 11:41:10
My understanding is his loan at dundee was only till xmas. He was involved a fair bit prior to picking up an injury. Still a young lad and would like to see him stay around the squad and maybe get a few cameo performances in the home games.

22 Jan 2020 12:39:50
Was too lightweight for the championship, needs to mature into a man’s body a bit, was getting bullied.

22 Jan 2020 14:30:13
Rangers had option to recall mcpake in January, which the did, . Saw him twice with Dundee. It was men against boy, he needs to grow physically, long way from our first team.

22 Jan 2020 15:33:26
I remember a skinny Denis Law at 16 and people writing home off.

22 Jan 2020 18:31:37
Doiger - who’s writing him off? Just saying he’s too lanky at the moment, championship level defenders bullied him what do you think guys a step up will do? Just needs a season to get in shape.

21 Jan 2020 17:08:42
What does Ross Wilson actually value Alfie at?

21 Jan 2020 18:18:16
phone him up and ask him, sure he will tell you.

22 Jan 2020 01:07:46
He wouldn't tell me when I phoned him.
I'm not phoning him again 😉.

22 Jan 2020 11:05:45
He was at his tea, bluebell. you've to phone him again 👍.

22 Jan 2020 12:46:42
he will quote £ or Dembele Dollars; just ask.

22 Jan 2020 12:46:53
jings lads why ask ross wilson ask the other mob they will know!

21 Jan 2020 16:58:35
First time poster here, a young rangers fan lost his fight with Cystic Fibrosis yesterday and there is a push for an applause in his memory on the 13th minute tomorrow night (he was 13 years old) . Can all fans try and make this happen?
He was such a fighter right until the end and this would be very special for the family too.

Small article about Ayden

21 Jan 2020 17:18:35
God Bless x.

21 Jan 2020 18:14:13
Well said 55, Ayden will hear the applause.

21 Jan 2020 18:23:20
bribhoy still owes me £100pounds for a bet for charity, i would be happy if he would make it to the wee boys parents, that's my nominated charity.

21 Jan 2020 21:40:04
Gersfan55 i'm gutted to hear that news. I have a 5 year old daughter with Cystic Fibrosis and know how it can affect a whole family. Thoughts go out to his family and friends. It brings everything into perspective in this life. I'll be applauding in the 13th minute with everything I've got.

22 Jan 2020 05:50:36
Mocbear, we all will mate, soory to read of your wee daughters illness, but yea situations like this does bring everything into perspective.

22 Jan 2020 07:25:45

It's impossible to compare different Football Eras

21 Jan 2020 16:36:30
{Ed's Note - Har_red92 has posted a new article entitled, It's impossible to compare different Football Eras

21 Jan 2020 15:01:38
Anyone know how young Mebude is developing? He signed an extended deal last year and we were hearing quite a lot about him. I thought he may have had some involvement with the first team this season.

21 Jan 2020 20:24:37
He's still only 18 and is improving physically, which he badly needs to protect himself in a league of assassins.

22 Jan 2020 03:04:40
Have you seen the pics of him with his shirt off at the end of last season? He’s built like Mike Tyson he’ll be fine!

21 Jan 2020 14:43:37
Looking forward to back to bread and butter of SPL. Had a fantastic time with friends in Dubai, thanks to John and Ed for the advice in places to visit.
Will certainly go back but not too sure if l could stay there ed. You have been there too long if you thought it was Baltic ed, was lovely and warm. 😎

Looking for a performance in our game tomorrow.

{Ed001's Note - I don't think you can be here too long mate! Glad you enjoyed it.}

21 Jan 2020 15:13:05
Gger glad u enjoyed. My second favourite place to visit after New York. I go ny once a year
Also off to Masters and Ryder cup this year.
U r right re Ed, thinking too cold lol, and Ed is right can’t be in Dubai too long.

21 Jan 2020 15:59:36
Guys can’t agree about Dubai, been there a few times and can never get away fast enough. Completely soulless and devoid of any real character or identity. Give me Loch Lomond or Skye anytime. Good climate though.

21 Jan 2020 16:44:03
Have to agree Bankie. Everything that’s wrong with the world papped in the middle of a desert. Been offered a few jobs there and my response has always been you couldn’t pay me enough.

{Ed001's Note - everything that's wrong with the world? You really have no idea what you are talking about.}

21 Jan 2020 17:17:27
Ed01, I’d qualify theswagmans comment and say much that is wrong in the modern world is readily evident in Dubai.

{Ed001's Note - you clearly have no idea either. Obviously both white and middle-classed who have forgotten what country they live in. If you think this is what is wrong in the modern world, then you must walk around with your eyes shut to what is happening in the UK.}

21 Jan 2020 17:22:10
Luck you, masters, I wish!

21 Jan 2020 17:35:11
Ed01, your reply is offensive, incorrect and shows you up in a very poor light.

{Ed001's Note - me? You whine about somewhere being all that's wrong in the world, while living in a city that has to have hundreds of foodbanks just to feed its people. Where you can't even exist in peace when you have the same bloody religion because of intolerance and bigotry about a war from hundreds of years ago, but you call a country where people from hundreds of countries and all creeds and religions exist peacefully (in the main) all that is wrong with the world? And you think I am incorrect? Ok whatever.}

21 Jan 2020 17:48:05
Any jobs going out there Ed? Haha would love to move n visit the place. What do paramedics or EMTs make out there?

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea mate. You would have to look it up but there are usually jobs available, especially with the Expo this year there should be work for those kind of jobs.}

21 Jan 2020 18:26:57
john25. tickets for the masters you wish.

21 Jan 2020 18:41:16
My dream. Realised. It’s not hard to get tickets, just costs.

21 Jan 2020 20:22:37
SoFlo is where its at anyway.

21 Jan 2020 20:45:26
Is this still a Rangers page? Rants galore is what is feels like Ed!

21 Jan 2020 21:00:09
I have to say Ed I’ve been to Dubai the last 6yrs for a week at a time, always in July or August (you can’t say it’s too cool at that time of year haha) . Always found the people to be really nice, friendly and welcoming. Also never felt safer walking about a place at night as I do in Dubai. Only criticism is the wife lives diamonds and although a fraction of the price over there it still costs me a fortune! 😂.

{Ed001's Note - no, it is way too hot then! Much cheaper to visit that time of year but you miss out on a lot of the things to do such as Global Village.}

21 Jan 2020 22:28:22
Perfect mate il have a look dude.

22 Jan 2020 05:53:13
Bankie, I've never been to dubia, but ime mega sure if i couldn't get out of the place fast enough, i definitely wouldn't have visited it for a second time, or. Went to work in it a second time.

22 Jan 2020 03:08:09
It’s a place of obscene, dripping wealth. A place for the rich. I’m working class and very proud of it. And very left wing and it’s an absolute disgrace that we have food banks in this country. Dubai is not the real world, it’s a fantasy land built on the blood, sweat and tears of the exploited. Do some research into how your utopia was built and paid for.

{Ed001's Note - it is far from that, it is not what you think it is. You are not allowed zero hour contracts here, for instance. There is a lot less exploitation going on here than ever there has been in the UK. Typical of the ignorant to come out with this crap when they are in no position to throw stones at all. You might want to look into history and realise who actually set it up and why it was how it seems you think it still is. Yes, that's right, the British set it up and its government and the laws etc.

There is exploitation everywhere, but, unlike in the UK, the govt here actually looks to change the law to stop it, rather than introduce measures to allow more of it to happen. Funnily enough, the changes have come about with the reduction of British influence and exploitation of the region.

What you see is not what this place is. The tourist ideal to bring in visitors to allow what is in essence just a trading post between east and west to grow into a city that provides for the future. They haven't ever relied on oil, it has always been less than a quarter of their income. Tourism and particularly shoppers are the lifeblood of this place. And that provides huge numbers of jobs for people that then provide for their families back home.

Don't get me wrong, it is far from perfect, there are companies that exploit workers, but it is not legal exploitation like you seem to believe. That has long gone and your kind of comments are based on antiquated ideas, the kind of crap that is just embarrassing in its pure ignorance.

This reminds me of the nonsense that came out about China exploiting their workers because they were paying them only £X a week, when British workers would get 10 times that. What they didn't bother to look into is what a living wage is in China, and that X is enough to look after their family and live well. The biggest problems were companies such as Apple, that did come in and exploit it and employed small children to build their products. However the west still lauded Steve Jobs as some kind of messiah, when he was building a fortune off the back of child slave labour.}

22 Jan 2020 10:45:10
Ed0, the only person whining on here is your good self. Sounds like your fighting the revolution from your bunker in downtown Dubai.

{Ed001's Note - no, I am just not ignorant and spreading untruths.}

22 Jan 2020 11:51:34
Let's talk about the Bears! And Ed . edit to ensure this Rangers site remains all about Rangers. There are other sites to discuss the rights and wrongs in the world. Onwards.

21 Jan 2020 12:40:52
Another nothing story from the Daily Rag about Morelos this time. According to a former Columbian and Costa Rican manager, Morelos SHOULD join Barcelona. Nothing about Barcelona showing interest in Morelos, just somebody's opinion. Pure rubbish this paper. I'd also like us to keep Docherty and Middleton for our squad for the run-in though that seems unlikely. Still think a big signing is looming.

21 Jan 2020 13:16:58
Same paper. John Hartson ranting on about Morelos cut throat gesture and twice saying a million percent. A hundred percent is in fact the maximum. Imagine getting a million percent in your maths Highers.

21 Jan 2020 13:41:25
I fully expect some Barcelona fans to react to the story the same way that some on here are reacting about the possibility that Shankland could join the Gers - all about perceptions.

21 Jan 2020 14:10:07
I'd be very surprised if Barcelona fans know of Morelos 😁.

21 Jan 2020 18:13:50
Oh they do, their all in witness protection, John Harton says Alfs throat slit gesture was aimed at them too.

21 Jan 2020 18:46:52
big johns boot was aimed at bercovics head, no doubt it was a slip, guys a complete waste of space, how he steals a wage as a pundit i don't know, still counts with his fingers and thumbs.

21 Jan 2020 12:37:40
ok fellow bears important match tomorrow night! so what will the sfa charge us with between now and then? what clubs will be putting in bids for morelos and most of our first team? i'm not paranoid i know they are out to get us! top of the league tomorrow night and 2 finger salute to them all!

21 Jan 2020 15:14:43
Brian they will win also tomorrow night.

21 Jan 2020 15:29:56
hope springs eternal john! i reckon a draw but we will see?

21 Jan 2020 11:59:55
How about a wee cheeky bid of 15 mill over 4 installments for Edovard. His form over the last month has been poor but I'm sure the leagues best manager SG could get the best out of him.

21 Jan 2020 13:26:34
Stewartyblue, ime sure eduardo would score goals for our colt team mate, so maybe not such a bad idea mate,

21 Jan 2020 13:44:10
No sure if he would be happy at third choice pick? But Defoe could always help his game.

21 Jan 2020 07:04:48
I think we should be seeking a Hately or Prso style of striker. Think we've got a couple of seasons left in Dafoe (if he stays) and a good strong CF would link up with him perdectly. We look strong in most areas but after Friday nights game I know we really MUST bring in a striker asap. 🇬🇧.

21 Jan 2020 09:52:59
We don't play with 2 up front ( like majority of teams these days) so how are they going to be able to link up?

21 Jan 2020 10:08:02
Buddy blue couldn’t agree more if we were to loose Morelos to injury suspension or loss of form we are in big trouble if al our first team regulars stay fit keep their form going we are in a good place but loose one or two then the problems begin look at the Stranraer game squad players came in and did themselves no favours but goals win games and I agree we need cover.

21 Jan 2020 10:53:28
I think Sam cotsgrove from Aberdeen as a striker option. He’s a target man, physical likes a battle. I know as much as we detest him sometimes he’s a good player. Add something else to our set piece play.

Defoe or Alfie won’t be around forever. 🔴⚪️🔵.

21 Jan 2020 13:30:42
Bigalthunder, rangers would need to win a triple rolll overr in the lottery to get cosgrove because that's what aberdeen value him at, lol.

21 Jan 2020 16:02:14
A Cosgrove style player is exactly what is missing from our current set up. Its the only thing SG has not tried so far.

21 Jan 2020 16:59:13
I'm sure the manager knows exactly what he is doing regarding footballers and carthorses. He also has a system that uses one up top and he's not going to change that because some of us seem to think that most clubs now play with two up (which they don't) . In other words, don't hold your breath waiting for him to sign a talentless battering ram.

21 Jan 2020 05:14:54
Not a rangers player anymore but just read in the papers that gattusos Napoli are to bid 10Mill for SADIQ. That is absolutely bonkers 😂😂.

21 Jan 2020 09:59:52
He’s not unfortunately but an absolute legend, never heard of the other guy. 😉.

21 Jan 2020 11:12:20
Sadiq has actually outscored Edouard of the Tims in the Europa League this season - now that’s bonkers! 😂.

21 Jan 2020 11:44:09
50m then pacman eith the eddy calculator 😂😂.

21 Jan 2020 14:14:02
Sadiq will go down as the one that got away. We all overreacted to his performance and that dive against the sheep.

20 Jan 2020 22:16:27
I don't read the dr but was on rangers news. John fartson at it again about a throat cut gesture by Alfie. Saying how wrong Rangers are for not acting on it. Wonder what punishment he would want if Alfie vollyed a team mates head.

21 Jan 2020 06:24:59
John hartson has been left a very bitter individual, since we rejected him under dick advocaat, in favour of signing the wonderful, world class ronald de boer! The fat Welshman has never gotten over that as he was desparate to sign for us at the time. Remember when the deal went belly up, he was in tears. Now he's a very twisted, bitter individual towards the most successful football club on the planet! Get it right up you, fatbhoy.

21 Jan 2020 07:47:21
Absolute balloon. Could have gave berkovic brain damage volleying his head like that. And has cried like a big wean at a throat gesture 😂😂.

21 Jan 2020 09:03:02
Naturally I detest fartson but then I remember he had a brain tumour removed.

Perhaps that's one reason he has become an even worse r sole but I genuinely would not have wished that on him or anyone else for that matter.

21 Jan 2020 11:14:24
Hartson and Sutton both have to be controversial to be relevant as they aren’t likeable any other way to viewers / listeners.
2 persons from the same sack!

21 Jan 2020 13:23:25
Did we not sign Flo after Hartson failed his medical? Anyway, for one of them, I always used to think that Hartson seemed a big likeable guy - how wrong I was. Turning into the same bitter and twisted individual as Sutton.

21 Jan 2020 13:34:34
S. g. l Fat hartson lost his hair within a fortnight when he heard we were not signing him. lol.

21 Jan 2020 14:41:15
Spot on Supercoop.
